Abstract

In carrying out the main tasks and functions of the Pekanbaru City Manpower Office based on the Pekanbaru City Regulation No. 8 of 20018 concerning the Formation of Organizational Structure, Position, and Main Duties of Offices in the Pekanbaru City Government Environment, the Pekanbaru City Manpower Office has duties and functions, one of which is an increase in the quality of skilled, productive and independent human resources in creating jobs and being able to meet the needs of work and the world of work.As for the Problems Formulation in this study, namely: First, How the Implementation of Duties and Functions of the City of Pekanbaru Manpower Office in Pekanbaru City in 2017-2018. Second, What are the factors faced by the Office of Manpower in Carrying Out its Tasks and Functions in Reducing the Unemployment Level in Pekanbaru City in 2017-2018. Reducing Unemployment in Pekanbaru City in 2017-2018. Second, to find out what are the factors faced by the Office of Manpower in Carrying Out its Tasks and Functions to Reduce Unemployment in Pekanbaru City in 2017-2018. This research is a qualitative research. This research was conducted at the Pekanbaru City Manpower Department. The techniques used to collect data in this study are (1) Interviews, (2) Observation, and (3) Documentation.The conclusion of this research shows that the implementation of the duties and functions of the Pekanbaru City Manpower Office in Reducing the Unemployment Rate in Pekanbaru City has been running optimally. With proven programs implemented such as successful programs that have been implemented such as the job expo program and job fair ... Pekanbaru City Manpower Office to reduce the unemployment rate in Pekanbaru City and the low interest in filling vacancies outside the region. The author suggests that the Pekanbaru City Manpower Office should improve its performance in overcoming the problem of unemployment on a regular basis to improve the quality of job seekers through the improvement of certified education and research. Keywords: Pekanbaru City Manpower Office, Unemployment.

Abstract

This study explains about Qatar's withdrawal from OPEC membership. Qatar joined OPEC in 1961. Qatar is a small producer in OPEC. Qatar produces 601.000 barrels per day and contributes 2% of OPEC's total output. Qatar is the first GCC country to leave OPEC. The source of this research was obtained through literature reviews, books, websites, and others. The source of analysis is qualitative method. This study uses the perspective of liberalism, the level of analysis of the nation state, this research based on foreign policy theory and the concept of national interest in analyzing research. On 3 December 2018, the Secretary General of OPEC, Mohammed. S Barkindo, received a letter from Qatar expressing its desire to withdraw from OPEC pursuant to Article 8 of the FAO Statute. Qatar's decision to withdraw from OPEC to increase its role internationally as well as its long-term strategic plan. The geo-political context of Qatar's decision is mostly related to the behavior of marginalization of Saudi Arabia within OPEC, through coordination with Russia and Donald Trump's pressure on OPEC.   Keywords: OPEC, LNG, PETROLEUM, GEOPOLITIC.

Abstract

The role of the education office is the supervisors, controllers, administrators and supervisors of primary and secondary education for the realization of national education. As for the function of education that is as a tool to free people from ignorance, oppression, backwardness and poverty that hit the Indonesian society.The purpose of this study is to : (1) Know the role of the education office in the prevention of children prone to drop out; (2) Know what are the causes of still children who drop out of school. This research uses qualitative research method with descriptive research type, which can be interpreted as problem solving process which is investigated by describing the state of research subject based on facts that appear during the research which then continued with based on the existing theories. Data analysis is done by data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion or verification.Based on the results of this study concluded that with the role of the Education Office then the level of public participation in the importance of education activities in Pekanbaru City will increase. But the fact that the participation of the community on the lack of education is caused by several factors,namely the low interest of children to go to school, the size of brothers, economic factors, social factors, peer factors and others. As for the factors that will cause the existence of children who drop out of school is the misuse of budget allocations, and lack of extension in remote areas.Keywords: Role, Education Authorities, Drop Out

