Abstract

Batak Toba traditional wedding ceremony is one of the unique cultural heritagevalues are present and thrive in the city of Pekanbaru. In a traditional wedding ceremonyBatak Toba there are aspects that are rich in symbolic meaning of the represented physicalobjects and food and speech. The aim of the study is to determine the meaning of thesymbolic situation, meaning the product of social interaction and meaning interpretation ofthe traditional wedding ceremony Batak Toba in Pekanbaru.This study used qualitative methods to approach symbolic interaction. Informants inthis study is parhata / protocols that exist on Batak Toba traditional wedding ceremony inSingapore as well as parents and guests who were there at the marriage ceremonies.Techniques of data collection is done through observation, interview, and documentation.The results showed that the situation of symbolic meaning in traditional weddingceremony Batak Toba in Pekanbaru consist of physical objects includes ihan (fish), mandarhela (gloves groom), Ulos (shawl) and Boras (rice) and boli / tuhor ( dowry) while the socialobject traditional wedding ceremony is a form of verbal behavior interactions that occurbetween the family that marhusip, marhata sinamot and martonggo king. Meaning theproducts of social interaction in a traditional wedding ceremony in the form of the meaningof marriage ceremonies both in terms of the bride and groom, parents of the bride, parhataand invited guests. Both bride and groom parents interpret the traditional weddingceremony of cultural, ritual and sacred very high. Parhata / protocol to interpretthetraditional wedding ceremony has a value of solidarity (assimilation), cultural, spiritualand sacred. While the audience to interpret the traditional wedding ceremony has culturaland spiritual values. Interpretation of the meaning of marriage ceremonies in the form of theaction covered and open action. Measures covered include the bride and groom internalmotivation (self), external motivation (encouragement of family and friends), as well asfeeling happy and proud to be a bride for being able to carry out the traditional weddingceremony. Opening acts include facial expressions both families who have moved and happygaze that became the embodiment of fun and seriousness of the bride and groom in the holdand preserve their culture Batak Toba traditional wedding ceremony.

Abstract

When someone was involved in corruption cases, then that person need a lawyer who can help to solve the problem. To resolve the case is necessary for good interpersonal communication that is conducted by lawyers to their clients. This study was conducted to determine how the openness, emphaty, possitiveness, supportiveness, and equality of the lawyers to their clients in resolving cases of corruption.This study used qualitative research methods and conducted with social penetration theory. A total of informants in this research are 4 people, 2 of them are lawyers and the 2 are clients. are a lawyers and they clients. Data collection is done by interview, observation, and documentation.The resuts of this study indicate that the attitude of openness is lawyers want to listen to their clients, emphaty that lawyers understand the state of their clients, possitiveness that lawyers spoke with a smile and friendly, supportiveness that lawyers help clients make a defense attorney, and equality that lawyers makes a family atmospher conducted a lawyers to their clients in the corruption case.Keyword : Lawyer,interpersonal communication, Client, corruption

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of the World Wildlife Fund in preventing the smuggling of wildlife in Indonesia and determine the obstacles experienced by the World Wildlife Fund in preventing the smuggling of wildlife in Indonesia. The author will focus on one issue, namely the role of WWF in preventing the smuggling of elephant ivory . World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) is an international non-governmental organizations that deal with issues of conservation, research and restoration of the environment, formerly named the World Wildlife Fund and is still the official name in Canada and the United States. WWF is the largest independent conservation organization in the world with over 5 million supporters worldwide who work in more than 100 countries, supporting around 1,300. The method used in this paper is descriptive analytical method. This study shows that there are some roles carried out by WWF in preventing the smuggling of elephant ivory as a motivator, a communicator, an intermediary, organizational, legislative.Keywords: WWF, the smuggling of elephant ivory.

Abstract

The study is titled social relations with Local Citizens Comer Residents in In The Village Bagan Tujuh District Kunto Darussalam Of Rokan Hulu Regency.Researchers are interested in the theme of this because knowledge Desires, about the social relationships that occur between the citizens of the local residents with newcomers who are intertwined in harmony. To generate a good social relations required a form of interaction that gets a response between individuals with the individual and the individual with the group For the backdrop of ethnic and social relationship, certainly by itself happens to blend individual character in socializing and ultimately very affecting patterns of social relationships that occur in the community. This study aims to describe the interaction-interaction happens on the citizens of local citizens with entrants produce a harmonious Social Relationship. To find out the results of this research, the author then use the technique of collecting data by using the techniques of observation and interviews with respondents. As for the way of sampling or the respondent is done with simple random sampling technique, where a determination of the respondent's done by Expat residents with KK scrambles citizens local as much as the number of respondents 48 people. Researchers conducting a sampling as much as 30% of the total population of 160 families. The theory used in this research is the theory of social interaction as well as forms of social relations. The method used is descriptive quantitative. This research was conducted in the Village Bagan Tujuh District Kunto Darussalam Of Rokan Hulu Regency.The results showed that the social relationships established between the citizens of the local residents with the arrivals of harmonious and good. The results of this study are expected to provide an overview to all those who need information about the Expat Residents social relationships with Local Residents In The Village Bagan Tujuh District Kunto Darussalam Of Rokan Hulu Regency.Key Words: Connection, Local Natives

Abstract

This research describes about the effect of Kyoto Protocol Ratification toward economy partnership agreement Japan-Indonesia. Economy partnership agreements between Japan and Indonesia have a significant progress not only in trading but also investment.The research method applies qualitative descriptive method, liberalism perspective and Foreign Direct Investment theory. The author collected data from books, encyclopedia, journal, mass media and website to analyze the effect of Kyoto Protocol Ratification toward economy partnership agreement Japan-Indonesia.The conclusion of this research is Japan-Indonesia Partnership Agreements increasing number of environmentally friendly investment in Indonesia through JCM project. Through this JCM project, Japan and Indonesia could to enforce the purpose of Kyoto Protocol. So that, the economy agreement Japan-Indonesia aside from to grant advantages for both of this Country, but also grant the good effect for the environment.Key words: Kyoto Protocol, Investment, Trade, Economy partnership agreement , environmentally friendly, JCM Project.

