Abstract

Alternative medicine is now the main purpose besides hospitals for the community, especially rural or middle class people, with lower cost and easier distance in access one of Miftahussifa alternative treatment which now become one of the goals for Suka Makmur villagers for treatment. The purpose of this study is to find out how the system in doing Miftahussifa in the treatment and how the benefits for the health of the community around where Motivation is a theory that is used in which each patient must have the motivation to heal and find ways to do the healing as well as the five patients which was involved in this study. From the seam of patients in the find out where the alternative treatment Miftahussifa is very useful existence for the sick around the community with a cheaper cost and easy distance in access, but this treatment can also be done for people who do not have disease for do preventive treatment before illness.Keyword : Alternative Medicine

Abstract

The Government of Indonesia has ratified the Agreement on the Establishment of the World Trade Organization (WTO) through Law No. 7 of 1994. By ratifying it, Indonesia has an obligation to observe and comply with all the rules in the WTO, including agreements on agriculture (Agreement on Agriculture / AoA). In the AoA-WTO, there are three main pillars, namely 1. Market access, 2. Domestic Support, and 3. Export Subsidies.Export subsidies are government assistance contributed financially to domestic producers or exporters. The export of a commodity / product can be encouraged by the subsidy, because the price will be cheap and increase the competitiveness.Developing countries with low GDP are unable to provide export subsidies to their exporters, the price of goods is high. This causes the price gap between developed countries and developing countries. At the WTO conference in Nairobi the member states agreed to abolish export subsidies. This study aims to analyze the impact of the policy on abolishing export subsidies by the WTO.Keywords: World Trade Organization, Export Subsidies, Agreement on Agriculture

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to figure out the effectivity of sugary tariff done by Mexicoin 2014 on Coca Cola Company from the United States in case of the usage of High-FructoseCorn Syrup (HFCS) in Coca Cola soda that has increased mortality and obesity in Mexico, asthe background of this writing. Sugary Tariff policy issued by the Mexican government in 2014is a new policy to overcome the rate of circulation of soft drinks and to reduce the level ofconsumption as an attempt to avoid obesity.This study uses an Economic approach known as Mercantilism. There are two wellknownperspectives related in the study of International Political Economy: 1) the perspectiveof liberalism that offers free trade among countries in the world without any restriction in theform of tariff or non-tariff; and 2) the perspective of Mercantilism (economic nationalism)which is identical to protectionism.Protection strategy is a policy that is often used by a country to protect the nationalinterests especially by the affectuation of free market (Free Trade Area). Nowadays, Coca Colahas dominated 70% of the sales of soft drinks in Mexico and has affected Mexico's economicdevelopment. Hence, the enactment of sugary tariff in 2014 is a Mexican effort to protect theinterests of the country and it also has impacted to the Coca Cola Company.Kata Kunci : sugary tariff, HFCS , Kebijakan, Obesitas, Konsumtif, National Ekonomi,Merkantilis, Free Trade Area.

Abstract

Culinary tours in Indonesia are filled with various variations, one of which is processed products from durian fruit. This study aims to describe durian culinary tours on Jendral Sudirman street Pekanbaru city and find out consumers responses to durian culinary tours on Jendral Sudirman street Pekanbaru city. This research method is a quantitative method. Data collection techniques are carried out by observation, interviews, documentation and questionnaires. The results showed that the durian culinary tour was a tourist product in which there were attractions such as the taste of durian fruit which was delicious, had a soft texture, the beauty of the processed durian colors looked attractive. Accessibility to durian culinary tourism locations that are very strategic makes it easy for consumers to come and public transportation is easy to get to get to that location. And has facilities available in durian culinary tours such as parking lots, tables and chairs, wipes, hand washers, toilets and trash cans. This attraction, accessibility, and facility will be responded by consumers to find out the assessment of durian culinary tourism products.Keywords: Culinary Tourism, Attractions, Accessibility, Facilities

Abstract

In the village of Kinali Batobo already has two forms or types, there are in a group Batobo of Lubuk Buayo in the village of Kinali. As for the purpose of the research is the first to find out how the type Group Batobo Lubuk Buayo Kinali village district Kuantan Mudik Kuantan Singingi regency. The second purpose to know how social system on type of group existing in the Group Batobo at Lubuk Buayo Kinali village district Kuantan Mudik Kuantan Singingi regency. The research includes the type of qualitative research, this research was conducted in the Dusun Tiga referred to as society with the Lubuk Buayo Kinali village district Kuantan Mudik Kuantan Singingi regency. The techniques used in the determination of the sampling and research is Purposive Sampling, data collection is done using the method of observation, interview. Then the data that has been collected in the form of words analyzed by qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. As for the findings in the study, namely the existing Batobo of Lubuk Buayo Kinali Village has two types of social groups. The first type, namely the Group of Batobo Kecil (Tobo Kenek) are included in the social group that is Called (gemeinschaft) rather belongs into the sellers because the type (gemeinschaft of place). Type into two Large Groups Batobo Besar (Tobo Godang) included in social groups, namely Patembayan (gesellscaft). Social systems on each type of group existing in the Group Batobo at Lubuk Buayo Kinali village already structured in each type of group batobo already has the position (status) and role (role) as seen from the existence of the Office of the Leader, the Treasurer, and members. As each Member of the Group has had the responsibility of batobo, obligations, and rights of which varies according to the position and role of each in the Group batobo.Keyword : Batobo, Group, System

