Abstract

Go Green and Global Warming are two word expression often heard in the last several years. Global warming is the effect which is caused by the inability of the atmosphere in accomodating various kinds of gases thrown up by the earth. Because of that, a company has a responsibility taking care of environment through socializing plantings or it is wellknown as Go Green. One of the company concerns about the environment is through the activity of Go Green campaign. In doing socialization, PR Indah Kiat Pulp and Paper (IKPP) company tried to approach emplyoyees, particularly those who handled employee problems. By applying this strategy, PR could understand the condition directly from the employees, looking at the problems from different points of view so that socialization could run well. This research aimed to look at employee relation approach used by PR Indah KIat Pulp and Paper company in socializing Go Green program at the internal company.This is a descriptive qualitative research. The object of the research was the strategy of employee relations at IKPP company. The researcher used purposive sampling technique to decide the subjects of the research i.e. all informants that fulfilled the research needs. They consisted of 9 persons with key informant the Chief of Public Relation Division Bureau of IKPP company together with the staffs. The techniques used to collect the data were deep observation, interview and documentation.The result of the research was that the socialisation of Go Green program was the strategy planned to show the company concern about the environment through plantation activities which were environmentally friendly. In doing socialization, PR used employee relation approach by applying employee communications strategy, i.e having good communication and interacting each other with employees, employee attitude surveys which functioned as a control and gave evaluation about employee performance, employee counseling which provided consultation and information services needed by employees, and profit sharing as remuneration on the contribution given by employees toward the company. There were also some constraints in applying those strategies, ie. the dense of employee working hours causing limited appropriate time to socialize Go Green program better.Key Words: Employee Relation Approach, „Go Green‟ Program

Abstract

This research aims to know the effect of the promotion strategy on consumer satisfaction (case sales Dumai comfort hotel accommodation services).The data used are primary data and secondary data. sub-variables under study consists of advertising, personal selling, sales promotion, publicity, direct marketing. The analysis used is descriptive analysis and simple linear regression analysis using SPSS version 17. Sampling was performed by the method of accidental sampling with a sample size of 100 respondents.Results of research conducted by a simple linear regression analysis obtained coefficient value of 0.799, which that any changes in the independent variables promotion strategy will affect the dependent variable customer satisfaction. Based on these results it can be concluded that the value of the correlation coefficient has a value that is strong, it means that there is the influence of promotional strategy on customer satisfaction.Keywords: Promotion Strategy and Customer Satisfaction.

Abstract

Implementation of the National Health Insurance (JKN) By The Nation-al Security Agency (BPJS) Health Branch of Pekanbaru. This study aims to determine clearly the implementation of National Health Insurance in the city of Pekanbaru which is running by the Social Security Organizing Body (BPJS) Health Branch of Pekanbaru, and to know the constraints in the implementation of JKN by BPJS Health, as well as efforts to overcome these obstacles.This study is a descriptive research. The data used are primary data and secondary data. Primary data were sourced from the officials and officers who are directly dealing with the implementation of the National Health Insurance (JKN) by BPJS Health Branch of Pekanbaru, and also the participants of the Health BPJS. Secondary data were obtained through the literature relating to the title of the thesis. Techniques of data collection was done by using observation, inter-view, and literature. After the data collected was then analyzed qualitatively. Based on the analysis that has been done can be concluded that the implementa-tion of the JKN in Pekanbaru City are fully implemented by the Health BPJS Pekanbaru City branch, assisted by stage holder, regulated in the Law of the Re-public of Indonesia Number 40 Year 2004 on National Social Security System and the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 24 Year 2011 About the Social Security Agency.Implementation of National Health Insurance in the city of Pekanbaru that has lasted from January 2014,runs very well because of the great support of each stage holder and also high public interest against BPJS Health. But there are still obstacles in terms of people's understanding of the procedure and also super-vision services must be made to the hospital in terms of service and explanation to the patients.Keywords: Implementation, National Health Insurance, HealthBPJS.

Abstract

Differentiation strategy is a strategy that saw that the resulting product has a differentand unique compared to other similar products . The stages of differentiation strategyin this stage is the differentiation of products / services , image differentiation anddifferentiation of personnel . Customer satisfaction is the level of consumer feelingafter using a product if the product has met what diharakannya . Where the customersatisfaction is considered there are five aspects , namely the reliability of the hotel ,the hotel responsiveness , assurance given to the employees of the hotel , the hotelstaff 's attention to hotel guests and physical appearance .Grand Jatra Hotel Pekanbaru is the accommodation establishments locatedin Pekanbaru , where this hotel is a five-star hotel . The hotel is located center of thecity and within easy reach of entertainment and spending . As hotels classified infive-star hotel , the Hotel Grand Jatra Hotel Pekanbaru is adequate with a strategiclocation that is in the city center , has interesting buildings and facilities - fsilitasfairly complete. Based on the analysis of this study showed that the differentiationstrategy has a positive influence on consumer kepuasn Jatra Hotel Pekanbaru . HiThis can be seen from the analysis are known from the t ( 39.480 ) > t table ( 3.920 )and sig ( 0,000 ) < 0.05 . So the hypothesis that there is a differentiation strategy toinfluence consumer satisfaction can be accepted .Keywords : Differentiation Strategy , Customer Satisfaction

