Abstract

This research was held in Kelurahan Rejosari Sub-district of Tenayan Raya Pekanbaru. The purpose of this research is to know the manpower in the home industry of trash Bank, know the strategy of empowering women through the home industry of trash Bank and know the socio-economic life of women workers Dallang Collection in Kelurahan Rejosari Sub-district Tenayan Raya Pekanbaru. The focus topic of this research is the women Empowerment strategy through the home industry of Bank Sampah Dalang Collection. The samples in this study amounted to 44 people. The authors use quantitative methods and use census techniques. Data instruments are observations, polls and documentation. From the research conducted, the authors found that about employment in the garbage Bank industry Dalang Collection can be concluded as follows: the recruitment of manpower at the Dalang Collection was recruited directly from the management site 56.8%, The training provided by Dalang Collection is very beneficial for women workers 86.4%, the implementation of work in the Mastermind collection is divided into three types of work is 20.5% garbage cleaner, product pattern maker 6.8%, sewing products 72.7%. Research also finds the background of the economic life of women workers in the Dalang Collection is as a housewife who has no income and has undergone economic change since joining the Dalang Collection. The study also found that the Women Empowerment strategy through the home industry of Bank trash Dalang Collection is by increasing the confidence with the skill of respondents giving new product idea to the manager sometimes 50.0% and ever 43.2%, respondents conducted discussions with the maintainer about the creation of a new product 88.6%.Keywords: Empowerment, Social Economy,  Dalang Collection

Abstract

This research is a political economy study that describes the interests of Indonesia in establishing trade relations with Taiwan. The aim of this study is to determine Indonesia's interests in establishing trade relations with Taiwan. This study used qualitative research methods. This analysis is based on literature. The author used data from a collection of journals, books, documents, and the internet. The perspective that used is Liberalism, which according to this perspective assumes that humans are essentially non-conflict, willing to cooperate and rational beings. The level of analysis is Country-Nation, where the state is the dominant and most powerful actor in international interactions. The concept that used in this study is the concept of national interest, where this concept is the main pillar of foreign policy and international politics that are realistic because national interests determine the political actions of a country. The results of the research in the thesis are international cooperation, where the collaboration of this research occurs between Indonesia and Taiwan to meet the needs and interests of each country in the field of trade. The interest of the Indonesian Government in Establishing Trade Relations with Taiwan is to increase Indonesian cooperation in various sectors, such as Indonesia's exports which increased to USD 1.84 billion by 2018, Taiwan is very interested in investing in Indonesia amounting to 142 million US dollars, 7,200 Indonesian students in 2018 which are studying to Taiwan. Keywords: Nation Interest, One China Policy, International Relation

Abstract

This research was conducted in Tanjung Kedabu Village, Rangsang Pesisir Sub-District, Meranti Archipelago District. It addresses to the parents of drop-out children and the children themselves in Akit tribe. The aim was to find out the cause of school dropouts and the views of parents towards Akit children who dropped out of school in Tanjung Kedabu Village. This research is a survey research using descriptive qualitative methods, data collection by means of interviews, observation, and documentation. The number of informants in this study was 10 people consisting of 4 parents of the Akit tribe whose children were dropped-out of school, 4 children of the Akit tribe who had dropped out of school, the headman of Tanjung Kedabu village and teacher in the village of Tanjung Kedabu. The results showed that the causes of school dropouts were divided into two, namely internal causes such as low interest and willingness of children to go to school, schools were considered unattractive and inability to take lessons while external causes were family economy, parental attention and playing environment. The views of parents of Akit tribes in the village of Tanjung Kedabu towards the dropped-out students can be seen from several views, namely the knowledge, needs, pleasure or hobbies of a person and habits or patterns of daily life. Keywords: School Dropouts, Causes, Views