Abstract

Head Office is one of the government agencies that regulate a variety of public interests, including the maintenance of identity cards, processing of land documents, handling letters of building permits, in addition to the Head is also in charge of monitoring the performance of employees where a government is sought for the implementation of work processes can be efficiently and effectively.However, problems occurred that oversight has not been done effectively, which can be seen not timely implementation of control, causing delays in the work. Can be formulated that control how the performance of the Head Office Bukit Raya Pekanbaru. The aim of this study was to determine how the Employee Performance Monitoring at Head Office Bukit Raya Pekanbaru.To analyze these problems the author uses the theory Brantas. This research is a descriptive qualitative approach, where data collection techniques are observation and interviews with key informants as key informants and snowball sampling in the determination of supplementary information.Conclusion derived from the results of the study showed that the Monitoring Employee Performance At Head Office Bukit Raya less effectively. Any work performed by an employee are in accordance with the basic tasks and functions. In the execution of this task, the boss gave full credence to subordinates to carry out each task each work performed by employees in the event of deviation from a work supervisor just give warning without the realization of such admonition. So that supervision can improve employee performance let can give guidance / instructions clear to employees about the various procedures of work, and provide sanctions against employees who commit irregularities within a job.Keywords : Monitoring, Performance, Employee

Abstract

The research present describe the influence of implementation Special Economic Zone in Batam Bintan Karimun towards increase of tourism industry in Bintan Regency in 2012-2014. Special economic zone are dealed in 2007, before implementation special economic zone, Batam are the teritory that implemented of free trade zone. Implementation of special economic zone have purpose to increase a economic growth in teritory border especially for Batam Bintan Karimun.The research use the methode are qualitative methodes that analyze problem research by describe the subject and object conditions based on real fact. This research use location in Bintan Regency and researcher collect data from books, government regulation, journal, mass media, website. This research use neo liberalism perspective with the concept of tourism.The conclusion of this research are influence of implementation Special Economic Zone in Batam Bintan Karimun towards tourism in Bintan Regency are increase of transprotation in Bintan such as road, bridge and airport, and increase of investations value and international tourism event in integrated tourism Lagoi area likes Bintan Triathlon, Tour de Bintan, Fishing Festival and Bintan Mountain Trecking and Durian Party.Keywords: influence, implementation, special economic and tourism.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of service quality on consumen interest of Ramayana Lestari Sentosa Pekanbaru.service quality as an independent variable (X).while consumen interest as the dependent variable (Y). study was conducted on consumen in Ramayana Lestari Sentosa Pekanbaru by 100 people.Data obtained from the questionnaire and further processed and tested using statistical analysis such as simple regression analysis , t test, correlation analysis and determination using SPSS program.The results showed that the test results of hypothesis testing. tcount(11.979) >ttable (1.984 ) This suggest that the service quality affect the consumen interest. The magnitude of the service quality on consumen interest in Ramayana Lestari Sentosa Pekanbaru is 59%.Keyword: service quality, consumen interest & Empaty

Abstract

This research was conductedatthe PT Jasa Raharja Pekanbaru. The problem in this research is how toinfluencethe transformational leadership to loyalty working at the PT Jasa Raharja Pekanbaru. The purposeofthis research wastodetermine the effectof transformational leadership to loyalty working at the PT Jasa Raharja Pekanbaru.Qualitative data obtained from filling the questionnaire by respondents transformed into quantitative data to give a score to each answer choice Likert scale. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis as well as some theories on transformational leadership and employee loyalty. Total population is all employees of the PT. Jasa Raharja Pekanbaru amounted to 39 people. The sampling is done by census method (sampling saturated). To collect data and information in this research technique used is the technique of questionnaire. Source of data used are primary and secondary data. Primary data is data obtained from questionnaires while secondary data obtained from the document PT. Jasa Raharja Pekanbaru. Based on hypothetical calculations known t count equal to 3.952 while t tabel with α of 0.05 df of 39 known value table = 2.030 then thus: t count> t table (3.952> 2.023), then this means that is the influence of transformational leadership on employee loyalty in PT Jasa Raharja Pekanbaru.Keywords: transformational leadership, loyalty of employee performance.

Abstract

This research was conducted at the Hotel Bintang Lima Pekanbaru, the study aims to determine the effect of recruitment to employee performance. Recruitment as an independent variable (X), while the performance of the employee as the dependent variable (Y).Samples are 26 respondents, all employees of a Hote Bitang Lima Pekanbaru.data obtained from the questionnaire and further processed to then be tested with statistics through SPSS program. Results of calculation of the coefficient of determination is 0,731. That is to say, the recruitmen affects the performance of employees amounted to 73,1%.Keywords : Recruitment, Employee Performance, Hotel Bintang Lima Pekanbaru