Abstract

This research is proposed to quality a bachelor’s degree in sosiology. With the tittle “Change of Marriage Tradision in Kenegerian Kopah Kecamatan Kuantan Singingi District”. This research aims to know the proses of implementation of marriage tradision in Kenegerian Kopah, to know what elements are experiencing change, and to determine the factors that cause changes in the implementation of marriage in Kenegerian Kopah. This research uses qualitative analysis method, the subject of this research is determined by purposive sampling techniques and data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this research indicate that the social changes that occur in Kenegerian Kopah society is in the tradision of marriage. In the past the pratice of marriage was fully practiced by custom. But now more lead to more practical implementation. The proses of implementation of the marriage tradision in Kenegerian Kopah such as, fiance “ma ikek tando” determine the date before the wedding, marriage ceremony “ampokat”, and marriage receprions. Changing elements such as, introduction phase, way find a partner, marriage procedures, marriage receptions, marriage of one tribe. Some of the factors that cause change are, the change of society it self, the level of education, people who are more interest in practical marriage, the influence from outside and mixing culture, contact with other people, preparation before teh wedding.The key word : Change, Tradition, the Marriage

Abstract

Family empowerment and welfare (PKK) is the gesture of the communitydevelopment grows from under, its management from, by, and for community.PKK is one of by society movement who are active in Enok District and theirmembers the majority are woman. The community supports PKK Enok Districtbecause it aims to improve the quality of human resources related to theempowerment of society which will affect the welfare of life, especially the familywelfare. The formulation of the problem discussed in this research is socialcapital in the Family Empowerment and Welfare Team (TP PKK) Enok Districtand efforts to maintain and Family Empowerment and Welfare Team (TP PKK)Enok District. The subjects of this research are 6 people where the subject of thisresearch are active members in the Enok District Family Empowerment andWelfare Team (TP PKK). The technique of determining informant in this researchis by using purposive sampling technique. The method used is descriptivequalitative research method. The theory used is social capital theory put forwardby Putnam consisting of social network, norms social, and trust. The result of thestudy it can be concluded that social capital that it is extremely important in anorganization, social capital what is most evident on the team the driving force ofthe Family Empowerment and Welfare (TP PKK) Enok District promised tosupply the social networks and the weak thing that on the norms social. Abstract

One of beach tourist attractions in Bintan Regency is Trikora Beach, located in Malang Rapat Village, Gunung Kijang Sub-District, Bintan Regency. Trikora Beach has 4 sections which are Trikora 1, Trikora 2, Trikora 3, and Trikora 4. Trikora Beach 4 is one of beaches managed by The Government. Trikora Beach 4 was purchased in 2002 and was began preparations for constructing in 2004 managed by the Bintan Regency of Tourism Office. Trikora Beach 4 has the potential to be managed and developed. Trikora Beach 4 offers special attraction with calm waves and white sand. Due to the lack of funds which affects on the maintenance of facilities and infrastructure, causing Trikora Beach 4 is not optimally managed. The problem statement of this research is to find out why The Management of Trikora Beach 4 as A Tourist Attraction has not been optimally managed by Bintan Regency of Tourism Office, Riau Islands Province?This study aims to determine The Management of Trikora Beach 4 as A Tourist Attraction by Bintan Regency of Tourism Office 2016. This study used qualitative research with descriptive type of research. The information techniques used are interviews and documentation. Data analysis used is limited to data processing techniques or facts obtained by developing categories that are in accordance with the objectives of research and interpretation based on appropriate theories.The results showed that Trikora Beach 4 as tourist attraction is managed by Tourism Office and the employees are directly employed by Bintan Regency of Tourism Office. The Management of Trikora Beach 4 is not yet maximally managed, this could be seen from its planning, organizing, mobilizing, monitoring and evaluation.There are obstacles that make this area is not optimally managed, among others are the lack of funds that has an impact on the maintenance of facilities and infrastructure at the location of the tourist attraction, Technical Service Centre (UPT) is not yet established, non-optimal supervision by Bintan Regency of Tourism Office, and not having an Trikora Beach 4 Tourist Safety and Security Team.Keywords: Local Government, Management, Tourism

