Abstract

Presence of illegal immigrants in the Pekanbaru City is one problems that is very warm discussed among people in the Pekanbaru City and other sosial media both at local and national level. Presence of illegal immigrants in Pekanbaru City in background because of interfence or threaths both in terms of economic, political, social, security and so forth. Pekanbaru City the one of cities tath are part of  Unitary State of Indonesian which lives on world trade and up holds human rigths especially those of the right to life. That is primary factor presence of illegal immigrants in Pekanbaru City. To overcome this problem the need for coordination and communication between policy, implementor and the environment in maintaining regional and state stabilitas. This research aims to look at the whole of illegal immigrants, government policy limiting factor in addressing the problems of immigrants in Pekanbaru City and also to see the impact that will occur the concept of theory Thomas R. Dye in William N. Dunn are three elements that make up a system policy. The third element of the policy is a public policy , stake holders and policy environment . This research using qualitative apporach using snowball sampling and data collection techniques with interviews, observation and documentation. These studies show that analysis of the issue of illegal immigrants in the city of  Pekanbaru that most man for illegal immigrants to obtain protection in their country there is chaos in various fields. Inhibiting factor because this issue is handled directly by the central government and only if there is a problem regarding the coordination of these immigrants and their impact on the surrounding communities concerns such as the spread of the Shi'a and their followers spread of Islamic State Iraq and Syria (ISIS) is currently the talk warmer world. Abstract

This research is a study of diplomatic which discusses about the strategy of Singapore to control the consumption of tobacco in Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (FCTC). Consumption of tobacco is not a new phenomenon in Singapore.This practice of tobacco’s consumption is known in past time. Tobacco’s consumption leads to harm not just the users but also the people’s around who breathe the air that polluted by tobacco.Victims generally come from any ages and member of families and they are vulnerable to be come affected by tobacco, risk of diseases that comes with consumption of tobacco such as cancer, heart attack, lung diseases, could harm pregnant woman , kids and teenagers. In this research, the author uses the nation analysis level  which focused on the strategy of Singapore. This research uses a realism perspective in international relations and strategy theory of John P.Lovell and diplomatic theory of William C.Olson. FCTC's strategy to control Tobacco consumption in Singapore by suppress and control tobacco consumption. In effort to control and suppress tobacco consumption in Singapore, Singapore join the Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (FCTC) for solid strategys and programs. The strategys and programs from FCTC’s are adopted to Singapore with the name of National Tobacco Control Program (NTCP). NTCP’s strategys and program and will be monitoring and evaluation by the Singapore government for better result and the consumption of tobacco decreasing from year to year. Abstract

Abstract Riau University Library is the library is good, this is proven by the best value reached in the accreditation of library by 2013 category "A". The existence of Riau University Library has the goal to support the process and associated library visitors. In line with awards by the University Library of the Riau, researchers interested in conducting research on library services University of Riau in the support process and associated students. This research was conducted with the objective to see how opinions about the services of library visitors Riau University Library in supporting the process and associated students of Faculty of teacher training and education. This study uses qualitative methods. That becomes the subject in this study constitute the entire informants who met the criteria needed in this study, among others, students of the Faculty of teacher training and educational sciences (FKIP) Riau University who visited the University Library University Library head of Riau, Riau, head of the Ministry, the head of the development of the collection, and Processing Staff and service references. Later became the object of research, namely Riau University library service in the support process and associated students FKIP University of Riau and data capture technique in this study using a deep observation and interviews and documentation. The result of the research shows that library visitors gave a positive opinion in terms of the availability of the means and infrastructure repair that is in the library of the University of Riau. It can be seen from the attitude displayed by library visitors such as feeling happy and comfortable when receiving the library services provided, the intensity of the visits students FKIP visited the University Library of Riau, and also understanding library visitors is good in understanding the procedures and rules that apply in the University Library. But in his Ministry, there are a few things that need to be improved in order to be assessed library visitors can enjoy maximum and get more information according to your needs, such as a welcoming and friendly service from librarian, more complete and developed a collection of existing library materials, provides some lack facilities such as plugs, and the need for a more intense socialization regarding the service provided University Library. Abstract

