Abstract

In consideration of the importance of Persembahan Dance as the identity of the culture, in 2009, Malay Customs Institution of Riau (LAMR) standardized this Persembahan Dance. This situation is done in consideration of that dance is getting difference and its disorder in terms of the form and the pattern which comes out of Malay mores.The type of this research was descriptive, was that qualitative study with phenomenological approach. The facts of the field study were gathered by doing observation and deep-interview documentation. The subjects of the research were the dancers of Riau University. This research was focused on the exploration of informant experience. The research questions of this research were (1) What is the motif of the dancer in Riau University in performing the Malay dance? (2) How do the dancers in Riau University elucidate the Persembahan Dance? (3) How the communicational experience of the dancer in Riau University in performing Persembahan Dance?The result of this research showed that the motif of the dancer in Riau University consisted of (because motive) those were pleasure feeling, experience, easy to be learnt, the meaning itself and the place whereas the (in order to motive) is that preserving the dance. The naming that given by the dancer in Riau University toward Persembahan Dance that they learned as an art creation, cultural preservation legacy, official welcoming guest and fee giver while the communicational experience was categorized as two experiences those were the pleasurable and displeasuring experience.Keyword: Construction Meaning, Persembahan Dance, Dancer Of Riau University Area.

Abstract

This study on "Background Selection Of Traditional Treatment On The Community In The Village Of Long Left Rantau Downstream District Kubu Babussalam Rokan HilirDistrict".Where the study was intended to explain how the implementation of traditional medicine by community village of long left rantau downstreamand what are the factors that influence the conduct of traditional medicine.Subjects in this study is that people go to traditional healers / traditional inthe village of long left rantau downstream.In this study the author uses qualitative research is research that produces descriptive data in the form of words written or oral, and explain the data through logical reasoning to draw conclusions on the terms of the logic and the data analyzed,so that it can systematically describe the situation in accordance with the phenomenon being studied.Data collection technique used interview, observation, documentation.Based on the results of this research community in The Village Of Long Left Rantau Downstream still use traditional medicine until now,they even believe in traditional medicine because they had been receiving treatment from the ancestors of the first to get it now.Every medication they are taking action to do to go to traditional healers or medicine, because they put the two treatments to medical and traditional.Keywords: Traditional, Medicine, The Village Of Long Left Rantau Downstream

Abstract

This study aimed About the Role of the Supervisor in Motivating In Section Banquet Hotel Pangeran Pekanbaru. This study aims to: (1) To determine the role in carrying out its duties and responsibilities in Operations. (2) To determine the role of supervisors in motivating employees at the banquet section Pangeran Hotel Pekanbaru.This research uses descriptive quantitative method for describing the problem in the company. The sample used in this study were 8 people.Based on the research that has been done, the result for the Supervisor Role In Meotivation In Section Banquet Hotel Pangeran Pekanbaru is good enough. Abstract

This research is the study of diplomacy and strategy analyzes about Indonesia and Iceland on cooperation in geothermal energy development in 2009-2014. The purpose of this research is Indonesia as fossil fuel users are faced with the depletion of oil reserves of Indonesia due to increasing needs of Indonesia society.This makes the Indonesian government seek and develop new energy sources such us geothermal energy, so cooperation with Iceland which has succesfully in developed geothermal energy to tackle national energy security.This research used qualitative methods which is done by explaining the case based on existing facts. The techniques used to collects data to study the case to library research in the form of journals, books, official documents, report, magazine, paper, and website. The theoretical framework applied in this research are neorealism perspective, national interest concept, nation-state analysis level and decision making theory.The result of this describes the forms of cooperation between Indonesia and Iceland in geothermal energy development is to include the exploration, exploitation, the use of geothermal energy and geothermal dispatch experts to Indonesia to study Iceland regarding geothermal energy development and investments.Keywords :Cooperation, Energy, Geothermal, Development, Indonesia, Iceland

