Abstract

Fusarium wilt caused by Fusarium oxysporum .F. oxysporum including soil-borne diseases because it can survive in the soil in the form of klamidiospora,.  This fungus is relatively difficult to separate the soil. One technique is to use a control that disease-resistant varieties.  Some tomato varieties are known to have different resistance to fusarium wilt.  Some of these varieties are expected to break the life cycle of disease in the field.  The use of antagonistic fungi Trichoderma sp. can be hiperparasit on several species of fungi that cause plant diseases, growing very fast, and not become a disease of higher plants.  Trichoderma sp. naturally a parasite that many types of fungi attack the plant destroyer (broad spectrum control) and is a fungus that is involved in the natural competition among fungi.

Abstract

The aim of research to determine the effect of urea and SP-36 fertilizer as well as their interaction on the graftedrubber seedling growth, and to find appropriate doses of urea and SP-36 fertilizers for better growth of grafted rubber seedlings.The research was conducted from February 2015 until May 2015 in the village of Empas, Sub District of Melak, West Kutai Regency, East Kalimantan Province.The study design used was completely randomized design (CRD) in a factorial 4 x 4, and repeat 3 times, which comprises two factors research. The first factor was Urea (N), consisted of four levels, namely: no urea application or control (n0), 2,5g/polybag (n1), 5g/polybag (n2), and 7,5g/polybag (n3).  The second factor was SP-36 fertilizer (P), consisting of 4 levels, namely: no SP-36 fertilizers application or control (p0), 2,5g/polybag (p1), 5g/polybag (p2), and 7,5g/polybag (p3).The results showed that the treatment of urea (N) affects highly significant on the plant height at ages of 2, 3 and 4 months after grafting, number of leaf at 4 months after grafting and stem diameter at 3 and 4 months after grafting. It affected significantly on the number of leaf at 3 months after grafting.  But it did not affect significantly on the number of leaf at 2 months after grafting, and stem diameter at 2 months after grafting.SP-36 fertilizer treatments (P) affected very significantlyon the stem diameter at 3 and 4 months after grafting.  It affected significantly on the plant height at 4 months after grafting. But it did not affect significantly on the seedling height at 2 and 3 months after grafting, number of leaves at 2, 3 and 4 months after grafting, and stem diameter at 2 months after grafting.The interaction treatment (NXP) affected significantly on the stem diameter at 4 months after grafting.  But it did not affect significantly on the seedling height at 2, 3 and 4 months after grafting, number of leaves at 2, 3 and 4 months after grafting, and stem diameter at 2 and 3 months after grafting

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah : (1) untuk mengetahui pengaruh jarak tanam dan pupuk NPK Phonska serta interaksinya terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi jagung manis (Zea mays saccharata Sturt); dan (2). untuk memperoleh ukuran jarak tanam dan dosis pupuk NPK Phonska yang sesuai untuk tanaman jagung manis.Penelitian dilaksanakan dari bulan Pebruari sampai bulan Mei 2014 di UPT Agrobisnis Empas, Kecamatan Melak, Kabupaten Kutai Barat.Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Petak Terpisah (Split Plots Design) yang disusun dalam Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) yang diulang sebanyak 3 kali. Faktor pertama adalah ukuran jarak tanam (J) sebagai petak utama terdiri atas 3 ukuran yaitu : 75 cm x 30 cm (j1), 75 cm x 40 cm (j2), dan 75 cm x 50 cm (j3).  Faktor kedua adalah dosis pupuk NPK Phonska (P) sebagai anak petak terdiri atas 4 taraf yaitu : tanpa pupuk NPK Phonska (p0), 100 kg ha-1 (p1), 200 kg ha-1 (p2), dan 300 kg ha-1 (p3).     Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : (1) pengaruh jarak tanam berbeda  nyata sampai berbeda sangat nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman pada umur 15, 30, dan 45 hari setelah tanam, umur tanaman saat keluar bunga jantan, umur tanaman saat keluar bunga betina, panjang tongkol tanpa kelobot, lingkar tongkol tanpa kelobot, berat tongkol tanpa kelobot, dan produksi tongkol tanpa kelobot. Produksi tongkol tanpa kelobot paling tinggi dihasilkan pada perlakuan jarak tanam 75 cm x 50 cm (j3) yaitu 5,53 Mg ha-1. (2) Pengaruh pupuk NPK Phonska berbeda sangat nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman pada umur 15, 30, dan 45 hari setelah tanam, umur tanaman saat keluar bunga jantan, panjang tongkol tanpa kelobot, lingkar tongkol tampa kelobot, berta tongkol tanpa kelobot, dan produksi tongkol tanpa kelobot. Produksi tongkol tanpa kelobot paling tinggi dihasilkan pada perlakuan 300 kg ha-1 (p3) yaitu 6,95 Mg ha-1; dan (3) pengaruh interaksi antara jarak tanam dengan pupuk NPK Phonska berbeda nyata terhadap lingkar tongkol tanpa kelobot dan berat tongkol tanpa kelobot, tetapi berbeda tidak nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman pada umur 15, 30, dan 45 hari setelah tanam, umur tanaman saat keluar bunga jantan, umur tanaman saat keluar bunga betina, panjang tongkol tanpa kelobot, dan produksi tongkol tanpa kelobot.