Abstract

This study aims to test partially and simultaneously the influence of Sales Growth, Return On Assets and Return On Equity on Stock Prices. Where the independent variables in this study are Sales Growth, Return On Assets, Return On Equity and the dependent variable is the Stock Price. The population used is automotive and component companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2015 to 2017 period. This study uses secondary data in the form of financial reports and annual reports on annual reports of automotive companies listed on the IDX for the period 2015-2017. Sampling uses a purposive sampling technique that is a company that has not suffered losses for 3 consecutive years and used is 11 companies. Data analysis using simple linear regression analysis, multiple linear regression, t test, f test, and test the coefficient of determination using SPSS 23. The results of this analysis indicate that the sales growth variable partially (t test) does not affect the stock prices of automotive companies and components listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, the variable return on assets partially (t test) affects the stock prices of registered automotive companies and components on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, the return on equity variable partially (t test) affects the stock prices of automotive companies and components listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Simultaneous test results (f test) show the influence of variable sales growth, return on assets, return on equity on stock prices in automotive companies and components listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2015-2017. Keywords: Sales Growth, Return On Assets, Return on Equity And Stock Prices

Abstract

AbstractSupervision and Development Team Pekanbaru City Commercial Conduct established by the Head of Department of Trade and Industry, the city of Pekanbaru in order to smooth the supervision and guidance order in trade on the licensing and non-licensing and warehousing. The purpose of this study was to determine how performance monitoring and coaching team order in trade in Pekanbaru City licensing warehousing and factors that hinder. The theory used is Lenvine theory that there are three indicators to measure the performance of public sector organizations, namely: Responsiveness, Responsibility, and Accountability. This study used a qualitative method with case study approach and the necessary data both primary and secondary obtained through interview, observation and documentation for further analysis. The results showed that: first, the indicators of the responsiveness of Team Performance Supervision and Development of Conduct Commerce on Licensing Warehousing Pekanbaru City has not been carried out in accordance with the standards, the indicators of responsibility can be concluded that there is still not running as it should, and the indicators of akuntablitias can be concluded that there is still run in accordance with the set target. Abstract

This Scription provides an explanation of Turkey's efforts to expand the influence of its power in the African region in Mogadishu Somalia in 2017. The purpose of this study is to find out the causes of why Turkey is cooperating with Somalia. This research method uses qualitative research methods by conducting literature studies. To answer the purpose of the study the author uses the perspective of behaviorealism with the foreign policy theory put forward by Gideon Rose in 1998. In this case the factors that cause foreign policy of a country are influenced by ideational factors in which Turkey cooperates with affected Somalia by the influence of the AKP party government. The second, from the influence of the relative material strength that is with Turkey with the world's sixth strongest military must expand its power. Third, the influence of a long-term grand strategy in looking at the potential of strategic regions and the potential of Somali energy resources. Finally, the influence of the elite's threat preference which influences the threat of China and Saudi Arabia which also broadens its influence in the African Region. Abstract

The transformation of political participation by using Facebook has occurred in the Regional Head Elections in Riau Province in 2018 as evidenced by the rules of the General Election Commission related to campaigns on social media namely Riau Provincial KPU Decree Number: 88/HK.03.1-Kpt/14/Prov/X/2017. Although there has been virtual political participation through Facebook, there are candidates who have high followers, and some who are low. Other than that, there are still many hoaxes in politics on Facebook. This research is a descriptive study using a quantitative approach. The data collection technique in this study used online survey techniques by taking a sample of 155 people from Syamsuar-Edy Nasution’s Facebook followers and Lukman Edy-Hardianto’s Facebook's followers. Analysis of the data used is quantitative analysis. The results of the study concluded that respondents from the Syamsuar-Edy’s Facebook followers on their level of virtual political participation on Facebook were included in the active category with recapitulation of an average score of 1.68 and respondents from Lukman Edy-Hardianto (Riau Bangkit)’s Facebook followers level of virtual political participation on Facebook is included in the fairly active category with recapitulation of an average score of 1.24. The factors that encourage are (1) widespread government involvement in social, economic and cultural affairs and (2) modernization. Then the inhibiting factors can be seen from technical, sociological and rational choices.  Keywords: Virtual Political Participation, Election of Regional Heads, Facebook.