Abstract

Terminal Simpang Aur Kuning of Bukittinggi city was included into class A type and build in 1983 next to Aur Kuning Market. At the beginning it had been functioned as it should be. However due to economic progression and street vendors activities, market expansion had become unavoidable. Therefore lesser spaces of terminal were remained. Meanwhile at the outside area of terminal had been build a kind of shadow terminal which taken a part of the road in front of SMA N 3 Bukittinggi. Based on those situations, researcher was attracted to study the area management of Terminal Simpang Aur Kuning of Bukittinggi city.This research was conducted based on theories evaluation of William N Dunn. This theory study a policy based on six criteria of evaluation namely: affectivity, efficiency, adequacy, equalization , response and precision. This research was aimed to evaluate area management of Terminal Simpang Aur Kuning and all affecting factor. It used qualitative method and data studied descriptively. Data collection was carried out with interview, observation and documentation based on purposive sampling method and analyzed by triangulation technique.The research result shown that area management of Terminal Simpang Aur Kuning of Bukittinggi city was not properly done and need to be improved with terminal expansion method. By considering limited area availability, local government was hoped to evict certain market (stores) building on terminal land, improving services by making certain needed infrastructures, improving human resources competency, good coordination with stake holders in order to reach good terminal management.Key words: Policy, Evaluation, Terminal

Abstract

Jamaah tabligh is an Islamic groups which focuses on improving the quality of faith and pious charity by moving and conveying the massage of the importance of faith and pious charity to all Muslims wherever they are. Jamaah tabligh is basically a designatios of people for those who are engaged in Da’wah activity in this group. However, the name of tabligh not the name that is inaugurated but only the familiar appellation so that the people knows it as jamaah tabligh. Tasykil group is a small group of jamaah tabligh which are selected based on discussion with the considerations of mastering a lot of Da’wah material and having done khuruj frequently or out to do house to provide information about Da’wah activity they do.The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. Data was collected trough interviews, partisipant observation, and documentation. The location of this research in Tuah Karya Village, District of Tampan, Pekanbaru. The number of informants for this study is 12 respondents. Sampling is done by using porposive sampling technique. The author conducts are data analysis by using Huberman and Miles theory and for checking the data validity, the author uses data triangulation and technique.The results of how persuasive communication of tasykil jamaah tabligh groups are applied to the muslim’s residents are divided to: The elements of persuasive communication of tasykil jamaah tabligh groups and The techniques of persuasive communication of tasykil jamaah tabligh groups. And The Factors which are motivation and environment. In doing the Da’wah activity among the muslim’s residents, the tasykil jamaah tabligh groups are using several methods, including; khuruj method (out to do Da’wah) and Maqomi Da’wah (local).Kerwords : Persuasive Communication, Tasykil Jamaah Tabligh Gropus, Da’wah

Abstract

Technological advances that teaches people to obtain information quickly, cheaply and efficiently and also supported by holding of the Press Oublishing Business License (SIUPP), making the height popping new news portal. So that the number of photos uploaded increasingly uncontrollable and disturbing the public. However, on the other hand, the press has a Journalistic Code of Ethics which is the main reference at the same spirit of the press to behave. This study aims to investigate the implementation of journalism code of ethics in journalism photo of Hukum Kriminal Rubric at GoRiau.com News Portal.This study uses descriptive analysis with qualitative approach. Research conducted at GoRiau.com News Portal, Surya Kartama Agung street 4Ath Pekanbaru. Through purposive sampling technique, the number of subjects in this study as many as seven (7) members. Technical analysis of the data using interactive data analysis model of Miles and Huberman.The results showed that; first, the implementation of Journalism code of ethics by GoRiau.com news portal not maximized. Proved by the number of uploads found journalism photo is considered quite sadistic, visible from the elements of blood on the photo. Then lewd photos where the photograph shows the lower part of the body that opens up almost to the vital organs, and does not follow the presumption of innocence. The portal is also inconsistent in presenting the news. Furthermore, the system boosts straight news reporters increasingly raising the level of negligence. Because no matter what, the press has a social responsibility to the government and society. Second, conditions Journalistic Code violations that do not have the sanction further debilitates the Journalistic Code of Ethics itself. Sanctions only found in the Press Law. Such circumstances should mobilize governments and communities to be more intelligent in responding to this phenomenon. Abstract

