Abstract

Organization performance is the ability of the organization to carry out any tasks assigned to the organization to achieve the goals, objectives, mission and vision of the organization. The Riau Province BKKBN office is one of the government organizations that has the duty and function to carry out population control and the implementation of family planning in the region. The existence of a demographic bonus opportunity in Riau is the reason for the BKKBN to run the Family Development, Population and Family Planning (Bangga Kencana) program as an effort to maintain and utilize a more comprehensive demographic bonus. The realization of organizational activities and programs depends on the activities of the organization itself and the people in it. The realization of the program can be seen from the performance of the BKKBN organization in running it. The purpose of this study was to see the performance of the Riau Province BKKBN office in implementing the Proud Kencana program and to see the factors inhibiting its performance. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method and the selection of informants using purposive sampling. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that the performance of the representative office of the National Population and Family Planning Agency (BKKBN) of Riau Province in the Family Development, Population and Family Planning Program (Bangga Kencana) was running well and optimally. This is measured by performance indicators, namely quantity, quality, productivity, timeliness (already going well). Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors for the performance of the BKKBN office in the implementation of the Proud Kencana program are discipline and budget because they are influenced by the Covid-19 pandemic situation and the age factor of the employees.  Keywords: Performance, Organization, BKKBN Province of  Riau

Abstract

Revitalization is an effort of increasing the economic value of land through rebuilding a building to improve the quality of the previous one. By the increasing of school-age population number in the Pekanbaru every year, it is necessary to increase the availability of school facilities and infrastructures in the form of buildings and furniture, as regulated in the Regulation of the Minister of National Education Number 24 of 2007 which says that the Standards for Facilities and Infrastructure in the form of Education units, land, buildings and availability of facilities and infrastructure. School development plans need to provide direction and guidance to school actors to change or strive for better schools standard. The theory used is the Danisworo theory that includes 3 stages which are revitalization: Physical Intervention, Economic Rehabilitation, and Social Revitalization. Qualitative approach is used in this study. The sources of data in this study are informants and documents. Data collection techniques are carried out by documentation and interviews while the data analysis technique is done by qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that the revitalization of the development of the education sector in Pekanbaru is said to be quite good in accordance with the decision of the mayor of Pekanbaru regarding to the determination of schools that receive the Special Allocation Fund. And also the revitalization of the development of the education sector is influenced by budget, communication and the system of work. Keywords: Revitalization, School, facilities and infrastructure

Abstract

Financial performance appraisal is a very important activity for the company. This study aims to determine and analyze the financial performance of PT. Pegadaian (Persero) Pekanbaru Regional Office II was measured using the Du Pont System method for the period 2015 to 2019 which involved the activity ratio with the profitability ratio. The type of research used in the form of secondary data which is data from financial statements. The data collection technique used is the method of documentation and interviews. The data analysis technique used is to calculate the ratios, namely Total Asset Turnover (TATO), Net Profit Margin (NPM), Return On Investment (ROI), Return On Equity (ROE) and Equity Multiplier (EM). The results of the discussion show that the performance of PT. Pegadaian (Persero) Regional Office II Pekanbaru fluctuated. This can be seen from the fluctuating state of return on equity over a five-year period. This fluctuating return on equity is influenced by fluctuations in return on investment, some of which are caused by an increase in revenue and total assets of the company but the rate of increase in company assets is greater than income, so that total asset turnover fluctuates. Even so, the net profit margin has increased even though total assets have fluctuated. Keywords: Financial Performance, Du Pont System

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the largest mangosteen producing countries in the world. The main destination country and potential market for Indonesian mangosteen exports is China. However, China terminated this cooperation due to the phytosanitary in 2013. Indonesian fresh mangosteen was alleged of plant pest organisms (fruit flies, mealy bugs, and scale insect) including metal chemicals substance. Thus, this research emerged to scrutinize the Indonesian government policy in order to lift the bans of the mangosteen export. This research used the qualitative research method, with the level of analysis of the nation-state by export theory using the perspective of liberalism. Data from books, journals, websites, dictionaries, report of the Ministry of Trade, Ministry of Agriculture, the Indonesian Central Bureau of Statistics on mangosteen export cooperation between Indonesia and China, news from magazines were sorted and analyzed to answer the reserch questions. The results of this research was founded that on December 11, 2017, both countries through each institution decided to rebuild the ties of the cooperation of mangosteen export. Exactly, the Agriculture Quarantine Agency of the Indonesian Ministry of Agriculture, and the Quarantine of Authority of China (Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection, and Quarantine of the Peoples Republic of China/ AQSIQ) signed the Mangosteen Protocol agreement. Additionally, the government of Indonesia and its entrepreneurs are not just trying to enhance the quality of the mangosteen production, but also to defend and elevating the quality of the mangosteeen products itself. Keywords: export, mangosteen, phytosanitary, commodity.

