Abstract

Research on the Control of Fuel Filling Station Public By the Department of Industry and Trade of the city of Pekanbaru in 2012. Research is done to determine and analyze the implementation of the monitoring stations that are Pekanbaru. The problem formulation is encapsulated in the formulation of the problem, namely the implementation of the Monitoring How General Fuel Filling Station by the Department of Industry and Trade of the city of Pekanbaru in 2012?, And Why Monitoring conducted by the Department of Industry and Trade of the city of Pekanbaru In 2012 less than optimal?In this study, the authors used a qualitative approach as a method of problem solving and discovery of data sources. The data required in this study is primary data is data directly from the informer research and research findings when the study was conducted. Research data collection techniques are interview techniques and engineering documentation. Furthermore, after the data obtained is analyzed with descriptive technique, which is done by analyzing the data and facts.The results showed that the implementation of the Department of Industry and Commerce oversight Pekanbaru City in 2012 is still not optimal, this is due to oversight conducted by the Department of Industry and Trade of the city of Pekanbaru is based on reports perkasus. Supervision of the Department of Trade and Industry conducted in Pekanbaru include first Supervision of Institutional / Legal Business, the second Supervision of Availability / Supply, a third of the Price Supervision, Supervision of fourth Purpose / Objective / Usage, fifth Monitoring of the Size / Gauge Pump. The factors that cause less than optimal surveillance conducted by the Department of Industry and Trade of the city of Pekanbaru is human resources are inadequate in monitoring both in terms of quantity and skill or ability. Facilities and infrastructure are also not sufficient in terms of oversight and budget to support the implementation of the gas station less supervision.Keywords: Monitoring, Disperindag, Gas Stations

Abstract

Supervisory control of hospital sewage in the city of Pekanbaru aims to identify andanalyze the supervisory control of hospital sewage in the city of Pekanbaru. In fact there aremany hospitals that have not complied with such as have no means of wastewater treatmentbut get permission hospital sewage control, also the presence of a hospital that does not havesuch permission. Study of phenomena, the formulation of the problem of this research is howthe supervision and control of hospital sewage in the city of Pekanbaru and the factors thatinfluence the supervision and control of hospital sewage in the city of Pekanbaru. This studyuses the theory of Darwis, Eni Yulinda, Lamun Banthara.This study used a descriptive analysis method. Data collection technique is theobservation, interviews, and library research. Key informants of this study is the BadanIngkungan Hidup in Pekanbaru, the hospital and the community.The results showed that not maximal supervisory control of hospital sewage in thecity of Pekanbaru is carried out by the Badan Lingkungan Hidup in Pekanbaru. It looks thereare still hospitals that do not have control permit process wastewater and waste properly. Aswell as not optimal implementation factors that influence the Supervision and Control ofhospital sewage in the city of Pekanbaru is the lack of qualified human resources and expertsto go into the field so there are still many hospitals that have not done direct monitoring. aswell as the need to hold socialization to the community.Keywords: Liquid waste, supervision and control.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the Uruguayan Government policy violates the 1961 Single Convention results relating to narcotic drugs and psychotropic substance, to knowing the implications that will be brought about by the Uruguay Government policy legalizing cultivation, distribution and consumption of cannabis/Marijuana trade international and to find out the extent to which the role of The International Narcotics Control Board (INCB).This study used qualitative research methods which the source data was taken from books, journals, newspapers, internet, and previous research has relevant data with the title. The concept used in this study is the concept of national interest and the theory of Rational Actor. By using Nation - State level behavior analysis, the main focus is to study the behavior of states in getting its interests in international relations.This study will describe Uruguay Government’s violated The Single Convention of 1961 relating to narcotics and psychotropic. Uruguay Government made a policy which every citizen’s can produce and use narcotics and psychotropic freely. Uruguay Government made a Legalization Cannabis/Marijuana. The policy Uruguay Government’s was contradiction with the Single Convention of 1961 about narcotics and psychotropic. Regulation No. 19.172 really contradiction with Article 2 section 9, Article 4, and Article 36. Abstract