The development of the mass media both print and electronic media will bring many changes in society. The most dominant media is television. Private television stations compete to present the best show for the audience. One of them is a documentary program lifestayle My Trip My Adventure served TRANSTV. The theory of S-O-R (Stimulus, Organism, Response) make clear about the effects of mass media is directed, immediately and directly to the communicant. And Cognitive Theory is the use of knowledge or people who use their minds to think.The method used in this research is quantitative descriptive. Data collection techniques in this study using a questionnaire. The total sample for this study as many as 105 respondents and using random sampling techniques. To determine the influence of these two variables, the researchers used a simple linear regression analysis. As for the processing of the questionnaire test, performed using the Statistical Product And Service Solution (SPSS) version of Windows 16.Based on these results with indicators of program variables My Trip My Adventure namely the host, the format of the event, event content, frequency, duration and variable knowledge of travel, namely sensation, perception, thinking, obtained is the regression coefficient in this study is Y = 8.139 + 0.763 X with a 0.00 significance level smaller than α = 0.05. Thus accepted Ha Ho is rejected, meaning that there is the influence of variables program My Trip My Adventure to variable travel knowledge with a contribution of 58.8% moderate category. The percentage shows the effect being included in the program My Trip My Adventure to travel knowledge among students of Business Travel Faculty of Social and Political Sciences of University of Riau.Keywords: program, my trip my adventure, knowledge tour, student Business Travel University of Riau.

Abstract

This research aims to know financial performance at four sector of the food and beverage industry companies that is with sub-sectors PT. Delta Djakarta Tbk, PT. Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk, PT. Mayora Indah Tbk and PT. Ultrajaya Milk Industry and Trading Company Tbk during 2012 until 2014 by using a method of Economic Value Added (EVA). The research as descriptive of a quantitative approach by using capital structure analysis, WACC analysis, NOPAT analisys, ROIC analysis and EVA analysis. This research shows that the results the analysis of financial performance by using a method of Economic Value Added (EVA) during 2012 until 2014 the condition of financial PT. Delta Djakarta Tbk show a positive value but occur fluctuation. While at PT. Ultrajaya Milk Industry and Trading Company Tbk the financial condition of the company in the year 2012 until 2014 an increase and a positive value. But different with PT. Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk and PT. Abstract

This research starts on the theory of S-O-R (Stimulus- Organism- Response) and the theory of three components of attitude, the theory of S-O-R assume that certain stimullus will produce a certain behavior anyway. The basic assumption of this theory is that communication is a process of action and reaction. In this research, see how cell phone users respond to mobile advertising expossure in the form of SMS promo by card operator As coming into his cell phone. SMS messages received promo operator with frequency so intense every day trigger a reaction by the attitude shown mobile phone users in the Riau University students. The purpose of this research is to determine, whether there is an influence of mobile advertising expossure in the form of SMS promo card operator As to the attitude of mobile phone users in the Riau University students.The method used in this study is a quantitative method of explanation. Data collection techniques in this study using a questionnaire. The number of samples for this study were 135 respondents. Sampling using unknowing populations and accidental sampling techniques. To determine how much influence these two variables, the researchers used a simple linear regression analysis. Questionnaire for data processing, carried out using the program Statistics Product And Service Solutions (SPSS) version of Windows 17.Results of research on the influence of mobile advertising expossure in the form of SMS promo card operator As to the attitude of mobile phone users in the Riau University students regression coefficient values obtained in this study is Y = Y = 5,377 + 1,144 X with significance level 0,000 that smaller than α = 0.05. This means that there is the influence of mobile advertising expossure in the form of SMS promo card operator As to the attitude of mobile phone users in the Riau University students of 55,1% and in the category of influential medium. These percentages indicate that there is a reaction to the stance taken or indicated respondents.