Abstract

Increased population growth and high mobility that occurred in Pekanbarucity requires adequate tools transfortation. City Bus is one of the modestransfortation in Pekanbaru city. Situation on the ground, conditions City Busoperating in Pekanbaru city on the wane and have poor condition, all on aging. Inaddition to the physical condition of complete comfort and safety of the vehicleare also many that do not exist. To complete transfortation tool that is safe,convenient and adequate, then the Department of Transportation Communicationand Information Pekanbaru City to controling the examination roadworthyvehicles operating in Pekanbaru city.Theory concept used is the theory of control, the indicators in this study asthe standard setting process, the process of assessment and corrective actionprocesses. While the informant of research in ground is the head of UPTD VehicleTesting, UPTD staff, employees and the owner or driver of a City Bus. This studyis a qualitative descriptive study.From the research can be concluded that the surveillance conducted UPTDVehicle Testing Pekanbaru City is still less than the maximum, this is becausethere are many vehicles or buses operating in Pekanbaru city that has passedtesting but his condition is still worrying or not roadworthy.Keywords: Management, Controlling, Transfortation

Abstract

This research purposed to get known about how the mangrove ecoturism as the areas ofcultural resources and protection of cultural values in Dumai.This research used qualitative desciptive method to analyze the problems. Samples on thisresearch are 12 samples decided by cencus sampling. Whereas data collection techniques tookby observation, questionnaire, interview and documentation. And it was using likert scale toknow the length of intervals.Based on the research results, Bandar Bakau areas has already protected the naturalresources and the cultural values that Dumai city have. As for the most dominant benefit ofhaving this areas are for protection for ecological processes and conservation for biodiversityand also for preserving and protecting the local cultural values. However from seven benefit ofhaving a mangrove conservation, there are still have two benefit that still haven’t optimallyavailable in Bandar Bakau. Abstract

Kurniadi, the Perception of Indigenous People (orang asli) to Education.Thesis, Sociology Department, Social Science and Politics Faculty, University ofRiau. The advisor Drs. Jonyanis, Msi. Orang Asli (indigenous people) are societyof suku akit that live with manage the resource of poor. They have difficulties tofree of poor because they have some limited in quality of human resource, accessand technology, market and capital. Society is main characters in development. Tofind out the potency of human, so that we need education. The implementation ofthe education is our responsibility between family, school and society. Educationof children is influenced by some factors they are condition of social economyand the environment of someone live are not same, the mores, habit,psychologies, bureaucracy, the sense and behavior to school, etc. Based onbackground above and basic of mind, the formulation of the problem is: how theperception of indigenous people (orang asli) to children education in Desa SungaiUpih district of Kuala Kampar sub province of Pelalawan, and what the factorsthat influence the perception orang asli to children education in Desa SungaiUpih district of Kuala Kampar sub province of Pelalawan. The purpose of thisresearch are to know the perception of orang asli to education in Desa SungaiUpih district of Kuala Kampar sub province of Pelalawan, and to know thefacctors that influence the perception of orang asli to children education in DesaSungai Upih. This research is qualitative approach and kind of descriptive.Collected the data have done with use observation method, interview, anddocumentation. And then, the data that collected are words that analyze withanalysis descriptive qualitative technique. From the result of discussion andresearch the writer can conclude: how the perception of indigenous people (orangasli) to children education in Desa Sungai Upih district of Kuala Kampar subprovince of Pelalawan is important but only limited to interpret so that thechildren can read and write. While, the factors that influence the perception orangasli to children education in Desa Sungai Upih are the education of parent is low,prosperity, the mores, the expense of school is high, the environment of schooland school distance.Keywords: Indigenous People (orang asli), the Perception and Education.

The question is if the structure of the questionnaire has been availableabout the possible answers. Data collection techniques will be carried out in this study byusing in-depth interview techniques is by using questionnaires.The results show respondents are not discipline-causing factors in driving a twowheeledmotorcycle in Pekanbaru Handsome districts seen from the characteristics ofrespondents who violate terms of age, from the age of 15-30 years, by gender of most men,education level of the respondents in violation of junior high school to university, Triberespondents who violate the Minang, religion professed by respondents who violate theIslamic religion. views of the respondents did not factor causes traffic discipline in theabsence of a sense of concern for others, are not concerned with the safety of both for himselfand the safety of others, lack of discipline of the respondents in traffic, especially for ridersof two-wheeled motorcycles. Abstract

Rice the staple food of the people of Indonesia, especially in Riau, it formed a policy for Improved Rice production in order to increase rice production in Riau, the Riau prosperous Food Operations program covering Increased Investment Index IP 100 - IP 200, Rehabilitation of Abandoned Rice Fields and New Print. At this time the author focuses on the research Pelalawan. This study aims to identify the implementation OPRM in Pelalawan and to identify factors - factors that affect the implementation of OPRM.The research method used is qualitative descriptive , which explains the problem in detail with the correct data retrieval and accurate as well as see the conditions that occurred during the program is realized.The results of this study concluded that the factors supporting the implementation OPRM in Pelalawan is the human resources support, especially support the agricultural land in Kuala Kampar, POSKO Coordination run very effectively which is characterized by frequent execution coordination meetings, running His organization structure, as well as the budget available and the direct supervision of spaciousness.
