Abstract

Teologi Pembebasan dalam konteks pemikiran Islam kontemporer mencuat kepermukaan sebagai sebuah keniscayaan sejarah. Paradigma ini muncul seiring denganadanya fenomena sosial yang berupa keterbelakangan, ketinggalan, kemiskinan,ketidakadilan dan kebodohan masyarakat Islam dibandingkan dengan masyarakatnon Islam. Banyak pemikir Islam kontemporer merasa gelisah dan berusaha mencaripenyelesaian atas realitas yang dihadapi masyarakat Islam tersebut. Asghar AliEngineer salah seorang pemikir Islam kontemporer, dan sebagai pelopor yangmenawarkan paradigma pembebasan ke dalam teologi, yang ditransformasikanmenjadi tiga konsep kerangka praksis, yaitu tauhid, iman dan jihad.

Abstract

Ushuluddin is a fundamental root of Islamic sciences. Unfortunately, in its development, Ushuluddin as a scientificthing is considered irrelevant to answer society problems. It will be understood Ushuluddin just taught religious doctrineexclusively without communicating it to social problems now. Ushuluddin basically is built based on the spirit of faith,Islam, and ihsan through philosophical approach is expected to further enrich Ushuluddin science itself, which in turnis the Ushuluddin will be able to respond to the challenges of modernity. Ushuluddin Faculty as a specific place tolearn Ushuluddin sciences is encouraged to contribute in Islamic development, especially in Islamic thinking. Althoughthe faculty does not have a lot of students, but those who enter Ushuluddin must have excellent academic ability andexpertise of religion above the average, in addition of course good morals. After all, this writing discussed aboutIslamic philosophical approach in developing Ushuluddin sciences.

Abstract

This paper compared the tought of al-Asma al-Husna by H. Husin Qader and H.M. Zurkani Jahja. There are differences in the tought of the two figures in the delivery of the words of al-Asma al-Husna written in their work. H. Husin Qaderi in his book ‘Senjata Mukmin’ (the Faithful’s weapon) and H.M. Zurkani Jahja in his book ‘99 jalan menuju Tuhan’ (99 ways of finding the God). The findings of this study is H. Husin Qaderi thought about al-Asma al-Husna that shows God’s action is the dominant to the practical prayer with ‘zikir’, it is appropriate approach to Sufism that he had as well as the community needs are preaching at that time. H. M. Zurkani Jahja told about al-Asma al-Husna that shows God’s action is the dominant to the moral and spiritual implications, the Sufism approach that he used in accordance with al-Ghazali in his ‘al- Maqsâd. Zurkani used simple and easy explanation, it is because he wrote al-Asma al-Husna in a tabloid then booked, his expectation was the people to behave like the personality of God limited his ability. There are differences of tought about al-Asma al-Husna showing the actions of God according to both of them, theirdifference lies in the God’s blessings on His servants. Qaderi more closed, while Zurkani seems more open to God’s faithful servant and vice versa to get God’s blessings.

Abstract

The methodology of kalam in Islamic thought was born and developed by islamic experts as an attempt to translatethe values of universality al-Quran and al-Hadith. Here, they expressed his views of kalam, then maintained itthrough rational-logical argument, which is adapted to the circumstances age. The methodology of classical kalamthinking was the answers to the problems of kalam in passed time, which can be identified as from political strife, andphilosophical mindset, especially for flow of kalam which have relation with the Greek philosophical thought, and it’stheocentric oriented. While the methodology of kalam contemporary thought have in touch with contemporary Westernphilosophical thought today, its presence is not merely an attempt apoligetik defending God, but that is more anthropocentricexpected to help, overcome and solve the problems of society today.

Abstract

Study of fiqh hadith Sharh Hadith is one of interested topic to discuss. Study of fiqh al-Hadith is a multidisciplinary field of study that involves almost all branches of hadith disciplines, involving sanad sciences, Rijal al-Hadith sciences, as well as matn sciences. The science is in its infancy still simple, then grow gradually and extends to become an independent branch of science known as Sharh Hadith al-hadith or fiqh.

Abstract

Salafi is one of Islamic movement which have spread around the world. This movement initiates to purify Islamic doctrine from what it called bid’ah. It has been currently in South Kalimantan for several years. In fact, the movementhas several places that be the center of its teaching. Data showed that Ustadz Aiman and his brother introduce it at the first in 2001. Since that time, Salafi has developed and has had many followers. In several big cities of South Kalimantan district, such as Banjarmasin, Martapura, and Barabai, Salafi built some mosques and used it as its learning and teaching center. This writing discussed about the development of Salafi movement in South Kalimantan. It will be reviewed about Salafi’s methods in introducing and teaching its doctrine to the people of South Kalimantan.

