Abstract

The high infant mortality rate is still a serious problem in Indonesia. Overcoming this problem the government promote the Exclusive Breastfeeding Program and set it in the Government Regulation Number 33 of 2002. Cinta ASI Riau Community as a support group in Exclusive Breastfeeding Program then actively doing persuasive communication to convince mothers to breastfeeding their babies. The purpose of this research is to know the persuasive communication activity conducted by Lactation Counselor of Cinta ASI Community in the aspect of credibility of persuader, persuasive message, media selection and the resultant effect in the effort to increase mother participation in Exclusive Breastfeeding Program in Pekanbaru City.This research uses qualitative research method with Applebaum & Anatol’s persuasive communication model. Determination of the research informant was conducted based on purposive techniques, amounted to 6 person. Data collection techniques include interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques use Miles and Huberman’s interactive data models.The results show that Lactation Counselor of Cinta ASI Riau Community has credibility as a persuader that built from skill aspect through training and certification program and trustworthy aspect from counselor action and practice. Persuasive messages delivered consist of verbal messages including clarity, preciseness, and accuracy in providing information and education about the program. While the nonverbal message seen from the body notion in the form of counselor’s body movements; paralanguage of counselor's intonation; the sensitivity of the skin by giving a touch on the mother's shoulder that displays the closeness and counselor’s care; and use the artifacts with props and counselor appearance. The media selection consists of direct media conducted on home visit/counseling and indirect media using brochures, banners and social media Facebook, Twitter AIMI_Riau and WhatsApp Group Cinta ASI Riau. The resultant effect, first is cognition effect by increased knowledge, understanding and awareness of the mother. Second, affection effect is the mother's consideration about the importance of breastfeeding for the baby and third, conation effect with the mother's actions in breastfeeding on her baby.Keywords: Persuasive Communication, Lactation Counselor, Exclusive Breastfeeding.

Abstract

Increased food industry followed by increasing demand for food products. The number of food products based on different types, shapes and flavors. Food products are needed by humans, therefore the need for continuous monitoring of the household food industry. Because the product of this household food industry is widely consumed. This supervision is carried out by Pekanbaru City Health Office to protect consumers to eat healthy, safe and decent food. The purpose of this study is to find out how Supervision of household food industry permits in Kecamatan Sukajadi and to determine what factors affect. This research is done by using qualitative research method. Data source is taken from primary and secondary data. In data collection, researchers used interview techniques, observation, and documentation. The informants were Pekanbaru City Health Office, Sukajadi District Business Owner, and Consumer, while the data analysis technique used was qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that the supervision conducted by Pekanbaru City Health Office has not been maximal, with the lack of guidance to business actors and unconfirmed punishment sanction, the lack of public participation in giving oral reports to Pekanbaru City Health Office, and the lack of awareness of home industry business owners ladder food against the prevailing regulations. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the promotion mix of tourism object and visitor's responds about the promotion mix which had performed by Taman Margasatwa Kasang Kulim's management. The samples on this research are 100 people, who were taken by using accidental sampling. Based on the both of goals to be achieved, this research used descriptive qualitative technique with triangulation method as the testing of the data validity and descriptive quantitative technique with percentage method as the result statements of visitors‟s respond. The results of this research are Taman Margasatwa Kasang Kulim's management has performed the promotional mix in the form of advertising through newspapers and billboard, personal selling, sales promotion, and public relations. Based on the visitors's respond, the ability of the newspaper as a media promotion through advertising has been accomplished amounting to 67,4%, the billboard amounting to 69,3%, sales promotion amounting to 71,5%, and public relations amounting to 80,1%. Overall, the promotion implementation of Taman Margasatwa Kasang Kulim, Kampar regency, Riau province has been accomplished amounting to 71,2%.Keywords: Advertising, Personal Selling, Sales Promotion, Public Relation

Abstract

background backs of the study of marriage registration services in the city of Pekanbaru given by the Department of Population and Civil Registry and the Office of Religious Affairs has not gone well. Requirements given and the procedures to go through so much and obscurity costs make the community (especially with the economy of middle) becomes unwilling to registry their registration of marriages. The purpose of this study was to determine the Marriage Registration Service Standards in Pekanbaru and determine the factors that affect the Marriage Registration Service Standards.The concept of theory used by author is the concept of public services by Widodo. Author uses qualitative researches with descriptive study. In collecting data author uses the technique of interviewing and observation. Author uses the technique purposive sampling and accidental sampling to determine informants as the sources of information.From the analysis of qualitative descriptive data services carried out by the Department of Population and Civil Registration in Pekanbaru and Office of Religious Affairs of Pekanbaru City in the service of registration of marriages categorized not meet minimum service standards. This can be seen from the procedures, time of completion, and cost of service, product services, facilities and infrastructure, and the competence of personnel service providers who do not run with the maximum from the beginning until the time of completion of registration of marriages. Abstract

Management means a process, method, actions of the manager, the process of carrying out certain activities by moving the power of others, a process that provides oversight of all things involved in implementing policies and achieving goals. This research was conducted at Pemancingan Poyotomo Tourism Object, Bintan Regency, Riau Islands Province. This research aims to determine the general description of facilities at Pemancingan Poyotomo Tourism Objects and to know the process of facility management at Pemancingan Poyotomo Tourism Object, Bintan Regency, Riau Island Province. Qualitative methode was used in this to obtain the full picture occurs in Pemancingan Poyotomo Tourism Object, Bintan Regency, Riau Island Province where researchers tried to describe the actual condition or state by collecting data and information in the field and data collection techniques in this study using observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the research that has been done, the facility management of Pemancingan Poyotomo Tourism Object has not gone well due to some poorly maintained facilities. Keywords : Management, Facility and Pemancingan Poyotomo

