Abstract

Customer Relations is a front liner in charge of serving every visitor who needs information around SKA Pekanbaru mall. Various forms of service are given customer relations is to make visitors feel comfortable and satisfied with what they receive. The following indicators of the quality of services to be tested, including physical evidence, reliability, ability to respond, assurance and empathy. It is assessed to see how much influence the visitor satisfaction, which the indicators themselves include suitability and expectations. The theory used in this research is S-O-R theory. The purpose of this study is to determine how much influence the quality of customer relationship service to the satisfaction of visitors in SKA Pekanbaru mall.This research uses explanative quantitative research method, with data collection technique is distributing questionnaires to 384 visitors in SKA Pekanbaru mall, with accidental sampling technique that is choosing anyone who happened to be found to be sampled. And the technique of data analysis in this research using simple linear regression analysis technique.The results of this study indicate that the value of regression coefficient in this study is Y = 3.856 + 0.250 X. The constant number (a) of 3.856 and the coefficient of variable X of 0.250. Meanwhile t count 34,090 bigger when compared with t table equal to 1,966, with significance level 0.000 less than α = 0,05. Based on the statistical calculation, the hypothesis for this research is Ha there is influence between service quality (X) to visitor satisfaction (Y). Then it means Ha accepted Ho rejected. And based on the table "Model Summary" shows that the value of R = 0.868 and the coefficient of determination (Rsquare) is 0.753 result of the correlation coefficient correlation 0.753 x 0.753. This number indicates that the contribution of variable quality of service (X) to visitor satisfaction (Y) is 75.3% with STRONG category. While the rest of 24.7% influenced by other variables not included in this study. This means that the quality of service has an effect on the satisfaction of visitors in SKA Pekanbaru mall, and the influence of the strong category of 75.3%.Keyword : Service quality, Customer relation, Visitor satisfaction

Abstract

This study aims to know Indonesian government tourism policy to develop tourism sector in Riau Island and to know the efforts of the Indonesian government to increase the visit of foreign tourists in Riau Island.The method of the research that was used is descriptive qualitative, to describe the phenomena in real situation without make comparing or answering hypothesis. The analysis is based on data obtained either from the literature studies and field studies, that is by conducting direct-interview with informants who are considered capable to provide information related the problem under study.The results of the research are the number of tourists increased since 2013. Increased visits of foreign tourists are influenced by the policy of the central government and regional governments that are mutually sustainable. Another factor is the availability of attractive tourist objects and accessible infrastructure.Keywords: Tourism, Foreign Tourist, Government Policy

Abstract

Availability of village finances is one of the main components in the implementation of rural development. It is necessary ability of government finances rural villages to manage effectively and efficiently. In supporting the success of development in the village of the central government provides financial assistance directly called by the village fund as it is regulated in Government Regulation No. 60 of 2014 which the village fund is prioritized for rural development and empowerment of rural communities. Village government capacity to manage the funds of this country need to be considered to see that new funds this village was held for the first time in the year 2015. This study aims to determine the capacity of governments to manage funds rural village in the village of Bukit Batu sub-district Dompas Bengkalis year 2015. This study uses qualitative research with descriptive research, which can be interpreted as a problem-solving process was investigated by describing the state of the research subjects were based on the facts that appear during the study were then followed by the popularity of existing theories. From these results, it can be concluded Dompas village government's ability to manage the funds so far only a recipient country budgets and implementing activities. The village government or the media just as responsible actors in using the budget but has not been able to design a government management in managing finances effectively and efficiently village. Policies manage village funds issued by the central government in 2015 as a forum to support the welfare of people in developing Dompas village is more simply done by providing facilities for rural development whose impact is not so perceived by society. It can be said that the village fund as governments are still not optimal and have not been implemented as the purpose of the village fund in Government Regulation No. 60 of 2014 on the village fund.Keywords: capacity, management, and village government.

