Abstract

The main purpose of this research is to overcome the problems in the learning of Public Junior High School 1 Lubuk Basung. This research also aims to describe the improvement of student’s learning outcomes through the use of Cooperative Learning Model Type Co-Op-Co-Op in the learning of Social Studies Subject at the grade IX.4. The results show that the use of Cooperative Learning Model Type Co-Op-Co-Op can improve the student learning outcomes. It can be seen from the student’s average grade in the second cycle in which it is higher than the outcomes of the first cycle of learning increasing from 6.4 to 8.1. Thus, the use of Cooperative Learning Model Type Co-Op-Co-Op can improve the student’s learning outcomes in the learning of Social Studies Subject at the grade IX.4

Abstract

attractiveness and accessibility of the facility to the visit of foreign tourists to Aloita Resort in the Mentawai Island regency. The population was all foreign tourists on the time of the research conducted. Samples were 50 respondents; sampling technique was accidental sampling method. The kinds of data used were primary and secondary data. Data were collected by using a questionnaire. The technique used to perform the analysis was an analytical technique known as path analysis. For data processing, the researcher,  uses computer with SPSS version 17:00. The results shows that the attractiveness (X1) significantly affects the decision of foreign tourists to visit. Facilities (X2) significantly affects the foreign tourists to visit and accessibility (X3) significantly affects the decision of foreign tourists to visit.

Abstract

Kemampuan siswa dapat dikembangkan melalui perkuliahan, salah satunya adalah melalui variabel Kalkulus 2. Agar kuliah menjadi lebih maksimal, diperlukan bahan yang dapat mendukung proses perkuliahan. Di Sumatera Barat, Padang, mahasiswa STKIP PGRI hanya mengandalkan satu buku ketika kuliah. Hal ini mengakibatkan motivasi dan minat mahasiswa dalam belajar menjadi rendah. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan bahan kuliah yang dapat membantu memfasilitasi mahasiswa dalam perkuliahan, yaitu sebuah modul. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan modul yang valid, praktis dan efektif dalam mata kuliah Kalkulus 2 di STKIP PGRI Sumatera Barat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan. Modul ini dikembangkan dengan menggunakan model 4D (mendefinisikan, mendesain, mengembangkan, dan menyebarluaskan). Tahap menyebarluaskan tidak dilakukan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan validasi dan pengujian modul. Modul divalidasi oleh Dosen dan Ahli Kalkulus 2, serta Dosen Bahasa Indonesia. Pengujian dilakukan pada mahasiswa Pendidikan Matematika STKIP PGRI Sumatera Barat untuk mengetahui praktikalitas dan efektivitas dari modul tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modul sudah valid (termasuk isi dan validitas konstruksi) dari hasil penilaian validator. Selanjutnya, penggunaan modul di kuliah tidak mengalami hambatan yang berarti. Buku ini adalah kerja praktek yang sesuai dengan mahasiswa dan Dosen dan modul ini sudah efektif. Hal ini terlihat dari aktivitas dan motivasi mahasiswa yang tinggi untuk belajar setelah kuliah.

Abstract

Regional autonomy is the right, authority, and duties of the autonomous regions to organize and manage their own affairs and interests of local communities in accordance with the legislation. The purpose of regional autonomy under Law no. 5 1975 is to allow the relevant area to control and manage their own households to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of government administration in the context of service to the community and implementation. Increase the effectiveness and efficiency of regional government, especially in the implementation of development and service to the community and to improve pembinanan political stability and national unity.

Abstract

The function of BAMUS is to receive people’s aspiration and to be Wali Nagari’s companion in administering Nagari. BAMUS and Wali Nagari are Nagari’s officials who are able to guide and prosper Nagari’s people. Institute of Nagari’s government is stated on Peraturan Daerah Kabuten Agam number 12, 2007 which is about Nagari’s government. PERDA must regulate the organizing of Nagari, in contrary it produces some overlapping interests between BAMUS and Wali Nagari. This problem directs the researcher to conduct a research about the authority of BAMUS in administering Nagari at Kabupaten Agam. The finding of this research prove that it is rarely for BAMUS to corporate with Wali Nagari in organizing the governmence. It is happen because a conflict which is shown that both BAMUS and Wali Nagari fell that they have same opportunity in deciding systems and programs for Nagari.

Abstract

Cassava is tropical plants, productive and easily cultivated so it is expected to be one of the solutions to improve Indonesia's national food security. Mocaf is fermented cassava flour products using microorganisms. Mocaf is expected to replace the use of wheat flour which its necessity is escalated through the ages, while the area of wheat as a raw material is not fitted the climate of Indonesia. This research performed some sort of branded food yeast for producing Mocaf, taken for instance Fermipan, Saf-Instant yeast, tempe raprima yeast, tapai yeast, and unbranded bread yeast. It also would be analyzed the effect of soaking cassava with salt before fermentation, to nutrients generated by Mocaf. The objective of this research was knowing the types of yeast and fermentation process that is best in improving the nutritional quality of Mocaf. The best produced Mocaf in this research was made from fermented Mocaf using tapai yeast which was soaked with salt. It produced the highest level of protein i.e 40.860%, with low water levels i.e 6.640 %.

