Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pohon inang epifit (porofit) pada hutan bekas tebangan setelah 6 tahun pembalakan seluas 12 hektar di Hutan Penelitian Malinau (MRF-CIFOR) pada hutan dataran rendah DAS Malinau.  Pohon inang epifit di hutan bekas tebangan ditemukan 50 pohon per hektar, yang terdiri dari 162 spesies dalam 42 suku dengan 484 pohon (79.9%) berdiameter 20-51 cm.  Pohon inang dari family Dipterokarpa di temukan paling banyak di hutan bekas tebangan (± 50%). Shorea parvifolia Dyer. merupakan pohon inang paling banyak ditemukan (34 pohon).

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada hutan bekas tebangan seluas 12 hektar di Hutan Penelitian Malinau (MRF-CIFOR) Kampung Seturan Kecamatan Long Loreh Kabupaten Malinau dengan tujuan untuk mengindentifikasi keanekaragaman epifit berkayu dan pohon inangnya. Di hutan bekas tebangan ditemukan sembilan spesies epifit berkayu yang hidup pada 112 pohon inang atau rata-rata 1,2 individu/pohon inang. Jenis Hoya sp. dari suku Asplepidaceae merupakan epifit yang terbanyak ditemukan pada tajuk dan batang.

Abstract

The aim from this research is to found out the various kinds of Pteridophytes epiphytes and its porophyte in the log over area to the broadness of 12 hectares in the Malinau Research Forest (MRF-CIFOR) Seturan – district of Long Loreh the regency of Malinau. In the Log Over Area being found 50 species with 2993 individual or 4,9 individual Pteridophytes epphytes at each Phorophyte. Species Lycopodium sp, Selliguea lima (v.A.v.R)Holt., and the family Polypodiaceae is the most ones Pteridophytes epiphytes at the crown, at the bark trees and at the bole trees. The porophyte are being found 610 trees consisting of 162 species in 101 genera of 44 families with 484 trees consisting each of them has got a diameter runs from 20-51 cm. The species of Shorea parvifolia Dyer, being the most one in wich 34 trees.Keywords: Pteridophytes epiphyte, porophyt, diversity

Abstract

The objective of this research was to identify various kinds of Orchidaceae epiphytes and their porophyte in the logged over forest of 12 hectares within Malinau Research Forest (MRF-CIFOR) Seturan – Ddistrict of Long Loreh, Malinau.Regency. The research found 37 species with 2, 4 individual orchids epiphytes at each phorophyte. The Bulbopphyllum beccariu Rchb.f. is the most one orchids epiphytes at the crown and at the bark trees.The Dominant Index Species (C) at the crown ,.04141 and at the bark 0,34551. The Various Index of Species (H) at the crown 1,3801 and at the bark 0,46975. The Similarity Index of spcies from Shφrensen(ISs) at the crown 16,22.Keywords: Orchidaceae epiphytes, diversity, similarity

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the application of cow manure and egg plant varieties, and their interactions, as well as to find proper dosage of cow dung and a variety for better growth and production. The study was conducted from February to June 2013, in the village of New Melapeh Linggang Bigung Subdistrict, West Kutai.  The randomized design was employed for this study with a factorial 2 x 4 and 3 replications.  The first factor is the eggplant variety (V) which consists of two sub-factors: V1 (v1) and V2 (v2). And the second factor is the dose of cow manure (P), consists of four sub-factors: 0 tonnes/ha (p0), 5 tons/ha, equivalent to a 2:42 g/plot (p1), 10 tons/ha, equivalent to 4.85 g/plot (p2), and 15 tons/ha, equivalent to 7.62 g/plot (p3).The results showed that the best variety is V1, and the dose of cow manure affected significantly on the length of the plant at 15, 30, and 45 days after planting, the number of fruits per plant, fruit weight per plant, fruit diameter, affected significantly on the length of the fruit , but it does not affect significantly on the weight of fruit per plant.  The best production obtained by treatment of 15 tons/ha with a 7.26 g, and the least one is 5 tons/ha with a 2.42 g.Meanwhile, the interaction between the dose of cow manure and egg plan varieties affected very significantly on the length of the plant at 15 and 30 days after planting, affected significantlyon  the number of fruits per plant and fruit length, but it does not affect significantly on the length of the plant in 45 days after planting, fruit weight per plant and fruit diameter.

