Abstract

Abstract: The advancement of Information and Communications Technology has led to the modernization of education especially in Islamic boarding school. Modernization of education in Islamic boarding school is one of ways to counter the negative assumption of the society who think that it is just as traditional educational institution. Modernization of education is not only aimed at creating excellent Islamic aspiring cadres, but also purposed to create great scholars who can nurture and develop the nation and society. One of modernization forms is by using information communication technology (ICT) in educational process. The use of ICT has raised the concept of e-Islamic boarding school. It provides a lot of benefits for the students, teachers, and school principle to increase the quality of process and outcome of learning, teaching practice, and management of educational program. Beside that, the integration of ICT in the educational system has improved the quality of education and eased to get the propagation purposes. The positive wash back of the integration of ICT in educational process is that it encourages the acceleration of computer literacy on our society.

Abstract

Abstrak: Tindak tutur sangat penting dalam sebuah percakapan. Penelitian ini mengkaji tindak tutur dari ketiga pemeran utama sebuah film yang berjudul Pearl Harbor. Teori yang digunakan adalah teorinya Austin (1962) yang membagi tindak tutur menjadi tiga jenis, yaitu: tindak locutionary, tindak illocutionary, dan tindak perlocutionary. Data dibagi atas dialog-dialog berdasarkan scene yang ada dalam film, kemudian diidentifikasi tindak tutur yang terkandung dalam ujaran  para pemeran utama dalam film tersebut. Selanjutnya diklasifikasikan berdasarkan jenisnya. Hasil analisis, ditemukan bahwa ketiga pemeran utama tersebut menggunggunakan ketiga jenis tindak tutur. Hasil tindak locutionary menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar yang digunakan oleh ketiga pemeran utama adalah kalimat deklaratif yaitu sebamyak 60.19%. hasil dari tindak illocutionary menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar yang digunakan adalah assertive yaitu sebanyak 40.79%. dan hasil yang terakhir adalah tindak perlocutionary, menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh yang peling besar adalah “meminta pendengar untuk melakukan sesuatu” yaitu sebanyak 32 ujaran dari 55 dialog yang ada.

Abstract

Abstract: An issue of character education in Indonesia has been widely discussed since the character education movement launched on May 2, 2010. Character education has become an important part of the national education system and become preventive cure on various social ills. Islamic education has some appropriate terminologies used in the character learning approach, such as: tilâwah, ta’lîm’, tarbiyah, ta’dîb, tazkiyah dan tadlrîb. Recitations (tilâwahi) is related to the ability to read; ta’lim related to the development of intelligence (intellectual quotient); tarbiyah regarding care and affection instinctively, tadib associated with the development of emotional intelligence (emotional quotient); tazkiyah related to the development of spiritual intelligence (spiritual quotient), and tadlrib associated with physical intelligence or skills (physical quotient or adversity quotient). The integration of character education in all subjects at the school is regarded as one way to improve the competence of cognitive, affective and psychomotor of learners equally. This study discusses the system of Islamic boarding schools with the characteristics, clerics, mosques and dormitories to be an alternative solution to implement character education in such effective, consistent and sustainable ways. The system of Pesantren will optimize the educators role as an educator, conservator, innovators, transformers, organizers and all stakeholders of madrasah so that its value or characters can be internalized and implemented by students optimally.

