Abstract

Abstract; This written research and study about the verses that have close relationship with intelligence/interpersonal intelligence or humanistic social intelligence in Quran. That matter because in fact in Quran there are so many verses that showed/point out about the importance even the duty of human to have social intelligence, not only intelligence in mind (mind intelligence). Also in fact the verses that interpersonal intelligence is very needed and have active role to expand the psychology of Islamic education that have close relationship with the matter of teaching social education. So suitable/proper if this research eventually to developing deeply and wide by researcher of writer furthermore with the result the big contribution of knowledge.

Abstract

Abstract : Generally Madrasah has weak competitiveness in many sectors. One of them is the availability and management of human resources that is less optimal. This has led to the low professionalism of human resources who manage educationinstitutions of Madrasah in Indonesia. As a result, the quality of Madrasah is still left behind by other public educational institutions. Some efforts to achieve a qualified Madrasah especially in terms of availability of professional human resources have been experiencing significant constraints, so that the level of public and government appreciation is relatively less. To improve the performance of Madrasah which is currently underestimated compared to the public schools, it is suggested to implement Total Quality Management (TQM) simultaneously. The application of TQM in Madrasah as Islamic education institution is obviously important to improve and maintain the quality of Madrasah. The implementation of human resourcemanagement at Madrasah is very effective in managing the teachers and education staffs in establishing and maintaining the quality of institutions. This is due to the fact that human factor (teacher and education staff) is the most strategic element in the management of Madrasah as Islamic educational institutions.

Abstract

Abstract: Along with the change of educational management paradigm from centralized to decentralized system, every school is given a wide range of opportunities to establish and develop its own potential resources to improve the quality of education. As part of the national education system, Madrasah is inevitably demanded to transform itself into a better quality in response to the aforementioned change in order to be able to compete with public schools. Hence, the managers of Madrasah or Islamic schools must be aware that the power-based approach that they have employed is not relevant anymore to cope with the needs of the rapid change in our educational system. For this reason, it is essential to accommodate a myriad of constructive ideas from various parties for the improvement of Madrasah. In accord to this, Madrasah-based or Islamic-based school management is obviously required with regard to the professionalism and contextual-rational paradigm by applying the bottom-up model in deciding the policies. Besides, human resources management should also be adjusted professionally basing on the academic competency standards with the restriction of personal interest. Furthermore, it requires the development of sustainable curriculum so as to adjust the improvement of science and technology.

Abstract

Abstract: Criticism and alternative education offered by Paulo Freire is very interesting to be used to analyze the problems of education in Indonesia. It must be admitted that the context behind the controversial issue of those educational thought is different from that of Indonesian, however, it must be very suitable. According to Paulo Freire, there should be no dichotomy between the goals of education and educational ways. The goal, the transformation that frees individual to be a real person, should be manifested in the extent to how education must be implemented. The purpose of exemption cannot be separated with the path that frees. In addition, Freires educational theory remains significant in terms of its role in which education should bring up not only the understanding of the world, but also the transformation of the world. On the other hands, Indonesian national leaders, Ki Hajar Dewantara also has inherited a very important philosophy in our national education, that is ing ngarso sung tulodo, ing madyo mangun karso, tut wuri handayani which means that the front is setting as a good model, the middle is inspiring and in the back provides support.

