Abstract

Badik is a tradiotanal weapon of Bugis tribe. Bugis society believes bringing Badik can bring authority and helpes in a very urgent situation. When wanting to travel far, the man Bugis tribe who believe in the strength of Badik reluctant to leave Badik, as much as possible Badik it will be brought with him. In this case is certainly a controversy of the Indonesian Law with the belief of the community against customary tradition’s including in it the traditonal weapon Bugis tribe Badik or Kawali. Both have an equally strong position in society. With very clear Indonesian Law prohibits individual’s carrying sharp weapon’s, but for the community of Bugis is a protector for him. the theory used is the theory of Symbolic Interactionisme by George Herbert Mead.Data analysis was done by descriptive method with qualitative approach, the data collecting technique in the research was purposive where the respondent is 7 people consisting of the elder and the ordinary people who have Badik aged 30 years above. From the results of the research in the field, it is known that the social function of Badik for the tribe of Bugis in the urban village of Kijang, the subdistrict of Reteh, the downstream Indragiri Hilir, that is the identity of the Bugis man to maintain the self – esteem (siri). The strength of the Badik comes from the old iron which has long been believed to have magical powers that can affect the condition, the state of the owner. The beliefs of the Bugis tribe people against Badik are still attached to this day, but the public understanding of the symbol’s found in Badik has been reduced.Kata Kunci:Meaning , Badik, Bugis Tribe.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the persial and simultaneous influence of firm size, sales growth, and profitability of capital structure. Where independent variables in this study is the size of the company, sales growth, and profitability while the dependent variable is the capital structure. The sample used is secondary data derived from the financial statements of textile and garment companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) period 2009 to 2014. This study uses secondary data from the company's financial statements. Samples and sampling using purposive sampling technique. The classical assumption test in this research includes normality test, multicollinearity test, heterokedastisity test and autocorrelation test. Data analysis using multiple linear regression analysis, t test, F test, and test of coefficient of determination. Data analysis using multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS 20. The results of this study indicate that firm size variables persial (t test) affect the capital structure, while the variable sales growth and profitability does not affect the capital structure of textile and garment companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The simultaneous test results (f) show the significant effect of firm size variable, sales growth, and profitability on capital structure in textile and garment companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. Abstract

This research carried out in the Village Kuala Terusan Pelalawan Regency. The purpose of this research is to analyze the aspirations of the Village Kuala Terusan against the help of the housing worth living in accordance with the needs of. The focus of this study is the development of the use of the goverment in objectify program help housing worth living given to the public. This study using a quantitative analysis of the descriptive and set a sample of as munch 50 People Head Family (HF) using a method random sampling and instrumen data is inquiries or kuisioner, the interview, observations, and the documentation.Research conducted, the authors found that the development that carried out of the goverment in the help of the housing worth living in the Village Kuala Terusan using the concept of the development of Top-Down (from the top to bottom). Where planning carried out by the government as the default the idea of as well as the government to act more dominant in set the program that originated from, the process of planning to evaluation, the role of people don’t be involved. The aspirations of the people of the help of the housing worth living, the aspirations againts the location; the location that is not far from the river, but not to be in the low. The aspirations of the respondents againts the form of the house; the form of house type the stage. Abstract

Institute for the Development and Quality Assurance of Education, University of Riau has the task of coordinating, implementing, monitoring, and evaluation of improvement activities and the development of learning and education quality assurance University of Riau. Less serious Riau University in developing educators, where the lack of seriousness with the phenomenon: lack of development road map educators, lack of coordination between units in the development of educators development of educators partial (not complete), lack of competence map educators University of Riau and not the division of labor in a unit in the development of educators.The purpose of this study is to investigate the implementation of quality assurance policies Riau University in the development of the quality of teachers from 2010 to 2014 and to identify obstacles in the implementation of quality assurance policies Riau University in the development of the quality of teachers 2010-2014. In this study the authors used qualitative methods and this paper outlines in a descriptive way. In gathering research data, the data collection techniques used were interviews and documentation.The results of this study concluded that quality assurance policy Riau University in the development of the quality of teachers 2010-2014 has not done well because in addition to lack of support also their educators who join the training is placed in a different position so that experienced problems in its development. Obstacles in the implementation of quality assurance policies Riau University in the development of the quality of teachers 2010-2014: (1) awareness is still lacking lecturers and employees, (2) Limited facilities and infrastructure, and (3) Budget less.Keywords: Policy, Quality Assurance, Quality