The development of Islamic da'wah in this day and age not only do the teachers da'wah (preachers), many media that can be used in preaching to convey the teachings of Islam, such as television, newspapers, magazines, books, the internet, and even a song. Through the lyrics written by the creator of the song, listeners are invited to interpret the brain through the store experience and knowledge, as well as the process as a basic foundation in digesting the beauty of song lyrics. Capable of causing a lot of the lyrics are strongly influenced by the perception of the level of understanding someone who comes from life experience possessed. This study aims to reveal the meaning of Islamic da'wah messages through a song by the band Guardians titled TOMAT (Tobat Maksiat) through the meanings of denotation, connotation of the lyrics of the song that is associated with the myth.The method used is that of Roland Barthes semiotic analysis assumes that the denotation and connotation of the most powerful at the end. Researchers used a form of qualitative research and interpretive approach. The subjects were the lyrics text TOMAT (Tobat Maksiat). The object of research is the meaning of denotation, connotation and myth in the lyrics TOMAT (Tobat Maksiat). In collecting the data, the researchers used a technique of documentation, library research and interviews. The data analysis techniques to be able to draw conclusions that give an overview over the data.The results of this study indicate that the lyrics of the song TOMAT (Tobat Maksiat) presented the meaning of the message propagation is seen directly from the meaning of denotation, connotation and myth in every lyric. Propaganda messages related to aqidah form values is to remember death, advising fellow, begging forgiveness for all sin, and prepare everything needed for the afterlife. Propaganda messages related to Islamic values which form the whole earth will not be eternal, and propaganda messages relating to the worship that is given the value of sin which we have done.Key words : Propaganda, Representation, Semiotics of Roland Barthes

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect on the achievement of personal selling insurance product sales at PT. Prudential Life Insurance Pekanbaru. In this study, personal selling was as an independent variable (X) and the achievement of sales targets was as the dependent variable (Y). The samples used were 86 respondents with a sampling technique by using accidental sampling technique.Overall, the data was obtained through questionnaires and further processed for statistical analysis tested as a simple linear regression analysis, t-test, correlation coefficient, and the coefficient of determination by using SPSS 16 for windows. From the calculation results of regression was obtained the correlation coefficient (r) of 0.711, where the value of the correlation coefficient indicates a strong and positive relationship between personal selling (variable x) to the achievement of sales targets (variable y). While the coefficient of determination (R-square) of 0.505, means that personal selling gives strong and significant influence on the achievement of sales target that is equal to 50.5%. The results of hypothesis test (t test) shows that the t value is greater than the table is 9.260 > 1.989, means that personal selling is positive and significant impact on the achievement of sales targets.Keywords: personal selling, sales target achievement, Prudential Life Insurance

Abstract

Gender issue is an old relative issue become a controversy in the society so often inflicts various interpretations and responses that is often less correct about gender. A comprehension about gender becomes a very important meaning for all circle . mainly in gender equality in society.. The figure of women is human subject who is not man who is often presented as an object by the media. There is woman and be become the commodity by the media that become an ideology in an ads on television media for representation. Social construction and culture crystallize becoming an ideology refraction gender. So that this research aims to knowing the representation of woman in advertisment 60 years tempo scan. There is the puspose of this research is to know how the representation of woman in ads 60 years tempo scan.This research uses qualitative research method. Source of data comes from the elements or the elements that be found in ads 60 years tempo scan, and also be obtained from the audiences who have watched the ads 60 years tempo scan and based on the interview by purposive sampling as the supporting data .The results of research shows that (1) the meaning of denotation , these ads represent woman in the public area is same with a man . The equality of gender in this ads is seen clearly between man and woman , it is proved that Indonesian woman is no longer think traditional that thinks the woman work at home take care of her husband and her children in the home , but woman already work professionally .(2) In connotation meaning , this ads is more emphasis on female portrait that show the nature or characteristic of woman in general , advertiser represent woman in a feminine characteristic that is had by the woman themselves .(3) The myth study of this ads is that woman and man are the same the only difference is biologically respectively , but it does not mean woman againsts their nature as woman in general . The next myth is the woman themselves is not apart her nature as a housekeeper and not apart from the domestic are . Abstract

