Abstract

This research will describes about Nias Strategic Development Partnership (NSDP). Nias Islands in North Sumatera well-known as “surfing dreamland” because some beaches in Nias Islands have perfect waves for surfing activity. This islands also perfect place for swimming, diving, or snorkeling. In other hand, this islands have unique culture and history such stones-jumping, megalith sites, and tradisional houses which have great potential as culture tourism. Unfortunetly, this tourism potential not managed professionally. Then, the local government of Nias Islands made a cooperation with Republic os Seychelles to help development tourism sector in Nias Islands. This research combining two methods between field research and library research to get all data and information. Field research excuted in Nias Island, especially in Gunung Sitoli City, South Nias Regency, and North Nias Regency. In other hand, library research collect some data and information from books, journals, and websites. This research use international cooperation theory and cultural diplomacy concept. The Government in entire Nias Islands promote their potential in tourism and culture to get attention of Republic of Seychelles. In other hand, the ambassador of Republic of Seychelles also offerring to help build the tourism sector in Nias Islands. The program of NSDP are focused to build tourism sector in Nias Islands such promote Nias Islands tourism and culture to the world, and build new resorst and hotels program. Beside that, NSDP also has another program such introduce Blue Economy and Responsible Fisheries to Nias Islands, build new eco-friendly energy resources, and agricultural program. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to explain obstacles of the cooperation Riau Province and Singapore in Organic Agriculture especially organic vegetable. The first time, both of countries signed Memorandum of Understanding in October 2001. The core of agreement is that Riau Province will export organic vegetable to Singapore as one country which has big potential vegetable market. Position of Singapore adjacent to Indonesia to provide advantages for Indonesia. Easy transport links made production costs low so that the larger profits earned by both of countries. In 2004-2008 the export of organic vegetables to Singapore Riau smoothly, and then vacuum caused due to a problem. And in 2014 Riau conduct re-export, but only lasted two months, namely in February and March. After that the export vacuum until now. This research applies pluralism perspective which considers that the state is not the only actor who plays a role in international relations, including in international trade transactions. As directives in this research, the author establishes nation-state as the level of analysis in this study. In accordance with the fact that the main object of international relations is the nation-state. And The theory used in this research is the theory of comparative advantage. This research applies research methods and literature (Library Research). The data in this study consisted of primary data and secondary data. Primary data was conducted by interview and observation. Secondary data were obtained from a collection of readings, namely: books, documents, internet and other readings that are related to the issues discussed. Abstract

This research describes role of the World Health Organization in handle the spread of the Ebola outbreak in West Africa. World Health Organization has declared an emergency situation on the international health Ebola outbreak in West Africa, especially in Guneia, Lieberia and Sierra Leone which is a major threat to global security. World Health Organization has named the ebola virus as the virus must alert by the whole world. World Helath Organization asked all authorities to participate take the necessary action to prevent Ebola. World Health Organization wants a work programs and activities in the improvement of health services in countries affected Ebola is so far very bad. This study applies qualitative research method with library research. The data sources are from books, journals, and the internet. This study uses the role of international organizations theory and non-state level of analysis. The research shows that World Health Organization has an important role in handle with outbreaks Ebola in West Africa, especially in Gunie, Liberia and Sierra Leone. Through policy and strategy shape the draft strategy plan to eradicate outbreak of Ebola, the United Nations Mission for Ebola Emergency Response (UNMEER) to urgent international cooperation in eradicate Ebola in West Africa. Abstract

