Abstract

This research was about lock of students interest in learning sociology it’s cause of students perception that they think sociology be bored and make them feel sleepy. In other hand, method that used by sociology teacher also monotonous in the class. Al most of the students think that sociology is not really good for the people so many they of students choose like science and other at SMAN 1 Ranah Pesisir Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan. The purpose of this research were. 1). How the teacher use this method to improve studets’ interest at SMAN 1 Ranah Pesisir Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan. 2). The effect of the method that used by the theacer in improving students’ interest at SMAN 1 Ranah Pesisir Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan.This research used qualitative and type of the research was descriptive. Informant of the research take with purposive sampling, the informant in this research were teachers and students’. Source of the research were: a). data primer was data which got from interview and observation. b). data secunder was support data which got from school. the technique of data collection used interview, observation, and documentation. The technique of data analysis were collected the data, reduction the data, display or presentation the data and conclusion.The result of the research. Was students’ interest used dis cussion method more improving more than used talking method. Teacher method by using discussion method can make student here argumentation and opinion about learning process. Talkative not hod made the students passive in learning process because they only silent in the class. In addition discussion method have long time while the time of study did not suitable by using discussion method, adaptable every method that will used in learning process.

Abstract

The use of handphone by students in the school performed continuously or repeatedly regardless of place and time. Students using handphone while walking, while eating, hanging out with friends, waiting for public transport, to the toilet, and certain places in school and the mobile phone is not only used for communication but for internet browsing and so on and it is interesting to study how patterns of handphone use by student at SMAN 2 the Bayang. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach and descriptive type. Selection of informants of this study conducted by purposive sampling, the study informants numbered 22 people, 2 teachers and 20 students. The data of this study is primary data and secondary data. Primary data is data obtained from all study informants, and secondary data is all the data obtained from such schools as supporting documents rule, the data of teachers and students, and remarks offens. Data collection techniques in this study is the use of interview techniques, observation and documentary. All data obtained were processed and analyzed using triangulation techniques through several phases; stage of data collection, data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing process. From the results of this study revealed that there are four patterns of handphone use by students at SMAN 2 Bayang, ( 1 ) the pattern of handphone use by students is based on the time that there is a pattern that is going in 10 hours of lessons ( morning ) for the purposes of study , business , fun, and for emergency purposes . In the class for fraudulent purposes . During a break in business and at home for fun and for business , for fun and for emergency purposes . ( 2 ) the pattern of handphone use by students is based on the person contacted that there are 7 patterns to contact the teacher for the purposes of the studi, call a friend to kepeluan study, call a friend for business, call a friend for fun, contact parents for emergency purposes , to contact a girlfriend for fraudulent purposes , and to contact strangers for fraudulent purposes . ( 3 ) the pattern of handphone use by students based on where there is a pattern that is in class 9 for the purposes of study, fun, and emergency. In the literature for the purposes of the studi, in the parking lot for fun, in the park for fun, in certain places for business, for fun and emergency purposes . and ( 4 ) the pattern of handphone use by students based on frequently used applications , there are 8 pattern is a game application for fraudulent purposes , facebook for business and for fun , google for the purposes of the study , for fun and for emergency purposes , MP3 for fraudulent purposes and the use of the camera for the purposes of fad . Abstract

Family is one of the important factors in determining the success of a child . family is first and foremost a place of education for every child , also act as teachers and mentors . the role of parents is crucial to the success of childrens learning coloring to achieve the goal of National. Studied in this research is the role of parents who work as teachers in supporting their success in learned at Perumnas Belimbing Kuranji. Background of this research there are some childrens whose parents work as teachers do not get more attention is because her parents are always busy teaching, and beside teaching the parents who are teachers working as a merchant so the lack of time to control the child, the formulation the problem is how the role of a parent who is a teacher in supporting their children learning success at the Perumnas Belimbing, while the purpose of this study was to reveal the role of parents who work as teachers in supporting their learning success. Theory used is a functional of structural Robert K.Merton focused role that parents who are teachers have consequences social. Consequence objectives of the objectives of the system arising from the actions committed by parents in fulfilling the role of the family may be a consequence of manifest or latent consequences . This research used a qualitative approach with descriptive type , data collection by observation and in-depth interviews nonparticipation. This research uses 12 parents who work as teachers and 3 childrens. informan of this research there were 15 people who were interviewed about the role of parents who work as teachers in supporting their learning success at Perumnas Belimbing. Data analysis is a model of Miles and Huberman, data presentation and conclusion. Field findings indicate that parents who work as teachers have role in the success of their learning, although there are some parents who do not have time to meet with their children and supervise their children in after-school study due to fatigue because the parents taught him distant place, the role of parents worked as a teacher can be seen from its role in instilling a love of science to their children, guiding and directing supervise children in their homework, pick a good teacher and a good school, making the reading room in their house. And parents who are teachers still spend time to control their children.