Kundur Islands is one of uplift in the Riau Islands province, Kundur Island is one of a small town with shipping activity. No wonder if in Kundur Island harbors many of the people there. To manage all the activities in all the ports of the people in the region Kundur islands, then Pos formed under the auspices of the Working Syahbandar Implementation Unit Port (KUPP) Kundur. According to Law No. 17 of 2008 on the cruise, carry out the functions of the port safety and security of shipping which includes implementation, monitoring and enforcement in the field of transport in the waters, ports, and maritime environmental protection at the port. However, based on the authors observations Tanjung Berlian, still a lot of the discrepancy between theory and practice that occur in the field. Examples are as follows: lack of a clear process of issuance of Letter of Approval Sailing (SPB) for shipping agents in ports, Less neat and completeness of documents manning ships that operate in the Post Employment Cape Diamond, Less conduct surveillance and Sailing Bandar tongue in their respective work stations.Based on the above phenomena, the formulation of the problem in this research is: How Workplace Effectiveness of Post Office Task Execution Unit Operator Tanjung Diamond District of North Kundur, Karimun and Factors Affecting Implementation Task Effectiveness of Post Employment Cape Diamond District of North Kundur Karimun.The purpose of this study was to examine the effectiveness of the Post Implementation Task Work Cape Diamond, North Kundur, Karimun Regency and Knowing the factors that influence the effectiveness of post work assignments Cape Diamond. Theory (approach) is used as an analytical tool in this study is about the effectiveness of the proposed theory by Sumaryadi (2005: 105) effectiveness is how well the work take place, where a person menghaliskan sjauh output as expected. While the research methods used in this study is descriptive qualitative research that is intended to provide an overview of systematic explanation of the observed phenomenon.Based on the results of field research on the effectiveness of the writer peaksanaan task Cape Diamond workstations running the Less Well, it can be seen from inspection of the complete document indent indicator ship and crew as well as the issuance of Letter of Approval process indicators that are sailing in the unfavorable category. Abstract

University of Riau in practice has a goal of learning is Three Dharma University. So as to manage the information that is extremely diverse academic university, the University of Riau using academic portal. However, in reality Riau University academic portal system can not ensure smooth in the delivery of academic information that can be enjoyed by the students. So the purpose of this first study, to determine the effectiveness of academic information as a means of delivering information to students. Second, to find out why the service is in the navigation can not be entirely accessible. Third, to determine the constraints of Riau University computer center to provide information updates.This research uses descriptive qualitative method. Students research subject is the University of Riau, Riau University Computer Center employees and Agency Services Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, using purposive sampling technique.The technique of collecting data through participant observation, in-depth interviews and documentation.The results show first, academic portal as a means of delivering academic information is strongly influenced by 3rd parties, namely the performance of the computer room, computer center and the University of Riau quality ISP (Internet Service Provider) have not been effective. Second, academic portal navigation facilities can not be entirely inaccessible due to lack of supervision of Riau University computer center employees. Third, the lack of the number of servers, expertise and supervision of the computer center staff and network intrusions from the Internet Service Provider is a barrier in providing information that is updated.Key word : Effectiveness, Academic Portal, Information Systems,Academic Information System.

Abstract

Pekanbaru is the capital of Riau province who also have serious concerns about the derelict in this regard are street children. Figures existence of street children in the city of Pekanbaru is high enough to be one of the social problems in the community. Pekanbaru city government was not without effort to eradicate street children in the city of Pekanbaru. One way to conduct training to street children, it is the primary goal of the research conducted by the author. In this paper the authors study using qualitative analysis methods. While the data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis of spoken words and observable behavior of the people studied.Based on the results of research conducted and followed by analyzing the data obtained from the question and answer directly to the informant, resulting in that the views of the five substances of government functions: (1) Provision of Services, as a concept has been well formulated but they lack the facilities that support, because only 1 has a facility to conduct training. (2) setting, Pekanbaru City does not have specific regional regulation of street children, street children is only one study in Pekanbaru City Regulation No. 12 Year 2008 on the Social Order. (3) Coordination of the review has been going pretty well, it is seen from the joint raid Social Service and Pekanbaru City Cemetery with other institutions that together took to the streets. (4) Representatives, Parliament representatives of the people, has synergy with the Department of Social and Pekanbaru City Cemetery, special support from relevant Council special budget for development of street children. (5) Development, Social Services and Funeral Pekanbaru, only have one container that LBK, the last condition is far from manicured, and until the end of this research in the LBK has been no activity on social issues. Judging from the five substances, some shortcomings do Social Service and Funeral Pekanbaru City street children in foster such development activities, the construction of additional homes built, as well as the need for understanding and support of all components of both the public and the government to resolve at least reduce the problem of street children.Keywords: Performance of Social Service, Government Functions, Street Child Development.