Abstract

The more advanced a country, the more educated people are, and the more unemployed people the more the world of entrepreneurship is felt. The success of development is supported by an entrepreneurial spirit that can be launched by employment. Economic progress will improve welfare. Students as young pulse entrepreneurs are new. The profession of being an entrepreneur is no longer something else and is not only done by students who are weak in the economy, because many are found as part-time workers as young entrepreneurs. From this phenomenon, there are entrepreneurial entrepreneurs who are next to each other and discriminated against in friends. The purpose of this study was to find out the meaning of entrepreneurs for young student entrepreneurs in the area of Pekanbaru's car free day, to find out the motives of young entrepreneurial students in the car free day area of Pekanbaru City, and to find out communication for young students in the car free day area. Pekanbaru City. This research uses qualitative research methods using phenomenological and informant retrieval using purposive of 5 people. With the technique of collecting data with interviews, and documentation. As for the technique of checking the validity of the data, researchers used the extension technique. The data obtained is then processed for reduction, so as to produce general conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the motives of entrepreneurs for young entrepreneurial students in the Car Free Day area of Pekanbaru City are divided into two motives because (Because of Motives) there is a sense of need and interest, while the motives for (Agar Motif) seek the identity they want. the meaning of entrepreneurs for young entrepreneurs in the area of Pekanbaru's Car Free Day is independent or not dependent on others, always working in work, having responsibility, and responsibility, a fighter, not easily discouraged, and brave enough to face risks. The experience of communicating young entrepreneurs with the status of students in the car free day area of Pekanbaru City is divided into two positive communication experiences which can make parents happy, have a good relationship with the social environment (residence) and have good relationships with campus friends, and negative communication experiences namely people people who are poor because they are looking for money to study, are shunned by school friends because they realize that friends who like people who are not able to be friends. Abstract

The Mempura River Tourism Village is a tourist village located in Siak Regency. This tourist village has quite good natural potential and is still beautiful, and cultural arts are still very awake. This study aims to determine community participation in developing the Mempura River Tourism Village and to find out the barriers to community participation in developing the Mempura River Tourism Village.This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The research subjects were the Tourism Office of Siak Regency, the tourism conscious group (pokdarwis) of Mempura River, the Mempura River community and the chairman of the Malay traditional institution. Data collection is done through observation, document study, interviews and documentation. While data analysis is done by reducing data, presenting data, drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the Mempura River Tourism Village has natural attractions such as the beauty of the river, agro-tourism such as durian gardens, cultural arts such as silat, zapin and kompang which are still maintained. However, community participation in the Mempura River Tourism Village is still low in advancing their villages. Abstract

Making Indonesia the worldʹs maritime axis is the vision promoted by Joko Widodo (Jokowi) to the next five years of his tenure after his victory in the   residential election 2014. This goal is in line with the struggle of Sukarno, who wanted Indonesia to become a strong and independent maritime country at the  ime. Hisdesire was rooted from the awareness of Indonesia’s strategic position aswell as maritime potentials that the country have. The main objective of Jokowi’s idea is to boost Indonesiaʹs economic growth and equitable development which is focused on the marine sector. This research was prepared using the perspective of Neorealism, the theory of diplomacy and the concept of maritime security. This research was arranged using descriptive analysis with qualitative approach. Supporting data is obtained through  document, and literature study. The result shows that the defense diplomacy’s instrument was built upon series of international cooperation and the development of state’s defense posture itself. Therewith, Indonesian government undertakes the defense diplomacy efforts by playing an active role in forum regional level such as HACGAM.  These two aspects eventually have a prime significance in shaping Indonesia as the Global Maritime Fulcrum, especially in the achievement of defense, security, law enforcement, and marine safety.Key Words: HACGAM, World Maritime Axis, Defence Diplomacy.