Abstract

This research is based on the phenomenon is still often the occurrence of corruption, collusion and nepotism (KKN) practices of goods and services by the government. So that e-procurement can be an instrument to prevent and reduce corruption, collusion and nepotism (KKN) because through e-procurement program, procurement of goods and services can further improve transparency and accountability, increase market access and fair business competition, Improve the efficiency of the procurement process, support monitoring and auditing processes, and meet real-time information access needs. So the purpose of this study is to know the effectiveness of procurement of goods and services electronically (e-procurement) on LPSE Pekanbaru and to determine the factors that affect the effectiveness of procurement of goods and services electronically (e-procurement) on LPSE Pekanbaru.The concept of theory used is effectiveness, which Mahmudi proposes. This research uses qualitative research methods with descriptive data assessment. In the data collecting researchers using interviewing techniques, observation and documentation. By using key informant as source of information and technique of tringulation as source in testing of data validity.The results of this study by using e-procurement program in the procurement of goods and services within Pekanbaru city government has not been implemented effectively. Because this is due to limited human resources (HR), technical difficulties and limited funding. Which all these factors greatly affect the effectiveness of procurement of goods and services electronically (e-procurement) on LPSE Pekanbaru.Keywords: Effectiveness, E-Procurement, LPSE

Abstract

This study was conducted on people who committed domestic violence in plantation communities. The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors behind the domestic violence in the plantation community. The focus of this research is the life profile of plantation community in Seberida Sub-district, Indragiri Hulu Regency. Sampling technique in this study is Purposive Sampling and menetapka number of samples of 7 people. Researchers use qualitative research methods and Instruments data are observations, interview guides, and documentation. According to the research, it can be concluded that the profile of domestic violence acts as a palm oil plantation. The subject of this research can be said that violence in the household can be caused by economic factors that can not fulfill their life and pressure either individual self or from society society and can not solve household problems kinsely so that can trigger violence act. Behavior is a behavior that is not in accordance with the values and norms in society. Then a patriarchal theory in which people consider men to be more powerful than women. So that belief can trigger domestic violence because men are more powerful than women. Men are also heads of families who earn a living for families, so women do not dare to fight when men do violence. Women also consider domestic violence a family disgrace, so women do not dare to tell or report the incident to the authorities. Keywords: Violence, Plantation Society

Abstract

Lifestyle of woman dugem in Pekanbaru city. This research was conducted in the city of Pekanbaru more precisely in MP Club. The purpose of this study is to find out how the lifestyle of women who follow the lifestyle of dugem other than that to know and get the overall data about the factors that form a person following the lifestyle dugem. Subjects in this study amounted to 5 people ie women who follow the lifestyle of dugem. The author uses descriptive qualitative methods and the data are analyzed qualitatively and using observational data collection techniques which include documentation and interviews. From the results of research conducted the authors found that lovers dugem identical with the people who hightclass because dugem require a lot of money. To be able to really enjoy the atmosphere of clubbing informants consuming cigarettes, liquor and narcotics. In addition they like to look glamorous and open to look beautiful and sexy. Can be concluded clubbing activity is a lifestyle with a high level of consumptive, just to just get fun for a moment. To realize the lifestyle of dugem in need of some capital, ranging from social capital, economic, cultural and symbolic. Abstract

Implementation orderly population administration Department of Population and Civil Registration Rokan Hulu (Birth Certificate Case Study). Administration implemented by the government apparatus in settlement arise of birth certificate is not in accordance with a predetermined time. Employees do not serve applicants who apply and do not check the exact requirements and thorough file and not socialized to people about making birth certificates.This study uses the theory Hadari Mawawi on the theory there are 3 variables that include speed, accuracy and transparency / open. Furthermore, the factors that affect the implementation orderly population administration in the department of population and civil registration Rokan Hulu regency (Birth Certificate Case Studies), namely leadership, communication, and human resources. This study used a qualitative approach.The results of this study according to the theoretical concept of speed, accuracy and transparency is not very good for the field of population administration. It can be seen from three variables: the speed is not in accordance with a predetermined time, the accuracy of which the results showed serve the public transparent from the study found that lack of explanation and lack of socialization. While there are three factors that the problem is communication, so the lack of administrative staff to provide information to the public so they do not know the procedure for the birth certificate.Keywords: Order Administration, Population, Birth Certificates

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Working Capital and Capital Structure on the Profitability of Food and Beverage Industries listed on the Stock Exchange. This study uses two indenpendent variables and one depandent variable, namely working capital and capital structure as indenpendent variables and profitability as the dependent variable. The research method used is descriptive quantitative using the program SPSS. The sampling method used was purposive sampling and obtained 8 companies that were sampled from 19 Food and Beverage Companies Listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange. Data collection techniques through interviews and documentation. The results of data analysis using descriptive statistics, classical assumption test, simple regression test, determination test, simple linear regression test, t test, and f test so that it can be seen that working capital has a significant effect on the profitability of food and beverage industry listed on the stock exchange, capital significantly influence the profitability of food and beverage industry listed on the stock exchange, as well as working capital and capital structure have a significant effect on the profitability of food and beverage industry listed on the stock exchange.Keywords: Working Capital, Capital Structure, Profitability