Abstract

Pengaruh Pupuk Organik Cair Nasa dan Pupuk Kompos Terhadap Pertumbuhan Bibit Jeruk Manis (Citrus aurantium). Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh konsentrasi pupuk organik cair nasa dan pupuk kompos serta interaksinya terhadap pertumbuhan bibit jeruk manis, dan juga untuk mengetahui konsentrasi pupuk organik cair nasa dan dosis pupuk kompos yang tepat untuk pertumbuhan bibit jeruk manis (Citrus aurantium).Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL), dalam percobaan faktorial 3 x 3, dengan 5 ulangan. Terdiri atas 2 faktor perlakuan. Faktor I adalah jenis pupuk organik cair Nasa (V), terdiri atas 3 taraf, yaitu : tanpa pupuk organik cair Nasa (v0), konsentrasi pupuk organik cair Nasa 1 ml/l.air (v1), dan konsentrasi pupuk organik cair Nasa 2 ml/l.air (v2). Faktor II adalah dosis pupuk kompos (K), terdiri atas 3 taraf, yaitu : dosis pupuk kompos 15 ton/ha setara 15 g/polibag (k1), dosis pupuk kompos 30 ton/ha setara 30 g/polibag (k2), dan dosis pupuk kompos 45 ton/ha setara 45 g/polibag (k3).Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan pupuk Nasa tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap jumlah daun umur 90 hari setelah tanam.  Berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi bibit umur 60 hari setelah tanam, jumlah daun umur 30 hari dan 60 hari setelah tanam dan diameter batang umur 30 hari dan 60 hari setelah tanam.Interaksi perlakuan antara perlakuan pupuk Nasa dan pupuk kompos berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap tinggi bibit umur 30 hari dan 60 hari setelah tanam, jumlah daun umur 30 hari, umur 60 hari dan umur 90 hari setelah tanam, diameter batang umur 30 hari dan umur 90 hari setelah tanam.  Berpengaruh nyata terhadap diameter batang umur 60 hari setelah tanam.  Berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap diameter batang umur 60 hari setelah tanam.

Abstract

The experiment aimed to identify the growing of rubber seedling (Hevea brasilliensis L.) from oculation upon the application of Bokashi and Bintang Kuda Laut organic liquid fertilizer, as well as its interaction, and to find the proper dosage of Bokashi and Bintang Kuda Laut organic liquid fertilizer for rubber seedling. The experiment lasted for four months, from June to September 2012, at the screen house Agriculture Faculty Widya Gama Mahakam University, Sempaja Samarinda city. The experiment employed Completely Randomized Design with factorial 3x4 and three replications. The first factor was Bikashi (B): no bikashi (b0); 300 g bokashi/polybag (b1); 600 g bokashi/polybag (b2). And the secand factor was Bintang Kuda Laut Organic liquid fertilizer (P): no organic liquid fertilizer (p0); 3 ml/liter water (p1); 6 ml/liter water (p2); and 9 ml/liter water (p3). Results of the experiment showed that: (1) significant responses of Bokashi on the parameters of plant height, number of leaf at the stage of 60 and 90 old days after planting and diameter of stem; (2) significant responses on the application of Bintang Kuda Laut Organic liquid fertilizer on plant height, number of leaf at the stage of 60 and 90 old days and diameter of stem; (3) there was no significant responses on all parameters upon the interaction between bikashi and Bintang Kuda Laut organic liquid fertilizer application.

