Abstract

The Climate Village Program is a national scope program managed by the Ministry of Environment and Forestry in order to increase the involvement of the community and other stakeholders to strengthen the capacity of adaptation to the effects of climate change and reduce greenhouse gas emissions and provide recognition of climate change adaptation and mitigation efforts. has been done that can improve welfare at the local level in accordance with regional conditions. The purpose of this study was to determine community empowerment through the climate village program in the village of Gunung Mulya, Gunung Sahilan Sub-District, Kampar Regency and to know the supporting factors in community empowerment through the climate village program in Gunung Mulya Village, Gunung Sahilan Sub-District, Kampar Regency. This study uses qualitative research using a case study approach and the data needed both primary and secondary data obtained through observation, interviews and documentation and then analyzed based on research problems. The results of this study indicate that: first, community empowerment through the climate village program in the village of Gunung Mulya, Gunung Sahilan Subdistrict, Kampar Regency has been running optimally in accordance with the stages of community empowerment, but there are just a few problems in developing SMEs in business development that have not yet been run. Second, supporting factors in community empowerment through the climate village program in Gunung Mulya Village, Gunung Sahilan Subdistrict, Kampar Regency are motivation and community participation. Keywords : Community Empowerment, Climate Village Program

Abstract

This research was conducted in the District of Tampan, Pekanbaru City. The purpose of this study was to find out what the reasons are owned by the student to work as mosque marabouts while conducting lectures in District of Tampan Pekanbaru City. The focal point of this study is any reason for a student to work as marabouts mosque in the District of Tampan, Pekanbaru City. This research was conducted in three students who study while working as mosque marabouts by three mosques where the mosque is determined base dont heuse of purposive sampling technique. The study used observation, indepth interview sand documentation. Researchers found that there are several reason sstudents college while working as mosque marabouts is as follows: dueto economic factors, and non-economic, Non-economic form: worship, hobby, researchers found that the subject sofresearch work because they want to be closeto the Almighty, theim pulset olive independently, the researchers found that the study subject swould like to help the economy of his family and also wanted to have an independent attitude. There is a pattern of division of time between the time the subject of research work, college, and recreation as well as the following: the division of the average college research subject canmanage their college studies whilst working so that the research subjects did not neglect their college studies because of their job. The division of time worked, on average, the study subjects did not neglect their work even though they are second priority and their studies are their priorities. The division of recreation time, on average the study subjects have recreation time to relieve their work stress and their college study stress, some of the options of recreation time subjects are hanging out with friends, exercising, rest, playing music, and tour some recreational places.  Keywords: College Students, Marabouts, Rational Action.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the quality of bellboy service at the Pangeran Beach Padang hotel. This study uses quantitative methods to address the issues raised. The samples in this study were 98 people using purposive sampling technique. While the data collection techniques in this study used a questionnaire / questionnaire, observation and documentation. The collection technique used in this questionnaire is a Likert scale, then the data will be processed using quantitative methods whose data are numerical oriented on results in the form of conclusions that are certain and clear. Abstract

The Parliament of the European Union issued a resolution on palm oil in April 2017.The resolution is titled Palm Oil and Deforestation of Rainforest. The resolution isconsidered discriminatory against palm oil because it recommends other vegetable oils thatare no more efficient than palm oil. The discrimination of palm oil has been going on for along time, but this time the Uni European-levelissued the resolution. This is contrary to theprinciples established by the Eurepoean Union so far as the champion of open, rules-basedfree, and fair trade.This research uses Library Research method. The data is obtained from the officialwebsite of the relevant institutions both from Indonesia and the Parliament of the EuropeanUnion. Using the perspective of Mercantilism, the level of Country-Nation analysis andCompetitive Advantage Theory proposed by Michael E. porter and the Concept of NationalInterest.Indonesia as the world's largest palm oil producer feels very disappointed with theissuance of the resolution. Moreover, Indonesia has strived to create the Palm Oil Industrythat is compatible with sustainable development. Indonesia needs a special strategy so thatthe resolution is not implemented because it will have a political impact and a bad image onthe European Union countries and other countries due to restrictions on palm oil. However,Indonesia is not alone. Indonesia along with other palm oil producing countries unite to fightthe resolution and show the facts through a positive campaign that palm oil is a moreefficient, effective and sustainable type of vegetable oil. Abstract

The background from this research is different ways of worshiping LDII (Lembaga Dakwah Islam Indonesia) religious groups. This research was conducted in Sialang Indah Village, Pangkalan Kuras District, Pelalawan Regency. The focus of this research is on the forms of special worship carried out by LDII members in Sialang Indah Village, the prayer procedures in LDII religious groups, and the marriage procession of LDII group members. This study aims to determine the types of LDII special worship groups that distinguish them from other religious groups, the procedures for praying in the teachings of the LDII group that distinguishes other Islamic organizations, and the marriage procession of the LDII group in Sialang Indah Village. The method used is qualitative descriptive. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews with 5 informants, and documentation. The results of the study show that there are characteristics or special things in the LDII group that are routinely carried out, such as regular recitations conducted according to the age level of group members. Furthermore, differences in compulsory readings (one of them at Tahiyat prayer reading) and sunah (one of them is at the Iftitah prayer reading) in LDII group prayer, and matchmaking procession to the LDII group members' wedding, which in practice is arranged by the matchmaking team that has been formed in LDII's organizational structure.Keywords: LDII, Prayer, Marriage, Worship

