Abstract

This research is intended to know the evaluation of society to responsiveness of Mayor of Pekanbaru in overcoming the problem of relocation of street hawker in lotus street and waste management. This study focused on the response of Mayor to the public on the complaints of the services provided. Based on the background of the problem, this study aims to know and analyze the responsiveness of the mayor to the problems that occurred in the city of Pekanbaru 2015-2017. The research method used in this research is qualitative descriptive, with data collection techniques used is through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the field study showed that the assessment of street vendors in the lotus street and the people of Pekanbaru city to the responsiveness of the Mayor still not fully in accordance with the wishes society, This can be seen the results of research, observation and interviews that have been done by the author of six indicators of responsiveness by Zetihaml. The mayor has not met the indicators properly. From the results analyzed the authors pointed out that the lack of maximum service given by Mayor is due to lack of seriousness, speed, timeliness, and accuracy He in providing services to street vendors and people of Pekanbaru city. while for indicators of attitude and communication, as well as access provided by Mayor has been considered good because of his hospitality and the provision of access for people who want to complain to him. So in this study the authors concluded that the level of responsiveness Walikota Not fully responsive in responding to any complaints from the community for services that have been given.Keywords: Responsiveness, Public Service, Mayor

Abstract

The research is investigate to describe the managing of conservation great forest garden of Sultan Syarif Hasyim region of Minas Subdistrict Siak Regency Riau Province. The region of conservation is perpetuation of nature region with the purpose are to plant collection and the nature fauna or made in, original kinds or not, that useful for research needs, knowledge, education, cultivation support, culture, tourism and recreation. Based on field observation and the data the problems is conservation region of great forest garden not managing well with sign open new land by specific person that they used for plant coconut because less the managing and handling land in that region. The purpose of this research is to know the managing of conservation great forest garden of Sultan Syarif Hasyim region of Minas Subdistrict Siak Regency Riau Province.The concept of theory that used is Managemen Function (Managing) start from planning, organization, implementation and managing. This research used qualitative research method with investigate the data with describtive way. In collecting the data the researcher used interview technique, observation and documentation.The result of this research is produce the conclusion results that the managing did by UPT KPHP Model Minas Tahura in enviroment live’s official and forestry Riau Province is still in category not optimum. There were some not optimum in planning, organization, implementation and managing. Then, there were some factor that influence the steps of UPT KPHP Model Minas Tahura in managing conservation great forest garden region was the source power of human that still less for checking the region, calculation operational mecanism that should complete and also the support of government and miter work that needs.Keywords: Management, Conservation, Great Forest Garden

Abstract

As a newly established political party, this is a significant step for PERINDO's party, especially in Riau province, so that the writer is interested to examine how this new political party is establishing its institutionalization at the level of Riau Province Board. In addition, the authors also want to examine what factors become obstacles faced by Dewan Pimpinan Wilayah (DPW) PERINDO Riau Province Party in conducting institutionalization. The research problem can be formulated as follows: How is the institutionalization of political party by the Dewan Pimpinan Wilayah of the Persatuan Indonesia Party (DPW PERINDO Party) Riau Province ?. What factors are the obstacles experienced by the Dewan Pimpinan Wilayah of the Persatuan Indonesia Party (DPW PERINDO Party) Riau Province in conducting the institutionalization of the political party ?. The purpose of this research is: To know the institutionalization political party conducted by the Dewan Pimpinan Wilayah of the Persatuan Indonesia Party (DPW PERINDO Party) Riau Province. Qualitative research methods. Location of research in DPW PERINDO Riau Province Party. Primary data sources through interviews as well as secondary data sources. Data analysis technique is conducted by qualitative descriptive analysis. The Dewan Pimpinan Wilayah of the Persatuan Indonesia Party (DPW PERINDO Party) Riau Province as part of the PERINDO party in the activity of carrying out the functions of political parties is not allowed to leave and always guided by the Statutes / Bylaws and other rules applicable in the party PERINDO. The identity of the values put forward by is the strengthening of the Indonesian nation in the field of economic populist. DPW PERINDO Party of Riau Province has not implemented any connection binding with any party in decision making. While regarding the financing of the Dewan Pimpinan Wilayah of the Persatuan Indonesia Party (DPW PERINDO Party) Riau Province is still self-supporting. DPW PERINDO Riau Province Party in making the knowledge or positive image in the middle of society still depends on what is done by DPP PERINDO party. Abstract