Abstract

Abstract: This research was aimed to reveal the religious inclusivism contents on Islamic Education subject taught at senior high school level, learning model of Islamic Religious Education is taught in secondary education pursue the development of tolerance and religious inclusivism on the learners and the teachers and instructional materials provide inspire for learners to develop attitudes of tolerance and religious inclusivism.            Type of research is qualitative research methods. Subjects Research and Sources of Data in this study is the teachers of Islamic education on SMAN 4 Surakarta.  Setting in this study took place in Surakarta, who have a variety of Islamic dynamics that are considered to be moderate to radical. Data collection techniques used were: In-depth Interviews, participant observation, and documentation. The validity of data used in this research are triangulation methods and sources. The data analysis was done by following the interactive model analysis of  Miles and Huberman consisting of collecting the data, reducing the data, describing the data, and making conclusion and verification.              Result of the research showed that the content of religious tolerance and inclusivism is taught in class XI semester 1 and 2 are expressly or directly relate to other religions or indirectly, the model simulation in concept (analysis of the teaching program) exists, but not operationalized at the level of material and learning . But in the great Day of Islam, students are encouraged to appreciate the opinions of others and the inspiration to develop attitudes of tolerance and religious inklusifisme contained in textbooks through the verses of the nuances of this, such as Surat al-Baqara verse 285 and Surah Al Hujurat paragraph 13.

Abstract

Abstract: Transmission of knowledge through Wasilah in Sufi education paradigm has led students to be human beings who have impeccable character. Sufi education seeks to integrate the common mind, the heart and the actualization of the common mind and heart in man towards the purification of the soul. There are at least three stages taught by educators in building students’ character, the first stage, the seeker (al-murid) is a person who has sets of awareness and belief as a creature of God as creator. The second is musafir (al-sair), a servant of the upright walk with God. The last stage is al-wasil, a servant who attains perfect knowledge of God. The education that is now unfolding should refer to the objectives and philosophy of Sufi essential educational goals. The foundation listed in the Law on National Education System (UUSPN) should not only be an ideal setting and the plain theory, but also come in the realm of actualization and realization that can shape the character of each individual learner. Meaningful education that contains educational value should be the priority in the learning process. This can be done by activating the three basic domains in education such as cognitive, affective and psychomotor.

Abstract

Abstract: The character is a subject of an education that is very interesting and always discussed by educators in educational practice today. The Quran as an educational book also teaches the importance of both; morality education (aqidah) and character education (akhlaq), which are an integral and inseparable. This shows the importance of education and character building in every educational process at all levels. Despite the struggle between good characters and bad characters in every human being, but basically a good character can be formed through the soul treatment, habituation of right conduct, exemplary and good social environment. The teachers are demanded to treat a pupil’s soul and habituation right conduct so that the pupils have a good character. Besides a good social environment, the more important in order to build the character is the teacher should be an exemplary model for the surrounding community. Rosululloh is the best role model for anyone who wants to follow his character in order to be a person who has a noble character. ملخص: إن التربية الأخلاقية موضوع تربوي جذّاب يناقشها المربون الآن تطبيقيا. والقران ككتاب تربوي يعلّمنا شيئين، هما التربية العقدية والتربية الأخلاقية وهما شيئ واحد لا يتجزأ. دل هذا على أهمية التربية وبناء الأخلاق في جميع مستويات العملية التربوية. ومهما هناك صراع بين الأخلاق الكريمة والأخلاق الذميمة في الحياة، فإن الأخلاق الكريمة يمكن تكوينها عن طريق التعامل النفسي، وتعويد أفضل الأعمال، وبالمثال والبيئة الاجتماعية الجيدة. ويرجى أن يعامل المدرس طلابه نفسيا وأن يعوّدهم فعل الخيرات ليكون لهم أخلاق كريمة. بجانب البيئة الحسنة، والأهم من ذلك أن يكون المدرس قدوة في هذا التكوين في مجتمعه. والرسول محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم خير مثال لجميع الناس في الالتزام بالأخلاق الكريمة.  Keywords: Pendidikan karakter, kebiasaan, keteladanan

