Abstract

Information that contains conflict value is information with high news value. The press in covering conflict news needs to pay attention to its packaging so it does not get bigger but, instead, it results in conflict resolution. Likewise, the conflict in Pekanbaru related to the rejection of the arrival of Neno Warisman to declare hashtag # 2019GantiPresiden had made a commotion before the 2019 Election. News about the conflict between the pros and cons of this activity, became the main focus for the local Riau media, in particular, GoRiau.com. This research wants to see the packaging of conflict news experienced by Neno Warisman with the concept of peaceful journalism. The concept of peaceful journalism will be seen in line with the theory used, namely, the theory of social responsibility.This research uses a quantitative method with a content analysis approach. The research subject used was the news narration of Neno Warisman's rejection in online media GoRiau.com which was published on 25 to 27 August 2018 in a total of 16 news. This study uses codification (coding) to get the results of research with two coders.Based on the results of the study, news of Neno Warisman's rejection on GoRiau.com applied 53.12% peace orientation, 89.06% truth orientation, 60.94% community orientation and 34.48% problem-solving orientation with a percentage of peace journalism as 57.5%. However, media GoRiau.com needs to pay attention to the application of conflict news conflict orientation solutions, especially for indicators of improvement efforts. Because it was found that this media did not provide information in efforts to remedy the conflict. Regarding social responsibility theory, it was found that media GoRiau.com applied this theory, as seen in the application of news, it presented news in an actual way, informed based on facts, and was transparent in reporting on this conflict. Abstract

Based on the duties and functions of the Transmigration and Manpower Office of Siak Regency, which regulates the implementation of the Siak Regency Regulation No. 11/2001 concerning the Placement of Local Workers, the limited use of local labor in companies located in Siak Regency is one of the problems faced in this research, where apart from these problems, the process of empowerment and the quality of Human Resources (HR) limited local workforce becomes one of the problems that become the authority or responsibility of the Transmigration and Manpower Office of Siak Regency, the purpose of this study is to determine the extent where is the role of the Transmigration and Manpower Office in empowering local workers in Siak Regency, as well as to find out what constraints are the inhibiting factors experienced by the Transmigration and Manpower Office in carrying out this role. The use of theoretical concepts in this research is to use the principles of Modern Organizational Principles, this study uses qualitative research types with descriptive studies, in data collection techniques used interviews and observation. The author uses the informant as information as the main source in the validity of the data. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the empowerment has not been running optimally, this is because the process of implementing empowerment has not been carried out seriously, starting from the process of implementing competency-based training where the activities are not socialized so many workers local workers who are not aware of the program, the implementation of the Siak Job Fair which is also lacking in socialization and many workers from outside the Siak area who participated in the program, the enforcement of local regulations on empowering local workers that has not been carried out properly by the Siak Regency Government The inhibiting factors in this research are the lack of budget in carrying out the program and the lack of cooperation between the company and the Transmigration and Manpower Office of Siak Regency. Keywords: Role, Empowerment of Local Workers, Transmigration Office and Manpower.

Abstract

The development of the industrial sector also has a negative impact. The importance of supervision of oil palm companies is carried out to protect the environment so that it is free from pollution that can be detrimental. Environmental pollution carried out by PT.Balam Sawit Sejahtera that occurred in the area of Rokan Hilir Regency certainly shows that the effectiveness of supervision in the Rokan Hilir District Environmental Office has not been maximized. The purpose of this research is to see how the supervision of environmental pollution by the Environmental office of Rokan Hilir District (case study PT. Balam Sawit Sejahtera) and any factors that become a barrier to the supervision of pollution by the Environment Office of Rokan Hilir District. This research was conducted in Pekanbaru City using qualitative descriptive methods, data collected through observation and interviews.. The theory used in this study is Sukanto's theory in which a good oversight step is to determine the standards of supervision, conduct research into surveillance objects, and perform corrective or sanctions actions against breach of provisions. The results of this study indicate that pollution control by the Rokan Hilir District Environmental Agency is not optimal, the lack of time standards in conducting direct supervision to the field is considered ineffective and also inhibiting factors in environmental pollution monitoring conducted by the Rokan Regency Environmental Agency Downstream is in terms of experts the number of supervisors, equipment assignments and operational costs..  Keywords : Supervision, Environmental Pollution, Environmental Agency