Abstract

The purpose of this research  was to know of the role of farmers group in the implementation of Sapta Usahatani Programs lowland rice farming by farmers in the Bunga Jadi Village, Muara Kaman District, Kutai Kartanegara Regency.  The method sampling that used is proportional stratified random sampling method with the number of respondents 41 families (KK). This research use chi kuadrat (X2) analysis method, who the first variable is he role of farmer groups and the second variable  is the level of implementation of Sapta Usahatani programs,Based on the research results, it can be concluded that a group of farmers in Desa Bunga Jadi it has been classified as farmer groups are quite advanced, it is seen from the data obtained both for planning element, the element of dooperation in implementing the plan, as wele as elements of the development and utilization of facilities belonging to the group, initiatives and agreements as well as elements of the groups, already implemented in the high category.  Except on the elements of teaching and learning is still in the moderate category.  Implementation of the program Sapta Usahatani lowland rice from 7 element have been categorized held on high criteria, namely the use of improved seed, tillage, fertilization, pest and disease control, irrigation, and post harvest handling.  Except on the elements of marketing activity results which are still in the moderate category in the village of Bunga Jadi, who X2 count of 11,16 compared with 9,49 X2 table.  The results showed that farmers group have role of very effective to the implementation of Sapta Usahatani program lowland rice farming in Bunga Jadi Village.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the actual utilization of forest use borrowed by coal mining company PT Mahakan Sumber Jaya and to determine the implications of the application of the rules of forest use in coal mining systems and various aspects of land use and forest areas that have put the loan to a third party. Companies selected in this study are located in the Kutai regency, namely PT Mahakam Sumber Jaya to wear borrowed acreage is approximately 2925.4 hectares. The selection is based on the availability of data that can be analyzed as well as one of the coal mining company that has been carrying out mining and reclamation in some areas has been completed exploited.The method used is the Survey Methods and techniques of data collection is a combination of several methods is by questionnaires, interviews, library research and documentation.  Questionnaires and interview techniques are used to complement the primary data and secondary data and documentation that has been done.  While the literature is used to collect literature and supporting materials used to construct the initial research plan. The material collected in the form of the results of similar studies, activity reports and other materials relating to the study.  The survey results revealed that the utilization of forest area lend use by PT Mahakam Jaya Lestari has been realized almost entirely, ie 92.70%, and the utilization of forest area or lease area by PT Mahakam Jaya Lestari in accordance with the provisions of the Regulation of the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Indonesia Number P.38/Menhut-II/2012 About Guidelines Borrow and Use of Forest Area.  Reclamation and revegetation activities in stage I and II has been well realized, with over 80% success.  A small part of the area of the former coal extraction tanbang closure yet again.

Abstract

This research aims atthe authors will analyze erosion rate per year, erosion class, erosion hazard in the water catchment area of Marangkayu Reservoir using the Universal Soil Loss Equation (USLE) method and determine which locations are potential to be constructed of check dam into the water catchment area of Marangkayu reservoir optimally.The results of erosion calculation 1) program obtain the value of soil erosion occurring in the water catchment area of Marangkayu Reservoir that is 863.8 tons per hectares per year of total land area 13,489.392 hectares.2) Classification of erosion class based on the value of erosion of land occurring in the Largest water catchment area Marangkayu Reservoir is class III of 6,744.55 ha or 50.15%, Class II 3.596.35 ha or 26.74%, Class IV area of 3.101.42 ha or 23.06% and the smallest in class I area of 6.06 ha or 0, 05% of the total water catchment area of Marangkayu reservoir. 3) While the Classification of Erosion Hazard Level based on erosion class and depth of soil solum in water catchment area of Marangkayu Reservoir with highest Erosi Hazard Level is found on Medium Class Dangerous Medium level of 4,260.15 ha or 31,75%, Level Higher Erosion grade 3.580, 43 ha or 26.68%, Heavy Danger Level grade Weight of 3.102.25 ha or 23.12%, High Speed Erosion Health grade 2.469.92 ha or 18.41% and Erosi Hazards Levels with Very Lightweight grade of 6 , 06 ha or 0, 05% of the total water catchment area of Marangkayu reservoir.4) From the analysis, there are 295 Units of water catchment area that are suitable for the construction of Sedimentary Rocks (Check Dam) with a total area of 4,918 hectares.

