Abstract

Good working capital management determines the effectiveness and efficiency of the activities carried out by the company. This study aims to determine and analyse the effectiveness of working capital management in increasing liquidity and profitability at PT. Perkebunan Nusantara V Pekanbaru. The type of data used in this study is descriptive quantitative data. The data source uses primary data obtained through interviews and secondary data using the financial statements of PT. Perkebunan Nusantara V Pekanbaru Tbk for the period 2015-2019 and using ratio analysis.               The results of the study are as follows: First, the management of working capital to liquidity causes a decrease in the current ratio, but sometimes increases. The decrease in current ratio was due to a significant increase in current assets compared to the previous year. Second, the management of working to profitability causes a decrease in return on investment. But sometimes increases. Return on investment and return on equity which is caused by the company's net profit has decreased significantly compared to the previous year. Keywords: working capital, liquidity and profitability.

Abstract

This study aims to test: (1) to find out and analyze the working capital in the savings and loan cooperatives in Tapung Hilir District, Kampar Regency, (2) to find out and analyze liquidity in the savings savings cooperatives in Tapung Hilir Sub-District, Kampar Regency, ( 3) to analyze the effect of working capital on liquidity in savings cooperatives in the Tapung Hilir District of Kampar Regency. Where the independent variable in this research is Working Capital and the dependent variable is Liquidity. This research uses secondary data in the form of Annual Cooperative Members Meeting Report for 2009-2018. Data analysis in this study used simple linear regression, t test, and the coefficient of determination using the SPSS 16 program. The results of the analysis show that the Working Capital variable (t-test) partially influences the Liquidity of the Saving and Loan Cooperative in Tapung Hilir District, Kampar Regency. Abstract

The E-Tilang program is a form of the National Police's seriousness in carrying out instructions from President Jokowi. The Police Headquarters Traffic Police, Inspector General Pol Agung Budi Maryoto, said that this program also aims to make the police more professional and even cut the bureaucratic chain. The application of this online-based system can prevent and reduce the practice of extortion (extortion) and make it easier for people to make ticket payment transactions. The purpose of this research to find out how effective the use of the E-Tilang application is for the police in the ticketing process in Pekanbaru City.The research method used in this research is quantitative. The population in this study was the Traffic Unit (Satlantas) Pekanbaru Police, amounting to 121 people. The sampling technique in this study is total sampling, which means that the number of samples is the same as the population, in other words all the total population in this study are defined as samples. The research data were collected by means of a questionnaire and documentation. The data measurement technique in this study uses a Likert scale. While the data analysis technique in this research is descriptive analysis.The results showed that the E-Tilang program was very beneficial for the Police and the people of Pekanbaru City. The E-Tilang program is considered to have a significant contribution to the work program of the Police in Pekanbaru City. With the E-Tilang program, the Police find it easier to compile data and carry out their duties as a civilian general institution that maintains order, security and law enforcement in all areas in Pekanbaru City. Of the five indicators that the author uses in this study, the average value is 3.46. This value is in the effective category with a score range of 3.41 - 4.20.

Abstract

protecting its citizens who are overseas with a case study of piracy of the FV Naham 3. The FV Naham 3 is an Oman-flagged ship and is a victim of piracy by Somali pirates in the south of the Seychelles . The ship is known to carry 29 crews (ABK) from several countries in Asia such as China, Philippines, Vietnam, Taiwan, Cambodia and Indonesia. This research uses the perspective of Neorealism, Diplomacy theory, and the concept of Human Security. The diplomacy model that the author uses is multitrack diplomacy by Joseph Montville. There are 2 tracks diplomacy from multitrack diplomacy by Joseph Montville, namely track one is diplomacy carried out by state actors, while track two is diplomacy carried out by negotiators who are not representatives of a government.The rescue process carried out by the Indonesian government and respective governments whose citizens were also victims of the Somali pirates being held hostage throughout 2012-2014, had yet to get results. After the efforts that had not been made, the state governments whose citizens had been taken hostage built communication and provided information to one another regarding the condition of the victims and the Somali pirates so that the release could be carried out immediately. After establishing communication with the governments of other countries, the Indonesian government through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and BIN appointed Holman Fenwick Willan who then collaborated with Oceans Beyond Piracy (OBP) and formed a rescue team for victims of the Somali pirate hostage under the name Hostage Support Partnership (HSP). Countries whose citizens were also victims of hostage taking also provided various financials and material assistance in this process of release. Abstract

Rumah Singgah Tuan Kadi is one of the historical tourist objects in Pekanbaru City. Located in Badar village, Senapelan sub-district, Rumah Singgah Tuan Kadi is a strategic tourist attraction because it is located on the banks of the Siak river, Pekanbaru City and has also been made a cultural heritage certified by the Pekanbaru City Culture and Tourism Office. However, there are still many people in Pekanbaru who do not know about the existence of Rumah Singgah Tuan Kadi. Therefore, researchers are interested in conducting research on how the "Promotion Strategy of the Culture and Tourism Office in Introducing Historical Tourism Rumah Singgah Tuan Kadi in Pekanbaru City with the aim of knowing how social media marketing, sales promotion, and events are being conducted.

