Abstract

The research objective was to describe the potential for waterfall tourism in Sambangan Village and to analyze strategies to develop the tourist attraction of the waterfall in Sambangan Village. Collecting data by means of observation, interviews, and document recording was analyzed with qualitative analysis to describe the potential for waterfall tourism in Sambangan Village and SWOT analysis to formulate a waterfall tourism development strategy. The results showed (1) classification of waterfall tourism potential in Sambangan Village, namely the classification of low tourism potential (Barak Wall Waterfall), medium tourism potential classification (Changing Waterfall, Dedari Waterfall, Cemara Waterfall), and high tourism potential classification ( Aling Aling Waterfall, Kembar Waterfall, Kroya Waterfall, Pucuk Waterfall) and (2) A strategic plan for developing a waterfall tourist attraction, namely by developing and improving various components including tourist attractions, accessibility, facilities, institutions, and preservation. environment to increase tourists to the waterfall in Sambangan Village.

Abstract

As one of the natural tourist attractions that continues to experience an increase in tourist visits, Oetune Beach requires planned management from various stakeholders, one of which is the local government. The purpose of this research is to describe the government role in the management of Oetune Beach in Tuafanu Village. The research used a qualitative descriptive approach and data were obtained from field observations, interviews, documentation, and literature studies on Oetune Beach from various available sources. Based on the results of the research, it was found that the role of the local government (TTS tourism office) in managing the tourist attraction of Oetune Beach which runs through 4 roles, namely the role of coordinator, developing strategies and policies for managing Oetune Beach in making infrastructures such as access roads to tourist attractions, provision of electricity, and clean water in the oetune beach area. The role of the facilitator is by providing facilities and infrastructure at the Oetune Beach DTW, conducting tourism promotions and guiding each sub-district to identify tourist attractions in each region. The role of the stimulator is carried out through the involvement of local communities as coastal managers. The role of a motivator is carried out through a community empowerment program that provides land to open the tourist attraction of Oetune Beach at no cost to local communities.

Abstract

Tourism villages are projected as an alternative to the new normal era tourist destinations. The tourism segment changes along with the new normal era, so tourists will choose private destinations such as nature-based tourism. The existence of a tourist village that implements CHSE (Cleanliness, Health, Safety and Environment Sustainability) assures tourists to travel safely in tourist villages. The research method uses descriptive qualitative analysis with a case study approach. The SWOT analysis shows that the potential of a tourist village can be developed into a developed tourism village, currently, there are 16 certified tourist villages and other tourist villages

Abstract

Serangan Village as a potential area is a representation of Denpasar City Government's policy on environmental conservation, history and cultural values, the interests of the world of education, and the interests of cultural tourism full of attractions. The purpose of this study was to identify the role of social capital in the development of sustainable tourism in Serangan Village and to analyze the influence of the role of government, community participation, and social capital on the quality of destinations and sustainable tourism development in Serangan Village. The results of this study are the role of social capital norms in Serangan Village has an important role in tourism development in Serangan Village, where norms in traditional villages in Serangan Village are still very strong.

Abstract

Optimization of village potential in the order of pioneering Paranggupito tourism village, Wonogiri Regency. Along with the development of tourist villages, the Central Java Provincial Government responded to this condition with the existence of the Central Java Provincial Regulation No. 2 of 2019 concerning the empowerment of tourist villages in Central Java Province One of the districts in Central Java located at the southern tip of which is currently working to build a tourist village in Wonogiri Regency. Currently, Wonogiri Regency has 6 tourist villages that have already obtained SK as tourism villages from the Wonogiri Regency Youth and Sports and Tourism Office in 2020, one of which is the Paranggupito tourism village. This research will focus on pioneering tourism villages by maximizing the existing potential. The purpose of this research is to multiply the potential and tourist attractions, mapping the potential of tourism villages, and develop the concept of a tourism village with the activities offered by the strategy of packaging tourism villages into tour package products. In this study, descriptive qualitative research methods are used by describing and mapping the potential of tourism villages, as well as compiling village tour packages. In addition, non-physical development will also be carried out including the development of human resources, both technical and managerial skills for tourism village managers, building cooperation networks, and compiling marketing media to be used. In pioneering Paranggupito tourism village, it is made in 2 concepts that are oriented towards the tourist market to be targeted, concept 1 which emphasizes more on educational and adventure tourism with the target market being young people who like an adventure.

