Abstract

This research purposed to get know how the supervisor implementation tasks in Front Office Department in Ibis Hotel Pekanbaru Riau Province and the faced constraints in the implementation tasks that supervisor did in front office department of Ibis Hotel.This research used qualitative desciptive method to analyze the problems. The sample in this research are 12 samples by using census sampling. And then the techniques to collected data in this research are using observation, questionnaire and interview. And it was using likert scale to know the length of intervals.Based on the research, respond from the staff about the implementation task of the supervisor in front office department in Ibis Hotel are planning, coordinating, briefing, controlling and evaluating. Which in briefing phaseall staffs of front office thought that the tasks implementation that suoervisor did in front office department of Ibis Hotel Pekanbaru are still less well.Key words : Tasks Implementation, Supervisor, Front Office Department, Ibis Hotel

Abstract

The research present describe the land conflict between are Pulau Jambu Village Cerenti District Kuantan Singingi Regency and Selunak Village Batang Peranap District Indragiri Hulu Regency. This conflict reason is PT. Asia Sawit Makmur Jaya (ASMJ) come to Pulau Jambu Village Cerenti District Kuantan Singingi Regency for opened a plantation land and get permit from the regent of Kuantan Singingi Regency. But, society of Selunak Village Batang Peranap District Indragiri Hulu Regency felt are founding they land is inside to the location permit, so that society of Selunak Village to claim for return them’s land because that are half of society Selunak Village occupation location. But the company is can’t answered that the request from society of Selunak Village, with the reason that land to represent of the land Pulau Jambu Village Cerenti District Kuantan Singingi Regency adjust with the permit who are given of Regent of Kuantan Singingi Regency. This conflict be continue until to aroused a fight between society Selunak Village, Pulau Jambu Village and the company.The research use the method are qualitative methods that analyze problem research by describe the subject and objects condition based on real fact. This research use location in Pulau Jambu Village Cerenti District Kuantan Singingi Regency and Selunak Village Batang Peranap District Indragiri Hulu Regency and researcher collect data from books, government regulation, journal, mass media, website and deep interview with some informan. The research use the theory of conflict and district government. Purpose of this research is for finding causes factor land conflict between Pulau Jambu Village and Selunak Village, and to knowing what the expedient that doing of district government in finished this land conflict.The conclution of this research are the conflict until now still in finishing process, each of them fixed that the land are owned. Until each of them still find out solution to finding good finishing for them.Keywords : Conflict, District Government,relic land.

Abstract

There were many phenomenons that deserved to be researched, one of thephenomenons was a bribe exploits in arresting every vehicles. That was certainly givinga positive and negative effect for the traffic warden image that was not ready been adiscipline in a rule of law equity yet.To know the result of this research, that is the reason why the researcher appliedthe collecting data technique by applying the observation technique and interviewingthe respondents. There was a way by assuming the sample or the respondents treatedwith the Accidental Sample Technique, which was a stipulation by the respondentstreated so spontaneously by people as bikers that interviewed on highway directly. Therespondents amounted to 36 persons. The researcher has totalled the deduction of 36persons based on the level of final data when the rejoinder was almost being homogenyand the researcher satisfied to expect the information. The kind of this research used bythe researcher here is the descriptive quantitative research.The result of this research indicated that it was sealed for the bribe exploits inarresting many vehicles were actually happened. So that the people perception for thetraffic warden image became a negative thing, moreover a few people were perceptivein a positive thinking. It could be seen with the perception factors, such as the individualexperience, the people experience, an interesting and a particular attention from thesocieties.The result of this research is expected to point out a general description for thereaders to collect the information about The People Perception for the Traffic WardenImage in the Sector Police of Tampan Pekanbaru.Keywords: Perception, Society, The Traffic Warden Image

Abstract

Interpersonal communication between parentas and children is an important role in enhancing the self discipline of children as a person of character. When parents separate of distance with their children, thay have to communicate with their children whom is very difficult to controll them when children still lived with them. There are problems that caused by lack of parental supervision due to children can’t control their deviant behavior. This research is done for determining the effectiveness of long dictance’s interpersonal communication between parents and children as well long distance’s communication media which used University of Riau’s student whom are in Rokan Hulu.This research used qualitative methode with research’s location in Rokan Hulu. The subject of research is 10 parents and 10 University of Riau’s students whom selected by purposive technique. In order to obtain the data, the researcher used three kinds of data collection techniques, such as participant observation, in-depth interview, and documentation.The result of research showed the first, that the effectiveness of long distance’s interpersonal communication between parents and children (study of University of Riau’s students whom lives in Rokan Hulu), there is openess that shown by parents rather than children; then deeply empathy that felt by parents to children rather than children to parents; and being supportive (supportivennes) parents whom make children feel spirit and always remember their parentss’ advices; then a positive attitude (positivennes) of parents when giving the children confidence and showing affection to the children; and the last equality attitude to be fair among the children and give the freedom to the children in making a opinion. Second, this long distance’s interpersonal communication used the visual communication media such as cell phone. Abstract

Research on children who drop in marginal communities in urban areas isdone in Kelurahan Meranti Pandak Pekanbaru city of Riau Province. This study aimsto investigate the phenomenon of drop outs in marginal areas, the ground dropped outof school, drop out of school activities, perceptions of parent. Qualitative method areused namely, with a population of 112 people, considering the total populationenough, so sampling techniques performed by means of random sampling tecniquesto select 20% the populations of 22 people refresentatif. Collection of research dataobtaiined by the method of interview, observation and documentation.Tecniqueanalysis of the data used is descriptive analysis complete with percentages. Based onthe result of the research we can conclude that the causes children dropouts villageMeranti Pandak because the own accord 40,90% to be dominant factor, economicfactors family 31,83% and environmental factors a playmate 27,27%. Are children isworking 45,5% of being predominant, activity help parents 36,6% and unemployment18.2%. The majorityof his parents for lack of good 45,5%. Abstract

