Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of climate and organizational commitment to employee performance in PT. Mitra Wahyu Prakasa Pekanbaru. Organizational climate as a variable (X1) organizational commitment as a variable (X2) and employee perfomence as a variable (Y). The method of this research was descriptive and quantitative with using SPSS program. The sample used in this research was employee of PT. Mitra Wahyu Prakasa Pekanbaru by respondents as many as 36 people. To determine the number of sample used slovin formula. Sampling technique with census. Data collection through questionnaire and interview. The results analysis used multiple linear regression, t test and f test to know that the variable organizational climate had positive effect toward employee performance, the provision of organizational commitment significantly influence toward employee performance, and significan tinfluence between climate and organizational commitment toward employee performance.Keywords : organizational climate, organizational commitment and employee performance.

Abstract

Placement of the right employees are the way to optimize the capabilities, skills to the job performance of employees, it is an evolution of employee future directed to place employees in positions appropriate to their rules and their qualifications, but in reality there are still some institutions, especially government that ignores those principles. Employees are very important and key to any organization because employees determine the realization of the objectives of the organization, so that the objective will be easily achieved if the employee is placed at a position corresponding to the competency. The purpose of this study was to determine the placement of Analysis of Civil Servants at the Regional Employment Board Pekanbaru city and to determine the factor that influence it. The concept of the theory is used the staffing proposed by siagian three promotions, and demotions over the task. This study is using current methods of qualitative research with an assessment of descriptive data. In data collection the author uses interview, observation and documentation. By using key informants as source of information and triangulation techniques as source of data validity. The results of research by the author that the Placement Analyze On Civil Servants Personnel Board in Pekanbaru, placement is done as in the Regional Employment Board of Pekanbaru most positions occupied by most employees are not in accordance with the educational background. In addition, factors are affecting the Regional Employment Board of Pekanbaru is the employees placement who are still influenced elements are not objective, the proximity of families and certain groups. This study is focused on the placement of employees on the basis of expected employees more motivated and passion in order to gain new positions and tasks through a system of career coaching orderly and healthy to realize an apparatus and accountable government organization and quality. Abstract

This study describes the implementation of cooperation between Indonesia with Australia in the field of rule of law in the matter of people smuggling. Law enforcement cooperation agreements exist on Lombok on November 13, 2006. Indonesia as a transit Country people smuggling to Australia destinations.Based on the terms of Indonesia and Australia are facing the same threats, namely in the form of people smuggling crimes.The authors obtained data from journals, official documents, theses, books, the internet to analyze the implementation of law enforcement cooperation in the field of smuggling people between Indonesia with Australia. Theoretical framework the author use in research this is the realist perspective, theory of transnational crime from Monica Massari and Gustavo Cano, and the theory of cooperation from K. j. Holsti.Implementation of law enforcement cooperation in the field of people smuggling between Indonesia with Australia that is through dialogue, consultation and cooperation in capacity building of law enforcement, operating together in intensifying cooperation between police forces, cooperation between the institutions of Indonesia and Australia.Keywords: Treaty of Lombok, Indonesia, Australia, people smuggling, law enforcement

Abstract

Research conducted in September 2015 until December 2015, in the village stronghold gadang jorong koto nan IV Payakumbuh city aims to find outHow do home activities chips industry is able to survive and any ways in which the home industry to improve competitiveness so that it continues to rise. The method used is a qualitative method. The subject is the owner of home industry is already running a home industry for 5 to 20 years. The data obtained are described qualitatively. The results showed thatin sustaining capital and increase capital carried out by the owner of home industry is good, by recording a careful and always counted the goods into the goods out. To maintain and improve the existence of labor is correct. Only in terms of marketing is not good because it is still up to pengampas.Keywords: Home Industry, Adaptation and Social Networking

Abstract

Library is successful if it had been able to meet the needs and expectations of users. But until now Riau University Library Unit is still constrained by the quality of services provided such as:1. The number of collections that are less meet the needs of visitors, as well as the lack of new books published in Library Unit.2. The existing information systems today are still many problems.3. System of preparation of the book is still not organized.4. Less friendly and less of a response employees / officers in providing services.This study aims to determine the quality of service in improving visitor satisfaction in Riau University Library Unit and to investigate the factors that influence the quality of service in improving visitor satisfaction in Riau University Library Unit. Tjiptono theoretical concept in Hardiyansyah (2011: 40) There are six indicators to determine the quality of public services, namely: 1. Timeliness of care services 2. Accuracy 3. Courtesy and friendliness 4. Ease of getting care 5. Convenience in obtaining support services 6. Attribute servicing , This research method used descriptive qualitative method, ie the data obtained will be discussed thoroughly by the reality that occurs in institutions or where research is conducted. Then compared with the concepts and theories that support the discussion of the problems in this study, and then draw conclusions that are generally applicable.From the results of research and discussion conducted on "Quality of care in improving visitor satisfaction in Riau University Library Unit", it can be argued that the UPT service Riau University Library has been implemented but not maximum quality of services provided to library patrons. This is a drawback that can be used as a reference for the Riau University Library Unit in order to improve the quality of its services so as to improve the satisfaction of users of the library.Key words: Services, Visitor Satisfaction.