Abstract

Tiga Naga Football Academy and Soccer School Pekanbaru is a football school (SSB). This soccer school has facilities in the form of a residence for students who go to school, a field for soccer practice, a gym and an office. Tiga Naga Trainer is A-AFC and B-AFC certified. Tiga Naga has recorded many achievements and champions. The purpose of this study was to determine the instructional communication of coach in developing football students Tiga Naga Football Academy and Soccer School Pekanbaru which can be seen from methods, messages, media and obstacles during the fostering process used by coaches.This research method uses descriptive qualitative method. The subjects of this study were the owner, manager, coach and students of football students Tiga Naga Football Academy and Soccer School Pekanbaru. While the object of the instructional communication of coach in developing football students Tiga Naga Football Academy and Soccer School Pekanbaru. Data collection techniques used were interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques using an interactive data analysis model. In achieving data validity in this study, the authors used an extension of participation and triangulation.The results showed that instructional communication by the trainer used programmed instructional methods, simulation methods, training methods, and discussion methods. Instructional communication messages in the form of persuasive messages and informative messages. To support instructional communication so that it runs smoothly, media in training is needed. The media used by the coaches are visual media such as balls, goalposts, strategy boards, cone bowls, cone cones, training marker post, soccer wall, soccer adjustable hurdles, training hurdle, speed agility ladder and audio-visual media that is using video of the results of matches, laptops and infocus. Meanwhile, instructional communication barriers that occur in the form of psychological and physical barriers.Keywords :Instruksional Comunication, coach, soccer school.

Abstract

Along with the times, many Hotels in Indonesia are popping up to improve their skills, one of them in Pekanbaru city is the Novotel Hotel which is an international standard Hotel. The Novotel Hotel Pekanbaru is still considered lacking in the skills of its employees due to complaints from guest regarding it Receptionist skills. Therefore, the authors are interested in bringing up thr study entitled Receptionist skills at the Novotel Hotel Pekanbaru city. This study aims to determine how the response of guests staying at the Novotel Hotel Pekanbaru to Receptionist skills at the Novotel Hotel. This research was conducted at the Novotel Hotel on Jalan Riau No. 59 Pekanbaru. This research was carried out for 6 months, starting from September 2019 until March 202. This research uses quantitative descriptive methods. Data collection techniques using observation, documentation and questionnaires. The sampling technique was determined using accidental sampling technique. The sample of this study was guest staying at the Novotel Hotel Pekanbaru. The result of this study indicate that overall the respondents gave a good response to the Receptionist skill at the Novotel Hotel Pekanbaru city, this is evidenced by the result of the score of the guest responses that stayed with good grades, in additional Receptionist is an employee who will give first and last impressions as well direct contact with guest. Keywords: Skills, Receptionist and Hotel.

Abstract

The Pekanbaru City Youth and Sports Agency has the responsibility to provide guidance and youth training as a form of youth empowerment. It is stated in Government Regulation Number 41 of 2011 concerning Development of Youth Entrepreneurship and Leadership, and Provision of Youth Infrastructure and Facilities. The phenomenon in this study are the low guidance and empowerment of youth, inadequate budget and minimal facilities and infrastructure. The purpose of this study is to determine the performance and factors that hamper the performance of the Department of Youth and Sports of the City of Pekanbaru in Youth Development. This research used descriptive qualitative method, data collected through observation and interviews. This research was conducted using the theory of performance by Mahsun, which consists of inputs, processes, outputs, results, benefits and impacts. The conclusions of this study are the performance of the Department of Youth and Sports in the Youth Development Sector has not been running optimally. This is indicated by the lack of budget needed, then the low development and empowerment of youth and the lack of youth facilities and infrastructure. Keywords: Performance, Youth, Sports