Abstract

Abstrak: Karya sastra merupakan sebuah cerminan dari era tertentu, karena penulis sering menggambarkan kondisi-kondisi dan fenomena-fenomena melalui karya sastra. Salah satu cara untuk mengetahui cerminan tersebut adalah dengan melihat atau meneliti setting atau latar belakangnya. Setting dari drama The Glass Menagerie karya Tennesse William adalah St. Louis yang merupakan kota terbesar kedua di Missouri yang dulunya adalah sebuah negara di bagian selatan yang menjadi tempat perbudakan. Salah satu tokoh utama di dalam cerita ini adalah Amanda Wingfield, seorang ibu yang dulunya adalah seorang majikan dari beberapa budak. Amanda menganggap dirinya sebagai seorang aristokrat atau kalangan kelas tinggi tetapi para generasi mudanya yang diwakili oleh anak-anak Amanda, menunjukkan sifat yang berbeda dari generasi Amanda. Ini menunjukkan bahwa Amanda tidak selamanya bisa bertahan dengan sifatnya itu yaitu berhenti bermimpi dan berkhayal tentang keglamouran masa lalunya. Lebih lanjut berarti juga untuk berhenti dari tradisi Amerika Selatan yang bersifat aristokratik.

Abstract

Abstract: Korupsi di Indonesia begitu kuat pada setiap lini kehidupan. Beberapa usaha telah dilakukan untuk menghapus kejahatan yang luar biasa namun hasilnya tidak memuaskan. Ulama sebagai salah satu tokoh berpengaruh dalam masyarakatdiharapkan memberikan sumbangan untuk menghapus korupsi. Bagaimanapun usaha ini tidak optimal karena pesantren sebagai lembaga yang mencetak ulama tidak cukup untuk masalah-masalah sosial. Hal ini disebabkan si stem pendidikan pesantren tidak dapat mendorong untuk aspek kognitif verbal. Untuk itu, rekonstruksi sistem pendidikan pesantren sangat dibutuhkan. Langkah-langkah yang dapat diterapkanadalah mengajarkan pendidikan anti korupsi di pesantren, menerapkan metode transformasi kritis dalam pembelajaran, membangun lembaga yang memperhatikan pada masalah korupsi, dan membangun jaringan dengan lembaga lain khususnya untuk pemegang kendali dan pemegang keputusan. Abstract

Abstract: The variety of life challenge in the future and study result not yet showed by student, require government to innovate education system through curriculum change which then recognized with curriculum 2013. One of typical curriculum 2013, in course using of scientific approach for all of subject including Islamic education in madrasa. Though the truth of knowledge Islamic education in madrasa coming from non-scientific truth which refused in scientific approach system. This study about scientific approach implementation at Islamic education in madrasah. Approach implementation of Islamic education at madrasah besides giving attention to science method in general, educator have to pay attention at several things in order to optimal learning. Several things which must get attention by educator are science approach, do not eliminate the truth of dogmatic to the truth of empiric, the importance of theme integration which the truth of dogmatic with pure science, repeat description about competition standard of Islamic education at madrasa, the importance of creativity development and educator innovation in learning process. ملخص: تنوّع تحديات حياة الناس الإندونيسيين في المستقبل وظاهرة نتائج التعلم السيئة لدى الطلاب اقتضت الحكومة لتجديد النظام التربوي بتغيير المنهج الدراسي، ويسمى الجديد بالمنهج الدراسي 2013. ومن مميزات هذا المنهج الجديد هو استعمال المدخل العلمي في تدريس جميع المواد في المدارس وفيها تعليم مادة التربية الإسلامية في المدارس الإسلامية، مع أن صحة المعارف في مادة التربية الإسلامية اعتمد كثيرا على الصحة غير العلمية المطرودة في نظام المدخل العلمي. بحثت هذه المقالة في تطبيق المدخل العلمي في مادة التربية الإسلامية في المدارس الإسلامية. في تطبيق المدخل العلمي في مادة التربية الإسلامية في المدارس الإسلامية بجانب الاهتمام بالقواعد العلمية عامة، على المدرس أن يهتم ببعض الأمور ليسير التدريس سيرا جميلا. وهذه الأمور هي أن المدخل العلمي لا ينقص أو لا يزيل الصحة العقدية إلي الصحة الامبيريسية، وأهمية الجمع بين الموضوع الذى له صحة عقدية وبين العلمية البحتة، وإعادة العرض عن معيار الكفاءات في مادة التربية الإسلامية في المدارس الإسلامية، وأهمية تنمية مهارات المدرس وكفاءاته وتجديداته في عملية التعليم. Keyword: Pendekatan saintifik, pelajaran PAI, madrasah

