Abstract

This research is titled The Tradition of Safar Bathing in Teluk Pinang village, Gaung Anak Serka District, Indragiri Hilir Regency. Based on the history of the Safar Bathing Tradition in Teluk Pinang Village, it has been done for a long time since Teluk Pinang was first opened. The safar bathing which was done by the community of Teluk Pinang village was initially to keep danger away, because when the Teluk Pinang village was just opened, there was a lot of poison, disease and reinforcements. By the village opening initiative, a safar bath was held to ask Allah SWT for protection to avoid things that are not desirable. This study aims to describe the process of implementing the Mandi Safar Tradition, and to find out why the community of Teluk Pinang Village still maintains the tradition up to now. Researchers used a purposive sampling technique that included community leaders, religious leaders, village guards, confidants from village guards and the community of Teluk Pinang Kelurahan. To analyze the research data descriptive qualitative data collected then presented descriptively that is describing or telling the results of research with a description of logical sentences so that they can be understood and easily understood. This research was conducted in Teluk Pinang village, Gaung Anak Serka District, Indragiri Hilir Regency. The results of the research show that the Survival of the Safar Bathing Tradition is that it cannot be left out or lost. Even though today is modern, the existing traditions must be maintained and maintained. This safar bath is certainly a form of endeavor of the local community, to be protected by Allah SWT from bad things that can be seen from the writing of words taken from fragments of the Qur'an. Keywords: Process, Safar Bath, Tradition.

Abstract

The research present describe the policy of zakat managerial in Siak Regency in 2013-2014. Zakat as a islam basic of rules for every moslem that have to pay and to a people that cannot to complete their life. Zakat managerial are have managing by National Amil Zakat Agency Siak Regency that based on Regulation of District Number 6 in 2013 about the zakat managerial and period of 2013-2014 zakat managerial in Siak Regency has a positive trend and has increase of zakat nominal from payer of zakat.The research use the methode are qualitative methodes that analyze problem research by describe the subject and object conditions based on real fact. This research use location in Siak Regency and researcher collect data from books, government regulation, jurnal, mass media, website and deep interview with informan likes Head of National Amil Zakat Agency of Riau Province, National Amil Zakat Agency of Siak Regency and zakat payer in Siak Regency.The conclution of this research are policy of zakat managerial in Siak Regency have done by some steps from zakat socialization, create a collect zakat unit in every district in Siak Regency and some factors that cause are distribution of zakat, limit of human resources in National Amil Zakat Agency in Siak Regency, communication and coordination of staff National Amil Zakat, disposition of staff and controlling in zakat managerial by National Amil Zakat Nasional Agency in Siak Regency.Keywords: policy, manage, zakat.

Abstract

This essay was proposed to quality for a bachelor’s degree in Sociology. The title is,” Public Perception of E-KTP Service Tampan in Sub-District Office of Pekanbaru City”. The aim of this research to find out the public perception of E-KTP service in Tampan Sub-district Pekanbaru City and to find out the public characteristic who want to make E-KTP, and to find out how the public perception about the office clerk in Tampan Subdistrict of E-KTP service. The method of this research is perception and the idea is attendance and public. The location of this research in Tampan Sub-district, the population of this research every months was 245 people and the sample of this research was 20% or 49 people with random sampling. Data collection technique used observation, questionnaire and interview. The data are written in the table and are described quantitatively descriptively. The result of this research are in accordance with criteria interval values 3529-4704 categorized as good, and the conclusion of this research that the interval values of the calculation of all respondents answers includes good category, with the acquisition of 4104 divided by 5880 multiplied by 100% is 69,80%.Key Word : Perception, E-KTP Service

Abstract

The dynamics of village forest management is an institutional problem that occurs in the village forest management institutions of the Gunung Sahilan village which is one of the factors causing the village forest management to be poorly managed, the benefits of the village forest to the community economy to be one of the problems that occur here. Local wisdom is a custom that is still held by the forest where forest management is given to the ninik mamak group, while ninik mamak does not have the competence in managing the forest, transparency of forest management to the community is one of the dynamics that occurs due to the inadequate communication between the manager, the village government and the community These factors cause the village forest to not be useful for the community.Keywords: dynamics, conflict, institutional.