Abstract

Algebra structure is a branch of abstract mathematics, which is generally more difficult than the other more concrete branches of mathematics. The on going problems in the subject of  Algebra structure is the students do not understand about the concept of algebra structures, so that students have difficulty in using theories or theorems in evidence. In addition, another cause is the algebra structure of the teaching material is too abstract, so that students are less motivated to read supporting books and it causes low student activities. There may be one way to improve the motivation, activity and learning outcomes of students like using the Student Worksheet (MFIs). The purpose of this research was to develop an effective MFI Guided on the subject of Algebraic Structures in STKIP PGRI West Sumatra. This type of research was a developmental research. This research used 4-D models composed of 4 phases: definition phase (define), the design (design), development (develop) and spread (disseminate). In the deployment phase of the trial is limited to classes only. Effectiveness was analyzed through the observation student activity during lectures, student motivation by providing motivation questionnaire after using Guided MFI and student outcomes. Data analysis was analyzed descriptively with the results after using Guided MFIs in the subject of Algebra structure can enhance the activity, motivation and learning outcomes of students. The level of student mastery learning outcomes is more than 68%. It means that MFI Guided is effective in improving the student learning outcomes. The results show that the MFIs Guided on the subject of Algebra Structure developed has been effectively used as a teaching material for students.

Abstract

According to educational development at this time, education not only transfer of knowledge for student but more than that. Education is to create a generation which have a good abilities, good capabilities and good character, in other word create the cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspect. The phenomena of education at this time, found that proccess of education is still far from build a affective and character of student. Until now a government program of education “education with a character” still not have a product which suitable with the term of program. Also a curriculum of education still focus to create abilities in cognitive student. So the questions is, how to educate the student about affective capabilities? And is this aspect of psychology in education proccess, will build a character of student? The answers of that questions will discribe using perspective of psychology; social cognitive theory.

Abstract

Pembelajaran tidak bisa dipisahkan dari kegiatan penilaian terhadap peserta didik. Untuk memastikan ketercapaian tujuan pembelajaran, guru perlu memberikan penilaian kepada siswa. Dalam melakukan penilaian, guru perlu menggunakan instrumen penilaian yang otentik. Dimana penilaian dilakukan dengan kondisi nyata siswa. Dalam hal ini guru perlu menilai siswa pada domain afektif, kognitif dan psikomotor. Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang bagaimana analisis kebutuhan guru dan siswa terhadap pola assessment yang dilakukan di sekolah. Dari data yang diperoleh tergambar bahwa guru masih membutuhkan panduan untuk mengembangkan instrumen penilaian yang otentik dalam pembelajaran. Hal ini terlihat dari angket yang sebarkan kepada siswa dan guru. Dari analisa data yang diperoleh, Persepsi guru terhadap pengajaran bahasa Inggris adalah 85,25. Keinginan guru untuk meningkatkan pengajaran bahasa Inggris 82,83. Keinginan guru untuk meningkatkan potensi mengajar 83,15. Pengalaman guru dalam mengembangkan instrumen penilaian 67,59. Secara keseluruhan, persepsi guru tentag pengajaran sangat bagus, namun pengalaman guru dalam mengembagkan instrumen penilaian yang otentik masih minim. Sementara itu hasil analisis kebutuhan dari siswa diperoleh data sebagai berikut. Persepsi siswa tentang pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris 85,5. Pengalaman siswa dalam menggunakan Bahasa Inggris dalam komunikasi 67. Perasaan siswa sewaktu mengikuti pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris 80,08. Perasaan dan pengalaman siswa dalam proses penilaian 73,99. Dari data tersebut jelaslah bahwa persepsi siswa tentang pengajaran bahasa Inggris cukup bagus, namun pengalaman tentang penggunaan bahasa Inggris dan penilaian yang dilakukan masih dikategorikan masih rendah. Melihat hasil dari analisis kebutuhan guru dan siswa tersebut, perlu adanya studi tentang pengembangkan instrument penilaian yang otentik berdasarkan teori dan praktis sehingga bisa digunakan oleh guru di sekolah dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Unit secondary education has an important role in helping the success of the students in choosing a school . For the process of implementation of the service is focused on the field of personal development and learning of learners . This study aims to reveal , describe and analyze the efforts of BK teachers prepare students in select schools . This study included descriptive analysis with quantitative approach. 30 samples from 8 school teachers BK SMP Padang selected by purposive sampling technique . Instruments used the Likert scale model . Data were analyzed using simple statistical techniques  (techniques percentage) . Based on the findings of this study concluded efforts BK teachers prepare students in select schools in the category enough . Thus the efforts of teachers needs to be improved BK BK service program and service implementation BK.
