Abstract

This thesis is submitted to meet the requirements for a bachelor's degree in sociology with the title "Passenger's View of Trans Metro Pekanbaru". The problems in this thesis are (1) How do passengers view Trans Metro Pekanbaru services? (2) What are the factors that influence the passenger's view of the Trans Metro Pekanbaru?. The purpose of this research is to find out how the services that have been provided by Trans Metro Pekanbaru to the public and to find out how the passengers view the services that have been given by Trans Metro Pekanbaru. This research uses descriptive quantitative research method, this research was conducted in the Trans Metro Pekanbaru bus and the Trans Metro Pekanbaru bus stop which hopefully will obtain the data needed by researchers. From the results of this study, it can be seen how the passenger's view of Trans Metro Pekanbaru is where the passenger's view of the bus stop is still not good, the passenger seat and priority seat facilities are good, but the arrival time and travel time are not good, while for flight attendants, passengers give good judgment. Keyword: Views, Services, Trans Metro Pekanbaru.

Abstract

Political capital is a force that legislative candidates must have when they want to compete in a democratic party. Because political capital in the form of economic capital, social capital, cultural capital, and symbolic capital is very effective in winning political contestation. The method used in writing this research is a qualitative approach. Meanwhile, the keyinformants used were 7 people. Data collection methods are by using interviews and documentation. The findings prove that the synergy of various political capitals is very significant in determining one's victory in political contestation and at the same time giving high-cost political burdens to legislative candidates. The case of H. Sukarmis' victory in the political contestation of the legislative elections in the Electoral District VIII in 2019 has proven the importance of politics. H. Sukarmis had the advantage of social and cultural capital that his political opponents had never imagined, so he was able to displace other powerful figures who rely more on symbolic and economic capital alone. This proves that social capital economic capital, cultural capital, and symbolic capital, must be combined to win political contestation, especially general elections. Because if one capital is not used optimally, it will tend to have an impact on other capital. Abstract

The motor vehicle tax revenue strategy is a new breakthrough made by the Regional Revenue Agency of Riau Province which aims to increase motor vehicle tax revenue, especially in Pekanbaru City. With the presence of the strategy created, it is hoped that it will make it easier for the public to pay motor vehicle taxes and the public has a high awareness of paying motor vehicle taxes on time. The purpose of this study is to determine how the implementation of the strategy that has been implemented and to find out what are the supporting and inhibiting factors of the implementation of motor vehicle tax revenue strategies in Pekanbaru City. This study used interactive analysis techniques with qualitative research types using descriptive approaches and data both primary and secondary data obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation are then analyzed based on research problems. The results of this study indicate that the strategy for motor vehicle tax revenue in Pekanbaru City in motor vehicle tax revenue has not been fully implemented. The supporting factors for the motor vehicle tax revenue strategy are human resources and facilities and infrastructure. Inhibiting factors are the lack of socialization and the lack of public awareness of taxpayers in paying motorized vehicle taxes in Pekanbaru City.  Keywords: strategy, acceptance, motor vehicle tax

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to discover financial performance of The Koperasi Unit Desa (KUD) Intigrasi Karya Makmur Kenuhan Barat Village Kepenuhan districts in Rokan Hulu for the year 2014 up to 2018 using analysis of liquidity, solvency and rentability rations. The research method employed in secondary data which data from the financial statements. The data collection techniques that used are observation and documentation method. The data analysis techniques that used are by calculating liquidity, solvency and rentability rations. Based on the financial data analysis of Koperasi Unit Desa (KUD) Intigrasi Karya Makmur the researcher found that the liquidity rate from 2014 up to 2018 as indicated by the current ratio pretty good results and cash ratio gets poor results. The solvency rate from 2014 up to 2018 as indicated by DAR and DER shows very good results. The rentability rate from 2014 up to 2018 as indicated by ROA, ROE and NPM shows very good results. According from the calculating analysis by liquidity, solvency and rentability rations, it said the financial performance of Koperasi Unit Desa (KUD) Intigrasi Karya Makmur needs to be increased again. Keywords: liquidity, solvency and rentability

