Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of position promotions and compensation on employee performance partially and simultaneously. This study uses questionnaires as a means of collecting data distributed to 93 employees in Giant Ekstra Nangka Pekanbaru. The data from the questionnaire was further processed using descriptive analysis and statistical analysis using SPSS 17.0 by performing validity test, reliability test, simple linear analysis, multiple linear analysis, determination analysis (R²) and hypothesis test with t test (partial) and F ( Simultaneous).The results showed that the results of the first hypothesis testing of position promotion employee performance is(10,637) > (1,986), meaning that position promotions variables significantly affect employee performance. Both compesation on employee performance is (10,637) > (1,986), meaning compesation has a significant effect on employee performance. The result of F test of position promotions and compensation on employee performance is(76,603) >(3,100), meaning position promotions and compensation simultaneously have a significant effect on employee performance.Keywords: Position Promotion, Compensation, Employee Performance

Abstract

UPPKS is a group of family planning support activities whose members consist of Prosperous and Prosperous Families I, in order to increase family welfare through entrepreneurial activities. The group initiated by BKKBN in 1976 aims to improve the economic condition of KB family to make life more prosperous. The purpose of this research is to: (1) to know the implementation of UPPKS program implemented by the Office of Women Empowerment, Child Protection, Population Control, And Family Planning (DPPPAPPKB) in increasing family income. (2) To know factors influencing the implementation of program program of UUPKS Cahaya Kampung Tualang by the Office of Women Empowerment of Child Protection of Population Control and Family Planning (DPPPAPPKB). (3) To know the impact that happened with the UPPKS Cahaya Kampung Tualang program for the members of UPPKS group.This study uses qualitative research methods. Data analysis is done by data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The subject of this research is DPPPAPPKB Siak Regency, UPPKS Cahaya Kampung Tualang Group.Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that (1) Implementation of UPPKS Cahaya Kampung Tualang by the Department of Women Empowerment of Child Protection and Family Planning (DPPPAPPKB) of Siak Regency has not run well. This is because of the unfavorable tasks and functions of the Office of Women Empowerment of Child Protection of Family and Family Planning Control (DPPPAPPKB) in the field of Family Planning and Family Welfare in running UPPKS. (2) The increase of the Prosperous Family Stage of UPPKS Cahaya Group is still the status of Prosperous Prosperous Family and Prosperous Prosperous I, which means that the group that has been running for two years has not been able to assist the group members in improving the family economy that is the main goal of UPPKS.Key Words: Implementation, Program, UPPKS, DPPPAPPKB

Abstract

The reason for the expansion of Kelurahan in the City of Pekanbaru is the ever increasing number of residents in each parent village. The increase in population also automatically increases the volume of activities in the fields of government, development, and society. Based on these considerations, the main kelurahan is considered to be ineffective and inefficient in providing services, such as the length of time for completion in administering an administrative service, slow development, and fostering community affairs that are becoming less focused, so that the pemekeran in a number of districts in Pekanbaru City is considered as one of the policies that can solve this problem..This research was conducted in the villages resulting from the division in Pekanbaru City. The informants in this study are those who are competent in the process of urban sprawl in the city of Pekanbaru such as the Commission I of the Pekanbaru City DPRD, Head of Governance, Camat, Lurah, kelurahan staff and community leaders. One of the factors to do the division of Kelurahan in Pekanbaru City is the increasing number of population in each main village. The results of this study indicate that the process of pemekaran is the desire of the community to bloom several villages in Pekanbaru in principle aimed at improving the welfare of the community. Keyword : Process, Kelurahan, Expansion