Abstract

This research aims to know how the implementation of S.O.P and the level of S.O.P implement by bellboy in Aryaduta Hotel Pekanbaru. This research is combine research between qualitative and quantitative. The population of this research is bellboy with number 6 persons, because of 6 bellboys will be analyzed in this research, the number of sample and respondent same as the population it self. Based on the research result that has been done by the writer, that Aryaduta Hotel’s management has said that implementation of S.O.P to bellboy is good enough and the level of S.O.P implement by bellboy is high.Keywords : Implementation, S.O.P, Bellboy, Management.

Abstract

The research was conducted to know the facilities contained in karang restaurant KTM resort Batam and to know customer satisfaction with facilities in karang restaurant KTM resort Batam. The research method used is quantitative approach. The sample technique used is accidental sampling. Samples taken as many as 100 respondents, taken into the research respondents are the guests who come to karang restaurant with a view to knowing expectations before using the facility and reality after using the facility. The data were collected using, interview, observation, and questionnaire. Analysis of data use is done by comparing expectations and reality of the responses of respondents. The results of the research indicate the reality is higher than the expectation so that overall cunsumers feel less satisfied with the facilities contained in karang restaurant KTM resort Bata (y>x).Keywords: Customer satisfaction, Facilities, Level of Conformity

Abstract

PT. Aras Hijrah Holidays is a travel agency in Pekanbaru. The booking system in PT. Aras Hijrah Holidays is still conventional. Customers are expected to come directly to the agency. In promoting their service, they use less effective media, so that the information given are not optimum. Many customers do not know the specific purpose and the price of each package offered. To overcome the existing problems, and in the increasingly sophisticated technology it is important to evaluate promotional programs in PT. Aras Hijrah Holidays through online media and adversiting media to help in expanding promotion and enhancing the company profits.This study used a qualitative method with descriptive approach, subjects of this study is President Director, Employees, and customers PT. Aras Hijrah Holidays. The data is collected by a study of documents, observation, interview, documentation.The result showed that the promotion program in PT. Aras Hijrah still konvensional can be seen from direct contact promotion program then, need Evaluation of Promotional programs is very helpful in promoting the supply of service.Keywords : Evaluation, Promotional, programs

Abstract

Being foreign student at university require person to adapted with new culture and interact with native student who have different culture background. The cross culture communication happened between foreign student from Malaysia, Thailand, also Vietnam with native student in UIN SUSKA Riau campuses that include adaptive and accommodative communication behavior. On accommodate other culture process foreign student did accommodation strategies involved such as doing convergence, divergence, and overaccomodation. This study aims to determine the intercultural communication behavior of foreign students with native students and communication barriers faced by foreign students while in UIN SUSKA Riau.This study used qualitative methods with symbolic interactionism approach. The research located at Sultan Syarif Kasim Islamic State University in Pekanbaru, Riau Province. This study took nine informants and determined by using purposive technique. Types and sources of data obtained through the primary data and secondary data. Data collection is done with depth interviewed, observation in research location, and completed with documentation along the research. The data processing by using Huberman and Miles interactive data analysis technique with an examination of thedata validity through the extension of participation and triangulation.This study result show that in intercultural interactions the foreign students showed accommodative behavior like convergence in verbal and nonverbal form when adapting also divergences in communication accommodation which made by foreign students with native students. Foreign students also experienced excessive accommodation from native students when adapting. Intercultural Communication between foreign students and natives students also experienced barriers such as cultural barriers, linguistic, differences in perception and nonverbal habits differencial.Keywords: cross culture communication, accomodation strategies, UIN SUSKA Riau