Education is a major effort in achieving the Indonesian government should a nation that is educating the nation. In the implementation of the education policy of the central government authorizes local governments to dapattercapai policies fairly and equitably. In Riau province, especially the city of Pekanbaru organized by the Department of Education Pekanbaru. Evidence of the implementation of education policy is by increasing the quality of education at all levels of education. On top Middle School should also be. Not only the National High School High School, but also private. Comparable to improving the quality of education, facilities and infrastructure supporting the achievement of quality improvement should also receive attention from the government primarily on Private High School. Therefore, researchers wanted to see and compare the role of the government, especially Pekanbaru City Pekanbaru City Department of Education in the Implementation of facilities and infrastructure of Top Private School puffy in 2014.The purpose of this study is the first, to find out how the government's role in providing education Pekanbaru City on Private High School in 2014. Second, to find out what are the factors that affect the role of Pekanbaru city government in providing education at High School in 2014. Private research this method descriptive qualitative approach. The research location is Private School SMA Santa Maria Pekanbaru, Private High School Youth and Education Office of the city of Pekanbaru. Data collection through interviews as additional data is through observation of researchers, documents, journals, research reports and media / newspaper. Analysis of the data that have been collected using descriptive techniques.Role of Pekanbaru City Department of Education in improving the quality of education in the form of teacher training in cooperation with the Institute for Education Quality Improvement, Provision of Assistance funds Operasioal School, and scholarship. as a coordination center and the center of the spread of information and data collection from any educational institution in the city of Pekanbaru. Limited authority becomes an excuse presented by the Education Office of Pekanbaru. According to the analysis of the author is trasmisi policy failures that caused the policy to be unfair and uneven and occure ketidakmaksimalan in the achievement of policy objectives. As a result the corresponding results of the analysis of all the data collected and interviews to the writer considered the most understand menganai it was discovered that the infrastructure and facilities Private High School in the city of Pekanbaru not be authorized Pekanbaru City Department of Education. Abstract

Knowledge is the result out end this happened after people take action on a particular object.This study aims to determine the level of student knowledge marga-marga Batak to determinethe correlation between the level of knowlwdge od students about the marga-marga Batakagainst nalilu behavior. Marga is a group of unilinear kinship patrilinear, which would thebe passed on to offspring continuously. Nalilu is a condition in which a vagabond who doesnot know the clan and lineage, so he did not know where kinship and behave according to therules of life armpits surname. The research method used is quantitative and analyzed thecorrelation of product moment to compare the level knoeledge of students about the margamargaBatak on the behavior nalilu. The result of the student’s knowledge level clans Batakwas 57 (85%) of respondents in the medium category and 10 (15%) of respondents in the lowcategory. Nalilu behavior in the evironment as much as 6 (9%) respondents never do naliluand 46 (69%) sometimes never do nalilu and 15 (22%) of respondents have never donenalilu. Students who never did nalilu reasons if it met the hobo, it will immediately askwhether the people of his clan by clan related. If anything, call khinsip what to use. Inaddition, some students argued that they never intoduced clan. In this case means, they donot use rhe clan as her identy. Result of data analysis can be concluded that there is acorrelation between the level of knowledge of students about the clans hobo againts nalilubehavior with significant value 0.000 lebih kecil 0,05 and the degree of influence between thetwo variables that are in the strong category is 0.671.Keywords: Correlation, Knowledge, Marga, Nalilu

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of working capital turnover and receivable turnover on profitability in mining company sector oil and gas listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2009-2014. Independent variable it’s from working capital turnover (X1) and receivable turnover (X2). While used dependent variable (Y) is profitability (ROE and ROI).This study uses secondary data, annual financial statements mining company sector oil and gas listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Sampling was done by sensus sampling the sample used is 7 mining companies sector oil and gas. The analysis technique used is a simple linear regression, multiple linear regression, coefficient determination test, t test, and f test . Data was analyzed by linear regression analysis using software SPSS 21.The results showed that the working capital turnover partially (t test) no significant effect on profitability, and also receivable turnover no significant effect on profitability. The results of simultaneous (f test) showed no significant influence of working capital turnover and receivable turnover on profitability (ROE and ROI).Keywords : WorkingCapital Turnover, Receivable Turnover, Profitability (ROE and ROI)

Abstract

In terms of the domestic economy of a country, foreign companies or have significant influence. For example, the presence of starbucks i which one is a multinational entreprise corporation. In addition to providing benefits for their country Starbucks kiosks are established in various kinds of places in Indonesia of course there are also some disadvantages that arise. Losses arising in the social field carried by the company Starbucks itself is their consumer behavior.This research was used comparative advantage where people tend to prefer to buy products Starbucks just because the product was derived from foreign companies and has international labels as well as consumption of the product is done to show the social strata in life community.            It was the indirect effects that are not good local coffee production in the country itself and be detrimental to farmers to local entrepreneurs in the country. Starbucks invesment growth was affected for a local coffee prices. Instability of the local coffee prices for farmers confused indeterming the income of coffee beans that wether or not a request and many or not request. Key words: Starbucks, Coffe, Farmers

