Abstract

This study carried out to analyze the political behaviour being not vote of tampan district community in Pekanbaru city election on 2011. Tampan district community in pekanbaru city election on 2011only had a participation rate of 45,2%, so the author is interested in analyzing the political behaviour of the society. As for the problem in this study is why many voters who are not using their right in pekanbaru city election on 2011 in tampan district and what factors that influence.This study is qualitative study, the data collection techniques is descriptive analysis. This research uses documentation (observation) and interviews with key informants as an information object that aims to achieve the goal to get the information in this study. The type of data used in this study are primary and secondary data obtained from direct observation and interviews with key informants in this study.Based on the analiysis of the political behaviour being not vote of Tampan district community in Pekanbaru city election on 2011. It can be concluded that the public has a low rate of only 45,2% participations. It is caused by the political behaviour of the people who are not looking to sympathetic to political process that occurs (Pekanbaru City election 2011) as for some of the thing that cause political behaviour that tends to be negative are the factor of busyness community and publict distrust of promises of political appointment are common in the elections, as well as lack of political education about the essence of the elections to the Tampan district community.Key note : Political behaviour being not vote.

Abstract

This research is motivated because the street vendors in Indonesia is too much and became one of the original contributors of th income for the region in Indonesia. One place that has street vendors and have a characteristic of the city is Payakumbuh. Developed since 1965, the street vendors in Payakumbuh become one of the tourist destinations in this city. The Food street Night is one kinds of street vendor in Payakumbuh which have good attract attention in for all visitors. If the sret vendors or streest food night can not controlles, it can be crowds because they are do their’s job in all of primary road of Payakumbuh city. And then The Government made a laws and Regions No. 9 of 2010 about Street Vendors and/or The Food street Nights for controlles all of the street vendors and /or The Food street Nights activity.This research uses the theory by Siswanto (2011), control is a systematic effort to set performance standards with the goal of planning, designing feedback information system, comparing actual accomplishments with the established standards, determine whether there are irregularities and measure the significance of deviations and take the necessary corrective actions to ensure that all corporate resources are being used wherever possible more efficiently and effectively to the target company.The results of this reseach indicate that control of the street vendors and/or food street night by Market Management Division is less effective. This is evidenced by the absence of the Standard Operating Procedures owned by Market Management Division for implementation of the Regional Regulation Number 9 of 2010. The influence factors is Market Management Division haven’t made the operational procedures standard and no haven’t wrote legitimate and lack of human resources to supervise. Based on these indicators, they really need much resources works with the duties and functions for controlling the vendors and / or food street night Payakumbuh.Keywords: Control, Street Vendors, Food Street nights.

Abstract

This research describes about the service quality in passport at Immigration Office Class I Pekanbaru. While the background of this research is not only Immigration Office as the place to serve public in passport, but also the persistence of public complaints related to the passport. This research is based on the interviews and observations as initial data of the writer who found that there are indications of problems such social inequalities associated kinship/relationship, diverse completion time of passport, and existing facilities at the Immigration Office Pekanbaru Class I still yet support in the continuity of passport service. The purpose of this research was to determine the analysis of service quality in passport at the Immigration Office Class I Pekanbaru.The writer used the theory of Agus Dwiyanto which consists of 5 dimensions namely, dimension of officer attitudes, procedures, time, facilities and service charges. The method used is descriptive analysis with data collection through library research and field studies (observations and interviews).Therefore, the conclusion of this research is service quality in passport at the Immigration Office Class I Pekanbaru based on each dimension, dimension of officer attitudes is not quite good, dimension of procedure is good, dimension of time has a different opinion depends on completion time of passport, facilities are quite good, service charge is not quite optimal related to information costs, so that the overall quality of service passport at the Immigration Office Class I Pekanbaru is good enough. Only Immigration Office Class I Pekanbaru to further improve the performance of services so that services are provided to the people who will make the passport can run optimally.Keywords : Quality, Service, Passport, Immigration Office, Pekanbaru

Abstract

The development of communication technology has brought many changes, one which is a mobile phone with the label smart phone (smartphone). Android is one of the types of smartphones are widely used by people at this time Android has many advantages that make many people are interested in using it, one of which is among the students. The use of Android as a communication media among students bring a variety of meanings related to the use of Android itself by them. This study aims to determine the motive, knowledge and understanding of Android applications and communications experience Android users among students of the University of Riau communication.This research method is using a qualitative research method with phenomenological approach. Informants in this study were 10 students of Communication Studies, University of Riau who use Android smartphone selected using purposive technique. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation and conclusion and verification.These results indicate that the motive of communication science students use the Android smartphone as a media communication because they consist of motifs (Because motive) the sense of dissatisfaction, the influence of friends, the look and features of interest, and also because of the need, while the motive for (in order to motives) that facilitate communication, facilitate communication and for existence itself. Knowledge and understanding of Android apps for students of Communication consists of Android as a communication media, Android as media information, and Android as a media presentation of self. Communication experience of communication science students for using Android smartphone consists of exciting experiences (positive experience) and an unpleasant experience (experience negate). An interesting experience for students of science communication using Android are, getting a lot of new friends, to be reunited with old friends as well as the experience of communicating that seemed real. While not a pleasant experience for students of science communication using the Android, Android battery run out quickly, which isnot a good communication network, communication is often misdirected, scams online shop and difficulty in arranging Android device.Keywords: Android, Construction Meaning, Phenomenology.