Abstract

Combined farmer group (gapoktan) is a collection of several farmer groups that join and work together to improve economies of scale and business efficiency. The formation of a combination of farmer groups (gapoktan) is based on the concern of rubber farmers against the declining rubber prices and the marketing of rubber controlled by intermediate traders. With the area of rubber plantation in Gunung Toar subdistrict is quite wide and in general the livelihood of the community as a rubber farmer causes a variety of rubber prices. Because of the uniformity of rubber prices and seasonal changes and the lack of quality of human resources, organizational development is needed for the welfare of members who are members of a group of farmers (gapoktan). The theoretical concepts used are the techniques and approaches of agents of change in organizational development, proposed by Rivai and Mulyadi who say in the techniques and approaches of change agents in organizational development there are five kinds: sensitivity training, survey feedback, process consultation, team building, and intergroup development. The purpose of this study was to determine the strengthening of the Joint Group Agribusiness Institution (Gapoktan) in the Utilization of Local Resources In Gunung Toar Sub-district Kuantan Singingi Regency as well as the factors that influence it. This research uses qualitative method with descriptive data assessment. In collecting data of researcher using purposive sampling method and incidental sampling as information and data analysis. The results showed that the combination of farmer groups (gapoktan) in Gunung Toar sub-district in the utilization of local resources has not been able to improve the welfare of members and has not been able to answer the problem of the combined farmer groups (gapoktan). Factors that influence the environmental factors that groups and work culture is still less effective, the technology is still traditional and progress personnel and productivity that has not been reliable.Keywords : Organizational Development, Combined Farmer Groups, Local Resources

Abstract

Government in realizing the welfare of society, through public services that are still less than optimal. One of the causes is the less competent village apparatus in carrying out their duties and training carried outby the villageapparatus must be inaccordance with the training in general that is implemented so as to produce quality human resources. The purpose of this study is to describe and know the competencce of the village apparatus in realizing village and to know the factor that influnce the competence of village apparatusin Mekarsari village. This method used in this research is qualitative method. The data sources is taken from the primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques used interview techniques. Observation and documentation. The information is village head, village secretary, head of village affairs and society, while data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive qualitative analiysis. Basedon the results of the research note that the competence of the village apparatus in realizing village autonomy in the village of Mekarsari is good. This is evidenced by the data of observations and interviews on aspects of knowledge, skills, attitudees in the apparatus of Mekasrari village. The knowledge possessed by the Mekasrasi village apparatus is wellknown from the knowledge of the main tasks and functions. The skills of the Mekarsari village apparatus are also good in the implementation of village autonomy. Mekarsari village has a good attitude in inviting the community to participate in the implementation of village autonomy, but less optimalin service and less able to interact with the community. Factor influencing the competence of Mekarsari village apparatus in the participation of the village community and the absence of operational standard procedure. Abstract

Policy of Education Office through strategic plan Pekanbaru City in improving quality of quality of educator and education personnel of budget year 2015 is doing program or activity as effort of improving quality of educator and educational staff through formal and non formal education and attempt to rehabilitate damaged buildings or school spaces for improve the quality of education with the construction of school facilities and infrastructure and competent educators. The problem in this research is how is Pekanbaru City Education Office policy in improving the quality of Educator in Primary School year 2015. The purpose of this research is to know the policy of Education Department Pekanbaru City in improving the quality of Educator at elementary school year 2015, and obstacles in its policy. In this research, the researcher uses descriptive research type with qualitative method approach. This research is located in Pekanbaru City Education Office. To get information needed in this research, research using purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques used were interview, observation and documentation. For data analysis is done by descriptive method obtained from observation directly on the object of research and indept interview by connecting qualitatively.The results of this study can be concluded that the policy of Education Department Pekanbaru City in improving the quality of Educators in Primary Schools in 2015, has not run well on the aspect of the attitude of implementers in which the lack or not realization of the executor attitude expected in improving the quality of educators, are at managerial level, while at the executive level still lack awareness. Obstacles in the policy of the Education Office in improving the quality of educators in elementary schools in Pekanbaru City, namely (a) lack of teachers in the field of technology and communication, (b) teacher motivation is still low to improve Human Resources, (c) inaccurate data in complete certification files, and (d) lack of budget allocations for teacher development and development.Keywords: Policy, Quality of Educator, Elementary School