Abstract

Athirah movie is a film that lifts the reality of polygamous life, polygamy is an issue that is still a debate in the community. This is quite interesting because polygamy is still something that causes pros and cons in Indonesian society. Different from previous polygamy-themed films, this film is a true story of a wife's struggle as well as the mother of Vice President Indonesia, Jusuf Kalla. In theory, many women have expressed disagreement on polygamous marriages, but in practice women are always in a cornered position, have no choice and are difficult to bid or even have no ability to reject men's desire for polygamy. Starting from this, some Indonesian filmmakers view the interesting polygamy phenomenon to be lifted into a film masterpiece. This study aims to determine the impact of polygamy for wives and children represented in Athirah films viewed from the level of reality, level of representation and ideology level.This study used qualitative methods analyzed by semiotic analysis of John Fiske. Subjects and objects in this study is the observation of the audio and visual display in the scenes of the film Athirah with data collection techniques used are observation, documentation, and literature study.The results of this study show there is a polygamy representation in the Athirah film. The polygamy representation contained in the film is seen from the three levels stated by Jhon Fiske: at the level of reality, the impact of polygamy on the wife and child is seen in aspects of appearance, manner of speech, behavior, gestures, expression and environment. At the representational level, the technical and conventional codes present in the Athirah film depicting the impact of polygamy on wives and children are reflected through aspects of camera, lighting, music and sound. The level of ideology that can be inferred, the depiction of the polygamy values and the polygamous wife's struggle so that the ideology concluded is the ideology of patriarchy and feminism.Keywords: Representation, Film, Polygamy, Semiotics, Impact

Abstract

This Study aims to determinate the effect capital structure and Profitability on on the value of the company on ceramic porcelain and glass companies listing on the Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2009-2014 .The capital structure is used as independent variables with indicator Debt to Assets Ratio (DAR), Longterm Debt to Equity Ratio ( LDER), and Profitability with indicator Return On Equity (ROE), and Return On Investment (ROI). While that is used as the dependent variable is value of the company is Price Earning Ratio (PER).This Study uses secondary data from the financial statements of companies ceramic porcelain and glass companies listing on the Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2009-2014. Sampling is done by purposive sampling that used is 5 ceramic company of porcelain and glass.Technic Analysis using the simple linear regression analysis, multiple linear regression analysis, test the coefficient of determination, t test and f test. Analysis of data using linear regression analysis with SPSS 21.The Result Shower that the variables ROI partially (t test) affect the value of the company on Ceramic Porcelain and Glass company listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), while the variable DAR, LDER, and ROE, ider no effect on the Value of Company on Ceramic Porcelain and Glass company listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The Result of the study simultaneously (f test) showed a significant effect of the variable DAR, LDER, ROE, and ROI ider on firm value on Ceramic Porcelain and Glass company listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).Keyword: Capital Structure, Profitability, Corporate Values, DAR, LDER, ROE, ROI

Abstract

The demands of the workforce of skilled labor encourage job seekers to attend job training and apprenticeship to add to their skills. Pekanbaru City Manpower Office to create and implement employment programs for job seekers to create a program that is the Internal Apprenticeship Program in collaboration with Private Work Training Institute in Pekanbaru city. Total employment after training and apprenticeship in 2016 is 85% where as many as 143 participants are absorbed into the world of work. This means that the implementation of the program in accordance with the expected where the participants who trained and traded to get a job and make their own business (independent). The purpose of this study is to see how the Implementation of Internal Apprenticeship Program by the Municipal Labor Office Pekanbaru Year 2016 and know what factors that influence it. Researchers use the Nakamura and Smallwod theory which mentions that there are three dominant ways to know the success of program implementation: bureaucratic obedience to policies set forth in the Act, Functioning of routine procedures in the implementation of the program and the achievement of program objectives. This research uses qualitative descriptive method, data collection techniques through observation and interview where the parties involved in this research as an informant. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of Internal Apprenticeship Program by the Department of Work in Pekanbaru City in 2016 runs well where the labor absorbed is 85%. This can happen because the three components in the successful implementation of the program, namely the bureaucracy compliance with the policies set forth in the Act, the functioning of routine procedures in the implementation of the program and the achievement of program objectives that are well designed and executed. Factors influencing the Implementation of Internal Apprenticeship Program by the Manpower Office of Pekanbaru City in 2016 is a good coordination between all implementing parties of domestic apprenticeship programs and adequate facilities and infrastructure.Keywords: Implementation, Apprenticeship and Training Institute