This research explains implementation of the rules of the International Convention Against Doping in Sport in Indonesia (Case Study: Implementation of the Pekan Olahraga Nasional (PON) XVIII in Riau province in 2012). Doping is giving a drug or substance orally or parenterally to an athlete in a competition with the main objective to improve the performance of improperly. The use of doping in sport has been declared prohibited (illegal). In the 33rd session of the UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Culture Organization) meeting on 19 October 2005 in Paris (France), the participating countries approved the contents of the international convention against doping in sport (International Convention Against Doping in Sport). The case of the use of doping can be found both on the national and international sporting events. One case of the use of doping in sport can be found in national sporting events namely PON XVIII in Riau Province in 2012. The final result of this research is the implementation of the International Convention Against Doping In Sport in Indonesia (Case Study: Implementation of the Pekan Olahraga Nasional (PON) XVIII in Riau Province in 2012) was conducted using precautions, doping control and sanctions for doping users in PON XVIII. The Government of Indonesia respect the the noble values of sport, Indonesia accepted the convention are realized with the establishment of Presidential Decree No. 101 of 2007 on the Ratification of the International Convention Against Doping in Sport, and the prohibition on the use of doping has been regulated in Article 85 of Law No. 3 of 2005 on Sports System..Keyword : Doping, International Convention, Implementation, Prevention, Doping Control , Giving sanctions.

Abstract

Nowadays, there are a lot of people who fell into the dark side of the world, drugs. There are a lot of people who started using drugs. This is such a bad phenomenon that happened in the society, especially in teenagers. This problem has affected all the activities. Using drugs is a big problem as well as fighting among people with no reason, free sex, etc. But using drugs is one of most big topics that people always talk about. In this problem, the drug addicts came from any kind of economic level. Not only wealthy people, but poor people also did this. Fortunately, In Pekanbaru, there is a place for those people who want to start a new life, a place for rehabilitation, which called Mental Hospital Tampan. But, we can still find some minus from this program. Mental Hospital Tampan still needs more psychologist to participate on this program. Psychologist, a person who can talk to the drug addicts in distinctive way, and in a distinctive room. So the drug addicts can talk about their personality without being scared of people would listen to their problems. By doing this program, we found that the number of people doing drugs decreases. This program really helpful for people in Pekanbaru. This research aims to know all the strategies that the psychologist has been using, how the psychologist talk to the drug addicts, when does the psychologist tell all the important things to the drug addicts, and what is the effect of doing this program.This research uses qualitative method, where all the data has been gotten from observation, interview, and documentation. There are 5 informant, which consist of (drug agency managers, head of the rehabilitation unit, administrator, counselor, and resident). Analytical data techniques that has been using in this research is Milles and Huberman techniques.The result of the research showed that persuasive communication in Mental Hospital Tampan has been applied some methods. One of the methods is approaching the drug addicts and giving them some motivation as well as advices that affect to their way of thinking. So they can think clearly and think about positive things. The other methods is very unique. The psychologist hand the information by movies that motivating the drug addicts, not by any electronic devices. The time the psychologist delivers the information is depends on the time that the psychologist and the resident has been determined before. The biggest aim of this program is to change the way drug addicts think and to change their attitude to a better one.Keyword :Persuasive Communication, Rehabilitation, Drug

Abstract

This Study describes about Motivation of parents send their children to integrated Islamic School in Al-Madinah, Pekanbaru. Motivation Parents can be seen through some of the indicators , namely social status, facilities and infrastructure, religious values and achievements.The study population is parents who send their children in integrated school Islam Al-Madinah city of Pekanbaru. Sampling method used in this study is proportionate stratified sampling techniques and data analysis used is descriptive and quantitative analysis.Data collected by using questionnaires, interviews, and documentation contained in the tabulation of the data. The theory used is the theory of Motivation and Rational Choice Theory.The purpose of this study is for know the motivation of parents to send children in integrated Islam school Al-Madinah Pekanbaru and know the expectations of parents after child education in primary school Islam Al-Madinah Pekanbaru.Results from this study is that Motivation Parents send their children to integrated islam school Al-Madinah because the parents has to have the mindset that developed, the parents hope children are schooled in Islamic schools in the future can have a strong religious foundation, high discipline as well as various another achievement. Abstract

