Abstract

The background of this study is the change in the setting of a thriving village governance in public life and the things that arise in the implementation of village governance, such as the overlapping functions of existing institutions in villages, lack of harmony in the relationship between the institution and the nagari limitations fiscal capacity and villages. The purpose of this study was to clarify the roles and functions of Kerapan Nagari Alam (KAN) Alam Pauh Duo. Formulation of the problem is how the duties and functions of Indigenous KAN Alam Pauh  district of South Solok. The theory used in this study is the structural functional theory proposed by Robet K. Merton. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research.The technique of collecting data through observation , in-depth interviews , and study documentation. Based on the results of this study concluded KAN role and function as an institution of social control in kenagarian look no further, the role of KAN has been replaced by other social institutions such as the police, and prosecutors. People who have problems immediately reported to the police station and no longer ask for advice to the prince or to KAN. The role and function of KAN in the village government obscured by Badan Musyawarah (BAMUS). Some of the factors that hinder the role and function of KAN in Nagari Alam Pauh Duo government offices Adat Nagari is still riding in walinagari office, Human Resources is still low, the lack of clarity and determination of the main tasks, and functions, as well as the issue of asset are unclear and uncertain, and the absence of regulation KAN.

Abstract

The low due to lack of student learning outcomes varied learning model used by the teacher in the learning process . Though many instructional model used , one model of Problem Based Learning therefore, this study was conducted in order to see the significance of the model of Problem Based Learning to the student learning outcomes in subjects high school sociology class XI IPS SMA Semen Padang . This type of research is experimental research . The population in this study were all high school students of class XI IPS Semen Padang, which consists of 3 classes . The sampling technique is done randomly , class XI IPS3 as experimental class and class XI IPS2 as the control class . The instrument used in this study is the final test . Form of the test used is a form of multiple choice test reliability is r_11 = 0.84 . Based on the analysis of data obtained final test average student learning outcomes experimental class was 80.75 higher compared to the control class is 64.69 . Data analysis obtained t_hitung = 4.355 greater than t_tabel = 1.67 . Thus , it can be concluded that the model of Problem Based Learning as a model of learning that provides a positive impact on student learning outcomes .

Abstract

The begin from anyproblem where the writer observes at senior high school 7 sijunjung. One of the problemis about infience of the sociologi subject at senior high school 7 on XI  grade in sijunjung is the teacher of sociology low in giving motivation to the students especity in giving the task. This research purposes to know how good student’s motivation in doing the task in sociology learning at senior high school 7 on XI grade in sijunjung.Kind of  this research use quantitative approach the population is all the learners on XI grade of IPS 2013-2014 sample in taken by using proportional stratified random sampling research. Which is used in this research is quetionaise of the task and motivation.The result of this research shows that the research er found;  1) there is a significant infivence about thetask which is given by the teacher to the learning motivation, with Taccasut > table (11,240) 1,667). The power of relation include haed (r = 0,806) and big of the contribution infience about giving the task by teacher to the learning motivation is 65,0% . giving the task of the students can bee seen from guldeng or confrolling of the teacher. Given stimulation, guiding while the learner wants to work, or worked and notedbythe students itself without helving from the others this case means the task which is given by the teacher can improve students motivation.

Abstract

Thesis examines the gold mining in Nagari Koto Tuo opportunities most people to change the standard of living for the better , giving the new changes in the lives of the people on the other negative impacts on the health hazards . The goal is achieved in this study was to describe : " Socioeconomic Change Gold Miners In Nagari Nagari Koto Tuo District IV District of Sijunjung " . The theory used is Neil Smelser s theory of social change . The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach , which approach intends to make a solid theoretical study . Informants research taken by purposive sampling . Informants in this study consisted of 16 persons , namely village trustees , community leaders , local communities and the people who work in the gold miners . This type of data is divided into words and actions. The words and the person who observed or interviewed the main source. Data collection techniques and tools used were interviews, observation , documentation and data collection tools such as interview guides,books,pens,andmobile phone. These results indicate that : Socioeconomic Change Gold Miners in the District IV Nagari Nagari Koto Tuo District Sijunjung a) . social change b ) . in increasing revenue , c ) . improve the education of children , d ) . increase employment e ) . improve existing facilities and infrastructure in society . f ) . income communities in addition to miners disrupted g ). patterns and peoples lifestyles .

