Abstract

Siak District Government through the Department of Social Welfare and Labor began to run a program created by the central government to improve the social welfare of society. The purpose of the program with social welfare problems is to improve people's quality of life and social welfare to all the poor and not able to achieve an optimal degree of public life effectively and efficiently. One of the goals of this program is the Community or poor families. Implementation Program with social welfare problems in Sungai Apit in 2011, it can be concluded that the poor implementation of the program problems had not been effective. Abstract

The research was done in the city Pekanbaru. The sampling methode using purposive sampling methode Where researchers took samples to determine in advance the number of samples to be taken. One informant willing to be interviewed and have a network of social media then one informant affiliated to a group or gangster srik lovers consisting of six people who then of six people who then also willing to be interviewed so as to collect research data determined several informants. In this study researchers set six informant which is derivedfrom the alley srik lovers which consists of six people who are gay including groups that exist in pekanbaru. The existence of homosexuality is a social phenomena that exists around indonesian in general, including those of the city Pekanbaru. Problems faced by homosexuals today is how to put themselves in the life of society. Because of their presence are still in said foreign in life and a little difficult to accept. Many people widely assumed to be a homosexual only be a disgrace to disgrace themselves and the families of people who were in the vicinity. But the reality of homosexsuals are increasingly showing their presence by establhising a set of some people to form a community of social media networks so that their existence is increasingly showing his identity. Then more open acsess social media as a platform for the city’s gay community Pekanbaru also gives color gay openness to the general public. Although gays are still considered taboo by society but this circle more confirms his or her identity the wide variety of specialized online social media as a platform where friendship gay meeting to matchmaking in these circles. Abstract

The problem in this research is still a lack of service perceived by the patient as the length of time to wait for the desired patient's physician, the incompatibility of room facilities with costs to be incurred by the patient and a decrease in the number of inpatients and the value of existing BOR performing hospitals still not ideal. The purpose of the study is to determine and analyze the quality of health services at the Mother And Child Hospital Eria Bunda Pekanbaru, and to know the inhibiting factors in the quality of health services at the Mother And Child Hospital Eria Bunda Pekanbaru. The study concluded that health services in the Mother And Child Hospital Eria Bunda Pekanbaru which includes an tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance and empathy, where health services the Mother and Child Hospital Eria Bunda Pekanbaru overall good. Nevertheless there are still shortcomings perceived by consumers. While the inhibiting factors of health services at the Mother and Child Hospital Eria Bunda Pekanbaru is still a lack of qualified doctors remain, particularly obstetricians in Mother and Child Hospital Eria Bunda Pekanbaru, physical facilities in the rooms of hospitalization, especially for room in class I, II and III, are still using the old stuff and the absence of facilities like television, room for classes II and III were deemed sufficiently narrow with 2 to 3 beds and air-conditioning that is only one piece, thus making the room feel heat, the difference in care for patients with President Suite and VIP rooms with patients in class I, II and III. Abstract

This research was conducted at the Faculty of Social and Political Science, University of Riau in order to obtain information on the effect of warning the dangers of smoking to changes in smoking behavior of students. Problems in this study were (1) How motif smoking behavior of students in the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences? (2) What are the perceptions of students in the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences billboard warning against smoking? (3) How much influence billboard warning of smoking on smoking behavior of students in the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences ?. The title of this research is "The Effect of Changes Warning Against Smoking Smoking Behavior among Students in the Faculty of Social and Political Science, University of Riau". This type of research is quantitative descriptive described hereinafter in accordance with the actual situation. The collection of data through observation and direct interview to the respondent. Because students who smoked countless then used a technique sampling using purposive sampling technique is a technique determination of sample with a certain consideration. The number of samples in this study as many as 35 people. The data collected from the research, were processed using a frequency table with a percentage. The results showed that the absence of the effect of warning the dangers of smoking to changes in smoking behavior of students, this is evidenced by the absence of a reduction in the frequency of smoking and the lack of action taken against warning the dangers of smoking by students. Abstract

This research aimed to implementation of bellboy duty of front office department at Grand Central Hotel Pekanbaru. This research aims : (1) to know show the bellboy duty implementation of front office department at Grand Central Hotel Pekanbaru, (2) to knows the resistance of bellboy duty implementation of front office department at Grand Central Hotel Pekanbaru. sample in this research are the Front Office Manager, Assistant Front Office Manager and Supervisor Front Office Department Grand Central Hotel Pekanbaru as an key informan. This research uses descriptive method to clarify the issues raised in this research. the results of this research indicate that based on the research results obtained on bellboy duty implementation of front office department at Grand Central Hotel Pekanbaru could be good enough. this is proved by the result of observation and interview was doing by researcher. constraints implementation of bellboy duty of front office department at Grand Central Hotel Pekanbaru: (1)Bellboy Grand Central Hotel Pekanbaru have to increase their ability on service quality. (2) Grand Central Hotel Pekanbaru still have problems to do the bellboy implementation, such as languange problems, rolling system and tools system. Abstract