Abstract

Abstract: Existence of Islamic education have big role in the education history at Indonesia, but the role still haven’t full independence it’s political and also its implementation. This matter look by law that formal Islamic education which known by government is Islamic education. Known education is madrasah which have been registered through MAPENDA under Kemenag. Islamic Boarding School still in confession of Moslem society alone which only accepted by Moslem society itself. Therefore Islam people fight not only conducting education but also overall of financing side, education political and independence. Thereby Islamic education require to be improved again by entire all stakeholder Moslem society for the sake of Islamic education as same as Islam aspiration. Appearance of public education system and Islamic education are two sides cannot separate each other in national education system, both related and equipping each other. In the one side the aim of national education is to develop student’s potency in order to become god-fearing and religious, good manner, healthy, knowable and expected to be democratic citizen and responsible.ملخص: أسهم التربية الإسلامية اسهاما كبيرا في تاريخ التربية الإسلامية في إندونيسيا. لكنّ وجودها لم يُعط لها الاستقلالية التامة سياسيا وتطبيقيا. وهذا يظهر قانونيا رسميا أن التربية الإسلامية المعترفة لدى الحكومة هي التربية المتميزة بالتعاليم الإسلامية، وهي المدارس الإسلامية المسجلة في مجلس التربية الأساسية في وزارة الشؤون الدينية. أما البسنترينات فهي معترفة لدى المجتمع المسلم أنفسهم. لذا فإن جهاد المسلمين في التربية لا يكون فقط  في تطبيق التربية فحسب لكنه في جميع الجوانب، التكاليف والسياسة التربوية والاستقلالية. بهذا لابد من ترقية التربية الإسلامية الموجودة بمشاركة جميع الشخصيات في المجتمع المسلم لتكون التربية الإسلامية موافقة بما يريده الإسلام. فظهور النظام التربوي العام والنظام التربوي الإسلامي في النظام التربوي الإندونيسي لا يمكن فصلهما، لأنهما مرتبطان ولكل خصائصه ومميزاته المتكاملتان. في جانب أن أهداف التربية الوطنية هي تنمية قدرات التلاميذ ليكونوا أناسا مؤمنين بالله ومتقين، ومتخلقين بأخلاق كريمة، أصحّاء جسميا ولهم علوم ويرجى أن يكونوا مواطنين أمناء وديمقراطيين.   Keywords: Pendidikan Islam, pesantren, madrasah.

Abstract

Abstract: A long time ago Muslim people used to achieve their golden ages for many centuries. The glory of civilization was accomplished in every aspect of life. That achievement was obtained because the leaders of Muslim society at that time were very responsible for their people and religion. They optimally created a large number of good environments and encouraged their people to do intellectual activities. Muslim people did not only gain their golden ages but also gave a significant contribution to the West so that the western people could carry out their renaissance and move themselves from the dark ages. Their awakening was attained well after they were successful to transfer knowledge from Muslim world to the west through intensive translation activities duringIslamic government in Spain and Sicillia, as well as the crusades periode. Therefore,the Muslim people must revitalize their serious ijtihad activities continually to regain their intellectual supremacy and lead the world civilization again.

Abstract

Abstract: A habit-forming activity of Tadarus in SMP N 8 Yogyakarta is an essential and integral part of other activities to build noble characters among students, such as prayers,praying together, living clean, discipline, class duty, flag ceremonies and charity work. Having regular activity of Tadarus in public school attracts many attentions to study it in greater depth. By employing naturalistic qualitative approach, this research was aimed to reveal the background and implementation of Tadarus and its effectiveness as a mean ofstudents’ morals building.The results showed that, firstly Tadarus was held regularly every morning about 15 minutes before the first period. The school principal was in charge of the activity, while the religion teacher functioned as a coordinator to run the program helped by all teachers of SMP N 8 Yogyakarta. Secondly, Tadarus al - Qur`an was proven effective to build students’ morals. The effectiveness could be seen from several aspects, such as: 1) aspect of the duty and function, in which the teacher had taken the roles as a supervisor and guide on the process of activities, in other hand, students showed responsibility to carryout the activities seriously, 2) planning/ program, Tadarus became an integral part of school activities that had been well-prepared and organized systematically, 3) provisions/rules, it had been conducted by using well-organized techniques, and 4) aspect of goals, the ultimate objective of Tadarus had been achieved that was equipping students with a commendable character and far from despicable character.