Abstract

Historically, the process of tadwîn was through by the phases of a long and complex historical and colored many controversies. The controversy intensified when considering stream factor in it. Three traditional currents in Islam, Ahl al - Sunnah wa al - Jamaah, Shiites, and Kharijites, proved to have a history of their own tadwîn traditions were different from each other. Concurrently with the tadwîn process of hadith, the scholars also put its methodological tools. Methodological tools that in turn give effect to other disciplines, including Islamic historiography. This study tried to discover more about the dynamics that occured in the tadwîn tradition process and to what extent it impacted to the Islamic historiography. Through the method of historical - comparative historical or combined with Usul al - hadîts, this study revealead that the hadith tadwîn basically been going on since the period of the Prophet and continued in subsequent periods until finally composed " Six Major Hadith Compilation " among the Ahl al - Sunnah wa al - Jamaah and the " Four Major Hadith Compilation " ( al -Kutub al - Arbaah ) among Shiites. The study also showed that tadwîn of hadith clearly had a contribution which was not only limited to providing abundant material for writing the history of Islam in the form of biography (sirah) and military raids or attacks (maghâziy), but more importantly also about resource gathering methods, method of source criticism, and methods of preparation work of Islamic history .

Abstract

Muslims since the beginning of Islam has noticed how the interpretation and rules, methodology and matters relatingto the interpretation of the application of the Koran. This can be seen in the literature that still exists today. Inaddition to a variety of scientific disciplines that developed in the history of Islam and the Muslims, the Qur’anicstudies is a discipline that must be learned to be applied in interpreting the Qur’an. But after entering the latestdevelopments, the study of the Koran interacted with some ideas in the West. Some orientalists were concerned aboutthe study of the Qur’an began to incorporate some western methodologies, including hermeneutics. Parties orientaliswas distracting so great to change thinking in Indonesia that have been started since the early 1980s. The works ofMuslim scientists who follow in the footsteps of orientalists such as Hasan Hanafi, Mohamed Arkoun, Nasr Hamid,Fazlurrahman, Muhammad Shahrur and others, enough to attract interest among Muslim scientists. This paperfocused on one Mohamed Arkoun among the many Muslim thinkers who had contributed in the methodology ofinterpretation of the Koran.

Abstract

This article is aimed to deal with the development of Islamic philosophy in modern era in many countries, both in the East and the West, in the world commonly, and in Indonesia particularly. Islamic philosophy in this era has grown through four stages. Firstly, at the beginning of 19th century, when the modernization in Muslim countries has been initiated by Jamâl al-Dîn al-Afghânî. Secondly, since 19th until 20th century, when some orientalists among Jews have studied the Islamic philosophy. Thirdly, post-World War II, when the Islamic philosophy has become the concern of the Eastern and Western scholars. Fourthly, the golden age of Islamic philosophy has come, since 20th century hitherto, when the bordes has fused in the sense that both Western and Eastern scholars have collaborated in jointintellectual agenda to study of Islamic philosophy. The Study of Islamic philosophy in Indonesia, in particular, has passed three stages of development; firstly, in 1960-1970s, the stage of consolidation has begun through efforts carried out by Harun Nasution to cultivate rational thought in the mind of Indonesian Moslems; secondly, in 1980-1990s, the stage of institutionalization has begun when the department of theology and philosophy at the Faculty of Ushûl al-Dîn at Syarif Hidayatullah State Institute for Islamic Studies in Jakarta has been initiated in 1982; finally, since 1990 hitherto, the stage of functionalization, when the Islamic philosophy has been studied in Islamic universities, and even functionalized to solve many problems.

Abstract

Filsafat Cina tidak cenderung terlalu ekstrim menekankan pemikiran filsaafat “keluar” maupun “ke dalam”. Filsafat Cina lebih menekankan keseimbangan di antarakeduanya. Dalam konsep humanisme pemikiran filsafat Cina mempunyai coraktersendiri bila dibandingkan dengan humanisme yang dianut di Barat dan padaumumnya. Humanisme dalam tradisi Cina tidak ada pengingkaran pada Yang MahaAgung yang menunjukkan adanya unifikasi dengan antara manusia sebagai Makhlukdan Tuhan sebagai Khalik.
