Abstract

This study aims to find out how the application of the Balanced Scorecard to the Koperasi Petani Sawit (KOPSA) Usaha Maju Desa Mekar Jaya Kecamatan Kampar Kiri Tengah Kabupaten Kampar. The Balanced Scorecard is a tool used to measure the performance of the Koperasi Petani Sawit (KOPSA) Usaha Maju not only from the financial sector but also from the non-financial sector. The data used in this study are secondary data, namely in the form of financial reports and annual members meeting report of the Koperasi Petani Sawit (KOPSA) Usaha Maju Desa Mekar Jaya from 2013 to 2018.Data analysis used is using the Balanced analysis Scorecard with four Balanced Scorecard perspectives. The results of the Balanced Scorecard analysis on each of the four perspectives show that the financial perspective shows a pretty good performance even though the ratio calculation shows fluctuations. From the customer perspective the cooperative's performance in retaining members is quite good, because in the 2013-2018 period no members left the cooperative membership list. The internal business process perspective shows good performance because the credit realization process can run efficiently and in 2017 the Koperasi Petani Sawit (KOPSA) Usaha Maju can establish a new business units. And on the perspective of growth and learning performance is considered quite good, seen from employee retention there are no employees who leave and on employee productivity employees still show productive. Then the results of a comprehensive analysis of the perspective of the performance of the Koperasi Petani Sawit (KOPSA) Usaha Maju Desa Mekar Jaya approved quite well.  Keywords: Performance Appraisal, Balanced Scorecard, Cooperatives

Abstract

This research was conducted at Store Azwa Perfume Pekanbaru which is located at Tenku Umar Street No 79, Rintis, LimaPuluh Kota Pekanbaru. The purpose of this research is to find out Store Image and Store Theatrics to purchase intention at Toko Azwa Perfume Pekanbaru. Store Image and Store Theatrics (X1X2) as independent variables while purchase intention as dependent variable (Y). The problem in this research is not reaching the target in 2013. The samples are taken from 100 respondents and the technique used is Accidental Sampling then tested using SPSS statistics.Hypothesis testing using simple linear analysis method and multiple linear anaisis. From the results of tests conducted show that store image and theatrics store have a positive and significant impact on purchase intention at Azwa Perfume Store Pekanbaru. With R2 value of 0.619. This shows that store image and theatrics store give effect of 61,9% to purchase intention at Store Azwa Perfume Pekanbaru, while the rest 38,1% influenced by other variable that are not examined in this research.Keywords : Store Image, Store Theatrics and Purchase Intention

Abstract

Since the independece of Papua New Guinea in 1975, the border is more or less 780 km between Papua New Guinea and Indonesia (Papua Province) has become suspicion embrio between the both states involved the border issue. Indonesian has implemented the efforts of diplomacy and intimidation to prevent Papua New Guinea to become the protection place of border crossing for the separatist group, such Independent Papua Organization. Besides that, there are still many lawsuits that are caused by the weak management and law inforcement in the area of the both states.The perspective is Centripental Democratic Governance because the decentralization doesn’t give the advantage forever. The teory in this research is decision making and written by Richard Snyder. The level analysis is nation state and written by Charles W Kegley Jr dan Eugene R Wittkopf. The data is obtained through primary data and secunder data such as, book, journal, magazine, newspaper and website.This study aims to find out how the government of Indonesia acts significant in managing the border area in making Badan Nasional Pengelola Perbatasan (BNPP). Abstract

This paper aims to analyze cultural diplomacy that explains Indonesia’s participation in the Europalia festival in Belgium. Cultural diplomacy is a category of soft diplomacy in the implementation of a country’s foreign policy. Cultural instruments used by Indonesia in the implementation of diplomacy through Europalia can refclet the identity of the Indonesian state namely Bhineka Tunggal Ika.This study uses constructivist perspectives by Alexander Wendt, the analysis unit of the nation state and uses the theory of diplomacy by S.L Roy, and supported by the concept of multitrack diplomacy by Louise Diamond and John W McDonald's uses track 1 (Government), track 2 (Actor non-government) and track 9 (Media). And then the concept of cultural diplomacy by Tulus Warsito dan Wahyuni Kartikasari.The research shows that the Indonesian Europalia festival stole the attention of many Belgian and European citizens. Seen from the number of visitors or viewers who reached thousands of people at the festival. Increased knowledge and interest in Indonesian culture can attract Belgian citizens to visit Indonesia. Indonesian cultural diplomacy at the Europalia festival cam convey cultural values well. So that the cooperative relationship between Indonesia and Belgium can continue to increase. Abstract

Green open space (RTH) in Kuantan Singingi managed by the local government through the Office of Market, Hygiene and in 2014 an area of 112.26 hectares with trees that have been planted 8.720 (average rat 78 trees per ha) situated in Taluk Kuantan as its capital. This study aims to identify and explain as well as factors that affect the capability of the government of Regency Kuantan Singingi in the Management of green open space (RTH) Year 2011-2015.This study uses qualitative research methods with descriptive research, which can be interpreted as a problem-solving process was investigated by describing the state of the research subjects were based on the facts that appear during the study were then followed by the popularity of existing theories.Based on the results of the study found the spread of green open space (RTH) is generally uneven. There is still a lack of green open space (RTH) in Kuantan Singingi the area of 122 ha, but local authorities are already working to make the creation of decent and green space as needed. The problem of budget constraints, human resources, infrastructure constraint Singingi Kuantan district government in the management of RTH maximum.Keywords: Capability, Management, Local Government

