Abstract

This research is entitled Market for Rubber Farmers Consumption in Air Tiris Village, Kampar District, Kampar Regency in 2016. This research is a descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The location of the study was conducted in the Air Tiris Sub-District of Kampar District, Kampar Regency, as for the reason for choosing a location because Kampar Subdistrict was a very potential area in the plantation sector and there were still many problems encountered, especially the problem of infrastructure and plantation quality. Informants in this study were employees of the Plantation Office and rubber farm workers. The informants were determined by researchers, namely as many as 4 rubber farmers who were core informants, 1 employee of the Plantation Office and 1 employee of the Central Statistics Agency.The results obtained in this study are 1) Food needs of rubber farmers in the Air Tiris Village of Kampar District, Kampar Regency in 2016, namely rice, major vegetables, fish and various animal proteins. For non-educational consumption, transportation, information and communication. 2) Usually rubber farmers work laborers on other people's land / join construction work, also plant sweet potatoes and rice in the fields. 3) The Kampar District government program in the procurement of food and non-food needs in the Air Tiris Sub-District of Kampar District in Kampar Regency in 2016. The Department of Plantation Livestock and Animal Health (Disbunnak Keswan) formed the Kampar Regency Joint Business Group (KUB). In addition, the sub-dept. And disperindag also carried out increasing individual capacity, involving several roles / tasks of consultation, supervision, monitoring and evaluation.Keywords: Consumption Market, Rubber Farmers

Abstract

This study aims to examine the factors that affect the firm value that can be judged from its investment and profitability . Samples in this study were 7 food and beverage industry companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, which has published a financial report from 2010-2014.Methods of analysis in this study using simple regression analysis and multiple regression analysis. Test simple regression analysis is used to view the partial influence of the investment and profitability are included as independent variables in this study on the firm value.Test multiple regression analysis is used to view the simultaneous influence of the investment and profitability are included as independent variables in this study on the firm value.The results showed that variable investment and profitability have a positive influence on firm value.Key words: firm value, investment , profitabilit

Abstract

This research was conducted in the village of Sialang Jaya Subdistrict of Rambah Rokan Hulu Regency with problems, that (1) How the process of the formation of local wisdom Down the prohibition in the village of Sialang Jaya? (2) what is the value and meaning of the tradition of harvesting fish in the bottom of the ban (lubuk larangan)? The purpose of this research is to explain the process of the formation of local wisdom at the bottom of the prohibition in the village of Sialang Jaya and knowing the value and meaning of the tradition of harvesting fish in the bottom of the prohibition (lubuk larangan). This research is qualitative research, subjects in this research is a key informant who knows or mencetus ideas about the bottom of the ban as Head of customs, Administrators and community leaders Down the ban. As for the objects in this study is taken by using purposive sampling technique in which communities that serve as informants are those who know the history and traditions of the bottom of the prohibition (lubuk larangan). To collect data for researchers use interview and documentation. The results illustrate that the Community tradition of the bottom of the prohibition (lubuk larangan) of Sialang Jaya the ban as an attempt to restore the condition of polluted rivers that start in the village they are caused due to the increasing number of inhabitants who settled along river of Kaiti. The society has its own way of Sialang Jaya in the management of the river forming the bottom with river of Kaiti prohibition, regulations or the existence of a prevailing myth, maintenance by means of mutual (horja) and the use of traditional capture the moment of harvesting. In addition, there are the value and meaning of the tradition is the bottom of the ban as the value of togetherness, of family, mutual, pillars/unity and values compliance. While the meaning of the existence of the bottom of the ban which the establishment of a good communication between the community and as a form of cultural preservation.Keywords: Local Wisdom, Bottom of the Prohibition, Tradition.