Abstract

Economic empowerment of ex-prostitutes is an assistance provided by the Pekanbaru city Social Service for ex-prostitutes. This is very important to supply the basic needs of every citizen which includes social rehabilitation, assurance, social empowerment and social protection. This research was conducted at the Social Service of Pekanbaru city. The formulation of the problem in this research was how the function of the Pekanbaru city Social Service in the economic empowerment of ex-prostituted in Pekanbaru city and what factors affected the function of the Social Service in the economic empowerment of ex-prostitutes in Pekanbaru city. The purpose of this researchare to know the function of the Pekanbaru city Social Service in the economic empowerment of ex-prostituted inPekanbarucity and what factors influenced the function of the Social Service in the economic empowerment of ex-prostitutes in Pekanbaru city. This research use the concept of organizational theory by Wursanto (2005: 270). This research uses qualitative research methods with descriptive data assessment and data analysis techniques using interactive models from Milles and Huberman cited by Sugiyono (2008: 142). The type and source of this data are primary data and secondary data, while the data collection technique of the research uses interview, observation and documentation techniques. The results of this research can be identified based on the following indicators (1) planning activities, the Pekanbaru city Social Service makes training activities for ex-prostituted women (2) Organizing, in carrying out this program the Pekanbaru city Social Service collaborates with Utama Riau Foundation (3) giving motivation (motivating), ex-prostitute women get motivation in the form of direction from the Utama Riau Foundation appointed by the Social Service as the executor of Productive Economic Business (4) controlling, every month the Utama Riau Foundation monitors the program of Productive Economic Business run by women who are prostitutes. Abstract

This research was conducted to describe how the role of Production Studio RRI Bengkalis in keeping nationalism in the border area in Bengkalis. The purpose of this research was to see the extent to which the role of Production Studio RRI Bengkalis in keeping nationalism border communities in Bengkalis 2015.This research is a descriptive research using a qualitative approach as a tool of analysis. The research was conducted in Bengkalis. This study uses document observation and interview with key informants as an object of information that aims to achieve the goal to have the information in this study. Data used in this study are primary data and secondary data obtained through direct observation and interviews with key informants in this research.RRI Bengkalis role in keeping nationalism in the border area can be seen from the role that has been done is its role in strengthening national identity and centering margin, which is where the problem of sound quality RRI Production Studio Bengkalis not good enough to be heard by residents in the border area of Bengkalis. Abstract

In the Toba Batak tribe community, especially Batak Toba students partuturan marga very important as determining the kinship system. The partuturan also serves as a bridge in the implementation of adat rules of Dalihan Na Tolu in the Toba Batak community. Partuturan marga is considered important for the Toba Batak community is who we are at Dalihan Na Tolu. Partuturan marga with clan diversity  is ideal for the Toba Batak tribe to look for clan kinship which is a matchmaking tradition from ancient times until now although it is a simple thing but this could be happen, because in principle the Bataknese, clan becomes self-identity, if you have a same clan but not as blood, thats could be called as a brotherhood, but if it's blood but not one clan then that can be questioned. The subjects of this research were 8 people where the subject of this study is Parsinabung and chair of the community clan college student, and students who are doing activities in Pekanbaru city. The technique of determining informants in this study is using purposive sampling technique. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research method. The theory used is the Symbolic Interaction theory proposed by Ralph Larossa and Donald C. Reitzes (1993) in the West-Turner. The results of the research can be concluded that understanding of Partuturan Marga Batak Toba at The Toba Batak Student Community in Pekanbaru is the most valueable because process in Attracting the Clan Kinship Systems, The Toba Batak tribe must be based on Partuturan Marga , but this tradition has begun to be erroneous with the development of technology and science. Keywords : Partuturan Marga Toba Batak, Symbolic interactionism.

