Abstract

The development of tourism in a region into an object or area of tourism needs to pay attention to the potential of the area concerned in this case the District of Morotai Island, in order to create advantages that comparative in the area, that will be developed include the category still a novice compared to other regions which is much more advanced, with a competitive advantage that is difficult rivalled by other areas. Tourism is the destination where tourists foreign and domestic do series of activities directly into one of the excellent for countries to improve their income sources outside of oil and gas and taxes. Currently, Indonesia as a developing country in the field of tourism began to promote the country in order to attract the eyes of the world. Morotai is one area that has a sale value in the field of tourism-related to him, the central government manjadikan Morotai as a regional tourist destination. A tourism destination is a series of activities carried out by foreign tourists and domestic that directly touch and involve the community so as to bring an economic impact on local communities.

Abstract

Green Management System (GMS) is an effort to protect the environment. With the depletion of natural resources, the protection of the environment is not only limited to a small part of its corporate social responsibility, but it must be a model in business organizations. Model GMS-oriented environment, will systematically affect the company in reducing waste, reducing the use of natural resources, reduce pollution and continuously monitoring the purpose of creating business results were positive for all stakeholders.Modern business travel will continue to come under pressure from the environment and the realization of the company's sustainability strategy, the managers began to review the possibility of implementation of GMS in the management system of the organization; directs the management of the organization, developing technologies to reduce adverse environmental impact and develop the production of green (green production) more rational and cost-effective.Development and implementation of green policies in environmental management becomes an important part of the transformation of business management functions in optimizing the use of GMS to improve corporate performance and benefits for environmental sustainability. Direct implications for the development and implementation of environmental protection in the modern business organization in accordance with modern green standards and the principles of environmental sustainability and a company associated with the creation of the organization, program and structure, education and training of human resources will enable the transfer and dissemination of knowledge for environmental protection.

Abstract

Tourism proved to contribute to the acceptance of local revenues and plays a role in alleviating poverty. Tourism also plays a role in efforts to improve the nation's identity and encourage awareness and community pride of the natural and cultural wealth. With tourism, a country or more specifically of local government where it is located will get revenue from the income of each tourism destination. Potential tourism attraction in Sangiran, Sragen has not been fully optimally managed, so that the existence of a tourism asset has not received the maximum response from visitors in the form of tourist visits.The problem in this research is how the potential of cultural tourism Sangiran site and what strategies are applied to the future development of Sangiran Site as a tour. This research aims to find the strategies in Sangiran tourism development according to the character as a world heritage site. This research uses SWOT analysis, to find strengths weaknesses factors, opportunities and challenges faced in the development of these attractions. This research is qualitative which look at research as a process, in order to gain a deep understanding with regard to community interaction in the area of research, Sangiran Site, Kalijambe, Sragen, Central Java Province.The results show that as rated the world's cultural heritage, tourism development positions Sangiran located in a strategic position if it is able to use optimally the power and opportunities that it has. One strength of tourist objects is because of the uniqueness and rarity, as shown by a collection of objects on display in the Museum of Ancient Man Sangiran. The cultural heritage objects, dating from prehistoric times, either in the form of early human fossils millions of years old, as well as other antique objects which the old is hundreds of years old is very important to understand the life of the ancestors of Indonesia in the past.Efforts to prevent the theft of Sangiran Site’s fossils, so in addition to the ongoing elucidation of the importance of cultural heritage, legal sanctions should be enforced, due to the exploitation of fossil violating Republic Act No. 11 the Year 2010 About the Cultural Heritage. Therefore, it is considered important and urgent, in order to be formed Awareness group as one component in society which have an important role and contribution in the development tourism of the Sangiran Site.

Abstract

This article is the result of research that talks about how the development of the tourism market of sharia in Yogyakarta City. Sharia travel is a new travel trend worldwide that has excellent prospects for development and this concept into new ways to develop tourism in Yogyakarta to uphold the culture and values of Islam. This study seeks to segment the tourism market in the Yogyakarta City and tourist developments seen from indicators sharia destination product and service quality, as well as formulated attributes that are required in the development of sharia travel and recommend the development of a marketing strategy of sharia in the Yogyakarta City. The descriptive method was used to describe the facts about the sharia travel market in Yogyakarta City. The results show that tourists visiting Yogyakarta come from various parts of the archipelago, with demographic and psychographic diversity. Yogyakarta has a great potential to be developed as a tourist destination with Islamic views of destination product and service quality by adding the necessary attributes and by conducting massive marketing with the promotional mix.

Abstract

Jayapura district is a district located in the province of Papua. Unidirectional on the vision and mission of "New Jayapura district" makes the Jayapura district currently holds the role as the major developments in the polar region in particular of Jayapura. But the Jayapura district has not had the appropriate brand status in the field of tourism. In the framework of marketing and competition in the world of tourism, of course not wrong if Jayapura district also boasts a unique identity that expresses the uniqueness of Jayapura district itself. This study aims to determine views or perceptions of market participants travel (tourists) on the formation of a destination image in Jayapura district and identify the elements of the establishment of a brand that is suitable for city branding prepare for the Jayapura district. The method used is the method mix between quantitative and qualitative methods by taking a sample of 30 respondents rating, which then description perception of market participants travel to the image of Jayapura District as a destination and the elements of what is appropriate to draw up branding Jayapura city. The results showed that the image of Jayapura district as a tourism destination is unique, comfortable, Lake Sentani, culture, youth and diversity of nature.