The development of information and communication technologies become a topic which widely discussed at this time especially when associated with the functions of government. The implementation of government using information and communication technologies in its development known as e-Government. It has the aim to improve the quality of public service, increas the efficiency and public transparency. As well as many other positive benefits. E-Government is a new innovation that needs to be done by government institutions. The Local Government of Riau Province in this case trying to realize the Law Decree No. 14 of 2008 concerning public disclosure through the implementation of website as a media of public information in the Riau Provincial Government. The applied media public information is www.riau.go.id as the official portal of Riau Provincial Government and this as a bridge of communication between the Local Government with public and Local Government with other Local Governments. This study used descriptive method with qualitative approach. The object of this study is the implementation of electronic government (e-gov) through the implementation website of Riau Provincial Government to achieve public transparency with the subject of 10 people. 6 people from the communications of informatics and electronics data processing department, 3 people from the user public, and 1 person from the public relations bureau secretariat of Riau Province by taking subjects using purposive sampling technique. The data collection technique in this study using in-depth observation, interview and documentation. The result of this study is public service that exist in this e-Gov has 3 classes, namely class publication, class interaction, and class transaction. Riau Provincial Government showed that the implementation of government website in class publication and class interaction have been done, while the class transaction they can not do it. In class publication, Riau Provincial Government has provided a variety if data and information in the form of news and documentations (photos and video) that can be accessed by public freely and transparently. In class interaction, it has provided facility for people to be able to participate through this website, as fas as this form of interaction that is available in the form of indirect interaction. Abstract

This research was conductedin Riau Kepri Bank, Pasir Pengaraian branch. this research aimsto determine the effect of service quality loward customer satisfaction. Service quality as independent variable(x) and customer satisfaction as independent variable (y). The research sample are 99 respondents of the population by using the slovin formula. Data was obtained from the questionnaire and subsequently processed to then be tested with the help of statistics through SPSS. Abstract

Market housewife is a very lucrative market segment, mengingatukuran (market size) and growth (market growth) were fantastic. It is often underestimated by marketers because during the many who think that the mother is simply a mother whose job taking care of her husband and children. Despite the fact that a mother is not only to control the purchase of her children and her husband, but furthermore, it triggers a domino effect, where the mother affects the purchase of other families so that it can be said that the economic role of women is very large. This is due to factors for the change of the demographic, economic, social, and cultural in women that led to the dominance of women stronger in general. The research aimed to determine the characteristics of a homemaker, housewife's behavior and to determine the factors that influence the behavior apasajakah housewives who shop at Sandalwood Spa Village District of New Labuh Umbrella Sekaki Pekanbaru. The theory is used to answer the problem formulation in this study the authors adopted the social exchange theory. The study design used is descriptive integrates mixed method approach is a combination of quantitative and qualitative research. Respondents were taken from a housewife shopping at supermarkets sandalwood which already meet the characteristics strived to achieve the target as many as 50 people and collecting data using questionnaires and observation method. The results showed that the characteristics of the housewives of the most widely shopped at Sandalwood Spa Village District of New Labuh Umbrella Sekaki Pekanbaru are housewives whose age was 31-40 years. Behavior housewife shopping at Sandalwood Spa influenced the social exchange theory as seen from the successful propositions, propositions stimulation, value propositions and proposition rationality. The most dominant factor influencing the behavior of housewives who shop at Sandalwood Spa Village District of New Labuh Umbrella Sekaki Pekanbaru is the personal factor. Abstract

The study is conducted at resty tower hotel pekanbaru, the purpose of this research is to find to determine marketing mix factors that influence on consumer satisfaction at Resty Tower Hotel. Marketing mix as the independent variable ( x ).Meanwhile, the customer satisfaction as dependent variable ( y ). The problem in this research is the sales in service room at resty tower hotel pekanbaru did not reach the target. The percentage of sales services seen from the hotel room with a fluctuation on purchase of services rooms within five years. The samples taken from 100 respondents from population by using formulas slovin. Data obtained from the results of a questionnaire and then processed to be tested by statistic program through spss. The results obtained from calculation is that marketing mix had positive impact on consumer satisfaction at the resty tower hotel pekanbaru. Abstract

Based on the Regulation of the Health Minister of the Republic Indonesia Number 012 Year 2012 about Hospital Accreditation, Hospital are required to follow the national accreditation in order to increase the competitiveness and quality of hospital services. Currently district general hospital Meranti islands still not getting accreditation status. Strategy to increase hospital accreditation status are the steps that have been planned and implemented in a district general hospital Meranti islands to obtain the status of hospital accreditation. The research aims to determine how the strategy to increase the status of accreditation and factors that affect the strategy set by the Meranti Islands Regency General Hospital. The author uses SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Oppurtunities, Threats). This study used a qualitative descriptive approach using key informan methods with data collecting technique using interviews, observation, and documentation. Results of this research is the Strategy to Increase Hospital Accreditation Status in Regional General Hospital (Hospital) Meranti Islands Regency has not been effective this is because the Meranti Islands Regency General Hospital has not been able to optimize the strengths and opportunities of the hospital. Factors affecting among other things: Quality and Quantity of Human Resources, Budget Planning, Monitoring and Socialization Accreditation and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