Abstract

PIK-R is a program from the government which is a means and a place to provide information about youth. This PIK-R is one of the programs implemented in the Kampung KB where the Kampung KB itself is an area unit at the village or kelurahan level with certain criteria in its formation where there is an integrated family planning population program and family development that aims to improve the quality of life of the community. Adolescents in this clan village have the opportunity to explore topics around youth such as adolescent health that discuss dangerous risks faced by adolescents ranging from sexuality, HIV nad AIDS nad then life skills to family planning for teenagers. Teenagers in this village are expected to be a pioneer in the creation of good and tough teens for future generations. The purpose of this study is to determine the level of knowledge of adolescents to this PIK-R program and find out what factors influence the level of knowledge of adolescents. The theory used in this research is the theory of knowledge level. This research is a quantitative research with descriptive type. The population and sample in this study were all adolescents who took part in the PIK-R activities in these two kb villages. The sampling technique used in this study is probability sampling. Data collection is done by field observations and questionnaires. The analysis is done by means of descriptive statistics by describing the data obtained. The results of this study concluded that as many as (100%) of respondents were at the know level, then as many as (81.1%) at the comprehension level, (79.8%) at the application level, (52.8%) at the analysis level, (40.2%) at the synthesis level and the highest level was evaluation at (35.8%).    Keywords: The Level of Knowledge, PIK-R, Adolescents, Kampung KB

Abstract

Leadership is the nature of a leader who has the power and strength to control and change things for the better, leadership has a purpose, namely as a means and means of driving / motivation, leadership also has a function as administration and top management in the process of its activities. H. Suyatno is the regional leader of Rokan Hilir Regency, this leader is a mandate that Suyatno must guard as well as possible as a leader. The leadership mandate must be able to change the previous situation for the better, with the strength and power of top management and administration that a leader can do what he wants to do, but what the leader does will be assessed by the people around him, this assessment can be in the form of verbal or nonverbal, which can be with language or accompanied by gestures, a person's judgment is also a form of opinion or idea regarding something concerned. For approximately 4 years, Suyatno has led the Rokan Hilir Regency, many controversial things have resulted in the emergence of public opinion or public assessment of his leadership, implementing a policy of honorary dismissals in large numbers, there is also news about Suyatno who is a drug user. Everything that happened in the leadership of Suyatno that caused the controversy would lead to different opinions. This study aims to determine the Public Opinion on the Leadership Image of Suyatno, the Regent of Rokan Hilir Regency, and also to find out what factors shape this public opinion.This study used a qualitative descriptive method based on primary and secondary data sources and used observation, interview, and documentation data collection techniques. The number of informants in this study was thirty people, and the determination of the informants used purposive sampling. The data analysis technique uses the interactive data analysis model of Miles and Huberman, where the data obtained is then processed to be reduced, presented to produce a general conclusion. The results of this study resulted in different opinions about the image of Suyatno's leadership, but what was more dominant was negative opinion with the number of opinions of twenty-four of the thirty target informants, who said Suyatno's leadership was not good, on the grounds that honorary dismissal had no solution for being dismissed. and inaccurate policies such as urban development that is being carried out, and has also been known as a drug user which has resulted in public disappointment so that there is bad opinion, the community is also of the opinion that leaders should be good role models. Several factors form an opinion, namely past experience, circulating information and organization, these three factors influence the formation of public opinion, people are disappointed and do not expect much more about Suyatno leadership which can be seen from people's negative perceptions and attitudes towards Suyatno Suyatno leadership.Keywords: Public Opinion, Image of Leadership