Competition is a condition that can not be avoided by any company in its business. Fierce competition in industry will lead to any utilizing all resources to create a strong competitive advantage. One source of profits that can be optimized by the company to improve competitiveness is through the implementation of differentiation strategy. This study aimed to analyze the effect of the differentiation strategy on competitive advantage in the SKA Mall Hypermart Pekanbaru. The data used is primary data obtained by distributing questionnaires too 100 respondents that consumers who make purchase at the SKA Mall Hypermart Pekanbaru. While making the determination of the number respondents is by using sampling techniques accidental. Aspects of the measurement of the data analyzed done with the formation of indicators on eath statement submited by using the likert scale. In response interval between 1 (disagree) to 5 (strongly agree). Model analysis of the data used in this study using simple regression. The result found that indicators of differentiation strategy, namely product differentiation, service differentiation, personnel differentiation and differentiation image effect on competitive advantage at the SKA Mall Hypermart Pekanbaru. These findings indicate that companies can win the competition. Then it must be able to maintain a competitive advantage, namely the differentiation strategy.Keywords : Differentiation Strategy, Competitive Advantage

Abstract

Blood donor is blood transfusion activity from healthy to the unhealthy person. Riau PMI succeeded in increasing quantity of voluntary blood donors at Pekanbaru City by proactive system,that Riau PMI came around people by blood donor cars that who want to donor for voluntarily. Voluntary blood donors is activity without reward and compulsion from any party. This research aims to know Persuasive communication strategy of Riau PMI to determine persuader and persuade, to increase quantity of voluntary blood donors,to know how they make instruction,channel used and persuasive technique to the Public.This research using qualitative methods with the presentation of descriptive analysis. Informants in this study use five person from Riau PMI. while the research object is Persuasive communication strategy Riau PMI to increase quantity of voluntary blood donors. Data collection techniques used were observation, interview and documentation. To reach out validity data in this research, researcher used extension, participation and triangulation.The results obtained,persuader selected based on expertise in communicating and experience from member and staff of Riau PMI,persuade based on information obtained but no determination of the people who will persuasive method because all people can be invite to blood donor but not necessarily can to do blood donor, message delivered in the form of information about the blood donor by using short language and repeated, so that message delivered in the form of verbal or written, there are three communication persuasive techniques that using by Riau PMI, integrity technique is capability persuader uniting themselves with persuade, the association technique is message delivered using the object of interest, reward techniques is influence by giving profitable tantalizing. That three technique support communication channels face to face and verbal or written message in to pasuasive communication used by Riau PMI. By following Formula AIDDA, Riau PMI conduct persuasive through a rational process which touches the cognitive and emotional aspects of society, in persuasive communication strategy known as psychodynamic strategy.Keywords: Persuasive Communication Strategy, Donor Blood, PMI Riau

Abstract

The background of this research with theThe existence of absorption wells is one of theprocedures that must be completed to the requirements of development shop. Absorption wellsis very important for the shop building, where a very positive function in absorbing water.With so can anticipate floodwaters around the shop building. The existence of infiltrationwells are not all owned by the owner of the shop building.The method used in this study qualitative research methods. Data collection techniquesin research, interviews, search documentation, observation. Source of data in this study areprimary data and secondary data.Based on the results of research conducted in the Department of City Spatialpengasawan Pekanbaru in coaching and guidance isGiven the organization of the building tofit Pekanbaru City Regional Regulation No. 7 of 2012 on Building Permits.Empowerment bySpatial Agency Pekanbaru through socialization by holding seminars to all district head,headman, associations, government offices and private se Pekanbar City, Spatial Agency alsoput ads on the radio RRI, and the Department of Spatial Pekanbaru installing billboardsplaces general.Supervision maximum is not done by the Department of Spatial PekanbaruCity for human resources are not adequate to conduct surveillance, minimal funding sourcesto conduct supervision and coaching, then the low level of public awareness of governmentregulations. Inhibiting Spatial Agency Pekanbaru in fostering human resources areinadequate to conduct training and supervision, as Spatial Agency only had 14 people incharge of doing the coaching and supervision. Lack of budget owned Spatial Agency therebyinhibiting to conduct supervision and guidance to the building that violates the rules and donot have permission. Abstract

Schoolis an educational in stitution that is created by government to educate childrenas a step to prepare the child's potentialin order to achieve the country's progress. Meaning of school for students and parentsa place to study and place to wardsa bright future.This study a imed to analyze the meaning of school for students and parents. there are factstostate schools is a form of building that can make the school as the center of attention in the community, the parents and the students who attend school. From the school situation, it appears the various positive and negative assumptionsas of the assessment for students and parents to the school situation. Subjec tsandin for mants here are community leaders, teachers, parents and students. To analyze the data conducted qualitative research, the data were collected and analyzed with descriptive qualitative technique. Descriptive qualitative techniqueis one kind of qualitative research that is used to express the state of education in the school.Researchers in this caseattempted to describe the state of the school sareoccupied by students. This research was conductedin the village Bencah Umbai, from there sults showed that of the views of child renand parentsin understanding schoolas a place of study and the school makes a success ful child. What is meant by the school where study in gis the schoolis an institution designed for the teaching or students under the supervision of teacher education. Most countries have systems of for maleducation, which is generally required, in order to create students in order to progress after going througha learning process. School became one of the for mation of personality and intell ectual development of the child, the school not only as avenue for the learning process, but also the educational process. School is a symbol for the acquisition of know ledge. Actually, that dete rmines the success of a person is not the one school, but the people who go to school, and depend on ourselves.