Abstract

Dwiyuliana Putri (NIM:09070248), Thesis title,  Konflik Harta Pusaka Antar Suku di Nagari Tambangan Kecamatan X Koto Kabupaten Tanah Datar (Studi Kasus:  Kemenakan Malakok Suku Pisang dengan Pihak Suku Panyalai), Thesis, Sociology Education Program (STKIP) PGRI West Sumatera, Padang, 2014.The thesis explains about a conflict of inheritance among tribes in Nagari Tambangan which occurred between Anak Kemenakan Malakok[1]  from tribe of Pisang[2] and tribe of Panyalai[3]. There are many efforts tried to so lve the problem but it is still incomplete yet. The aims of the research are 1) to explain and to analize the causes of the inheritance conflict. 2) what makes the conflict still incomplete. The theory used is conflict theory by Lewis A. Coser. For method of research, the researcher uses qualitative approach with using a case study of research. The informants, 20 people, are  taken through snowball sampling. Data found, which are primary and secondary data form, are collected through interviewing, observing, and cocumentation with using supporting isntruments like pen, handphone, etc. Analysis unit of the research is group. The result of this research reveal that 1. The main inheritance conflict which happen between Kemenakan Malalkok from tribe of Pisang and panyalai tribe. a) The grab of the authority of  the farm management, b) the construction of a house which is in the confilct farm, c) the main witness had died, d) a provocation from people around. 2. The fact of making the conflict still incomplete because of  there some people try to make the problem worse, while the village administration has tried to solve this case, such as : a) forgery geneology, b) any intervention from other side, c) threat from one of the conflict side, d) difficult to do the kinship mediation  between the conflict people.[1] Kemenakan pendatang yang diangkat oleh kepala suku menjadi bagian dari sukunya[2] Salah satu suku yang ada di Minangkabau Sumatera Barat[3] Salah satu suku yang ada di Minangkabau Sumatera Barat

Abstract

Education represent one of the subject which it given high priority in national development. To reach the target of education one of the factor which must be paid attention is individual motivation in going through education ladder. But it seen still lower child’s motivate child in going through education ladder. The purpose of this research for the describe of child’s family background which did not continue education and any kind of low cause factor of motivate child in going through education ladder in Nagari River of Nanam District Of Dale of Gumanti Sub-Province of Solok.This Research used theory motivate David C. McCelland, with approach qualitative and descriptive research type. Technique sampling was by sampling purposive. With informan criterion, that is child desisting school when SMP and of SMA . Type Data was primary data. Teknique data collection with interview method. Unit analyse that is individual with data analysis of Miles & Huberman which consist of discount phase, presentation of data analysis or data, and withdrawal of conclusion.Result of research of shown that child’s family background which did not continue education can be seen from education of old fellow, work of old fellow, earnings of old fellow and family member amount, internal factor which cause low child motivation in going through education ladder that was lack of child enthusiasm for school, existence of past experience making low child motivation in going through education ladder, lack of willingness of child for school and learnt. Exsternal factor which caused  lower him motivate child in going through ladder

Abstract

Transportation is important tool in economy acountry. The transportation needed highest because part of the society to stay in country don’t have transportation, so alternative transportation be solution for the society as motorcycle used for public transportation or angkot. The research purpose is to describe about factor that reason for the society to choose more motorcycle used for public transportation in Limau Manis Pauh Kota Padang regency, for describe what the motivation motorcycle used for public transportation people to become motorcycle used for public transportation in Limau Manis Pauh Kota Padang regency and describe how the motorcycle used for public transportation people’s strategy to keep the passengers in Limau Manis Pauh Kota Padang regency. The research use of theory social measure to according by Max Weber. The research use kualitative approach with use the research type descriptive. The research use the technique of purpose sampling. This research use primary and secondary data. The technique for in the research is observation, review, documentation, techniques, all of the data. To get from the analysis with reducation data, display data, and summarize data. The result of research 1) Factor as motivate the society to choose motorcycle used for public transportation as transportation it cause, first, effective and efficient (time of efficient, the purpose of efficient, and power efficient) second, practices. 2) To motivate the motorcycle used for public transportation people, first, to make the family needed. Second, the highest income. 3) The motorcycle used for public transportation strategies to keep the passenger, first, the good relation second, to costume the passenger friendly.

Abstract

The background of the research is there many children in Nagari Koto Nan Duo prefer play traditional games to modern games. As developing of modern games nowadays, the traditional has been forgotten by many children. The research aims are 1) to describe the change form of children’ playing pattern and 2) to describe the impacts of the changes of children’s play at Nagari Koto Nan Duo Kecamatan Batang Kapas Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan. The theory used in this research is functionalist theory from William Ogburn. Research method used is qualitative approach with descriptive type. Informan taken technique is done by purposive sampling way with 24 people. Data found are primary and secondary form. The data collected by using interviewing technique, observing, and documentation with analysis unit, group. The data is analyzed using Miles and Huberman technique consist of 3 stage; data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion/data verification. Result of the research shows that change of children play can be seen a) by location, b) time, c) form, d) frequency and collectivity. The children at Nagari Koto Nan Duo seem playing more modern games rather the traditional ones. It is proven that the frequency of playing modern game is higher than traditional. It affects children behavior which makes they play individually at home even though play outside they just play with two person only. Another impact is children addicted playing modern game. It influences children’ concentration to study at school. The children are getting lazy and jus t thinking about playing game soon after school. Moreover, it affect an extra budget needed which makes them lie to their parents to get more money for playing game.