Abstract

Makan bajambau is eating together in one serving which has been generation to generationfrom previous ancesturs. Makan bajambau is a original tradition from Kampar regency.Makan bajambau tradition is usually by Kampar people especially in Salo Timur village onwedding ceremony, aqiqah, 7 day of ecease, another big days of Islam religion, andinauguration of Ninik Mamak and local functionary. Before start makan bajambau NinikMamak of ritual chief will open it with ritual present are doing by simondo people with NinikMamak who has come. In makan bajambau people usually use salver serving, strory saver andthree foot tray, while the food which sarve in this makan bajambau usually are meat, vegetable,fish, fresh vegetable and dadio dessert. Nowaday people more make variation the good on thatsarve. In this research, the researchers do researching abaout how to implemention of makanbajambau tradition. In this research, the researchers use functionalism theory and socialysystem theory, with many of respondent are many and people which are local functionary,Ninik Mamak, society figure, religious agure, and local government officials. The results ofthis study indicate that the implementation of the tradition makan bajambau still exist and stilldone by Kampar district community especially village Salo Timur, while the values in makanbajambau is the social value of society prioritizing togetherness and mutual mutilation and thevalue of adat gives priority the present generation in order to keep preserving and preservingthis tradition so as not to disappear in today’s modern era.Keywords: Tradition, Makan Bajambau, Value

Abstract

Indragiri Hulu has attractions that can be enjoyed by the community, in domestically and abroad. In this paper the author only discusses how Bujang and Dara in promoting tourism. The purpose of this study is to determine how Bujang and Dara in promoting tourism in Indragiri Hulu and to identify inhibiting factors Bujang and Dara in promoting tourism in Indragiri Hulu.This study uses the theory of Hamdani to know how sales promotion, public relations, and world of mouth (information by word of mouth). Type of this research is qualitative descriptive method by using purposive sampling technique. This method does not use population and sample, because if the data collected is already deep and explain the phenomenon under investigation, then no need to look for another sampling. While data collection techniques in this research is by using observation, interview and documentation.Based on the results of research and discussion it can be concluded that the Bujang and Dara in promoting tourism in Indragiri Hulu is still in the category has not been optimal. Less maximum budget spending and public ignorance of the contribution of each Bujang and Dara were selected, but it is still no clarity from the manager of that tourist attraction, however the period of position a Bujang and Dara too brief. Abstract

The Post is a historical-drama movie that tells story about journalism in USA in 1971. This movie got many positive response from the critics on big medias and succesfully depicted the confrontation between media and government which is based on true story. The Post are made as the critic for Donald Trump’s administration and showing the point of view of the press which is oppressed, that is why the journalists on this movie is depicted as professionals. The purpose of this research is to analyze how is journalist’s professionalism from elements of journalism represented in The Post. This research used qualitative descriptive methods using Teun A. Van Dijk discourse analysis which is known as Social Cognition Theory, with element of analysis on text level which include micro strucutre, macro structure, and supertructure. Van Dijk’s discourse analysis mainly focused on the text, which is suitable with The Post that represented the journalist professionalism by the dialogue in it. The subject on this research are 11 scenes from The Post movie, object on this research are dialogues in The Post movie. Data gathering technique used on this research are observation and documentation. Data checking are done by triangulation and using references to support this research. This research shows that The Post represented the journalist who have high professionalism. It is delivered through the characters that hold the value of professionalism, which in this research are viewed based on the perspective of elements of journalism. There are 8 elements out of 10 elements of journalism that is represented on The Post; journalism first obligation is to the truth, its first loyalty is to citizens, it essence is a discipline of verification, its practitioners must maintain an independence from those they cover, it must serve as an independent monitor of power, it must strive to make the significant insteresting and relevant, it must keep the news comprehensive and in proportion, its practitioners have an obligation to exercise their personal conscience. Aside from that, there are also 2 elements of journalism that are not represented on the movie; journalism must provide a forum for public criticism and compromise, and citizens, too, have rights and responsibilities when it comes to the news.  Key Word : Movie, The Post, Discourse Analysis, Journalism, Teun A. Abstract