Abstract

The Ministry of Trade Regulation on the Prohibition on the Import of Used Clothes is established since 2015, if the implementation of this policy is well implemented it will generate enormous benefits for the Indonesian State especially for the domestic textile industry. According to data from the Ministry of Commerce published in online news Inhil klik.com on Monday, February 9, 2015 mention that the most used clothing storage area in Indonesia is in Indragiri Hilir regency is in Tembilahan. Indragiri Hilir regency, which directly borders neighboring countries such as Singapore, has a great potential to import used clothing so that it needs an intensive and professional handling. Implementation of policies in principle is a way for a policy to achieve its objectives, no more and no less. The problem of this research is how Implementation of Ministry of Trade Regulation on Prohibition of Imported Used Clothes (Case Study in Tembilahan) and What are the factors that hinder the implementation of the policy. The purpose of this research is to know and analyze Implementation of Ministry of Trade Regulation on Prohibition of Imported Used Clothing (Case Study in Tembilahan) and to know and analyze the implementation.The concept of theory that the author uses is policy and policy implementation. And the theory used is Grindle theory with two variables namely policy content and implementation environment. This research uses qualitative research methods with descriptive data assessment. In data collection, the authors use interviews, observation and documentation. By using key information as a source of information.The results of this indicate that the implementation of trade ministry regulations on the ban on imports of used clothing (Case studies in Tembilahan) has not run optimally. The factors which is obstruct the implementation of trade ministry regulations concerning are human resources from the actor of policy, still lack of coordination among related institutions, still lack of financial budger to finance socialization to the target group, economic condition of society, the location of the culture and culture of the people in Tembilahan.Keywords: Policy, Policy Implementation, Prohibition on Import of Used Clothing

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Organizational Culture and Organizational Climate partially and simultaneously. This study used a questionnaire as a tool for gathering data distributed to 43 respondents to employees at the Tjokro Pekanbaru hotel. The data is then processed using descriptive analysis and statistical analysis using SPSS 25.0 by conducting validity, reliability testing, simple linear regression analysis, multiple linear analysis, determination analysis (R2) and hypothesis testing with t test (partial test) and F test (simultaneous ).The results showed that the first hypothesis testing is organizational culture on job satisfaction, namely t arithmetic (5,680)> t table (2,020), meaning that organizational culture has a significant effect on job satisfaction. The second Organizational Climate is t arithmetic (5,680)> t table (2,020), meaning that organizational climate has a significant effect on job satisfaction. Test results F arithmetic (25,640)> F table (3,230), meaning that organizational culture and organizational climate simultaneously have a significant effect on job satisfaction. Keywords: Organizational Culture, Organizational Climate, Job Satisfaction.

Abstract

This research explaining the role of ICRC in dealing with victims of the armed conflict in the Syria Arab Republic that began in 2011, between Assad government and rebel forces Syria. President Bashar Al-Assad protested by Syrian in March 2011. Assad government used armed forced to handle the demonstrations which led conflict started to blow up. Since the conflict began Syrian people faced situations that the risk their right. Civil, children were killed shot by the gun, explosive shelling, detention and bombing, the conflict itself affect the humanitarian crisis in Syria; damaged infrastructure, killed and injured were people syria, refugees, suffer from due lack to food and medicine.The research use pluralism perspective of International Relations. Pluralism believes that state is not the only actor in the international world. This research is also guided by international organization theory and role. The techniques used to collects data to study the case to library research in the form of journals, books, official document, article, and website. Formulation of all arguments, facts, and theoretical framework for this research is guided by qualitative explanation methods.ICRC has keep it focus a mission on behalf of helping the war victims during the conflict and the effect of the humanitarian crisis in Syria by aid food, providing clean water and upgrading sanitation water supply infrastructure, distributed hygiene kits, mats, rugs, blankets and winter clothing to the needs of millions of people affected by the conflict.Keyword: ICRC, armed conflict, the humanitarian crisis in Syria