Abstract

This research is motivated by the large number of hoarding rubbish around the Capital District and several subdistricts in Kuantan Singingi Regency. The rubbish control in Kuantan Singingi Regency has not been carried out well as evidenced by the non-functioning of several rubbish control sites both TPST or TPS3R. Marginally, the activities in rubbish control are the rubbish accumulation control, the rubbish aggregration, transfer and transportation, processing and final disposal. The rubbish control is grouped into two stages, namely rubbish reduction and rubbish andling with each stage.       The location of this research was carried out at the Kuantan Singingi District Environmental Agency. This research is aimed to describe how the management of rubbish at Kuantan Singingi Regency in 2018. The research method used in this study is a qualitative approach, which in theory the researcher tries to explain the stages activities of government management start from planning, organizing, management programs to coaching and supervision activities carried out by the Kuantan Singingi government especially for environmental agency in rubbish control in 2018 so that it can be seen how the government manage a rubbish matters. Data collection techniques in this study used interview techniques and relevant documentation.               The results of the study were found in the field that government management in rubbish control in 2018 has not been implemented optimally due to several factors. From internal problem of government such as the lack of infrastructure management facilities and the lack of budget. And then from external problem of government such as low levels of community participation in overcoming this problem. so that the management activities carried out by the Kuantan Singingi Regency government cannot be done as well as possible.  Keywords : Planning, Organizing, Program Management, Guidance and Supervision.

Abstract

This research aimed to determine how much the motive to watch programme Berita Islami Masa Kini Trans Tv against satisfaction on Annur Great Mosque Pilgrims at Pekanbaru and to determine which motif that take bigger influence against satisfaction of watching on Annur Great Mosque at Pekanbaru.The methods of this research is using quantitative methods with descriptive explanation. Data collection technique using questionnaire with 100 respondent. Researcher use a simple regression analysis to determine how much influence between the two variables.The result shown that the motive of watching programme Berita Islami Masa Kini Trans Tv is appreciable against satisfaction of watching that obtained by Annur Great Mosque Pilgrims. And the motive that take bigger influence against satisfaction of watching is the information motive, which percentage for this category about 56% at all.Keyword : motive of watching, television programme, satisfaction of watching

Abstract

This study aims to partially and simultaneously examine the effect of institutional ownership, debt policy, and company size on firm value. Where the independent variables in this study are institutional ownership, debt policy, and company size while the dependent variable is the value of the company. The sample used is secondary data derived from the financial statements of chemical sub-sector manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) for the period 2011 to 2015. This study uses secondary data from the company's financial statements. Samples and sampling using purposive sampling techniques. Data analysis using multiple linear regression analysis, t test, F test, and the coefficient of determination test. Data analysis uses multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that the variable institutional ownership, partial debt policy (t test) does not affect the value of the company while the size of the company partially influences the value of the company in manufacturing companies in the chemical subsector which are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Simultaneous test results (F) indicate the influence of institutional ownership variables, debt policy, and company size on the value of the company in chemical sub-sector manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Key Words : institutional ownership, debt policy, company size, and company value

Abstract

In the service needs needed in tourism business not only displays quality, cuisine and comfort, however, the important factor is comfort and guarantees that are suitable for the purpose of people enjoying tha facility. Personal hygine is an individual effort to take care of one’s own health, apprearance and environment This research purpose to determine the application of personal hygiene in the cook kitchen at labersa grand hotel and convention center which is located on Jalan labersa, parit indah, pekanbaru.This research uses a qualitative methods with a descriptive approach in which the data obtained are analyzed based on the ability of the investigator's reasoning in connecting information, facts and data by presenting observations, interviews and analyzing problems found in the field, so that a clear picture of the object under research can be obtained and can be draw clear conclusions. The results of this indicate the application of  personal hygiene in cook at the kitchen labersa grand hotel and convention center is an not accordance with existing operational standard procedures  Keywords : Personal Hygiene, Cook, Kitchen, Hotel