Brand image or brand image is how a brand influence perceptions, views of the public or consumers against the company or its products. Purchasing decisions is the attitude of a person to buy or use a product in the form of goods or services that have been believed would satisfy him and willingness to bear risks that may ditimbulkanya. Purchasing decisions taken by the buyer is actually a collection of a number of decisions were organized.This research was conducted at Suzuki PT. Riau Jaya Cemerlang is located in Jalan Tuanku Tambusai (jackfruit) 18 Pekanbaru. The purpose of this research was conducted to determine the effect of brand image on purchase decision satria fu Suzuki motorcycle 150 cc at PT. Riau Jaya Cemerlang.In this research methodology is descriptive and quantitative with SPSS, where samples were used that consumers PT. Riau Jaya Cemerlang and as a source of information is the HRD, and marketing Manager. To determine the sample using the formula Slovin, sampling with accidental sampling method. Techniques of collecting data through interviews, observation and questionnaires.From the results of data analysis includes test validity, reliability, and simple linear regression, brand image in the study include the brand advantage, brand strength, the uniqueness of the brand. Abstract

Creating a local development plan of Padang Panjang Government issued Regulation No. 7 Year 2014 on Medium Term Development Plan (RPJMD), one of which includes the development planning of traditional markets in the city of Padang Panjang. This traditional market development plan created with the aim to improve public visits to these markets and boost the economy of traders who sell in the traditional market area in the city of Padang Panjang this. From observations of researchers in the field of this market is no longer effective for use with the condition that a chaotic and disorganized as this present moment. Buyers who visit has also been much lower since 2012 than in the previous year. The purpose of this research is how the traditional market development plan that has been planned by the government of Padang Panjang and determine the factors that affect the development planning of traditional markets in the city of Padang Panjang.This research was conducted in the Office of Market Management Padang Panjang, by using descriptive qualitative research, with data collection techniques of observation and interviews. This research was conducted by using the theory according to Munir ie policy making, programming and budgeting.Results of this study concluded that the construction of the traditional market in the city of Padang Panjang is not going well. This is evidenced by the slow implementation of development of traditional markets where construction according RPJMD regulation should have been started since the year 2013, but until now the market development is still in the form of planning. This happens because many traders are still concerned about the development of this market and the weakness of the government in implementing development policies this traditional market.Keywords: Planning, Development, Traditional Market

Abstract

Hemophiliacs in Pekanbaru, with all the limitations that they have still capable to perform and complete their daily chores that require physical activity. For hemophiliacs, doing physical activity just like people in general will be harder, because when they do those physical activities, the joints in some parts of their body will ache and raise the bruises, this is caused by a lack of blood clotting factor. This study aims to determine the components of perceptual , conceptual component , the component attitudes, and communication experience hemophiliacs in PekanbaruThis study uses qualitative research methodology by conducting phenomenological approach. Subjects in this study consist of five people. Data collection techniques are grouped into three sections, which are; in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation. This study uses the Miles and Hubermen model of interactive data analysis system, by using the validity checking technique of the data through the extension of participation and triangulation.The result of this study showed that people with hemophilia in Pekanbaru if we look from the positive side of its perceptual components are just like people in general, they are cheerful, comfortable with their environment and there is no sense of shame, while its negative side is they sometimes less grateful and feel embarrassed. In the view of the positive side of its conceptual components, hemophilia sufferers tend to be responsible, humorous, rarely feel sad and often confident, but its negative side can be seen from a more reserved attitude. Then, focusing on the attitude component, the positive side which is owned by hemophiliacs is their friendly act, pleasant and helpful, but the fear of being alienated is the negative side of the patient. Meanwhile, based on the experience of communication, hemophiliacs in Pekanbaru have been able to implement a good and pleasant communication such as a sense of pride and pleasure, acceptance and friendship and more attention from the family, but there is a little less pleasant communication experience such as a fear of the opposite sex, discrimination and verbal or non-verbal harassment.Keywords: Self-concept, phenomenology, and hemophili

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the facility management of cultural heritage attractions tomb of King Kecik village of Great Buantan Siak Riau Province.In this study the research methods that I use is a qualitative method with descriptive approach, where researchers tried to describe the actual condition or state by collecting data and information in the field and explain in narrative form without test hypotheses or make predictions before. While data collection techniques in this study using observation, interviews and documentation.Based on the research that has been done, the management of the tomb of King Kecik already well underway just that there are still some facilities that are not functioning optimally and there are still some unmet facilities such as places to eat, drink, where the sale of souvenirs and so forth.Keywords: Facilities Management, Facilities Attractions, Tomb Kings Kecik