All of freight transport in Dumai sometimes make result traffict jum, accident and road damage. And then, author lift this theme for make change, like make safety, comfort and dicipline in driving.In this theme, author use UKAS theory. Dumai transportasion agency and police unit as informant in this study. Author use descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques throught observation, interview with informant and documentation.The result of this study of freight transport in Dumai City signify. Result obtained average but author get kind of deviations as conducted from field supervisors and much drivers. Factors of deviations among human resorces, availabilities of founds and awareness of drivers. The all of factor very important to implementation of better transport control in Dumai City.Keywords: Monitoring, Freight Transport

Abstract

One of the tourism potentials that has begun to be sought after in Siak Regency is nature tourism based on agrotourism in Bungaraya District. However, in the effort to develop Agro Tourism by the Tourism Awareness Group in the District of Bungaraya there were several obstacles that caused the disruption of the development of attractions. The formulation of the problem in this study are (1) What is the role of the Siak Regency Government in developing the Tourism Awareness Group in the Agro Tourism Sector in Bungaraya District in Siak Regency in 2018? (2) what are the inhibiting factors in the effort to develop agrotourism in Bungaraya Subdistrict, Siak Regency in 2018? This research aims to (1) describe the role of the Regional Government of Siak Regency in the development of tourism objects in the Bungaraya District in Siak Regency in 2018, (2) describe the inhibiting factors in the development of tourism objects in the Bungaraya District in Siak Regency in 2018. This research is a research which uses a qualitative approach with the type of qualitative descriptive research. The location of this research was carried out in the Siak Regency Tourism Office and attractions in Bungaraya District. Data collection techniques performed were through interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used is an interactive analysis model. The results of the study concluded that the role of the Siak District Government in the development of Pokdarwis in the field of agro-tourism in the Bungaraya District of Siak Regency can be seen through its role as, motivator, facilitator, and dynamicator. In Agro-tourism development is still dominated by the role of Pokdarwis compared to the Regional government. The role of the Siak Regency Government in developing tourist objects in the Bungaraya District is influenced by internal factors such as budget constraints and inadequate human resources. While external factors such as the lack of public participation in the development of tourism objects and the low involvement of the private sector in the development of attractions. Keywords: Efforts, Tourism Development, Bungaraya Agro Tourism

Abstract

Work culture is a philosophy based on the view of life as values that become the nature, habits and driving forces, entrenched in the life of a group of society or organization. In 2015 the work culture has been set by the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia to become one of the guidelines of employees in carrying out their duties and responsibilities in work. Before the five work culture in the Office of the Ministry of Religious Pekanbaru city employees are still less discipline in work after the existence of these five cultural will facilitate employees in running duties and responsibilities as an employee. The purpose of this research is to know the application of the five values of work culture at the Hajj service at the Office of Religious Ministry of Pekanbaru city.Descriptive approach of qualitative method was used in this study. Research subjects are Section Head Hajj and Umrah operations, employees in Section Hajj and Umrah, Hajj Pilgrimage and Candidate Hajj pilgrims and pilgrims taking subject based on purposive methods. The object of research is the application of work culture. In Techniques collecting the data the researcher conducted interviews, observation and documentation.The results of this study indicate that the application of the five values of work culture seen in terms of communication down and up. Integrity, communications by conducting coaching to employees while communication to the problem in the service of Hajj. Professionalism, communication downstairs and providing good examples while communication upwards at the meeting. Innovation, communication below provides guidance and supervision while communication upwards requesting a proposal to superiors. Responsibility of communication down by giving the task of communication up to him giving a monthly job report. Exemplary, communications given the discipline in the form of discipline while communicating the issues of opinion in the service of Hajj. Communication barriers can be divided into two parts: technical barriers and human barriers. Technical barriers such as lack of existing facilities and infrastructure need support from superiors about the problems of facilities and pre-facilities. Human barriers are a factor in the prospective pilgrims and different pilgrims and employees should be responsible for serving pilgrims and pilgrims.