Abstract

This research will explain about Effectiveness Project Capacity Building for Restoration of ecosystem in Conservation Areas (RECA) Performed by Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) with Indonesia on 2010-2015 in five Conservation areas that is National park of Sembilang, National park of Ciremai Mountain, National Park of Bromo Tengger Semeru, National Park of Merapi Mountain and National Park of Maneupeu Tanah Daru. In this research focus on Effectiveness Project Capacity Buiding for Restoration of Ecosystem in Conservation Areas (RECA) in National Park of Sembilang the problem occur is degradation mangrove caused Fish Pond Activity by the Community.Sources were obtained through literature review from Jurnals, Books, Thesis, reports, Internet and Guideline Project JICA-RECA to explain Project-RECA and analyzing Efectivty Project. The Perspektif used in this research is Green Thought and the Theories is Ekosentrism (Deep Ecology) and Effectiveness.In this research author concludes that Project-RECA in National Park of Sembilang Effektive as goals project analyzed by effektiviness theory. Project ouput in National park of Sembilang is 200,75 ha restoration land is success by planting mangrove seeds, 80% mangrove already grow well in degradation land in National Park of Sembilang Palembang, South Sumatera.Keywords : Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), Restoration Project, degradation Mangrove

Abstract

The tourist attraction of Teuk Jering Hamlet is a tourist village location which is currently being discussed in cyberspace, especially social media. This village has its own uniqueness which is an attraction for a tourist village of Teluk Jering village itself which has a very interesting view, which is a vast expanse of green grass that can refresh the eyes and also the banks of different rivers. The locations of Jering Bay attractions adjacent to the borders of Pekanbaru City and Kampar Regency make many residents from Pekanbaru and other areas deliberately visit Jering Bay. Local residents and their managers are very enthusiastic about this attraction, seen from the spirit of those who try to advance this Love Island tourist attraction to be known and become a tourist attraction favored by tourists by making a number of programs, facilities and government involvement, because these attractions bring change significant to the social and economic life of the local population, this phenomenon attracts writers to research about; efforts to develop tourism objects and the benefits and disadvantages of rural communities in managing Cinta Island attractions, in this study the researchers interviewed 7 informants who were 2 tourist managers, 2 locals who were also traders in tourist attractions, one ninik mamak dusun III who also participated in trading in tourist attractions and 2 more tourists using qualitative methods and triangulated data collection. Abstract

The title of this research is the Participation of Political Society in the Election of Head of Pelalawan Regency in Ukui Sub-district 2015. Based on the background The implementation of democracy in Indonesia is growing, one of which is realized in the implementation of regional head election. The existence of the election of regional heads of each individual or community group can manifest their will voluntarily, without influence from anyone. In this case every member of the community can directly vote in the election and be active in attending his political activities. But the liveliness of community members both in voting and campaign activities must be driven by an attitude of orientation that is so high. Besides that, awareness and motivation of citizens in political activity is very important to sustain the political participation level on the election of regional head. Due to the enthusiastic attitude of citizens in political participation it certainly leads to the consequences on a stable political order. So is the case in Kecamatan Ukui Pelalawan District where the low level of public participation against the election of Head of Region in 2015.The type used in this study is quantitative with Comparative Causal Studies. Data collection techniques used in this study are, questionnaires (questionnaires), interviews and documentation. The location of the research was conducted in Kecamatan Ukui. Based on the results of analysis conducted on research data to reveal and answer research questions relating to community participation in Pelalawan District elections in Kecuk ukui can be concluded that the participation of people in Ukui Sub-district is very low in comparison with other districts this is caused by several factors Namely socialization, social economy, political belief and political awareness.Keywords: Community participation, Election of Head of Region

Abstract

This research was conducted by Alpha Hotel Pekanbaru located in the street of Imam Munandar (Harapan Raya), Simpang Sudirman No.17, 28282Pekanbaru. This study aims to determine the effect of organizational climate and organizational commitment on employee performance at Alpha Hotel pekanbaru.In this study the method used was quantitative descriptive with the SPSS program ver. 17 for Windows. The population in this study were all employees at the Alpha Hotel Pekanbaru, which numbered 66 employees. The sample in this study was taken using a sensus method which is 66 employees. Methods of data collection using questionnaires (questionnaire) and free interviews. Hypothesis testing uses multiple linear analysis methods with the results of research namely Y = 3,646a + 0,404X1 + 1,313X2The research that has been done shows the results that respondents respond to organizational climate, organizational commitment in good category. While for the t test that has been done shows that the organizational climate variable and organizational commitment partially have a significant effect on employee performance. And the results of the F test show that simultaneously the organizational climate and organizational commitment. And for the calculation of the coefficient of determination (R2) obtained by the value of R Square of 0.842, on employee performance. This shows that the development of organizational climate and organizational commitment has an effect of 84.2% on employee performance, while the remaining 15.8% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study. Abstract

This study will test and analyze the relationship between work ethic and the productivity of vegetable growers in Pauh District, Padang, West Sumatra. This area has a very high potential for vegetable cultivation, with an area of 181 hectares. There are no fewer than 468 farmers who grow different types of vegetables. To get the right research results, the authors used a descriptive quantitative method with a total sample of 47 people and conducted a correlation test using the SPSS program. Based on the correlation test conducted, it was found that the relationship (correlation) between work ethic and the productivity of vegetable growers was 0.698 and included in the strong category. These results also prove that the Ha hypothesis can be accepted with the statement "There is a link between work ethics and the productivity of vegetable growers in the district of Pauh, Padang, West Sumatra".  Keywords: Work Ethic, Productivity, Farmer