Abstract

Therapeutic Communication as one of the scientific study of communication,especially health communication, in the process of treatment and recovery patients, in thiscase involved the nurses with leprosy patient. This study examines the practice of the nurse’stherapeutic communication will influence the patient to get the better mental condition. Theaim of this research is to determine the therapeutic’s phases and attitude of therapeuticcommunication by the nurse’s with leprosy patients at Bagansiapiapi Leprosy Home.The research was conducted at Bagansiapiapi Leprosy Home of Rokan Hilir locatedin Bintang Ujung Street. This study took place from August to October 2016. The methodused in this study is qualitative study. Research subject determined by the method ofpurposive, and data were collected by means observation, interview, and documentation.Results of this research showed that the correct implementation of therapeuticcommunication phases play a role in the recovery of leprosy patient, consisting ofpreparation/pre-interaction phases which the nurse’s prepare before doing nursing,introduction phases to gain the attention and trust patients who conducted approach, phasesof work that allows to change the patient's behavior for the better by providing appropriatetreatment, an the termination phases when treatment and recovery has been completed. Whilethe attitude of therapeutic communication that conducted nurses with leprosy patients amongothers, by the attitude of presenting themselves by taking a position sitting opposite, usingtouch, observe and maintain eye contact, leans toward the patient when speaking, openness,and remain relaxed in response to the patients.

Abstract

This research was conducted at Hotel Dyan Graha Pekanbaru, as for the purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the marketing mix and service quality to customer loyalty (study at Hotel Dyan Graha Pekanbaru). Marketing mix and service quality as the independent variable (X1X2 while the customer loyalty as the dependent variable (Y).The problem in this research is the sale of room service of Hotel Dyan Graha Pekanbaru fluctuated and tended to decline each year, does not even reach the sales target. Seen from the presentation realization penjulan services of a hotel room in the last 4 years. The research sample was taken of 100 respondents of the population was calculated using the Slovin formula. The data was getting from the questionnaire and subsequently processed to then be tested with statistics through SPSS.From the test results which shows that the marketing mix and service quality have a positive and significant impact on customer loyalty (study at Hotel Dyan Graha Pekanbaru).Key words: marketing mix, Service Quality and Customer loyalty

Abstract

Sijori Resort & SPA Batam in determining the recruitment process of employees are more concerned with the knowledge and skills of applicants compared to the education is owned by the applicants, so that they get prospective qualified workers. Because Sijori Resort & SPA Batam is four star resort, so that housekeeping staff must have a knowledge and skill in cleaning and makeup room, these skills are needed to get a competent and professional housekeeping staff compared another hotels in Batam. The purpose of this research is to know how Sijori Resort & SPA Batam on determining of recruitment process of housekeeping staff and the problems happen when the recruitment is processed, and effort the problem solve when do the recruitment process. This research use qualitative methods with descriptive approach. and the indicators are basic of recruitment, source of recruitment, methods of recruitment, and the obstacles of recruitment. Data is obtain form deep interview with human resources manager and housekeeping supervisor, other than that equipped amplifier data with the checklist form for housekeeping staff, direct observation and documentation. Then data that has been obtained, is analyzed using three steps: reduction data, display data and verification. The result of this research is shows that Sijori Resort & SPA Batam doing recruitment process has apply some criteria from the indicator that has been specified based on the results of the respondent's answers.   Key Words: Recruitment, Housekeeping Department, Sijori Resort & SPA Batam

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of product quality and price on customer loyalty at PT. HPP (Herbal Penawar Alwahida Indonesia) Pekanbaru Branch. The type of research used is Accedental Sampling, ie anyone who accidentally meets with the researcher can be used as a sample, and determining the number of samples used the Slovin formula. The number of samples used in this study were 100 respondents who had made a purchase of PT.HPAI (Herbal Penawar Alwahida Indonesia) Pekanbaru Branch. By using data collection techniques using questionnaires and interviews. Data analysis methods used were validity test, reliability test, correlation coefficient (R), regression test, coefficient of determination (R2), significance of t test and F test. The results of this study showed that the product quality and price variables each had an influence significant, strong enough and positive to customer loyalty. Two variables have been tested in stages and together show the results that the variables of product quality and price simultaneously have a strong enough relationship to the variable customer loyalty. The amount of contribution owned by the product quality variable is greater than the magnitude of the contribution owned by the price, the coefficient of determination (R²) for the product quality variable is 38.7% and the price is 37.9%. Suggestions that can be taken regarding product prices, PT. HPAI adjusts to the prices of similar products circulating in the market and the difference between agent prices and consumer prices should not be too large. Abstract

The mass media is very instrumental in the development or even changes in behavior pattrns of the public. According to S-R theory, the mass media has a direct, immediate and direct effect on the communicant. One of the mass communication media is television, compared to other mass media television has a special characteristic that is a combination of image and listening media that are informative, entertainment, and education. The purpose of the study was to determine how much influence the broadcast of Sibak A1 Padang TV on the legal knowledge of the people of Koto Tangah District.This research uses quantitative research methods, with data collection techniques, namely trough the distribution of questionnaires with the type of closed questionnaire. The data analysis technique used in this study is Simple Linear Regression Analysus. The number of respondents is 166 people determined trough simple random sampling technique, using the formula unknown population.The results of this study indicate that the magnitude of the influence of the Sibak A1 Padang TV show on the community's legal knowledge of Koto Tangah District is quite strong. This can be seen from the summary model table showing that the coefficient of determination (R2 ) obtained was 0.637 and the coefficient of determination (Rsqure) was 0.406. this figure shows the understanding that the influence of exposure to Sibak A1 Padang TV on the legal knowledge of the Koto Tangah District Community is 40.6 % with a moderate or quite strong category. While the remaining 59.4 % was influenced by other variables not included in this study.