Abstract

Standard operational procedure (SOP) is the most important part in carrying out a task so that the task can be carried out properly and correctly. In the SOP room service, there are three stages, namely taking orders, operational activities, and clear-up. This study aims to find out how to implement the waiter/waitress room service SOP at Fox Hotel Pekanbaru, especially during the covid-19 pandemic. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews, and documentation. Key informants involved in this research are Mr. Andi Alfian as manager at the food and beverage service department at Fox Hotel Pekanbaru and Mr. Samuel Simatupang as supervisor at the food and beverage service department at Fox Hotel Pekanbaru and an additional informant, namely Ms. Elsa Rianty as a waitress at the food and beverage service department at Fox Hotel Pekanbaru. Based on the results of the study, the implementation of SOP room service during the COVID-19 pandemic by waiters/waitresses at Fox Hotel Pekanbaru has gone well. Starting from taking orders, operational activities or food delivery, to clear-up or cleaning dirty dishes and food utensils. Of course there are obstacles in the implementation of SOP room service by the waiter/waitress themselves such as during rush hour, the waiter/waitress is overwhelmed in serving room service orders, but these obstacles can be overcome properly.  Keywords: Room Service, SOP, waiter, waitress, Covid-19

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of managing human resources in moving the company. In a company managing human resources well is one way to make employee performance improve. In achieving good performance, employees with high workforce are needed to anticipate opportunities and challenges in an increasingly competitive business environment. This research was conducted at the Alpha Hotel Pekanbaru company, Jalan Imam Munandar No. 17, Tangkerang Utara, Kec. Bukit Raya Pekkanbaru. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of employee performance at Alpha Hotel Pekanbaru. The sample of this study was taken as many as 76 respondents but due to the impact of Covid19, researchers only obtained respondents as many as 36 respondents using the census method. In this research the method used is descriptive and quantitative. Data obtained from interviews and questionnaires / questionnaires were then tested with statistics through the SPSS program. The analytical method used in this study is simple and multiple regression analysis, and by passing the validity test and the reliability test. In this study the results obtained are that Employee Competence has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance, Giving Compensation has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance and Employee Competence and Giving Compensation has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance at Alpha Hotel Pekanbaru. Keywords: Employee Competence, Giving Compensation, and Employee Performance

Abstract

This research uses the theory of Ambar Teguh S (2004: 83), the stages that must be passed include the stage of awareness and behavior formation, the stage of transformation of abilities, the stage of increasing intellectual abilities. This study uses a qualitative method with an ethnographic approach. The informants in this study were the government of West Maredan Village, palm oil farmer groups and the people of West Maredan Village. Informants were taken using snowball sampling. Data collection was carried out by observation, interviews, documentation and literature study. Data analysis used a linear and hierarchical approach. The results showed that community empowerment in the management of palm oil is still going well. Then the supporting factors for community empowerment are having superior commodities, support from the local government. The inhibiting factors for community empowerment are decreasing community participation and inadequate supporting technology in the village. This is what hampers community empowerment in managing palm sap into brown sugar.Keywords: Empowerment, Community, Management.

Abstract

The research was conducted at The Werdha Husnul Khotimah Orphanage of Pekanbaru City of Riau Province. The purpose of this study is to find out the factors behind the elderly living in tresna werdha Husnul khotimah social housing and to find out the process of adaptation of the elderly in tresna werdha Husnul khotimah social housing. Researchers used descriptive qualitative analysis by assigning 6 study subjects who were taken intentionally with the criteria set by the researchers. Purposive sampling of subjects with data collection techniques such as observation, interview and documentation. The result of this study is that there are several backgrounds of elderly People Living in Werdha Husnul Khotimah Orphanage, starting from an economic background to be one of the causes of the many elderly who moved to Werdha Orphanage, then from a social background is also one of the strong causes of the elderly can move to Werdha Orphanage because of the social circumstances they do not support to stay in their previous neighborhood and have to move to Werdha Orphanage. In addition, there are several elderly adaptation processes in Panti Werdha Husnul Khotimah namely adaptations within the group such as interactions between individuals and groups or between individuals who create each other, adaptation of values and norms within the group. And also in the elderly who live in a Werdha orphanage based on their own desires and without any coercion, it will consider the Werdha orphanage as a place like a house that can give a sense of comfort. Keywords: Elderly, Factors Behind The Stay and Adaptation Process.