Abstract

Starting from President Suharto, who resigned in the middle of his reign, Habibie, who served as Vice President at the time. In accordance with the Act of 1945, replacing President Suharto. Rising Habibie became the number one in Indonesia provide a different color during the previous government, which virtually dominate the political scene for over 30 years. Leadership Style Habibie was considered able to change the national order of the nation, and can restore the confidence of the people against the people. Habibie was able to transform himself to share with followers in running the government.In looking at the relevant Habibie leadership style, the Transformational Leadership Theory allows to be used as the basis for this study. Through research technique Library Research Methods ( Studies Library ) can be seen through a short trip Habibie in his tenure in the Reformation era. Post- New Order government, leaving many tasks and problems from the east end to the west.With this kind of leadership style, Habibie piecemeal provide space for many people to be able to aspire to, express opinions in public, and give people the freedom to establish political organizations and others as the ideals of reform after the collapse of the new order.Keywords : Habibie, Transformational Leadership Style and Post- New Order.

Abstract

This study is about "Rewang tradition as in the implementation of javanese wedding party". This study intends to explain about rewang tradition as the social exchange in society in the implementation of wedding party, and the exchange tradition between one people comunity with others in the implementation of javanese wedding party. This study is located in village of Petapahan Jaya Sp-1 Tapung Kampar.In this study, the author used qualitative descriptive type of research that describes and explains the data through reasoning based logic to logical conclusions about the data being analyzed, so can to show a systematic picture of the situation about factors assosiated with the phenomenon being examined without use count statisticts. Data collection techniques is using snowball, observation interviews and documentation. Based on the data analysis, the conclusion of the rewang tradition about the exchange sistem is there are reciprocal exchange and happened so long. Then the people often refer to it as savings in the future when someday people will hold the wedding party. In the rewang tradition the things whose exchanged is not money but the things whose contents raw materials for fulfillment of the presentment in the implementation of wedding party.Keywords: Rewang, Marriage Custom, Traditional Javanese

Abstract

Social group is a collection of people who have a common awareness and membership will interact with each other. Social group or entity in the form of a set of people who live together, because of the relationship between them. The other concerns the relationship between the reciprocal relationship of mutual influence and also an awareness to help each other. Social groups can be formed by various groups, including social groups among students. The purpose of this study is (1) to explain the emergence of social groups on the student, (2) to explain the process of formation of social groups on students. Students are teenagers aged 15 to 19 years, which at that age is a time for someone to show his identity by showing works on attitude. The method used qualitative and researchers take sampling using the snowball method and researchers gain of respondents were 52 students who form a social group. Types of groups that exist in schools varied, depending on the differences between students who are in school, there are based on a common vision, recreational interests, and in support of access such as vehicles, communication devices including mobile phones and smartphones and facilities including textbooks, sports fields, sports equipment and art tools. Factors common vision, recreational interests, and in support of access is an important factor in the formation of the group.Keywords: Social Group, Students

Abstract

Public service is a very strategic role in the State upayah progress in aspired by the people in a country. Therefore, the public service that is effective, simple, clear and definite, open, efficient, timely, responsive, and adaptive. Due to good public services will materialize professional services. Professional services are expected to be done with everything including the service makes the SIM in Pekanbaru Traffic Police. The purpose of this study is to analyze the service in making the two-wheeled vehicle driver's license (SIM C) and knowing the constraints in service in the Police Satlantas Pekanbaru.Descriptive research, which is defined as the process of solving the problem was investigated by exposing or describe the state of the subject and object of research at the present time based on the facts that emerge or that way. In data collection and in-depth interviews the author conducted a search of documents and official records.The results of this study are expected to provide the following benefits: their contributions in order to develop the knowledge, especially in the field of social and political science as well as a reference to improve services, especially in making a driver's license at the Traffic Police Pekanbaru.Results of research conducted at the Traffic Police Pekanbaru through eight indicators considered quite good, but the authors suggest to the Traffic in order to improve services, especially the manufacture of a driver's license two-wheeled vehicles (SIM C) in order to achieve service excellence.Key words: Public Service, manufacture of driving license (SIM C)

Abstract

The purpose of this research is: (1) to find out and analyse the training program (2) to find out and analyse the employees performance (3) to determine the influence of the training program with employees performance in bank ICB Bumiputera Pekanbaru. This research was conducted in the offices of Bank ICB Bumiputera Pekanbaru that is located on jalan Sudirman.The research method used was quantitative. With the object of research is the Bank ICB Bumiputera Pekanbaru. With the method of data collection by means of Quisioner and interviews. Data analysis techniques using Simple Linear regression analysis. With the results of the research there is training program influences with employees performance in bank ICB Bumiputera Pekanbaru of 78,0 Percent.Keywords: Training program, employees performance.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of work environment on job satisfaction of nurses in Syafira Hospital Pekanbaru. Work environment as an independent variable (X) has been formulated by the company that physical work environment and Non-physical work environment. While job satisfaction as the dependent variable (Y). study was conducted on nurses in Syafira Hospital Pekanbaru by 63 people.Data obtained from the questionnaire and further processed and then tested using statistical analysis such as simple regression analysis , t test, correlation analysis and determination using SPSS program.The results showed that the test results of hypothesis testing. tcount(7,750) >ttable (2,000). This suggest that the work environment affect the level of job satisfaction. The magnitude of the influence of environment on job satisfaction of nurses in Syafira Hospital Pekanbaru is 49,6%.Keyword : physical work environment,Non-physical work environment and Job satisfaction.
