Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi permasalahan pembelajaran di SMA Negeri 1 Lubuk Basung, khususnya untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di kelas XII.IPA.2 SMA Negeri 1 Lubuk Basung melalui penggunaan Pendekatan Problem Solving. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan penggunaan Pendekatan Problem Solving berhasilmeningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, dimana dimana pada siklus I nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh siswa baru mencapai 7,1 dengan ketuntasan klasikal 71% dan pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan mencapai nilai rata-rata 8,31 dengan ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 93%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan Pendekatan Problem Solving dalam pembelajaran PAI berhasil meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas XII.IPA.2 SMA Negeri 1 Lubuk Basung.

Abstract

Student difficulties in understanding the logarithm material is one of the reasons for developing student’s worksheet of Elementary Algebra for logarithm material. Another factor is that there has been no effective teaching materials that facilitate the students in the lecture. The existing reference books only convey information and have not been able to construct knowledge of students, so that they do not understand about the concept. The purpose of this research was to develop a valid student’s worksheet of Elementary Algebra subject in STKIP PGRI, West Sumatra. This research is a research development. Model of development in the research used procedural models for Instructional Development Institute (IDI). Validity was analyzed by the expert of Elementary Algebra. Abstract

Research on the effect of palm oil mill effluent medium on Chroococcus dispersus growth had been done.  The research was an experimental study with complete random design with 8 treatment (sediment and anaerob wastewater with concentration 25%, 50%, 75% and 100%). The growth curve was made based on the value of optical density (OD) measured at a wavelength of 680 nm. Chroococcus dispersus best growth seen at sediment wastewater medium with concentration of 100% and at anaerob wastewater medium with concentration of 75%.

Abstract

Unit secondary education has an important role in helping the success of the students in choosing a school . For the process of implementation of the service is focused on the field of personal development and learning of learners . This study aims to reveal , describe and analyze the efforts of BK teachers prepare students in select schools . This study included descriptive analysis with quantitative approach. 30 samples from 8 school teachers BK SMP Padang selected by purposive sampling technique . Instruments used the Likert scale model . Data were analyzed using simple statistical techniques  (techniques percentage) . Based on the findings of this study concluded efforts BK teachers prepare students in select schools in the category enough . Thus the efforts of teachers needs to be improved BK BK service program and service implementation BK.

Abstract

Textbook is the handbook used by teachers in teaching. In addition, the text book is also used by students as a supporting book in learning activities both in school and outside of school. Textbooks basically have a very important role for teachers and students in the learning process. But in reality, many textbooks are found that do not meet the requirements of many textbooks used in the Senior High School Level.  The researchers took several textbooks compared to the completeness of the material. This research examines the differences of the structure and content of the description text book material of the History learning of Senior High school class X in the process picture changes, facts, concepts and principles in the history of motion. The type of research was a library research, collection techniques and conducting a review of the study of books, literature, records and reports that are related to the problem being solved. Data were taken from the existing instruments in the history textbooks. The results show that the components of change in motion events based on facts concepts and principles includes four components, namely changes in the beginning, development, backward and finished. Completeness of the materials at the eleventh grade history textbook in this research material examined the influence of religion and Hindu-Buddhist culture in Indonesia and the influence of the religion and culture of Islam in Indonesia. From the analysis, it is shown that each textbook has some differences in the completeness of the material on Hindu and Buddhist kingdoms. The book outlines eight royal grants, Yudhisthira, Earth Literacy and Platinum each of the seven kingdoms. While the analysis for the development of each book has its advantages and disadvantages, there is a book which describes the initial process completely and there is not. To evolve from the four aspects of political, social, economic and cultural, one book with another book also has its advantages and disadvantages, so that the backward and end process.

Abstract

phenomenon of the students’ low motivation to get the achievement at school. Self concept have a correlation for creating the students’ potential giftedness to get an achievement in learning. The role of the teachers  in improving the students’ achievement at school in order to improve their learning achievement. This research has purpose to find the self concept and achievement motivation of SMPN Batang Kapas. This research used correlational approach which has purpose to know how is the contribution among the research variables. The population of the research is the students of SMPN Batang Kapas. The amount of the population was 601 students. The sample of this research was 240 students. It had been taken by using simple random sampling technique. The instruments used in the form of scale. The data was analyzed by using descriptive technique and the hypothesis testing was done by using simple regression analysis . The result shows that:  (1)  the self concept is in the enough category, (2) students’ achievement motivation is in the enough category, (3) the contribution of self concept through the students’ achievement motivation is about 14.4%. The results imply that self concept are factors that have contributed to students achievement motivation, but there are many other factors that influence students achievement motivation.

Abstract

Siswa belajar matematika karena takut pada guru bukan atas dorongan keingintahuannya. Sehingga siswa hanya berorentasi pada hasil akhir, bukan pada prosesnya. Agar siswa tertarik mengikuti pembelajaran matematika, maka seharusnya pembelajaran matematika dilaksanakan dengan cara yang menarik, menyenangkan, dan melibatkan siswa secara aktif. Masalah ini jika dibiarkan berlanjut akan berakibat pada hasil belajar yang diperoleh siswa di bawah KKM (< 75). Salah satu cara yang dapat dilakukan oleh guru adalah menerapan Model AKS pada pembelajaran Matematika Kelas V SDN 10 Sungai Sapih kota Padang. Rumusan masalah dari penelitian ini adalah "apakah hasil belajar matematika siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran AKS lebih baik dari pada hasil belajar matematika siswa  yang mengikuti model pembelajaran konvensional?". Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian eksperimen dengan rancangan penelitian adalah Randomized Control Group Only Design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V yang terdaftar pada tahun ajaran 2014/2015 sebanyak empat kelas (161 orang). Dengan teknik pengambilan sampel dengan cara pengundian nomor, diperoleh kelas V.c sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas V.d sebagai kelas kontrol. Pengolahan data hasil tes akhir dilakukan melalui uji hipotesis yang menggunakan uji-t. Setelah dilakukan perhitungan diperoleh thitung > ttabel (2,915 > 1,66), hal ini menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis yang diajukan diterima. Artinya hasil belajar siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model AKS lebih baik dari pada hasil belajar matematika siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model konvensional.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan karakteristik komunikasi peserta didik SMU dan yang terisolir dan populer. Untuk tujuan tersebut digunakan pendekaran kualitatif deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik observasi, sosiometri, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Untuk menguji keabsahan data dilakukan wawancara dengan beberapa orang informan yaitu teman subyek dan guru BK serta pengamatan dan wawancara yang dilakukan oleh peneliti dan beberapa orang pembantu peneliti, sebagai upaya trianggulasi terhadap informasi yang diperoleh. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa keterisolasian dan kepopuleran peserta didik di dalam lingkungan sosialnya terutama di sekolah, tidak terlepas dari peran teman-temannya dan komunikasi peserta didik di dalam kelas: dari semuanya itu hal yang berperan sangat besar adalah keadaan internal peserta didik dalam merespon lingkungan sosialnya.

Abstract

This aim of the research is to analyze the different stock investment risk before and after make acquisition process. The research take 10 company for samples and have 60 days before and 60 days after acquisitions process. The research using the model of beta coefficient (β) and t-test paired sample test. The result of the research showed have the different stock investment risk before and after acquisition process with stock investment risk before acquisitions more than after acquisitions process.