Abstract

In the early 2000s Korean pop culture was widespread in the world community and entered Indonesia, where Indonesian people were focused on South Korea who was holding a world cup, besides that Indonesian private television stations broadcast many Korean dramas that drew the attention of Indonesian people. Finally, Korean pop culture can form K-pop fan clubs in Indonesia to be widespread in cities like Pekanbaru. On February 10, 2012 the Pekanbaru K-popers community was formed. This study aims to determine the activities of Pekanbaru K-pop fansclub and the expression of the identity of the fansclub members. The method used in this study is qualitative in which the researcher gets 9 selected subjects using purposive sampling to meet the criteria determined by the researcher. The results of this study stated that they carry out activities that contain symbol consumption both on social media and in real life, they also like to collect K-pop items, they show that they are K-popers during fansclub activities or K-popers communities, using attributes and every day they only use ordinary accessories such as pins and bag hangers. They realize the impact and benefits of being K-popers, from positive things to being diligent in saving, being independent and working hard to achieve something and from negative things they become wasteful in buying K-pop goods, spending money on K-pop activities such as ganthering, watching concerts and other K-pop activities as well as their activities with their own world. Keyword: Korean pop, Expression, Identity

Abstract

This study looks at the rationale of women in choosing a profession as a sportsathlete rock climbing. In this case the researchers set the location of research in theUniversity of Riau campus area which is the center of sporting activities rock climbingRiau province. The object of this study is also related to the response of women tosociety streotipe about women who cultivate rock climbing sport. The subjects of thisstudy were all female athletes who joined in the Federation Climbing Indonesia Riau,which amounted to five (5) people. Data collection techniques used observation andinterview techniques. Then the data were analyzed by using descriptive qualitativeanalysis method. Based on the results of the analysis found that the rational choice ofwomen in the sport of rock climbing is because their orientation to the goal, they havetheir own goals, so that the attention is the goal. So that all kinds of risks andconsequences do not become something that interfere with their mind, the mostimportant is the goal is achieved. The reason they survive is due to intrinsic factors:love, comfort, challenges, and achievement and extrinsic factors: money, and career /employment. Meanwhile, women's response to stereotypes is said to be positive becausethey have a good knowledge of the streotype, and have experienced it themselves, but donot make it as an obstacle and even more obstacles as a motivation more, spirit, and astrong will to develop be better. While the attitudes of the female athlete against anykind of risk that there is likely not to question, because they choose rock climbing sporton the basis of a sense of love and pleasure.Keywords: Gender, Climbing, women

Abstract

According to the human relations theory pioneered by Bernard (1938), Mayo (1933), Roethlishetger, and Dicshon (1939), this theory suggested organizational refinement and improvement strategies by increasing satisfaction of member organizations and create an organization that can help individuals develop its potential. To avoid this need to have a way that can create a harmonious labor relations, mutually beneficial cooperation and mutual understanding that ultimately all parties can get satisfaction together. Communication is carried out by the leadership against subordinates certainly has an important role in creating a harmonious labor relations, mutually beneficial cooperation and mutual understanding so that all parties can get satisfaction together. The purpose of this research is to find out how big the influence of communication leadership against the marketing staff morale at PT. Sinarmas Multifinance branch Pekanbaru.The methods used in this study i.e., quantitative methods. Data collection techniques in the study using a detailed questionnaire. The number of samples to study as many as 40 of the respondents. Withdrawal of samples using the method of census sampling or saturated. To know the influence of both these variables, the researchers used a simple linear regression analysis. For the processing of data is carried out using a questionnaire, the statistical program Product And Service Solution (SPSS) Windows version 18.The results of the research on the influence of communication leadership against the marketing staff morale at PT. Sinarmas branch Multifinance Pekanbaru obtained coefficients regression on this research is Y = 12.618 + 0.567 X with significance level smaller than 0.000 α = 0.05. This means that there is a leader of communication influence against the marketing staff morale at PT. Sinarmas branch Multifinance Pekanbaru of 49.70% and enter influencial medium category. The percentage shows that communication conducted the leadership is quite effective to improve the morale of employees. H0 is rejected and thus Ha is received.Keywords : Communication, Leadership, Morale

Abstract

This thesis is proposed to qualify for a Bachelor of Sociology degree.With the title"Student Learning Activities Achieved In Senior High School Plus Bina BangsaPekanbaru City". The problem discussed in this thesis is how the student learningactivity achievement in Senior High School Plus Bina Pekanbaru city and whatare the activities that support the success of student learning outside schoolhours. Subjects in this study were 7 people. The sampling technique used in thisresearch is purposive sampling technique that is the determination of the sampleaccording to the criteria and the purpose of the research.The method used isqualitative research method because this method explain every problem aboutthis title descriptively. Data filtering instruments used are observations,questionnaires, and documents. The theory used is the theory of motivation,socialization theory and social group theory.The results of general researchconducted then the authors can say that student learning activities achievement inschools more for positive activities that support the learning process and also themechanism of learning in high school Plus Bina Bangsa Pekanbaru can be saidquite well, this is in because the existence of supporting components such asstaffing, curriculum, facilities and infrastructure as well as learners who workand participate in improving the quality of schools.Keywords: activity, student achievement, school,Pekanbaru