Abstract

Dalam tulisan ini memadukan penelusuran empirik terhadap proses kebijakan untuk menghasilkan beberapa temuan yang relevan dengan sasaran kebijakan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan pariwisata dapat mendorong terwujudnya keuletan dan ketangguhan masyarakat dalam menghadapi dan mengatasi tantangan dan hambatan. Strategi dan implikasi kebijakan pengembangan pariwisata dapat meningkatkan pendapatan daerah, swasta, dan masyarakat. Kedua, hasil analisis ini memberi gambaran bahwa strategi dan implikasi kebijakan pengembangan pariwisata dapat mewujudkan ketahanan sosial budaya dalam masyarakat berbangsa dan bernegara.

Abstract

Perkembangan industri pariwisata di Indonesia pertumbuhannya membaik. Kondisi ini menuntut Pemerintah Indonesia untuk meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia pariwisata yang profesional dan trampil yang siap bekerja di dunia industri pariwisata. Beberapa langkah strategis dapat dilakukan oleh pemerintah Indonesia. Dan tindakan nyata yang terkait dengan peningkatan kualitas sumber daya manusia pariwisata harus segera diwujudkan. Diantaranya: Pertama. Pemerintah dan masyarakat harus aktif untuk turut membantu mengurangi penduduk Indonesia yang berpendidikan rendah, serta yang tidak bisa bersekolah. Misalnya, pemberian beasiswa-beasiswa harus terus ditingkatkan, mulai dari tingkat Sekolah Dasar, sampai pada Perguruan Tinggi. Abad XXI seperti sekarang, generasi muda yang loyo, tidak berpendidikan, tidak berkualitas dan tidak profesional sangat tidak dibutuhkan dalam sektor jasa, khususnya pariwisata. Kedua, pelaksanaan sistem pendidikan "Link & Match" harus segera diwujudkan dengan sungguh-sungguh. Hal ini bisa dilakukan dengan On THe Job Training secara bertahap dan mendapatkan sertifikasi keahlian setara Internasional. Ketiga, menambah program S-1 pariwisata, dalam jangka pendek dan jalur program S2-S3 pariwisata dalam jangka panjang, dimana beberapa paket materi pengajaran yang berorientasi global dan beberapa mata kuliah global yang terkait dengan pariwisata. Demikian pula Tri Dharma terpadu dapat dimulai dari dharma penelitian eksploratif tentang sadar wisata masyarakat juga harus digalakkan. Keempat, dengan membentuk organisasi Masyarakat Peduli/Pecinta Pariwisata, Seni dan Budaya. Dengan cara memberikan wawasan pengetahuan dan pengalaman, juga bekal ketrampilan kepada anggota Masyarakat Peduli / Pecinta Pariwisata, Seni dan Budaya. Kelima, berkaitan dengan dikeluarkannya UU No. 22 Tahun 1999 tentang otonomi daerah, maka seharusnya Pemerintah memberikan pendidikan dan pelatihan bagi karyawan tingkat manajerial pada Kantor Dinas Pariwisata maupun karyawan Hotel, Restoran atau Biro Perjalanan Wisata yang berdomisili di Daerah Tingkat II. Juga memberikan Crash Program pendidikan akademis untuk masing-masing bidang pada dunia kepariwisataan misalnya : Perhotelan dan Usaha Perjalanan Wisata dengan memberikan ijasah D III dan S1. Demikian bagi yang sudah lulus Program S1 disarankan untuk mengambil Program S2 yang berkaitan dengan kepariwisataan. Keenam, dengan membentuk standar kompetisi atas setiap pekerjaan oleh industri pariwisata. Kesemuanya harus didukung dengan kualitas mental yang harus dimiliki dengan cara pendalaman pendidikan agama dan penerapan disiplin sejak dini.