Abstract

Objectives of the research were to study the effect of type and concentration  foliar fertilizer, as well as their interaction on the growth and yield of Eggplant; and to find proper type and consentration of foliar fertilizer for better growth and production of Eggplant.  The research was carried out from July to October 2012, since preparation of growing media until crop harvested.  It was held at Experiment at Simpang Pait Village, Long Ikis Subdistrict, Paser District, Provinsi of East Kalimantan.   The research employed Completely Randomised Design (CRD) with factorial 2 x 5 experiment and 4 replications.  The first factor was type of foliar fertilizer (J), that consisted of two levels, namely:  Green Tonik (j1), and Supranik (j2). The second factor was concentration of foliar fertilizer (K), that consisted of five levels, namely: no foliar fertilizer as control (k0); 1,0 ml l-1 water (k1); 2,0 ml l-1 water (k2); 3,0 ml l-1 water (k3), and 4,0 ml l-1 water (k4).  Results of the experiment indicated that : (1) foliar fertilizer types (J) affect very significantly on plant height at 28, 42, and 56 days after planting, but it did not affect significantly on plant height 14 days after planting, blooming time, harvest time, number of fruit, and weight of fruit; (2) concentration of foliar fertilizer (K) affect significantly on plant height at 14, 21, 28 and 42  days after planting, and weight of fruit, but it did not significantly on blooming time, harvest time, and number of fruit.  The highest weight of fruit was attained on the 4,0 ml l-1 water treatment (k4) with 0,58 kg plant-1 while the worst one was on the no foliar fertilizer treatment (k0) with 0,49 kg plant-1; and (3) the interaction between those two factors did not affect significantly on all parameters observed, but it did affect significantly on plant height 24 days after planting.

Abstract

Objectives of the research were to study the effect of Green-Tama fertilizer and Atonik plant regulator, as well as their interaction on the growth and production of tomato; and to find proper dosage of Green-Tama fertilizer and proper consentration of Atonik plant regulator for better growth and production of tomato.The Completely Randomised Design was employed for this research with factorial 3 x 3 and 3 replications.  The first factor was Green-Tama fertilizer dosage (K), consisted of 3 sub factors: no Green-Tama fertilizer application (k0), 2 ml l-1 water (k1), and 3 ml l-1 water (k2). And the second factor was Atonik plant regulator concentration (P) that consisted of 3 sub-factors: no Atonik plant regulator application (p0), 1 ml l-1 water (p1, and 2 ml l-1 water (p2).Results of the research revealed that:1. The Green-Tama fertilizer affected very significantly on the plant height at 4 weeks after sowing, days of crop firstly flowered and weight per fruit, affected significantly on plant height at 6 weeks after sowing, and did not affect significantly on plant height at 8 weeks after sowing and number of fruit per crop;2. The Atonik plant regulator concentration affected very significantly on the plant height at 4, 6, and 8 weeks after sowing, days of crop firstly flowered, number of fruit per crop, and fruit weight per crop, and did not affect significantly on plant height at 2 weeks after sowing;  and3. The interaction between those two factors did not affect significantly on all parameters observed.

Abstract

Pengaruh Pupuk Organik Granul Dan Pupuk Urea Terhadap Pertumbuhan Bibit Karet (Hevea brasiliensis Muell.Arg.) Okulasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pupuk organik granul dan Urea, dan juga untuk menentukan harga dosis yang tepat pupuk organik granul dan urea untuk pertumbuhan yang lebih baik dari bibit karet okulasi. Penelitian dilakukan dari Maret 2014 sampai Juni 2014 di Desa Sekolaq Darat, Kecamatan Sekolaq Darat, Kabupaten Kutai Barat, Provinsi Kalimantan Timur. Desain penelitian diterapkan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) faktorial 3 x 3, dan ulangi 4 kali, yang terdiri dari 2 faktor penelitian. Faktor pertama adalah pupuk organik granul (G), terdiri dari tiga tingkatan yaitu: tidak ada aplikasi granul organik pupuk (kontrol) atau (g0), 5 g granul polybag (G1), dan 10 g butiran / polibeg (g2). Faktor kedua adalah urea (N), yang terdiri dari 3 tingkatan, yaitu: tidak ada aplikasi urea (kontrol) atau (n0), 6g urea / polybag (n1), dan 9g urea / polybag (n2).Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa pupuk organik granul tidak mempengaruhi secara signifikan terhadap tinggi tanaman pada 2 dan -3 bulan setelah okulasi, jumlah daun pada 3 bulan setelah okulasi, dan diameter bibit pada 2 bulan setelah okulasi. Ini mempengaruhi secara signifikan pada jumlah daun pada 2 bulan setelah okulasi dan bibit diameter 3 bulan setelah okulasi. Ini mempengaruhi sangat signifikan terhadap tinggi tanaman pada 4 bulan, jumlah daun pada 4 bulan dan bibit diameter 4 bulan setelah pencangkokan. urea treatmentdid tidak mempengaruhi secara signifikan terhadap tinggi tanaman pada 2-, 3- dan 4- bulan setelah okulasi, jumlah daun pada 2-, 3-, dan 4- bulan setelah okulasi, diameter bibit di 2- dan 3- bulan setelah Grafing, tapi itu mempengaruhi secara signifikan pada diameter bibit pada 4 bulan setelah pencangkokan.Interaksi antara pupuk organik granul dan pengobatan urea tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap tinggi tanaman pada 2-, 3- dan 4- bulan setelah okulasi, jumlah daun pada 2- dan 3- bulan setelah okulasi, dan bibit diameter di 2-, 3 - dan 4 bulan setelah okulasi. Tapi itu mempengaruhi secara signifikan pada jumlah daun pada 4 bulan setelah okulasi.