Abstract; in the growth of Islamic Boarding School, Islamic Boarding School leadership shall no longer apply single leadership pattern. Islamic Boarding School organization developed in the legal form of institution. Islamic Boarding School Organizational toward impersonal without lessening role of kyai as highest leader, with leadership like that, Islamic Boarding School become one of the modern education institute. Islamic Boarding School leadership shall no longer apply single leadership pattern but in the form of legal form of institution. With leadership like that, Islamic Boarding School become one of the modern education institute. Learning Organization is appliance to develop quality institution or organization. Every organizational member require to develop its ability continually for future. Applying of study organization conducted because organization have core value to improve strategic ability for the process of action repair, improve knowledge and skilled its member. Thereby, Continuity of Islamic Boarding School exist finally shall no longer depend on someone as single leader a kyai, but have rounded into a working team. This matter represent good growth for continuity of Islamic Boarding School. ملخص: طبقا لنموّ المعاهد (البسانترين) فإن الرئاسة فيها ليست رئاسة واحدة. تنظّم منظمة المعهد في شكل المؤسسة ، واتجه إلى الرئاسة الجماعية  لكن دون أن يقلل دور كياهي فيه كالرئيس الأول فيه، فبهذا يصبح المعهد مؤسسة تربوية متقدّمة. و  Learning organization   هو الوسيلة لبناء المنظمة أو المؤسسة المتقدمة. وكل من أعضاء هذه المنظمة لابد أن تنمّى كفاءاته لأجل الإصلاح في المستقبل. ويطبق تنسيق التعليم لأن المنظمة لها القيمة لتنمية الكفاءات الاستيراتيجية لعملية إصلاح العمل، وترقية المعلومات والكفاءات لكل أعضاء المنظمة. بهذا لا يكون وجود المعهد معلق بوجود الرئيس الوحيد (كياهي) لكنه أصبح فرقة العمل. وهذا واقع جميل ومقنع لبقاء المعهد في المستقبل.Keyword: Pembelajaran, organisasi, pesantren dan era global.

Abstract

Abstract: Home schooling is the education model in which the family decides to take their own responsibility for the education of children using the premises as a home base education. Nowadays, homeschooling becomes a viable alternative option for particular group of society as they realize that the actual pattern of formal education in Indonesia has not touched yet the substance of the real needs of globalization challenges that must be addressed positively by learners to prepare the required competence they should have in accordance with their future job. There are some supporting factors that contribute to the implementation of homeschooling education in building Islamic character education, such as high motivation in learning, sincerity of teachers, parent support and adequate learning facilities. Conversely, there are some factors that might be hindered, such as the public scorn, less conducive place, and less favored by regular schools.

Abstract

Abstract: Education is possibly to have people attain the perfection of life both in their relationship with God, fellow human beings and nature. A well relationship is only possible if people have a balance between their orientation in the world and in the hereafter. Therefore, in order to achieve the aforementioned objective, they should have adequate religious education and general equally through educational institutions. One of the Islamic educational institutions is a dormitory or boarding school where students (Islamic pupils) learn to improve the Islamic religion. Education on Islamic educational institutions also aims to establish a generation of believers-Muslim virtuous, health, broad-minded, and social, rise intelligent scholars who have equal devotions and thought, as well as establish nationalism of Indonesian citizen who have a faithful and pious to Allah Almighty. In general, Islamic educational institutions are classified into three categories: a) traditional pesantren (Salaf), which still retains the traditional teaching methods and teaching materials with classic books (yellow book), b) modern pesantren (khalaf), which seeks to fully integrate the classical and the current school and university system, and 3) semi salaf and khalaf Islamic schools who defend the teaching of classical Islamic books, as well as open public educational institutions (formal or non-formal education).