Abstract

        Lesson plan is an estimate or projection teachers about the activities that will be undertaken by the teachers and learners, especially in conjunction with the formation of competencies and learning goals achievement. Lesson plan serves as a guide and reference for teachers and students in learning activities in the classroom to be more directed . The statement is found in the field, Lesson plan only serves as a complementary administrative and simply complement the teacher when there are reviews from watchdogs to see fittings team teaching tool . The purpose of this study was to find out the cause of non-performance of the learning activities are planned according to the lesson plan .          To clarify this paper the authors use the theory Vygostky kontruktivisme theory ( knowledge ) . Assume that a person should know means to know something, this means that one can learn something new if it can explain the elements that develop something . So a teacher should know what the lesson plan then able to make and understand what measures will be implemented learning activities in the classroom, if it does not make or do not understand , then the result is the delivery of learning activities appropriate to the Draft .         The type of descriptive qualitative research . Informant selection techniques done by purposive sampling with 17 informants . Methods for collecting data in this study using observation and interviews . Uni analysis in the study is the individual . The analysis performed in this study using the interactive developed by Miles and Huberman .          The results showed that the cause of non-performance in -class learning activities are planned according to the lesson plan is because 1 ) Lesson plan planned by others , 2 ) focus in prioritizing teachers approval of XII grade students , 3 ) Limitations hour lesson , 4 ) Depending on the situation and conditions from a supervisor , 5 ) curriculum changes , 6 ) media learn less , 7 ) resources to learn .

Abstract

Berbagai fenomena perilaku yang tidak sesuai dengan norma banyak terjadi pada remaja, salah satunya adalah balap liar. Balap liar adalah kegiatan beradu cepat atau yang sering disebut juga dengan kebut-kebutan dijalan dan melanggar lallintas serta meresahkan warga. Berdasarkan survay awal yang penulis lakukan di Nagari Sungai Lansek, dimana remaja di Nagari Sungai Lansek melakukan aktivitas balap liar. Wali Nagari Sungai Lansek menyatakan bahwa terdapat banyak pelanggaran yang dilakukan para remaja diantaranya adalah tidak tertibnya remaja tersebut dalam berlalu lintas, karena remaja menggunakan fasilitas jalan raya sebagai ajang balap liar di siang, sore dan di malam hari yakni melakukan aksi kebut-kebutan secara brutal. Oleh karena itu dirumuskan bagaimana upaya yang dilakukan masyarakat dalam mengatasi  kegiatan balap liar di Nagari Sungai Lansek?Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kontrol sosial Hirschi. Adapun penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif yang diartikan sebagai pemahaman apa yang dirasakan orang lain, memahami pola fikir dan sudut pandang orang lain. Informan dalam penelitian ini adalah remaja, Orang tua remaja, masyarakat Nagari Sungai Lansek, tokoh masyarakat, dan pihak yang berwajib dengan menggunakan purposive sampling dan jumlah informan penelitian keseluruhnya adalah 22 orang. Sedangkan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisa data menggunakan model Milles dan Huberman. Upaya yang dilakukan oleh pihak terkait sehubungan dengan adanya balap liar ini diantaranya adalah menahan motor remaja yang terlibat balap liar dan melaporkannya kepada orang tua dan mamak. Adanya balap liar di Nagari Sungai Lansek menimbulkan banyak tanggapan dari warga yang ada di Nagari Sungai Lansek itu sendiri.Tanggapan tersebut yaitu : balap liar dianggap sebagai tindakan tidak mematuhi aturan, dianggap merugikan, dan balap liar dianggap mengganggu ketenangan. Para ahli teori kontrol sosial menilai perilaku penyimpangan adalah konsekuensi logis dari kegagalan seseorang mentaati hukum. Penyimpangan ini terjadi karena kegagalan seseorang mensosialisasikan  dirinya kepada masyarakat untuk bertindak konform terhadap aturan atau tata tertib yang ada.

Abstract

This research is motivated by socialization which is run by his parents in fact running properly. During the father worked in the mining socialize mother who values her children as teach their children the Koran, read the Quran, teaches reading prayers, invite children to pray. Although the father was busy working in the mine, but the father also plays a role in disseminating the values to their children. Therefore, this study aimed to determine how to disseminate the values to children by their parents in the family miners.The approach used is descriptive qualitative approach. Determination of purposive informant done. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The unit of analysis is the family miners. Data analysis method used is descriptive analysis of the data was analyzed according to the interactive model (Interactive Model Of Analysis) Miles & Hubermas.The results showed in general how to disseminate the values to children by their parents in the family miners in Jorong Sariak Taba is seen that parents who work as gold miners disseminate good values to their children and teach their children by bringing material values, parents also teach vital values and spiritual values.
