Abstract

Thesis titled "Strategies Merchant Tuak street Arengka Dua District of Payung Sekaki" began with the interest the authors look at the phenomenon of the existence of palm wine seller. Wine merchant is one of the informal sector where the activities carried out every hari.Tuak is one of the drinks are included in the group alcoholic, fermented beverage ingredients / fruits that contain sugar. Tuak so that the sellers are required to have a strategy for the business being operated can survive. The strategies used can be either a physical strategy, or appears to be doing other work and add other merchandise and also a strategy that does not look like interaction and social capital committed by wine merchants. This research was conducted in subjects with interviewing owners of existing wine lapo Arengka Dua streets. Results from this study is the result of data analysis of the data obtained through interviews and observations conducted.Keywords: Profile, Strategy, Informal Sector.

Abstract

             In the Regency of Singingi, there is a program to increase employement opportunities, which is one program to overcome the number of unemployed people. Through an increase in employment opportunities the community can conduct training and employment skills. The phenomenon that arises in the strategy for implementing job opportunities programs is that the strategy for implementing job opportunities is not maximized, the people who are trained in job training are not in accordance with the desired productivity, there are still many unemployed in Kuantan Singingi Regency. The purpose of this study was to find out the strategy for implementing the job opportunity improvement program in the one stop investment service and Kuantan Singingi Regency. The theoritical concept used in this study is the basic dimension of an organization, reach, and cost control. The selection of informants for this study used purposive sampling technique. The results of study indicate that the strategy for implementing the job opportunity improvement program has not been maximized so that the agency cooperates with private vocational training centers. In addition, there is no scheduling in the implentation of job training. The inhibiting faktors for the program implementation strategy for increasing employment opportunities are the absence of vocational training centers, less than optimal performance, the absence of  optimal information on job vacancies, and budget constraints that cannot accommodate all training costs

Abstract

This research was conducted by Alpha Hotel Pekanbaru located in the street of Imam Munandar (Harapan Raya), Simpang Sudirman No.17, 28282 Pekanbaru. This study aims to determine the effect of career development and work motivation on employee job satisfaction at Alfbaru Hotel pekanbaru.In this study the method used was quantitative descriptive with the SPSS program ver. 17 for Windows. The population in this study were all employees at the Alpha Hotel Pekanbaru, which numbered 71 employees. The sample in this study was taken using the census method, namely 71 employees. Methods of data collection using questionnaires (questionnaire) and free interviews. Hypothesis testing uses multiple linear analysis methods with the results of research namely Y = 2.459a + 0.327X1 + 0.652X2The research that has been done shows the results that respondent's response to career development, work motivation in good category. While for the t test that has been done shows that career development variables and work motivation partially have a significant effect on employee satisfaction. And the results of the F test show that career development and work motivation are simultaneously. And for the calculation of the determination coefficient (R2), the R Square value is 0.927, for employee job satisfaction. This shows that career development and work motivation have an effect of 92.7% on employee job satisfaction, while the remaining 7.3% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study. Keywords: Career Development, Work Motivation, Employee Job Satisfaction

Abstract

At this time, in the millineal era, the development of Information and Technology Science and the increasing emancipation of women that affect social change in Minangkabau society, for example changes in values, behavior patterns, and other habits. One of them is migrating that has undergone a change, both in terms of patterns and values in it. Wandering at this time is not only done by men but many Minangkabau women also migrate. The focus topic of this research is "Culture of Moving Minangkabau Women (Case Study Migrating Minangkabau Women in Pekanbaru City)", the issues raised in this study are: What is the background of Minangkabau women migrating? and What are the Minangkabau women getting while migrating in Pekanbaru? The purpose of this research is to find out the background of Minangkabau women migrating and to find out what Minangkabau women have gained while migrating. The research method used is a qualitative research method. Research location in Pekanbaru city. As for the informants in this study were 9 people according to predetermined criteria (purposive sampling).. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation, the results of research in general are the reasons for Minangkabau women to migrate because of economic factors that are difficult to accommodate, supporting social factors and also conflicting customs. And there are changes in the standard of living for Minangkabau women who migrate, starting in terms of economic, social and well-being. Keywords: Minang Women, Merantau.

Abstract

This research aims to determine about to find out the promotion strategies carried out by the Office of Youth, Sports and Tourism of the Indragiri Hulu Regency. This research to make use qualitative method to analysis set of case, which to become the key informan in this research as much as nine people’s. That is the head of the Tourism Office, the head of tourism, the head of the tourism marketing section, the tourism staff and the head of the pokdarwis of Lake Meduyan. Sources were obtained through observation, interview, and documentation. Based on result of this research, that has been conducted, for the whole of the results of the interview answers said that the promotion of Meduyan Lake tourism objects has been done, but still need to raising required.Keywords : strategy, promotion, tourism.