Abstract

This research describes about the foreign policy and decision making of a country that is identical with the consideration of national interests. By at the end of 2017 the US president made a policy against the UN Security Council resolution on the status of the Holy city of Jerusalem, the US determined Jerusalem to be the new capital of the state of Israel and moved the embassy there. Despite being opposed by the majority of UN member states, Guatemala became the first country to follow the US steps. The purpose of this research was to determine the motivation Guatemala move the embassy to Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem in 2018. This research uses the perspective of realism, realism is a group that considers that the national interest is equated with an attempt to gain power that can be utilized to develop and maintain control of a country against another country to maintain the sovereignty of his country. This research uses foreign policy theory Richard Snyder's with the level of analysis of the nation state because in international relations it is nominated by the behavior of the nation-state. Based on this concept, national interests are considered as a means as well as a goal of a country to survive in the realm of international politics.The results of this research indicate that Guatemala's motivation to move the embassy to Israel to Jerusalem in 2018 was due to pressure from the legislative parliament, the background of decision maker President Jimmy Morales as an evangelical Christian, maintaining national interests against Israel by maintaining diplomatic relations with Israel as an ally with diplomatic relations which has been relatively good since 1948 and the United States is the largest provider of financial assistance to Guatemala every year and promotes Jewish lobbying organizations in the Central America region.Keywords: Policy, Foreign Policy, Embassy, Motivation, Jerusalem

Abstract

This research is motivated by the presence in the village of Silat Pangean Simandolak less preserved by the community. The problems that arise from this research is how the presence in the village of Silat Pangean Simandolak and how to describe the social practices of the theory of habitus, and the realm of capital based on the theory of Bourdieu. The purpose of this study was to determine the presence in the village of Silat Pangean Simandolak and to describe social practices silat Pangean views of the concept of habitus social practice, the realm and the capital. The location of this research was conducted at the sub-district Simandolak Benai Singingi Kuantan District. The method used in this study using a qualitative descriptive study. As informants as much as five (5) persons consisting of 2 (two) Pangean martial arts teacher, one village head and two students who study martial Pangean, while data collection technique using observation, interview by giving the question sheet and documentation. In analyzing the data from this study used a qualitative descriptive analysis method, while the validity of the data using triangulation techniques.The research found that the existence of martial Pangean still performed every 1 Shawwal according to the agreement for generations and become a tradition that must be preserved, this is done in the field of martial Pangean open and witnessed by the public, to show capital raised from the public and local government.Keywords: Silat Pangean, Local Culture, Tradition and Society

Abstract

This research was carried out In the village of Bukit Raya subdistrict of Rejosari Pekanbaru. The purpose of this research is to know the working system in Bank cottage industry of garbage in the village of Bukit Raya subdistrict of Rejosari Pekanbaru. The topic of this research focus is the social changes that occurred in the Bank industry workforce of garbage in the village of Bukit Raya subdistrict of Rejosari Pekanbaru. This research uses the theory of social change. The sample in this study amounted to 6 people. The author uses qualitative methods and use techniques the taking of purposive Sampling. Data instruments are observation, interview and documentation. From the research that is done, the authors find that the Bank's Trash Industry Mastermind Collection was established in 2007. Since its establishment, the Bank Trash Mastermind Collection is already moving and empowering the community in social and economic fields. Work system applied by the mastermind Collection: collecting second-hand, thrift, cleaners and tailors the pattern of recycled products. Workers who collect used goods are generally used to work as a scavenger. Every day they collect used goods in the form of used plastic bottles and wrap food to be recycled by the mastermind Collection. Stages of rubbish piled the stuff done with the wash of disused plastic bottles with water and SOAP and then in dry. After dried litter the former in form and made patterns for sewn and produced. Of the research also found that there were some changes that happened to the workforce in the mastermind Collection, namely: social change, economic change and cultural change.  Keywords: Bank Trash, Social Change
