Abstract

The administration of village governance is inseparable from the organization of good coordination between village officials. Village goverment is the leading in service to the community and a strategic spearhead for the success of all programs. Therefore, efforts to strengthen villages are a step to accelerate the realization of people’s welfare as regional autonomy. So that the administration of village governance is a sub system of governance, so that the village has the authority to regulate and manage the interest of it people. The purpose of this research is to find out how the coordination carried out by the village and village empowerment agency Kampar regency in solving the problem of village governance and what factors are the obstacles. As for the theory used in this study is coordination by Koonz, O’Donnel and Fayol, namely cooperation, division of tasks, communication, meeting meetings. This study uses qualitative research, with a phenomenological approach obtained through interviews, observations and documentation. The result of this study indicate that, firstly the coordination in solving the problem of the implementation of village government as whole has not run optimally. Both in cooperatif, division of tasks, communication and in meetings there are still obstacles encountered. The two factors which become obstacles in coordinating the resolution of the problem of village governace are limited human resources and budget constraints.Keywords: Coordination, Organiation and village government

Abstract

Achievements can be achieved because of the role of a teacher. Students will find it difficult to attain achievement in the absence of a teacher who nurtures, teaches and improves the student's abilities. From the established communication can also be known hobbies and interests and talents of students / I so that even academic tutors can have a solution to channel the student / hobby so as to improve student achievement. This research was conducted to know the interpersonal communication of academic tutors in improving achievement in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Pekanbaru. The result of the research shows that the interpersonal communication done by the teacher and the students run well. Openness done between teacher and student resulted in the exchange of information so that found learning method according to student character. The empathetic attitude done by the teacher in the form of verbal speech and non verbal action. Supportive attitudes performed between teachers and students include motivating students and praising the results of what they do. Positive behavior is done between teachers and students by always thinking positive when there is a problem with students. The attitude of equality between teachers and students by way of teachers behave as if people who are not too smart so that students do not feel inferior when being in communication with the teacher. Interpersonal communication that is done by academic supervisor teacher give positive impact that is increase of student achievement in MAN 1 Pekanbaru.Keywords: Achievement, Teachers, Students, Schools, Interpersonal Communication

Abstract

The strategy management of historical tourist attraction development of Tuanku Tambusai Fortis important to be done because the tourist attraction of Tuanku Tambusai Fort possesses highhistorical value. Nevertheless, the conduction of strategy management of historical touristattraction development of Tuanku Tambusai Fort was still not optimally done. The concepttheory used in this research was the management strategy by Fred R. David (2011), byimplementing the indicator organizing, motivation, and staff replacement and factors influencedthe strategy management of tourist attraction development of Tuanku Tambusai Fort. This is aqualittive research with descriptive method. The technique of collecting data was conductedthrough interview, documentation, and observation. By using key informan as informationresourch and by using triangulation technique as a sourch of data validation. The researchfinding of this, the strategy management of historical tourist attraction development of TuankuTambusai Fort by Department of Tourism and Culture Rokan Hulu District was not optimal yet.This was suitable with the indicator implementation of strategy management that includesorganizers, motivation, staf replacement and factors affecting strategy management; they areresource, coordination, people participation, and unclear status of authority.Keywords: Strategy Management, Development, History Tourist Attraction

Abstract

Lifestyle are parents that distinguish between the actions of the others, Which is expressed in the activities, interests, and his opinions. Describes the overall lifestyle of a person in interacting with the environment. So that each individual will have their lifestyle. There is a positive lifestyle and negative lifestyle. Lifestyle visitor MP club included negative lifestyle. This study aims to give visitor an idea of how the characteristics of the MP club Pekabaru and how lifestyle visitor MP club Pekanbaru. This study uses the theory of lifestyle and social aberrations with books on lifestyle and social deviation. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. To know the results of the study, we used observation, interview, and documentation. As for the method of taking the subject of research by accidental sampling technique, wich is based on chance or anyone who met at the hall of the pub. Being the result is that all the informants in this research activity clubbing with pattersns in defiance of social norms that form a hedonistic lifestyle.Keywords: Characteristics, lifestyle, social deviation

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of good corporate governance and firm size on firm value on food and beverage companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The ratio of good corporate governance that is used as the independent variable is managerial ownership, institutional ownership, board of directors, independent board and audit committee. The ratio of the size of the company is used as the independent variable is the natural logarithm of total assets (Ln Total asset). While used as the dependent variable was measured with the company's price-book value (PBV) listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The method used to observe the effect of good corporate governance and company size on the value of the company is by using multiple linear regression. The data used in this research is secondary data, financial statements and annual report annual report. The data listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for 5 years from the period 2010 to 2014. Sampling was done by purposive sampling, used was 6 companies. Data analysis using multiple linear regression analysis, t-test, f and the coefficient of determination test. Data analysis using multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS 21. The analysis showed that the variable good corporate governance influence significantly affect the value of food and beverage companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. While the variable size of the company does not significantly affect the value of food and beverage companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. Simultaneous research results showed no significant effect of the variable good corporate governance and company size on the value of food and beverage companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).Keywords : good corporate governance, firm size, the value of the company