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the implementation of promotion by the manager Taman Satwa Kandi and factor inhibiting in the implementation of promotion.This research used a qualitative method with descriptive approach, this subjects of this research is chairman of PT.WWS as the manager, staff of PT.WWS promotion, head of marketing and tourism cooperation department of tourism, youth and sport department, and additional informants are visitors. The data collection is made by a interview, observation, and documentation.The result of this research is manager Taman Satwa Kandi has done promotion trought four media namely advertising, sales promotion, publicity, and personal selling. The inhibiting factor of the implementation of such promotion faced by the manager is the manager is not focused on the development of a one tourist attraction only because of the management in the form of PT shelter the four attractions, the quality of existing human resources is less than optimal, and the lack of cost in promotions.Keywords : Advertising, sales promotion, publicity, personal selling

Abstract

This study was conducted at Plaza Mebel Furniture Center Pekanbaru which is located on Soekarno Hatta No.89A, Tangkerang Barat, Pekanbaru City, Riau, 28282. This study aims to determine how much influence the product, price, promotion and place on customer loyalty. Samples were taken by 100 respondents and techniques used pusposive Sampling. The data in this study using a survey through questionnaires filled out by customers. The data were obtained using multiple regression analysis. The results showed a significant effect on product Customer Loyalty. Promotion significant effect on Customer Loyalty. Price significant effect on Customer Loyalty. Place significant effect on Customer Loyalty. And simultaneously Product, Promotion, Price and Place significant effect on Customer Loyalty. Keywords: Product, Promotion, Price, Place, Customer Loyalty.

Abstract

Generally, Takraw sports is done by men because it needs physical strength and special techniques in the game. But now the paradigm that must be dichotomized between masculine male sports and feminine women's sports has been overhauled as soccer takraw is now increasingly in demand by women and has been contested at regional , national and international level. Becoming a female sepak takraw is not an easy profession. In fact, there is no woman who was born and named instantly as an athlete. The aim of this research is to idemtify the motive, the self-meaning and the meaning of sepak takraw profession for female sepak takraw atlete Pengurus Province (Pengprov) RiauThis study uses a qualitative research method with the study of Phenomenology. The subject of this research was ten of female sepak takraw athletes Pengurus Province (Pengprov) Riau that was chosen by snowball technique. The data collection technique was collected through interview, observation, and research documentation. This study uses data analysis techniques ranging from data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusion. To achieve the validity of data in this study, researcher used extension of participation and triangulation.The results showed first, the motive of female  sepak takraw athletes Pengurus Province Riau consisted of motives because namely motivated by others, curiosity, and encouragement of parents, while the in order to motive on the takraw female athletes were  proud parents ,becoming takraw coaches, better achievements, want to be a sepak takraw motivation and self-proof. Secondly, female sepak takraw  athletes Pengurus Province Riau interpreted themselves as a great women, as independent women and as women with achievements. Thirdly, sepak takraw female athletes Pengurus Province Riau defines that this sepak takraw female profession is as a sport that produces, unique sports, extreme but fun sports and sports that can increase self-confidence. Keywords: Female Sepak Takraw, Motive, Selft Meaning, Meaning of

Abstract

This paper is a Bilateral Trade study that provides an analysis of the Cooperation of two countries in the fulfillment of needs and achieve their nasal interests. This research is focused on Indonesia Crude Palm Oil (CPO) Exports to Vietnam from 2012-2015. Crude Palm Oil is the result of processed pulp of palm fruits as vegetable oil which is needed as industrial material and household consumption. Where Indonesia as the world's largest producer of palm oil contributes 51% to the world's palm oil demand and engages in exports to various countries including VietnamThis paper uses a conceptual basis, with the concept of International Cooperation where here International cooperation is formed because of international life covering various fields such as ideology, politics, economy, social culture, environment and security defense. These problems have brought countries in the world to form an international cooperation. Supported by National Nation's analysis level and Liberalism Perspective. The concept leads to qualitative methods and field studies and is assisted by literature studies as a source of information.MoU on Cooperation between Indonesia and Vietnam is a form of Indonesia's national interest, where in bilateral cooperation between the two countries the final destination is profit. Therefore, the cooperation of CPO exports to be one of the many Indonesian exports to Vietnam to achieve the trade value set in the Plan of Action of both countries amounted to USD 10 billion.Keywords: Indonesia, Vietnam, Cooperation, Export, Crude Palm Oil

Abstract

There are so many changes happened in Sakai Tribe community in Kampung Minas Barat Kabupaten Siak guch as : religion changes, economic changes and education changes. They are very advance and it can be seen from the way of thinking, attitude and behavior and their habitual activities. Now they are able to accept new cultures that come in their society. Tihis research is almed to know what changes are happening to them and what factors caused that. This research used qualitative sample using snowball sampling and there are three (3) important respondents in sakai tribe society. Observation and interview were used as colleting data method to know about the real condition of socio culture changes of sakai tribe in kampung minas barat. It was found that sakai tribe have some internal factors which came from their community and eksternal factors which came from outside of their community like technology tools etc.Key Words : Socio-Culture, Changes, Sakai Tribe