Abstract

 This research is motivated by business competition in the era of globalization which requires companies to compete to produce quality products and maintain their existence. Human resources are an important role for the success of the PT. Citra Riau Sarana II Kuantan Singingi Regency which needs to be maintained and developed to increase work productivity. This study aims to determine the level of work productivity of employees in the production division at the PT. Citra Riau Sarana II Kuantan Singingi Regency. This study used a questionnaire as a data collection tool which was distributed to 73 respondents to production employees. In this research, the method used is descriptive and quantitative. The data obtained from the results of interviews and the distribution of questionnaires/questionnaires were then tested with statistics through the SPSS program. The analytical method used in this research is simple and multiple regression analysis, and through validity and reliability tests. In this study the results obtained are that Occupational Safety and Health (K3) has a positive and significant effect on Work Productivity, Work Discipline has a positive and significant effect on Work Productivity and that Occupational Safety and Health (K3) and Work Discipline have a positive and significant impact on Productivity. Abstract

Restaurant tax is one of the biggest local original government revenue in Tanah Datar district. The potential of restaurant tax revenue in Tanah Datar Regency exceedsmore than 1 billion, but it is still not optimal yet. There are still several restaurants that do not pay the tax. In addition, there are still arrears in tax payments. Then, many restaurants are not recorded in the Local Government Finance Office of Tanah Datar. Those problems indicate that Tanah Datar District government regulation is still not up to date in terms of managing restaurant tax collection.Management restaurant tax collection in Tanah Datar Districk can be seen from: Planning, Organizing, Acting, Controlling. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that in management of restaurant tax collection in Tanah Datar District government regulations are still weak in terms of restaurant tax collection, lack of human resources quality to manage restaurant taxes, and the lack of public awareness of the importance of taxes for development. Based on the several weaknesses above, Local Government Finance Office of Tanah Datar is suggesed to be able to resolve wisely to increase restaurant tax revenue so that it runs well. Keyword: Restaurant Tax, Management, Local Government Finance Office

Abstract

This research was conducted on traveling traders in Kelurahan Pebatuan, Pekanbaru City with the aim of knowing how social capital and contributions become traveling traders for the family economy. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. The subjects in this study were 6 people. The technique for determining informants is to use techniques purposive sampling. Purposive sampling is taking the subject by specifying special characteristics in accordance with the objectives of the study so that it is expected to answer the research problem.In collecting data, researchers used observation, interview and documentation techniques. The theory used is the theory of social capital consisting of social networks, social norms and beliefs. The results of this study are that social capital is very important in running a mobile and smooth trading business such as networks that can help to expedite their businesses. Social norms that become a benchmark and make them more directed. Trust that makes it easy for them to buy goods to suppliers and in the transaction process with customers. With the existence of social capital such as networks, norms and beliefs it makes it easier for their businesses because in managing the business they are carried out together and a sense of trust is established. While being a traveling merchant, there is income that is used as a contribution to the family economy. The contribution is in the form of results which are used for daily needs. Keywords: Social Capital, Travelling Traders

Abstract

This research was conducted at the University of Riau with the formulation of problems (1) How the Batak Student Friendship Network in the University of Riau (Case Study of Social Adaptation of Batak Toba, Karo and Mandailing Students), (2) Factors that influence the network of friends of Batak students in the environment Riau University. The purpose of this study was to describe the Batak Student Friendship Network in the University of Riau (Case Study of Social Adaptation for Batak Toba, Karo and Mandailing Students) and to describe the factors that influence the Batak Student Friendship Network in the University of Riau. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. , the subjects in this study were Batak students (Toba, Karo and Manailing) at the University of Riau. To collect data in this study, researchers used interview guidelines and questionnaires. The results of this study indicate that the Toba and Karo Batak students are more likely to choose to be friends with their fellow ethnic groups and form less friendship with the Mandailing Batak ethnic students, and vice versa with the Mandailing Batak students who prefer to be friends with students outside the Batak ethnic group itself rather than their peers. Batak ethnicity. There are religious factors and stereotypes that are influencing factors in the network of friends among Batak students (Toba, Karo and Mandailing) in the University of Riau. Keywords: Network of Friends, Adaptation of Batak Students

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of nurse placement and incentive partially and simultaneously. This study used a questionnaire as a tool for gathering data distributed to 94 respondents to nurses at RSIA Eria Bunda Pekanbaru. The data is then processed using descriptive analysis and statistical analysis using SPSS 24.0 by conducting validity, reliability testing, simple linear regression analysis, multiple linear analysis, determination analysis (R2) and hypothesis testing with t test (partial test) and F test (simultaneous).The result showed that the first hypothesis testing is nurses placement on nurses performance, namely tarithmetic (9,704) > ttable (1,986), meaning that nurses placement has a significant effect on nurses perfoemance. The second incentive is tarithmetic (12,886) > ttable (1,986), meaning that incentive has a significant effect on nurses performance. Test result Farithmetic (92,843) > Ftable, (3,100) meaning that nurses placement and incentive simultaneously have a significant effect on nurses performance.  Keywords: Nurses Placement, Incentive, Nurses Performance