Abstract

This research explaining  the role of the ICRC in dealing with humanitarian crises caused by armed conflict in the Marawi City of the Philippines in 2017-2018, between the Philippine government and armed groups in Marawi. This conflict occurred when the Maute group ambushed the military vehicle of the Philippine government who wanted to capture the leader of the Abu Sayyaf group believed to be in the city of Marawi. Even though the conflict had ended, the resulting impact caused a humanitarian crisis. Since the conflict, the people of Marawi have experienced a difficult situation. They lost their homes because part of the town of Marawi has been destroyed by armed conflict. Some of the inhabitants of Marawi took refuge in refugee camps.            This research uses the perspective of Pluralism, Pluralism believes that the state is not the only actor in international relations. This study uses International Organizational Theory and the Concept of Humanitarian Intervention. The techniques used in collecting research data come from journals, books, official documents, artkel, and websites. This study uses qualitative methods.            The ICRC as an organization engaged in humanity has an obligation to assist pre-war victims during the conflict and also the impacts caused by the conflict such as the humanitarian crisis. The ICRC provides food assistance, treats injured victims, provides clean water and sanitation, distributes hygiene kits and household equipment during evacuation and meets the needs of conflict-affected populations. Keywords: Role, International Humanitarian Law, ICRC, International Organizations, Humanitarian Crisis, Conflict, Humanitarian Intervention

Abstract

This study examines the Rationality of Society in Tradition of Maelo Jalur on Sungai Pinang, Hulu Kuantan Sub-district, Kuantan Singingi District. Maelo Jalur is a Tradition take the wod for jalur from the forest to the village by using human power as well as using tools and certain rituals that must be performed. Maelo jalur is a culture that is still maintained  and awaited  by society of Kuantan Singingi, because every jalur must carry out the traditions of the Maelo Jalur. Nowadays Maelo Jalur has undergone a change and the society has thought rationally so that the jalur can quickly arrive. In this study, researchers used rational choice theory from James Coleman. This research method is descriptive qualitative with 5 informants consisting of village heads, leaders of jalur, hamlet heads, jalur shaman and Sungai Pinang village youth. The results of this study indicate that in the present era of Maelo Jalur tradition changes both the way, the energy used, the time, and the costs in Maelo Jalur, this is due to the depelopment of the era, education and the mindset of a more rational society. Maelo Jalur is a unifying tool for the village and generates values of mutual cooperation. It is hoped that resources and norms can be maintainted in the tradition of Maelo Jalur.  Keyword: Maelo Jalur, Rationality, Tradition.

Abstract

This research titled The Application Excellent In PT. Pandi Kencana Murni Pekanbaru. This study aims: (1) to find out how the implementation of excellent service in PT. Pandi Kencana Murni Pekanbaru has been set according to the concept A4 excellent service, (2) know the obstacles in applying excellent service in PT. Pandi Kencana Murni Pekanbaru. The sampels used in this study were 73 people, the sampling technique was determined using accidental sampling technique, this study used a quantitative descriptive method to examine the issues raised in this study. This research was conducted in PT. Pandi Kencana Murni street Paus No 104 C Pekanbaru,  the study was conducted for 6 month, starting from November 2019 – April 2020. The technique of collecting data using observation, documentation, interviews, and questioner. The sample of this research is umrah pilgrims who have used the services in PT. Pandi Kencana Murni Pekanbaru. The results of this study indicate that overall respondents gave very good responses to the excellent service provided by PT. Pandi Kencana Murni Pekanbaru pure, this is evidenced by results of a questioner from the responses of pigrims who have used the services in PT. Pandi Kencana Murni Pekanbaru with very good value. Abstract

A true news is a construction carried out by the media, and according to Gregg Barak in the theory of newsmaking criminology the construction of a violent news is often exploited because psychologically humans are interested in begging for others. Therefore the news of violence that is presented by moving emotions is very popular in the community. The more emotional and dramatic a news of violence, the more it will inspire people to click on the news. However, there is no indication of the exploitation of reporting in the theory of newsmaking criminology, so that to measure the quality of reporting, technical rules related to reporting include one of the Guidelines for Media News Coverage.This research uses Newsmaking Criminology by Gregg Barak by using quantitative content analysis methods with a descriptive approach. The research subjects, namely the news narrative contained by GoRiau.com.com, from 1 April to 31 July 2019 totaled 21 news. This research is intended to describe the Implementation of Guidelines for Media News Coverage conducted by Goriau.com regarding sexual violence. Data obtained by coding performed by 3 coder.Based on the results of the study it can be seen that the implementation of the Guidelines for Media News Coverage associated with reporting sexual violence by GoRiau.com is generally quite good. From the Four Indicators examined, it is seen that as a whole 75% of the total coverage was implemented. Abstract