This research was conducted at Bintang Lima hotel Pekanbaru. This Research aim to knowing the organization climate influence to the employee work loyality of Bintang Lima hotel Pekanbaru. Organization Climate as independent variable (X) And the employee work loyality as dependen variable (Y). This research takes the responder amount as much 26 people. In this research, data obtained by use the koesioner and interview with use the scale likert and for the nextto processed and analysed by trough the validity test, reliability test, statistican analysm wich is simple linear regression analysis, t test, correlation analysm and determination by using aid of Statistical Program for Social Sciences (SPSS) application. Result of this research wich is result of hypothesis t test, t calculate (6,782)> t table (2,064). It is means shown that organization climate is significantly influence to the employee work loyality. Where the value of coefficient of determination shown that intensive variable give the contribution to the employee work loyality variable at 65.7%  and the rest at34.3% influenced by others dissimilar variable which is not discussed in this research. Abstract

This study aimed to determine the application of good governance in the management of tourism in the city of Pekanbaru. This study focused on the management of tourism in the district Senapelan called Kampung Bandar Tourism Village. Management of Tourism Village Kampung Bandar not quite optimal, high demand for tourism is not comparable with the services provided by the government will be the satisfaction of tourism. With the formulation of research problems that How the application of good governance in the management of tourism village Kampung Bandar and the factors that affect not optimal implementation of good governance. Based on the above background, the study aims to identify and analyze the implementation of good governance in the management of Kampung Bandar Tourism Village in the city of Pekanbaru. The research method is qualitative descriptive type of research that data collection is by interview, documentation and observation. From the results of the field studies showed in the management of tourism village government has not been optimal in applying the principles of good governance, it is visible from the lack of involvement of all components of society, government and private. Six principles of good governance which is used by penulis.Keenam these principles have not been fully implemented seraca maximum. In the principle of community participation sufficiently participate in the management of rural tourism, in this case the government has not been transparent menganai developer programs tourist village. The government's response also still lemah.Program Tourism Village is still not sufficiently effective and efficient. The factors that affect not optimal implementation of good governance in the management of rural tourism is a factor of a government that has not been able to implement a culture of good governance and weak in responding to the demands of the people. In this study the authors conclude that good governance is not optimal in the management of tourism village Kampung Bandar. But the government should put more effort to manage tourism along with public and private sector, especially the tourism village Kampung Bandar Senapelan Pekanbaru. Abstract

Industry is one sector which has an important role in the development of a country. One of the industries in Indonesia and its products have a lot of interest is the consumer goods industry with the specifications of cosmetics and household goods. This study aims to determine the company's performance, especially consumer goods industry cosmetics and household goods listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2010-2014 with financial ratio analysis and to find out which companies are performing better tailor. Financial ratios used are liquidity ratio (Current Ratio and Quick Ratio) and profitability ratio (Net Profit Margin, ROI, ROE). The object of this study is cosmetic and household goods listed on the Stock Exchange 20010-2014 year period, amounting to 5 (five) companies, namely PT. Kino Indonesia Tbk (KINO), PT. Martina Berto Tbk (MBTO), PT. Mustika Ratu, Tbk (MRAT), PT. Mandom Indonesia Tbk (TCID) and PT. Unilever Indonesia Tbk (UNVR). However, due to PT. Kino Indonesia Tbk is a company newly listed company on December 11, 2015, then the object of this research is PT. Martina Berto Tbk, PT. Mustika Ratu Tbk, PT. Mandom Indonesia Tbk and PT. Unilever Indonesia Tbk. The results showed that PT. Mandom Indonesia Tbk have better liquidity than other companies. As for the profitability of PT. Unilever Indonesia Tbk better in generating profits than any other company.Keywords: financial ratio, profitability ratio, liquidity ratio and financial performance

Abstract

Development of E-Government is an attempt to develop the implementation of governance through the use of electronic media to improve the quality of public services. The purpose electronic government is to improve citizens' access to public services, government services, increasing access to sources of information held by the government, to handle public complaints and service quality equation that can be enjoyed by all citizens. The use of information systems for the purpose so that the service could be faster, but not all people know the existence of such passport information system. People who are or will make a passport, passport information system to use it. The purpose of this study was to analyze the implementation of E-Government in the passport at the Immigration Office of Pekanbaru. In this study, the concept used refers to the Electronic Government or the E-Government. This study uses descriptive study using a qualitative method approach. In the data collection researchers use interviewing techniques and documentation. The results of this study can be concluded that the implementation of E-Government in the passport at the Immigration Office Class IA Pekanbaru City has not been done well it turned out for a passport online just for formality data only applicant community still fill your data manually at the Immigration Office. For that is expected. The need for data updated regularly on the website of the Immigration Office Class IA Pekanbaru City so there is something new going on, so many attract people to access it. because such reforms are indispensable additions website operator to be fast in responding to any complaints society in the process of interaction.Keywords: Implementation, e-Government, Passport Online