Abstract

This study entitled Analysis of Semiotics of Masculinity In U Mild Ciggarets Version “Tiap Luka Punya Cerita”. The Purpose of this advertisement is to knowing the denotation meaning, conotation meaning and myth that represented in this ad and to knowing the meaning of masculinity by five of masculinity reachness from Archer and Lloyd.This research using analysis of semiotic theory by Roland Barthes, there are meaning of signifier, signified, denotation level, conotation level. In this advertisement have fourteen seconds of duration that divided in five scenes. The mhetod that used in this research is cualitative mhetod. The researcher downloaded the video of this advertisement for the first step from youtube, then turning out the video being the pieces of pictures which all will be analyzed. The video made be eight pictures and divided in five scenes.The lifestyle of society nowadays so close with cigarrets. Not only adults, teenagers even the children are many in comsuming cigarrets. Image of cigarrets advertisement in televison fixed with the kind of closeness objection that advertised. Cigarret is a regular consumption for man. The man is always showed up in way of masculinity.This research is using a couple of relevant theorys, are : Advertisement, semiotic, Roland Barthes semiotic theory, visual communication semiotic, masculinity, film structure and sounds. Denotation meaning of this ads is representing men that have masculinity by their looks. The men who can representing masculinity are they who have sharp body, hard and love the things of dangerousity and have the youth soul. The other things the men who can called masculine man if could handle broken hearted soul that caused by women. The conotation that showed up in this ads is represented by a friendship of man. Abstract

This research aimed about employee’s loyality at Dyan Graha Hotel Pekanbaru. This research aims to: (1) to know about employee’s loyality. (2) to know the multi way to increase employee’s motivation at Dyan Graha Hotel Pekanbaru.This research was used descriptive quantitatif method to describe the issues. The sample used in this research was 56 people.The results of this research indicate that based on the research results obtained on the employee’s loyality at Dyan Graha Hotel Pekanbaru good. This is evidenced by the acquisition of the overall total score of all factors, which is 3.829points.Keywords: Loyality, employee, loyality factor.

Abstract

The low capacity of officials BPD is one of the obstacles to the process of understanding the functions held that what is expected by the villagers less goes well, in other words what is expected by the community with the existing situation does not go hand in hand. Village Consultative Body in the village of Lubuk Betung Rokan IV Koto District of Rokan Hulu has not shown that the maximum performance results. This study aims to investigate the implementation of the Village Consultative Body functions in the village of Lubuk Betung and to determine various factors inhibiting the implementation of these functions. The factors inhibiting the implementation of BPD functions are: (1) the factors of employee performance, (2) the factors of cooperation, and (3) training factors. Therefore, the presence of various factors inhibiting the function execution Village Consultative Body (BPD), resulting in the execution of the function can not go well as expected. The theory used is the theory widjaja who said that the Village Consultative Body is an entity that works as follows: (1) establish the rules the village with the village chief, (2) accommodate and channel the aspirations of the community, and (3) supervising the implementation of regulations and decision of the chief. This study uses descriptive qualitative data collection techniques of observation and interviews. The results of this study demonstrate the implementation of the functions of BPD in mind that (1) the function establishes the rules villages have not been fully implemented properly because of a lack of cooperation between BPD with the village chief, in addition to the BPD in the village of Lubuk Betung also still fakum so that no village regulations newly created, (2) the functions and share their aspirations of society has not done well is because often misunderstanding or difference between the community and the board Village Consultative Body in and share their aspirations, and (3) the monitoring function is no supervision by members of Village Consultative Body on the course of implementation of the regulations and a decision by the village itself and the course Budget village due to lack of understanding of the BPD members of this supervisory function.Keywords: execution, function, Village Consultative Body (BPD)

Abstract

study was conducted to determine and analyze to identify their communication, communication media selection, assessment, communication and the role of interest komunitor role in communication for PR communications strategy Bengkalis district administration in disseminating election outright in 2015. The formulation of the problem in this research is how to identify their communication, the selection of communication media, the role of communication and assessment purposes komunitor role in communication for PR communications strategy Bengkalis district administration in disseminating election outright in 2015.This research is a descriptive study using a qualitative approach as a tool of analysis. This research was conducted at the Government Public Relations Office, Bengkalis District, which is the executing agency where elections simultaneously in 2015. The sample in this research that Government Relations and Community Leaders Bengkalis Bengkalis which amounted to 7 people. Data collection techniques of observation, interviews and documentation.The results of the study are from the introduction of targeted communication is known that prior to socialize elections simultaneously in Bengkalis then conducted the meeting in order to plan socialization which will be held as well as the objects that will be addressed, from the selection of media communication is done by making flyers or pamphlets about the elections simultaneously, from assessment purpose communication message known to the parties involved in the implementation of the socialization of the elections in Bengkalis should focus primarily on delivering the objectives of socialization and of the role of communicators in communication can be seen from the positive impact resulting in socialization election simultaneously in Bengkalis which all parties concerned can carry out their duties in accordance with the functions that have been set before socialization.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of brand trust ( X1 ) and brand equity ( X2 ) customer loyalty ( Y ) in cosmetic products Wardah ( consumer survey on PT . Paragon technology and innovation branches pekanbaru ) . The method in this research is quantitatively using SPSS 21 program , where samples were used that consumers using cosmetic products Wardah by respondents as many as 100 people sampling technique is accidental sampling using the formula slovin . The results showed that the test results simultaneously obtained from the F count was 34.888 while the value of F table 3.090 . This means that F count> F table and significant value 0,000 < alpha of 0.05 . This means that brand trust and brand equity simultaneously significant effect on consumer loyalty to cosmetic products Wardah .Keywords : brand trust , brand equity , customer loyalty