This study uses 3 variables, namely job leadership, supervision and nurse work discipline. The job performance variable has 3 dimensions, namely able to work together, experts in a field and have spirit to move forward. In the supervision variable has 4 dimensions, namely setting standard, measuring performance, comparing performance with standartd and determining results with standard. On variables work discipline has 4 dimensions, namely attandance, responsibilitie, attitude and norm. The sample used are PNS nurses at RSUD Tarutung North tapanuli Regency with 60 respondents. Data obtained from questionnaires and then processed then tested using statistical analysis such as validity test, reliability test, simple linear regression, multiple linear regression, determination test (R2), significant individual test (t test), and simultaneous significant test (f test) with using the SPSS program. The results of the study indicate the influence of leadership and supervision on nurse work discipline. The better leadership and supervision then it will increase and better nurse work discipline. The results of the calculation of the determination coefficient (R2) obtained the value of R Square of 0.629. The meaning is that the contribution of leadership variables and supervision on work discipline variable is 62.9%.  Keyword : Work Discipline, Leadership, Supervision

Abstract

Javanese and Bugi ethnic marriages are intercultural marriages with different cultural backgrounds. In this marriage, the Javanese follow the Bugis culture in their interactions and customs. However, it takes nothing away from Javanese culture. For this reason, the researchers are interested in knowing the communication between the Javanese and Bugi ethnic groups in the process of acculturation of internal customs and in knowing the communication between the Javanese and Bugi ethnic groups in the process of linguistic acculturation.                    The approach used in qualitative research. This research was carried out in Kotabaru Seberida Village, Keritang Indragiri Hilir District, Riau Province. The selection of informants was carried out by means of a deliberate technique with the number of informants 5 pairs of Javanese and Bugis. The data collection used is observation, interview and documentation study. While the data analysis technique used descriptive analysis according to Miles & Huberman. The data validity verification technique used in this research is the Extension and Triangulation of Participation.               The results showed that communication between Javanese and Bugi ethnic groups in customs is the first thing to do to understand the couple's culture, after gaining an understanding, the next stage is to understand and accept the couple's culture. The process of linguistic acculturation carried out by the Javanese and Bugis couple is verbal and non-verbal communication, the stage is to try to understand the language of the couple so that at the stage using Javanese and Bugis, non-verbal communication is carried out when they don't understand what the tribe of the good couple says. moving their heads or moving their hands only, however, this is not a serious obstacle for Javanese and Bugi couples, they learn from each other to adapt and adapt to their partner's language, although at first they adapt only silently.

Abstract

The Pekanbaru City Regional Development Planning Agency is a supporting element of the Pekanbaru City Government in the planning field. The importance of employee performance at the Pekanbaru City Planning and Development Agency (Bappeda) which has the main task of assisting the Mayor in administering Pekanbaru City Government in the field of development planning, and play a role as a regional technical institution that is responsible for development planning as mandated in Article 14 paragraph 1 of Law Number 32 Year 2004 concerning Regional Government. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the performance of ASN employees in carrying out the main tasks and functions of Pekanbaru City Bappeda and to identify and analyze the factors inhibiting the performance of ASN employees in carrying out the main duties and functions of the Pekanbaru City Bappeda. Employee performance appraisal indicators consist of quantity, quality, time and cost. The results of this study indicate that employee performance based on the output aspect in the aspect of work quantity is good enough, but what is targeted has not been achieved so it is still necessary to improve management and organizational communication. In the aspect of work quality it is still not satisfactory because the quality of work results is still low, in the aspect of employee consistency it shows that employees are still not consistent in carrying out their work, and in the aspect of employee attitudes, they are also still not satisfied which is reflected in the lack of discipline towards time. Keywords: Performance, Employees, Bappeda.