Abstract

Wayang Beber Pacitan as a myth can be seen as a text, which contains signifier and signified. The characters in the puppet is an intermediary for people to interpret the content in Java and basic human traits. Structural analysis Wayang Beber Pacitan bring the following conclusions: First, that the structure of the three are often found in the Java community. Second, that the ideal marriage expected in Pacitan beber wayang stories are cousins once between the two kingdoms (Kediri and Jenggala), although in the Java community does not explicitly recognize their ideal mate. Third, the story Wayang Beber Pacitan is a political story that serves to legitimize the power of the kingdom of Kediri and Janggala. Fourth, that behind the story is that there is a notion of Java: “sopo kang nandur bakal ngundhuh”.

Abstract

Sunday Morning Market is a weekly market that is open on Sundays morning in the Gadjah Mada University area. It is a place for informal traders to sell their goods. The analysis shows that there are some patterns of social networks between traders, suppliers and buyers in the Sunday Morning market. The formation of social networks among traders is a horizontal network, based onkinship ar friendship. They have the same resources and obligations to be exchanged. The social relationship itself will be manifested in help each other. The social networks formed through kinship has an important role to overcome social pressures, poverty, unemployment and limited access in getting economic resources. It is common in the informal trading sector, traditional management is applied based on friendship, kinship or origin. The formation of social networks between traders and suppliers is such a vertical social network, by which the socio-economic status is not worth, as well the exchange of obligations and resources. The relation between them is the patron-client relationship. Whereas social networks between sellers and buyers is based on the network ofinterest, social networks between sellers and buyers are based on the network of interest in each other.

Abstract

Central Jawa Province obviously one of the tourist destinations in Indonesia either nature or historical and cultural attractions. The existence of Mary Cave Kerep Ambarawa also contributes to tourism in Central Jawa as the attraction of spiritual tourism. The objectives of this research are to acknowledge how to access the location of Mary Cave Kerep Ambarawa as well as to recognize how are the facilities that support Mary Cave Kerep Ambarawa. The methods of research being used are observation, interview and book study. Mary Cave Kerep Ambarawa resides in Jl. Tentara Pelajar, Dusun Kerep, Panjang Sub-district, Ambarawa District, Semarang Regency, Central Jawa Province. Geographically Mary Cave Kerep Ambarawa is located on the south slope hill of Ungaran mountain. The attraction of Mary Cave Kerep Ambarawa appeals from its Mary Cave views. It is the highest Mother Mary statue in the world and its inscriptions. Mary Cave Kerep Ambarawa is shaped in an artificial cave with a stacked stone bonded with cement, sand and lime. The cave overlooks to the east and is shaded by tall trees and lush. From one of the caves, there is a statue of Mother Mary Lourdes style without a crown. Viewed from the access, to object of religious tourism in Mary Cave Keep with an area around 5 hectares or more is not stiff. When leaving the city of Semarang the visitor can be able to grab a Yogyakarta line bus. Vice versa, when leaving from Yogyakarta select bus to Semarang, down to Ambarawa terminal. Similarly, when using personal vehicle travel to Semarang- Yogyakarta route, arrive at Ambarawa terminal bus, there is a signpost for the entrance to the tourist attraction, which is the entrance to the west and down to the ramp about 1KM. The facilities are provided in Mary Cave Keep Ambarawa specifically: hall, transit building, and prayer room, parking lot, shops object spiritual, church, food stalls around the area of the Cave, and accommodation, such as hotels and homestay.

Abstract

The existence of traditional markets that have unique functions and diversity must be preserved and conserved as one characteristic of the culture in the district of Bantul in particular because there are values that are not contained in a modern shopping centre. This has encouraged the government is obliged to immediately revitalize traditional markets in order to respond to the chronic problems of the traditional market which is related to the traditional market image problem. Traditional markets are imaged as rundown, dirty, muddy, poorly maintained, and has a quality level of occupancy very down Program traditional market revitalization aims to improve the performance and quality of the market. Review activity Market Revitalization Pleret intended to identify the physical, economic, management, environmental and social, in order to obtain data that can be used to find out the problems and constraints faced by market Pleret development efforts as a traditional market better, formulate. Market revitalization programs and activities Pleret Bantul and provide recommendations on structuring the physical aspects, economics, management, socio-cultural environment and Pleret Pasar Bantul. The results showed that Pleret Market is a traditional market with pancawara or use the 'market'. namely, a market which used 'pasara' which consisted of five days a week, namely PON‟, Legi, Pahing, Pon and Wage. And the market Pleret uses only two days is the day with the 'market' Pon and day with the 'market' PON‟ while other days by Legi, Pahing and Wage in the market Pleret not move alias lid so that the count of time efficiency, the market Pleret including market inefficient because only open 12 days a month. In an effort to improve the image and power saving Pasar Pleret, it is recommended that the market Pleret can soon turn into a normal market, the business should immediately take the policy with regard to improving the management of Market Pleret, so that this market can operate optimally and efficiently, serve the needs of society, merchants increase revenue, and increase revenue (PAD) through retribution market which will eventually boost economic growth Bantul.
