Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of work safety health (K3) partially and simultaneously.  This study uses a questionnaire as a tool for collecting data distributed to 60 respondents to the workers for the production of PT Aneka Inti Persada Teluk Siak.  The data is then processed using descriptive analysis and statistical analysis using SPSS 16.0 by conducting validity test, reliability test, simple linear regression analysis, multiple linear analysis, analysis determination (R2) and hypothesis testing by testing t test (partial) and F test  (simultaneous) .The results showed that the first hypothesis testing was work environment on work productivity  tcount (13,269) > ttable (2,320), meaning that the working environment has a significant effect on work productivity.  Second,  work safety health (K3) is tcount (10,481) > ttable  (2,663), meaning that the work environment has a significant effect on work productivity. The results of the Fcount (149,556) > Ftable (3,169), meaning that work environment and work safety health (K3) have a significant effect on work productivity.  Keywords: Work Environment,  Work Safety Health (K3), Work Productivity

Abstract

Development of Social Rehabilitation in Pekanbaru City for neglected adolescents carried out by the Social Service and Funeral City of Pekanbaru. This is the implementation of Social Rehabilitation by providing guidance and training to Juvenile Delinquency. Where coaching and training activities include religious guidance, providing skills training. The implementation of fostering social rehabilitation carried out by the Social Service and Funeral of Pekanbaru City includes Giving direction, Giving guidance, Supervising, Providing education and training.This study aims to determine the Development of Social Rehabilitation and Cemeteries in Pekanbaru City in 2016 and determine the factors of obstacles in the implementation of Social Rehabilitation and Funerals in Pekanbaru City in 2016. The research method used is using qualitative methods. This method aims to get a true picture of the development of social rehabilitation in the city of Pekanbaru in 2016. The method used in interviews and documentation of the data obtained is analyzed carefully.The results of research on the implementation of Social Rehabilitation in Pekanbaru City in 2016 against juvenile delinquency have not been carried out to the maximum through religious coaching activities and skills training. training coaching activities that have not yet provided the attainment of adolescent abilities in the knowledge of the given training field.The conclusion that the Development of Social Rehabilitation in Pekanbaru City against juvenile delinquency carried out by the Social Service and Funeral of the City of Pekanbaru is not well implemented. Suggestions in this study are the need for the provision of infrastructure facilities in support of coaching and training activities, the need to increase the number of employees in conducting coaching and training and to increase the time of coaching and training activities.  Keywords: Coaching, Rehabilitation, Juvenile Delinquency

Abstract

This research aims to determine about to find standard completeness equipment for Peterseli restaurant  Pekanbaru. Standard completeness equipment is a measuring instrument used and already available or complete, so with completeness amenities all activities carried out. Without complete equipment it will inhibit company activities and objectives will not be achieved. This research to make use qualitative method to analysis set of case, wich to become the key informan in this research as much as three people’s. That is 1  Owner, 1 Manager and 1 Chef. Sources were obtained through observation, interview and documentation. Based on result of this research, the conclusions of this research are standard completeness equipment for restaurant in accordance with the stadards, but still needs to be improved raising required so that Peterseli Restaurant Pekanbaru will be better in the future.  Keywords : Standard, Completeness Equipment, Restaurant

Abstract

Indonesia is an archipelago country that has big potential in fishery sector. Seaweed, Catfish, Pole and Line Tuna cultivation is a concern of the government because of the high level of production. However, Indonesian fishery sector still has some shortcomings such as, low meat quality and not in accordance with international standards, high production cost, and low level of competitiveness in the global market. The Indonesian government through the MMAF is working with UNIDO (United Nations Industrial Development Organization) in a program called SMART-Fish Indonesia to overcome these problems.This qualitative research is document analysis using data from books, journals, newspapers and websites such as www.unido.org and www.kkp.go.id to describe impact of SMART Fish Program UNIDO and MMAF to Indonesian Fishery Sector. Group level analysis with neoliberalsm perspectives about the role of international organization and international organization theories was used to elaborate the impact.The result showed that SMART Fish Indonesia program succeeded in improving the performance of Indonesian fishery sector especially in seaweed, catfish, and tuna cultivation. The program succeeded in improving fish quality, lowering production costs, and increasing production profits. In addition, with this program, Indonesian catfish have their own brand named Indonesian Pangasius The Better Choice and have been known by many countries. Abstract