Abstract

This study aimed to describe social control through mating arrested in Nagari Air Bangis               WestPasaman.The approach used is descriptive qualitative approach. Determination of purposive informant done. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The unit of analysis is the individual, kewilayah and time according to the research focus. Data analysis method used is descriptive analysis of the data was analyzed according to the interactive model (Interactive Model OfAnalysis) Miles &Hubermas.The results showed that the mating behavior of control teens arrested in Nagari Air Bangis generally concluded that the mating catch is a sanction given by the villagers Air Bangis against teens who violate the ordinance association, in which the mating process which begins with the arrest here of surveillance , in where the teen initially staked out by youths around , then the arrest is an act of investigating a temporary restraint, then calling parents, teens who are arrested can not be processed without the presence of their parents, the next to marry is a process of settlement of the juveniles arrested for have violated procedures in Nagari Air Bangisassociation .

Abstract

 Factors that affect learning can provide positive support in learning, but can also inhibit the learning process. Barriers that occur impact on learning outcomes of individuals who experience the learning process is not as expected. Difficulties are often experienced would be a very significant barrier to further the learning process, as it can lead to low student achievement. Objectives to be achieved in this study are : to determine the sociological factors on student learning difficulties sociology subjects in class X SMA PGRI 1 Padang. The theory used in this study is the theory of behaviorisme. In behavioristik flow, learning is essentially the formation of associations between sensory impression captured by a tendency to act or the relationship between stimulus and response. This study used a qualitative research approach. This type of research used in this study is descriptive to express concerns about the sociological factors on student learning difficulties sociology subjects. In this study, the determination of informants conducted by purposive sampling technique, in this study, are the students and teachers of class X subjects of sociology, Principal, High School Principal at Vice PGRI 1 Padang. The data of this study is primary data obtained through interviews. The unit of analysis is the group with the analysis of the data comprising the steps of reduction, data presentation / analysis of data, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study are : ( 1 ) Internal factors cause difficulty in studying sociology student from one of the students is, students do not utilize well as learning resources,  read the handbooks are recommended teachers, students therefore difficult to understand the subject matter of sociology. It also comes from a lack of student motivation, due to laziness students in doing the task and answer the questions provided by the teacher about the lesson that has been taught, so that the desired learning outcomes are not achieved properly. ( 2 ) external factors difficulties experienced by students in learning sociology teacher education factor interaction with students is, due to the way the lead teacher in the learning process does not use a variation, which causes saturation partially students to follow the learning process, so that students tend to get bored with the lessons taught teacher.

Abstract

The society in Tapanused of ayam bulek tradition in process of marriage. Reception ayam bulek is usually to do after they are promise each other or the woman marriage come to man’s house. Ayam bulek is response from man’s family side because man’s family give an expensive thing (gold) to the woman’s family side, if the tradition ayam bulek not done by man side, so the man’s family sides will get of bashful to the society. The purpose of research is want to know the society perception about ayam bulek tradition  in mariage by Nagari Tapan. The research is used fenomonology teory by Alfred Schutz. He explain of the human measure will be from a social relation when the human others give a meaning about the form they are done. The research used of a metodology which is kualitative has type descriptive. The result of research in the field show that the society perception about ayam bulek in mariage, ayam bulek is identity for man’s family sides, if the ayam bulek tradition not done by man side, so the  man’s family side, will get of bashful to the society. Ayam bulek as an obligation for both of bride. This agreement to do in order to know about total ayam bulek request from man’s family side, so the woman’s family side can make ayam bulek with the same total. Ayam bulek is one of creativity from the man’s family side, because the total of ayam bulek will give of attention by society.