Abstract

The increasing criminal cases commited by children led to a growing importance the role of coaching. The coaching was carried out in Child Correctional Institution (LPKA Pekanbaru). The purpose of the coaching is to make the child prisoners not to repeat a criminal act.The purpose of this research is to find out the effectiveness of the coaching of child prisoners in Pekanbaru Child Correctional Institution and the factors affecting the effectiveness of the coaching in Pekanbaru Child Correctional Institution (LPKA Pekanbaru). This research uses the concept of the theory of effectiveness by Mahmudi. This research used a qualitative approach, method to collect data through interview, observation and documentation.Based on the result of the research through interviews and observations, it is known that the coaching of child prisoners in Pekanbaru Child Correctional Institution (LPKA Pekanbaru) has been effective. Coaching is effective because the purpose has been reached. The result analysis showed in which the factors that affect the effectiveness of coaching of this program are:facilities and infrastructure, human resources, the psychological of children and child discipline.Keywords : Effectiveness, Child Prisoners, Coaching

Abstract

The studies aims to determine and analyze the meaning of the boy in town Sidikalang Dairi. This study is qualitative study that analyzed descriptively. The theory used in this research is the theory of structural functional by the Parson. In this study the number of respondents as many as seven people. A sampling technique is Purposive samplin. The results of the field say that the child is gift from God that is in forward,especially those in the public Batak Toba highly preferred boys because the boys are bearres of the clan and descendant successor to the family Batak Toba. Child is the pride of the community Batak Toba .Batak Toba children in the community as well as additions (sahala) authority for the parents so that the Toba Batak people do not have the boy felt like there was less because if it does not have the boy's family line will be extinct Keywords: Custom,Meaning Boy,Batak Toba.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Country Of Origin and Brand Image on Interest Buy on Samsung Smartphone Products (Study At PT Samsung Elektronic Indonesia Branch Pekanbaru). Country Of Origin is a person's view of a product from the country of origin of the product concerned. Brand Image is one important part in the company because the attitude and actions of consumers against a company brand is determined by the brand image of the company. Country of origin and brand image can have an impact on buying interest. With the influence of country of origin and brand image of buying interest then the product from the country of origin and have a brand image so that consumer buying interest appears. This research was conducted at PT Samsung Elektronic Indonesia Pekanbaru Branch. This study took the number of respondents ie 100 people.Data obtained through questionnaires. The data from the questionnaire is further processed using statistical analysis that is simple linear analysis, multiple linear analysis, determination analysis, and significance test with t test (partial), F (simultaneous) test.The results showed that the test results of the first t test hypothesis that is country of origin to buy interest is tcount (19.249)> ttabel (1,984) means country of origin significant effect on buying interest. Both brand image of buying interest is titung (9,982)> ttable (1,984) meaning there is significant influence between brand image to consumer buying interest. F test results of country of origin and brand image of buying interest are F arithmetic (203,142)> F table (3.090). This means that the country of origin and brand image simultaneously significantly influence consumer buying interest.Keywords: Country Of Origin, Brand Image, Buying Interest

Abstract

This study was to determine the Influence of Work Supervision And Work Discipline on Employee Productivity (Case Processing Part PT. Mitra Agung Swadaya (MAS) District of Kelayang Indragiri Hulu). This research is located in South Cross Street, Sungai Golang Village, District Of Kelayang Indragiri Hulu. The population of this study were all employees in PT. Mitra Agung Swadaya (MAS) part processing numbering 49 people. Data analysis in this study using SPSS. Sampling technique is a method uses census and testing techniques used in this study include validity test, reliabilitas test, multiple linier, regression analysis, t-test and f-test to test and prove the research hypothesis.Result of analysis with spss program, the result of relationship between supervision of work (X1) and discipline work (X2) with employee productivity (Y) has a very strong relationship. Partially, supervision of work (X1) have a significant effect on employee productivity, while the work discipline variable(X2) have a significant effect on employee productivity.Keywords : Work Supervision, Work Discipline, Employee Productivity

Abstract

This research was conducted in Sungai Pinang Indah Village Kubu Babussalam Sub-District Rokan Hilir Regency. This research entitled "Puppies of Toddlers Children at Family Couples Married Early Age in Sungai Pinang Indah Village Kubu Babussalam Sub-district Rokan Hilir". The purpose of this research is to know the pattern of parenting of children under five in families of married couples early age in Sungai Pinang Indah Village. The focus of this research is the impact of early marriage on toddler pattern in Sungai Pinang Indah Village. Determination of the number of samples used by the authors in this study is by Purposive Sampling method as many as 3 parents who married at an early age based on data from the Office of Religious Affairs Kubu Babussalam District. Data instruments are observation, interview and documentation. Research conducted found that there are several patterns of child care that is applied by the family of married couples early age in the village of Sungai Pinang Indah is as follows: Permissive parenting pattern, Parenting emphasize what is done by children allowed parents, parents obey all children's wishes. Research subjects did not screen child behavior choices. Every child's will is obeyed as the child wishes. Democratic parenting, Parents and children can not do arbitrarily, children are trusted and trained to account for all his actions are not hypocritical and honest. Research subjects have attempted so that they can control children as much as possible. Authoritarian parenting, For parents who adopt authoritarian upbringing systems. Each child will be in shape according to what he wants, not based on what the child wants and the child can afford. Research subjects admitted pretty hard on his son. Children are often ignored with in-laws. So the child spent more time with his grandmother and grandfather.Keywords: Foster Pattern, Marriage, Early Age, Impact