Abstract

Research on traditional medicine was conducted in the village of Lubuk Ambacang District of Hulu Kuantan Kuantan District Singingi. This research was conducted with the aim to explain how the belief systems that underlie the use of traditional medicine in the village of Lubuk Ambacang society and how the effective use of traditional medicine in the view of people in Desa Lubuk Ambacang. In this study the author uses qualitative research, is an attempt to present the social world, and perspective in life, in terms of concept, behavior, perception, and the question of human investigate. Data collection techniques using observation, interview and documentation. The research proves that became the foundations of society in the use of traditional herbs that is based on faith (Religion), hereditary tradition as well as fact-based reality has been perceived. While the effectiveness of the use of traditional herbs in the village of Lubuk Ambacang society there are positive that in the field of health, the economy and maintain the tradition of hereditary. There is also a negative effectiveness, such as a distorted belief, believe that the shaman could cure diseases suffered by the patient.Keywords: Traditional medicine, Belief System, Effectiveness

Abstract

Entertainment tax income from the internet cafes at the region of Simpang Baru, Tampan Regency has not been at maximum level because in the past 3 years of administration, only Rp. 7.354.898 that has been stored to the goverment as entertainment tax from internet cafes .The income of tax is not proportional with the amount of internet cafes that are in the refion of Simpang Baru, Tampan Regency. The main cause of this case is tax infringement by many of the internet cafes that was explained beforehand by the state goverment.The issue of this research is: how does the city administration reacts to the internet cafe phenomenon thats happening in Pekanbaru (Simpang Baru, Tampan Regency Research 2012-2014)?The type of this research is quantitative research, and using interviews, documentation reviews, observation to gather data that is used in this research. The source of data in this research is from primary and secondary datas.The results of this research is, PP No. 5 Year 2011, concerning the Entertainment Tax, is a form of goverment regulation for internet cafes in Pekanbaru City by administration. With this regulation, state goverment can optimize the state income from the entratainment tax. Optimization of the entertainment tax in Simpang baru, Tampan Regency, Pekan Baru is to discipline the tax evading internet cafes by doing pengsan. Techically, the goverment has supervised and has been doing soscialization about the regulation to the community especially internet cafe owners that are residing in Pekan baru, particulary in Simpang baru, because 2 of the biggest universities in Riau is at Simpang Baru, therefore Simpang Baru is a big potential place for internet cafes to thrive.Keywords : Regulation, Optimization, Tax Income, Internet cafe.

Abstract

Service Quality on community is used as a benchmark in view successful of an organization, then the service functions necessary to be improved to give satisfaction of the taxpayer. In increasing the tax revenue of motor vehicles, policies that is determined by Riau Province manage the local tax namely Revenue Office of Riau Province through regulation of Head of Revenue Office of Riau Province No.05 year 2013 about job description of Revenue Service Unit of Revenue Office of Riau province but it still complaints of taxpayers about the services that exist in the Service Unit Tapung of Kampar Regency, According to this problem, the researcher interested to examined how the service quality of motor vehicle tax collection at Revenue Services Unit Tapung of Kampar regency.Researcher used the theory of Agus Dwiyanto that service quality can be determined by the dimensions of Officer Attitude, Procedures, Time, Facility, Services. This research used descriptive qualitative, data was obtained through interviews that was be submitted to the informant then analyzed by the researcher. And then was collected secondary data relating to the issues that was studied.From this research results show that Revenue Service Unit of Tapung of Kampar Regency is not optimal in service quality, and still under of the expectations of taxpayers, it started from inadequate facilities, lack of certainty of time, it is not include to the good service indicator.Keywords : Service Quality , Revenue Service Unit of Tapung