Abstract

Suri cucumber (Cucumis melo L. var reticulatus Naudin) is an annual plant. Probiotics is not a fertilizer in general, but materials containing effective microorganism that can help decompose the material present in the soil and can be used to inhibit the growth of plant pests and diseases in the soil, this study aims to determine: (1) the interaction between time and concentration on growth and yield on suri cucumber plants; (2) Time of giving probiotics that are appropriate for growth and yield on suri cucumber plants; and (3) Probiotic concentrations that are appropriate for growth and yield on suri cucumber plants. This research was conducted from April to July 2018 at the Kelurahan Loa Tebu, Kecamatan Tenggarong, Kabupaten Kutai Kartanegara. Factorial designs are arranged in Complete Randomized Design (CRD) with 6 replications. The first factor is the time administration of (W) probiotics at 7 am 12(w1) "> and 4 pm 12(w2)"> . The second factor is the concentration of (K) probiotics: : 0 ( 12k0"> ), 5 ( 12k1"> ),10 ( 12k2"> ) and( 12k3)"> 15 mL. 12L-1">  water. Variables observed in this study were plant height increase, number of leaves, fruit diameter, number and weight of fruit crops. The data were analyzed by analysis of variance (Anova), If the result of Anova showed significantly different, continued by Least Significant Difference(LSD) test at the 5% level to compare between two average treatments.. The results showed that (1) no interaction between the time administration and theconcentrationof probiotics on the growth and yield of cucumber plants on all of the observed variables, namely plant height increase, number of leaves, fruit diameter, number of fruit crops, weight of planting fruit; (2) the time of probiotic administration that has a significant effect on the variable plant height increase at 4 pm; and (3) the treatment of probiotic concentration has no significant effect on all observed variables.

Abstract

Inventarisasi Distribusi Tegakan Puspa (Schima wallichii Korth) pada Berbagai Tipe Kelerengan Di Kebun Raya UNMUL Samarinda (KRUS) Provinsi Kalimantan Timur. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk Mengetahui potensi pohon Puspa (Schima wallichii Korth) di plot penelitian di Kebun Raya UNMUL Samarinda (KRUS) dan Mengetahui distribusi tegakan dan pertumbuhan Puspa (Schima wallichii Korth) di plot penelitian pada berbagai tipe kelerengan di Kebun Raya UNMUL Samarinda.Objek penelitian di plot penelitian di Kebun Raya Unmul Samarinda (KRUS) dengan metode jalur di KRUS.  Transek dibuat masing-masing sepanjang ± 1.000 m, lebar 20 m, yang dimulai dengan mengambil titik awal.  Data yang dikumpulkan adalah data primer berupa inventarisasi Puspa pada tingkat tiang dan pohon yaitu yang berdiameter batang ≥ 10 cm.  Data yang diambil meliputi jumlah individu, diameter batang pohon, tinggi bebas cabang dan tinggi total pohon, sedangkan data skunder diperoleh langsung dari hasil penelitian sebelumnya, literatur-literatur, laporan-laporan dan  tulisan dari pihak instansi yang terkait yang mencakup letak daerah, kondisi tanah, kondisi geogarafi, iklim, curah hujan dan vegetasi. Serta metode wawancara digunakan untuk memperoleh data dan informasi dari petugas di lapangan, pejabat instansi terkait dan penduduk setempat yang ada hubungannya dengan kegiatan penelitian dan dari berbagai literatur yang mendukung.Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah 1) Jumlah individu pohon Puspa berdiameter  ≥ 10 cm yang ditemukan di plot penelitian seluas 60.000 m² (6 Ha) ditemukan 43 pohon. Diameter yang paling mendominasi adalah pohon yang berdiameter diatas 40 cm 2) Diameter pohon Puspa yang paling besar adalah 100,3 cm dengan volume total sebesar 14,71 m³  yang ditemukan pada transek B sedangkan diameter yang paling kecil adalah 13,5 cm dengan volume total sebesar 0,16 m³  yang ditemukan pada transek A. Adapun potensi pohon Puspa dapat dilihat dari jumlah volume tinggi bebas cabang (V TBC) pohon Puspa yang ditemukan di lokasi pengamatan seluas 6 Ha adalah sebesar 115,38 m³ sedangkan volume total (V Tot) adalah sebesar 240,7 m³; dan 3) Di lihat dari 5 kelas tipe kelerengan, hanya tiga kelas kelerengan yang di temukan yaitu Datar 18 pohon, Landai 18 pohon dan Agak curam 7 pohon. Dari hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa walaupun jumlah pohon puspa yang di temukan pada tipe kelerengan datar dan landai sama yaitu 18 pohon puspa, namun pertumbuhanya lebih baik pada tipe kelerengan datar dengan di ketahui diameter rata-rata 58,6 cm dan Volume tinggi total rata-rata 6,21 m3.