Abstract

             This research is describe about how to keep child from broken home in Nagari Lubuk Layang Kecamatan Rao Selatan Kabupaten Pasaman, this problem give effect to their child because a mother not only to keep the child, but have character a father for her child. The research problem is how to keep a broken home child in that place. The goals of research is describe keep child from broken home and problems to attend child from broken home. In this research used qualitative approach.Researcher used questioning strategy to get data. The researcher have technique choose informant with purposive sampling, from this technique researcher choose who is informant research can use. Pola Asuh Anak dari Orang Tua Bercerai used theory is Structural Fungsional by Talcott Parsons about society is a sociality, if one of system get problem, so will give effect to other system.            The result of research show parent used permissive method, where is parent give freedom to child, because have broken parent. Other parent found used democratic to keep their child with give clearly rules for act and character a child.            The conclusion in this research is attend permissive form and democratic to their children from broen parent because a parent have less times to stay in home with their children.

Abstract

On the subject of sociology , it still looks low student interest towards learning sociology . From the observation at that time seen the low student interest in learning sociology , it can be seen from the number of students who are noisier when the teacher explains the lesson , if given the opportunity to ask only 1 and 2 students who would ask . This study aims to describe students interest in learning activities sociology . The theory used in this study is the Gestalt theory .This study used a qualitative research case study . In this study , the determination of informants conducted by purposive sampling technique , while the informants in this study is , Principals , School Waka , Sociology Teachers , and Students of class XI IPS 4 on SMA N 1 Pasaman . The data collected in this study is primary data obtained through interviews . The data analysis technique used consists of a reduction phases , data presentation / analysis of data , and drawing conclusions .The results of this study are : 1 ) Interest in learning students views of learning activities most students do not pay attention to pay attention to what is described by the teacher and this is because teachers do not use the materials in the delivery methods vary , more teachers use the lecture method so that students feel bored. 2 ) Interest in learning students views of the activities of hearing , many students are not menedengarkan teachers explanation and this is because teachers in the delivery of learning materials using only a lecture course that many students are doing other activities. 3 ) Interest in student views of reading activities , reading activities students are still considered very low , this is because students are lazy to read the learning materials. 4 ) Interest in student views of activity recorded , in the event Siwa is still much that is not noted this was due to the use of learning methods for students boring teachers , more teachers and students using lecture methods rely on guide books recommended by teachers for learning resources. 5 ) Interest of activity asks students seen , in this activity students are still many who do not want to ask, it is because the teacher only uses the lecture method so that students do not understand what is conveyed by the teacher about the learning material. 6 ) Interest in student views of activities to answer the question , in the event the student is still considered very low , this is because the students do not understand and master the learning material presented by the teacher because the teacher only lectures in front sehinnga many students who do not pay attention. 7 ) Interest in student views of activities making the task , in this activity students being categorized, it is because a lot of students who have made the task of seeing her alone .

Abstract

This thesis observes the deviant behavior of SMA PGRI 4 students in the learning process. One of the National Education Goal contents based on article 3 of law 2003 National Education System is to develop the students’ potential to be faithful and devoted to God Almighty, and to be nice person. But in fact, educational function has not been achieved yet maximally with a number of deviant behavior cases found in SMA PGRI 4 learning process. Based on the matter above, the research problems are formulated as follow: (1) Factors cause students of SMA PGRI 4 have deviant behavior in learning process? (2) The teacher’ efforts in fixing this SMA PGRI 4 Padang students’ deviant behavior in learning process?In this study, the researcher uses the theory of differential association by Edwin H. Sutherland, which the environment is very influential to the students’ behavior. The approach that is used in this research in qualitative research method, which the approach intends to make a solid theoretical research. While the research type is descriptive to provide a detailed description of the reality under research. The informant retrieval of this research is done by using purposive sampling, informants in this research consisted of 22 people. The collected data type are primary data and secondary data. The data collecting technique is done by observing, intensive interviewing, and document studying. The analysis unit in this research is individual, they are student, teacher, and community member. The data analysis uses Miles and Huberman models, they are data collecting, data reducing, data displaying, and concluding.             The result of this study indicates that: (1) The factors cause students have a) the deviant behavior are the classmates influence, b) the teachers’ emotion factor, c) the lack of parents’ attention, d) the environment influence around the school. (2) The efforts that are done by the teachers to fix the students’ deviant behavior are a) giving license card and limiting students out of the classroom, b) giving some pre activities before entering the classroom, c) changing learning method, d) separating students who like to cheat, d) giving motivation and punishment to the students.