The 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia states that the Republic of Indonesia is a unitary state in the form of a republic. The granting of the widest possible autonomy to the Regions is directed to accelerate the realization of the welfare of the community through improved services, empowerment, and community participation. In addition, through broad autonomy, in the strategic environment of globalization, the Region is expected to be able to increase its competitiveness by paying attention to the principles of democracy, equity, justice, privileges and specificities as well as the potential and diversity of the Region in the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia.This study aims to describe the empowerment program of remote indigenous communities by the Bengkalis Regency Social Service towards the Sakai Tribe in Semunai Village, Pinggir Subdistrict and to determine the factors that hamper the Bengkalis Regency Social Service towards the remote indigenous community empowerment program (KAT). This research uses descriptive qualitative methods and data collection techniques by observation, literature study and interviews.The results of this study can be seen that the implementation of the aid program by the Bengkalis Regency Social Service towards KAT in the form of assistance for livable houses (RLH), rainwater collection assistance (PAH) and school equipment assistance. The empowerment program carried out by Bengkalis Regency Social Service has not been implemented optimally and only covers physical aspects. This can be seen in the implementation of the empowerment program that is uneven and unrealized with the target to be achieved. The inhibiting factor in the implementation of remote indigenous community empowerment programs is the lack of budget in implementing remote indigenous community empowerment programs, the culture of remote indigenous communities that are still primitive and dependent (Dependency). Keywords: Regional Autonomy, Social Empowerment, Empowerment Preparation

Abstract

 This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of Starbucks Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program that is Coffee and Farmer Equity (C.A.F.E.) Practices to coffee farmers in Costa Rica. The purpose of this research are to find out and to describe the impact of the C.A.F.E. Practices throughout its four programs and the effectiveness to coffee farmers in Costa Rica. The coffee industry in Costa Rica had been through tough time during 2000s, a lot of issues to concerned, mostly about environmental and social-economic. Starbucks brings their awareness about those issues and fix it by their own CSR program.This research is a qualitative research, which is done by explaining the case based on facts. Neo liberalism theory helps to analyze the role of non nation actor, which is Multinational Corporation. Another theoretical framework applied in this research are Corporate Social Responsibility theory and the effectiveness theory and also group analysis to assisting the researcher to find the answers in this case. The techniques used to collect data to study the case of library research in the form of journals, books, an official document, articles, and websites.The result of this research shows that the four programs that are Quality, Economic Transparency, Social Responsibility and Environmental Leadership in the C.A.F.E. Practices has given impacts to costa rican coffee farmers since it was established in 2004. During its first three years ran, C.A.F.E. Practices focused to help farmers improve their coffee production for the quantity and the quality as well. Environmental issues and social-economic problems decreased from year after year. The effectiveness brought impacts and achieved the main goal of the program that are make the coffee industry to ethically sourced and sustainability. Keyword(s): Effectiveness, C.A.F.E. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of organizational culture and work environment on employee performance partially and simultaneously. This study uses a questionnaire as a data collection tool that is distributed to 61 respondents at the Tampan Mental Hospital Pekanbaru. The data is then processed using descriptive analysis and statistical analysis using SPSS 23 by conducting validity, reliability testing, simple linear regression analysis, multiple linear regression analysis, determination analysis (R2) and hypothesis testing by t test (partial) and F test (simultaneous).The results showed that the first hypothesis testing is organizational culture on employee performance, namely t arithmetic (3.883)> t table (2.001), meaning that organizational culture has a significant effect on employee performance. Second, the work environment is t arithmetic (4,723)> t table (2,001), meaning that the work environment has a significant effect on employee performance. F test results (14.926)> F table (3.16) means that the organizational culture and work environment simultaneously have a significant effect on employee performance. Keywords: Organizational Culture, Work Environment, Employee Performance