Abstract

The title of this research is the role of Government and Society in the Implementation of Cable TV in Pekanbaru City Year 2015-2016 Based on the discovery of the phenomenon that occurred in the field is still the Cable TV Company that is merely licensed Broadcasting Implementation (IPP) but have already quoted premiums paid to thousands of customers Pekanbaru like Hope Blooms Multi Vision and Vision, and the persistence of the Cable TV company that is operational is not taking care of broadcast licenses but has long operated the information found that although not currently have approval Cable TV company has been able to encompass thousands of customers in the city of Pekanbaru. The type used in this research is descriptive qualitative survey techniques. Data collection techniques used in this study was observational, a note of Field, documentation and interviews with informants research. Location of the research conducted at the Regional Office of the Indonesian Broadcasting Commission (Commission) Riau.Based on the results of the analysis of the research data in order to uncover and answer research questions related to the role of government and the public in the administration of cable TV in the city of Pekanbaru can be concluded that the Government is KPID have done their job well but KPID also can not work with members are strictly limited to certain areas reach areas, the government is in dire need of cooperation with the community in which the participation of the public in supervising companies that are not good or are not abiding by the rules that have been set.Keywords: Role of Government, Society, Implementation of Cable TV.

Abstract

Recently, the problem of prostitution in urban areas is crucial. The city government tends to displace the presence of PSK stricken suburbs or let prostitutes roam without permission localization. In Pekanbaru similar symptoms occur, localization exs teleju moved to Meridan, mostly prostitutes under the guise of massage parlors thrives in Nangka Sari Building in Pekanbaru protocol street, and semi-permanent tents on the roadside. Interesting research problems to be studied is why PSK, select survival of profession as commercial sex workers ?. The method used is qualitatively by taking 6 informants representing each of the three locations the informants to the study, that is Meridan, Payung Sekaki and Nangka Sari. Results and discussion in this study revealed that commercial sex workers (PSK) in Pekanbaru widowed women aged around 22-35 years. Less educated and come from families who can not afford. Most prostitutes in Pekanbaru ever worked with low income before finally plunging into the world of prostitution .. The majority of prostitutes in Pekanbaru practicing prostitution under the Mami as a patron with an average income of Rp 300,000 to Rp 1 million per night. Having a location wher e prostitution remains. PSK productive working days during the month is 30 days. Their time off only when menstruation and pain they are very health conscious and always use safety devices such as condoms strategies they are doing to attract customers is to exercise care and herbal drink. Adaptation they do so is either not choose select guests who come old and easy same. And the main factor that caused them to drift into prostitution this is due to economic factors and no job options . Abstract

Hot spring water bathing is one of the attraction in Kuantan Singingi Regency. This Study aims to determine the potential and inhibiting factors of the potential development of hot spring bathing attraction in the Sungai Pinang, Hulu Kuantan District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. This study uses descriptive quantitative methods. The sample in this study were 98 respondents, determining respondents with incidental sampling. Data collection techniquest used are observation, interview, questionnaire and documentation using the Likert scale as a measuring instrument. Based on the results of research, the potential development of hot water bathing attraction in Sungai Pinang, Hulu Kuantan Subdistrict, Kuantan Singingi Regency with sub-variabels of tourist attraction and attraction, tourism infrastructure, tourism facilities, infrastructure management and community and environment with a good research conclusionkeywords : Potential, Development, Attraction

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of service quality and brand trust on customer satisfaction in customers of Bank BNI Syariah funds product Pekanbaru Branch Office partially and simultaneously. This study uses questionnaires as a means of collecting data distributed to 100 customers of funds collecting products Bank BNI Syariah Pekanbaru Branch Office. Data from the questionnaire was further processed using descriptive analysis and statistical analysis using SPSS 17.0 by performing validity test, reliability test, simple linear regression analysis, multiple linear analysis, coefficient of determination analysis, and hypothesis test consisting of t test (partial) and F test (Simultaneous).The results showed that the results of the first hypothesis testing is service quality to customer satisfaction showed t count (5,436) > t table (1,984), it means service quality significantly influence customer satisfaction. The result of second hypothesis testing is brand trust to customer satisfaction show t count (7,143) > t table (1,984), it means brand trust have significant effect to customer satisfaction. The result of the third hypothesis testing, namely service quality and brand trust on customer satisfaction shows F count (26,610) > F table (3.09), it means service quality and brand trust have significant effect to customer satisfaction.Keywords: Service Quality, Brand Trust, Customer Satisfaction