Abstract

Sumber kesulitan belajar mahasiswa di Perguruan Tinggi pada dasarnya sama dengan sumber kesulitan belajar bagi siswa ataupun mahasiswa di berbagai strata pendidikan. Munculnya kesulitan belajar pada umumnya dapat diidentifikasi menjadi dua yaitu sumber internal (dalam diri individu) dan sumber eksternal (luar diri individu). Namun demikian kedua sumber tersebut masing-masing memiliki sub faktor yang cukup beragam. Mengidentifikasi sub faktor saja nampaknya sangat kesulitan. Karena sub faktor kesulitan belajar pada umumnya berjalan secara bersamaan (simultan). Demikian halnya dengan mengukur kontribusi salah satu sub faktor akan sangat sulit karena keterlibatan/keterkaitan antara satu sub faktor dengan sub faktor yang lain. Tanda sebagai mahasiswa mengalami kesulitan belajar adalah rendahnya hasil belajar yang diukur melalui besarnya Indeks Prestasi mahasiswa tersebut (selanjutnya ditulis IP). Ukuran normatif IP yang rendah adalah dibawah 2,00, atau mahasiswa tersebut mengalami penurunan yang relatif lebih besar (lebih dari 0,5) pada tiap-tiap semesternya. Dalam penelitian ini disoroti faktor eksternal yaitu sub faktor ekonomi keluarga khususnya mengenai uang kiriman mahasiswa. Dan dari hasil studi empiris tentang sub faktor tersebut, menunjukkan bahwa sub faktor uang kiriman mahasiswa tidak merupakan faktor penyebab timbulnya kesulitan belajar sehingga mengakibatkan kegagalan belajar. Artinya bahwa beberapa responden yang menerima uang kiriman sedikit/relatif rendah tidak semuanya mengalami kegagalan dalam belajar. Sebaliknya responden yang menerima uang kiriman lebih banyak/cukup tinggi tidak semua sukses dalam belajarnya.

Abstract

Pada visi pariwisata Indonesia tahun 2005, pariwisata nasional dicanangkan menjadi penghasil devisa utama. Namun pembangunan dan pengembangan kepariwisataan membawa konsekuensi yaitu timbulnya dampak sosial budaya. Peranan pariwisata dalam pembangunan negara pada garis besarnya berintikan tiga segi, yaitu segi ekonomis, segi sosial dan segi kebudayaan. Tiga hal yang berpengaruh terhadap kehidupan sosial yang disebabkan dari pariwisata, yaitu: 1. Polarization of The Population, 2. Breakdown of The Family, 3. Development of The Attitudes of a Consumption-Oriented Society; Incident of Phenomena of Social Pathalogy. Pengaruh pariwisata terhadap kebudayaan terjadi karena suatu proses akulturasi antara kebudayaan masyarakat dengan kebudayaan para wisatawan. Dari sisi ekonomi, pariwisata merupakan industri multi komponen, tidak dapat dilepaskan dengan sektor ekonomi lain. Pemasukan tidak hanya dari uang yang dibelanjakan, melainkan juga menarik modal asing. Pariwisata adalah usaha padat karya (labour intensive), menciptakan tenaga kerja di sektor lain. Dalam pengembangan kepariwisataan nasional faktor ekonomis sering menjadi pertimbangan utama dari pengambil keputusan untuk mengembangkan potensi kepariwisataan. Pertimbangan ini kadang lebih ditonjolkan dari pada pertimbangan moral dalam artian kemungkinan pariwisata memiliki dampak sosial yang negatif.

Abstract

Purchasing is a series of activities resulting in the selection and acquisition of desired commodities services. The purchasing function is extremely important. Any money that is saved during the purchasing process goes directly to the bottom line. Purchasing in the hospitality industries operation is a routine activity to purchase the good. Purchasing is an essential activity because controlling the cost of operation could be started from purchase. The wrong purchase causes inefficient operation, and the business could be lost. Managers of any business venture must understand the importance of controlling the purchasing function. Efficiently and effectiveness in purchasing should be saved cost for product. It could be to support generating profit in operation. The difficulty of generating a profit is only one of the reasons why the purchasing functions so pertinent. The purchasing could be efficient and effective if its activity base on 6 (six) objective of purchase, as follows: right product, the right price, right quality, right quantity, right time and the right supplier. Many managers in a business have an image that the profit only gets from generating sales, to increase the profit, the manager must be increase sales of the product. However, purchasing could be generating profit most easily and efficiently more than generating profit from sales. Generating profit in operation could be get from purchasing control. In this manner, the business could increase the power competitive by cost control from purchase