Abstract

The current condition of drug abuse in Indonesia is a very worrying problem, Indonesia is in a state of emergency on drugs. Drugs have spread throughout districts and cities in 33 provinces. This means that no area is free from drug trafficking. Geographically, Riau is close to neighboring countries such as Malaysia and Singapore, so it has a high potential for conflict. Its strategic location makes Riau an entry point for radicalism and drug trafficking. This situation has resulted in Riau, especially Pekanbaru City, becoming an area that is vulnerable to the infiltration of drug trafficking in the community.          This study aims to describe the implementation of the duties and functions of the Pekanbaru City National Narcotics Agency in the Prevention of Narcotics Abuse in Pekanbaru City in 2018. In addition, to determine the inhibiting factors for this implementation. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods and data collection techniques based on observation, literature study and interviews.          The results of this study can be seen that the implementation of the duties and functions of the Pekanbaru City National Narcotics Agency in Preventing Narcotics Abuse in Pekanbaru City in 2018 is quite good, but there are several problems such as ineffective implementation of the duties and functions of the City National Narcotics Agency, the establishment of anti-drug-oriented development policies by the Pekanbaru City BNN. in the field of prevention. As for the inhibiting factors, namely the lack of BNN Pekanbaru City budget in carrying out its duties and functions, the lack of facilities and infrastructure for BNN Pekanbaru City and the lack of support from the leadership of SKPD (Regional Government Performance Units) in Pekanbaru City in implementing the P4GN program. Keywords: Duties and Functions, National Narcotics Agency (BNN), Prevention, Abuse, Narcotics.

Abstract

Karimun Regency is a national strategic area in the form of the Indonesian sea border area and a free trade area and port. This is the background of the importance of regional development efforts. One of the efforts is to have adequate transportation facilities and supporting infrastructure because the presence of the airport is very important to encourage monetary growth and tourism for the growth of Karimun Regency. The interests and needs of the community for representative air transportation continue to increase, while the available aircraft are unable to meet the needs of the community due to very few routes and flight schedules. This must be a serious concern from both the central and regional governments. Then the authors sees the implementation of government affairs in transportation sector (sub-field of air transportation) in Karimun Regency in 2018.The purpose of this study is to find out how the implementation of government affairs in the transportation sector (air transportation sub-sector) in Karimun Regency in 2018. This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. In collecting data, the writer used interview and documentation techniques.The results of this study are the implementation of government affairs in transportation sector (sub-field of air transportation) in Karimun Regency carried out by the Central Government namely the Ministry of Transportation through the Directorate General of Civil Aviation which is authorized to regulate, control and supervise in transportation activities namely airport standardization, airport order and the environment, airport infrastructure and airport operations and services. Abstract

This research is motivated by the Kepenuhan Hilir Village which is determined as one of the best villages in terms of village financial management through the The village financial system   Application from 10 selected villages in Rokan Hulu Regency. However, in its implementation there are still some obstacles that cause the disruption of the process of making administrative documents and reports in the Village of Fullness of Downstream so that it is feared that these achievements can slowly decline and be left behind by other villages that are more aggressive in solving the The village financial system   application problem. So that the formulation of the problem in this study is, how the Village Financial Governance through the Village Financial System (The village financial system) in the Kepenuhan Hilir Village Kepenuhan Subdistrict Rokan Hulu District in 2017 and what are the factors inhibiting the Village Financial Governance through the Village Financial System (The village financial system) in the Kepenuhan Hilir Village In addition, this study aims to determine the Village Financial Management through the Village Financial System (The village financial system) in the Kepenuhan Hilir Village Kepenuhan Subdistrict Rokan Hulu District in 2017 and to find out the inhibiting factors of Village Financial Governance through the village financial system in Kepenuhan Hilir Village Kepenuhan Subdistrict Rokan Hulu District in 2017. The method used in this study was qualitative with a descriptive approach. The type of data in this study are primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques in this study were interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative.                The results of this study indicate that the Village Financial Governance through the Village Financial System (The village financial system) in the Kepenuhan Hilir Village Kepenuhan Subdistrict Rokan Hulu District in 2017 is carried out with five stages, namely: (1) Village Financial Planning Stage (2) Village Financial Implementation Stage (3) Village Financial Administration Stage (4) Village Financial Reporting Stage (5) Village Financial Accountability Stage. In addition, the Village of the Fullness of the Hilir in conducting village management also applies four principles, namely: the principle of transparent, accountable, participatory, orderly and budgetary discipline.