Abstract

Initial open, Re Caffe Platinum visitors around 1560 visitors per year, this is due to the introduction of the new audience but with enough introductions it has made a good income for the early stage. As the process of introducing Re Caffe Platinum gets more visitors, after entering the next year the Cafe visitor reaches 1,752 visitors, much higher than the number of visitors the previous year. This is a success for Re Caffe Platinum. In the third year since the founding of Re Caffe Platinum there was a drop in visitor numbers of as many as 1,488 visitors. In 2014 the decline was due to the competition with similar cafes reaching 1,428 visitors.This research uses descriptive qualitative research method that is data collection technique done by observation, interview, and documentation. Sample intake for informants using purposive sampling technique. Using the data validity checking technique through extension of participation and triangulation. The subject of this study was 6 (six). Validation of data validity by extension of participation and triangulation.The result of this research shows that strategy of Re Caffe Platinum Pekanbaru in improving customer is using Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) strategy. Integrated Marketing Communication Strategy (IMC) is Advertaising, Sales Promotion, public relations, sponsorship, Packaging, social media and web sites. The IMC strategy is able to contribute to the customer to remain loyal to Re CaffePlatinum. Meanwhile, Re Caffe Platinum Pekanbaru is facing an obstacle in implementing Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) strategy.Keywords: integrated marketing communication strategy, customer

Abstract

Indonesian nationalism is now a nationalist stance in the independence is no longer the attitude of nationalism and anti-colonialism. The values of nationalism today are conveyed through the medium of film, because the film is a cinematographic work which can serve as a means of cultural education or cultural education.            This study uses qualitative research methods to the analysis of semiotics John Fiske. The subjects were movie Battle Of Surabaya. Data obtained by the method of observation and documentation. Unit data analysis were selected based on a scene that has a sign of nationalism as much as 15 scene. Mechanical examination of the validity of data using using triangulation.            The results of this study indicate the representation of nationalism in the film Battle Of Surabaya there is a message, meaning and values of nationalism for the Indonesian people, especially for the younger generation of Indonesia. Message and meaning of nationalism among others is the love of the people of Indonesia, Solidarity humanity as a nation of culture of mutual respect and cooperation between the people of Indonesia, willing bekorban have loyalty to the nation and the State by paying attention to the public interest .. This film can be used as a lesson for us to be able to interpret more nationalism is needed this nation. Keyword: representation, nationalism,  film Battle of Surabaya.

Abstract

             This research explains the cause of U.S. foreign policy changes to Cuba during the reign of Donald Trump in 2017-2019.  U.S. foreign policy against Cuba during the reign of Donald Trump is deemed to have made the U.S.-Cuba relationship worse. This is because U.S. foreign policy against Cuba during the Obama administration will be revamped by Donald Trump.            This research used Behavioralis perspective with the concept of national importance of Behavioralis's view. The theory used in this reaseacrh  was foreign policy theory according to Rosenau with the level of analysis of the group's policy-making. This research uses qualitative methods with data collection techniques done by collecting data in the form of written text in Journal, Books, official websites, media, as well as interviews to test research documents.            The result of this study was the change of foreign policy of the United States against Cuba in the form of Donald Trump's personality that was in-consistent and the environmental influence of the political group. U.S. foreign policy changes to Cuba during the reign of Donald Trump are trade restrictions, people-to-people travelers, and transactions. Furthermore the policy also reduced the US embassy staff in Havana and the Cuban embassy staff in Washington.

Abstract

The work of literature can be interpreted as prose narrative that isimaginative. As a media, novel is one of the work of literature that can be used todeliver a message or value from a work. The moral value who is delivered by thewriter in a fiction work is certainly so beneficial and useful. One of the famouswriter in this country is Tere liye with the variety of his best seller novel, such asnovel Pulang which has an increasing in ordering printed edition untill two dozentimes since it is published on September 2015 untill January 2016. This is whatmake the author want to know “The Moral Value inThe Novel Pulang by TereLiye”.The method of this reasearch is qualitative which use narrative analysisVladimir Propp and Tzvetan Todorov. The subject of this research is novelPulang by Tere Liye. This research is focused on the problem which regard withanalysis of the moral value. The way of collecting the data is done by thetechnique of documentation and the library study. After collecting the data,Analysis from this research method will be done to get the result.The result of this research will show the moral value that is gotten by thecharacters and the plot of the story, there are some categories of moral valuewhich cover the moral message in the human relationship with God and acceptthe destiny, that all happened cannot be changed. As a human, it just can choosefor receiving or rising and trying to come forward. In a human relationship withhimself on loyality to family, the principle and commitment which makes theestablishment of a service to something. Abstract

Cases of violence against children that occur indicate the need for comprehensive treatment. Comprehensive handling will then be arranged by the authorized government. The purpose of this study is to see the Bestuurs Plan for the Office of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection in the city of Pekanbaru in the protection of children in 2018. And to find out what are the obstacles of the Office of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection in preparing plans that have been designed in 2018. This study uses qualitative methods with descriptive analysis case study. Data collection techniques uses interviews as primary data and literature study as secondary data.The theoretical concept used by researchers is the Bestuurs Plan which has indicators in the four basic stages of planning, namely, setting goals or a series of objectives, formulating the current situation, identifying all facilities and obstacles, compiling steps to achieve goals. This research uses qualitative research methods, with descriptive data review. In collecting data, researchers used interview techniques, and documentation.The results of this study indicate that, planning for the Office of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection of Pekanbaru City in child protection in 2018 had not been optimal. This can be seen from the realization of the budget for conducting programs to protect children that are still lacking from the established budget plan. In addition, regulatory and institutional barriers to child protection become an obstacle for the preparation of planning for child protection for the Pekanbaru City Women's Empowerment and Child Protection Agency.