Abstract

Local proliferation after Reformasi not only brought good impact on the implementation of an autonomous regional government, but also brought bad impact that generally caused by vary things, one of them is because unclear in requiring in doing in regional expansion. In case of local proliferation, so the borderland is being crusial issue that often being dispute subject between two local governments.Conflict has happened between Pemkab Kampar and Pemkab Rokan hulu in struggling five villages status after proliferation with UU Number 53 Year 1999. The five villages are Desa Muara Intan, Intan jaya, Tanah Datar, Rimba Jaya, and Rimba Makmur.The purpose of this research is to know how The Interest Conflict Dynamics Regency Government of Kampar and Regency Government of Rokan Hulu in Struggling Five Villages Status in Borderland and its settlement. The approach of this research is qualitative approach and the type of this research is descriptive.This research’s result is showing that first, UU Number 53 Year 1999 has a weakness because the border was determined without region border in points so it will be definitive and two local government interpret UU Nomor 53 Tahun 1999 and they are entitled to these five villages. Second, Pemprov Riau has facilitated the settlement and has handed it it to the Mendagri. For The implementation of public service in five villages is carried out by the Pemkab in accordance with Permendagri Number 137 Year 2017. Keywords: Proliferation, interests, border

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of organizational culture and employee involvement and its effect on organizational commitment (Case study of medical employees of RSIA Eria Bunda Pekanbaru). This study used a questionnaire as a data collection tool which was distributed to 57 medical employee respondents at RSIA Eria Bunda Pekabaru. The data is then processed using descriptive analysis and statistical analysis using SPSs by performing validity tests, reliability tests, simple linear regression analysis, multiple linear regression analysis, determination analysis (R2), and hypothesis testing with t test (Partial Test) and F test ( Simultaneous test).               The results showed that testing the hypothesis of organizational culture had a significant effect on organizational commitment of medical employees of RSIA Eria Bunda Pekanbaru, job involvement had a significant effect on organizational commitment of medical employees of RSIA Eria Bunda Pekanbaru, organizational culture and work involvement had a significant effect on organizational commitment of medical employees of RSIA Eria Bunda Pekanbaru. Keywords : Organizational Culture, Employee Involvement, Organizational Commitment

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe and explain the implementation of the Child Identity Card Policy in Dumai City. and explain and describe what factors are the obstacles and impetus for the implementation of the Identity Card Policy in Dumai City. This research uses qualitative research. The required data are both primary data and secondary data obtained through observation, interviews and documentation and then analyzed based on research problems. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the Minister of Home Affairs Regulation Number 2 of 2016 concerning Child Identity Cards has been going well. Supporting the implementation of Permendagri Factor Number 2 of 2016 concerning Child Identity Cards, namely the existence of great motivation to maintain performance, then supported by community participation, developing human resources, and information technology that is able to support program implementation, while the obstacle is when there is interference network that causes the completion is not in accordance with the specified timeKeywords: Implementation, Minister of Home Affairs Regulation No. 2 of 2016, Child Identity Card

Abstract

Pekanbaru City has great potential in increasing the tourism sector. This is one of the great assets for the government to develop tourism here. Currently, the Pekanbaru City Culture and Tourism Office has created a tourism development program for this area which aims to brand tourism so that it can become an icon in the region. One of the tourist destinations that is being developed is the Okura Tourism Village. Okura Tourism Village is a village that has culture, natural beauty, and community activities that can be a special attraction for tourists who come to visit. This study aims to determine several stages of destination branding carried out by the Pekanbaru City Culture and Tourism Office in developing the Okura Tourism VillageThis study uses a qualitative method. The research subjects were 6 people. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique is by reducing the data, presenting the data, drawing conclusions, and evaluating using the technique of checking the validity of the data, namely triangulation.The results showed that the Pekanbaru City Disbukpar implemented five stages of destination branding in developing the Okura Tourism Village. First, mapping the market potential, namely developing the potential of Malay Culture in Okura Tourism Village and identifying current community trends. Then take advantage of the technological factor, develop a tourist attraction. Second, create a brand identity, namely the name of the tourist destination, Okura Tourism Village. Third, promote through the website, and social media., as well as establishing good relations with the community. Fourth, establish participation with stakeholders, including travel agencies, Pokdarwis, and several hotels. Fifth, monitoring, evaluation, and review, such as monitoring complaints and suggestions from visitors, either directly or through social media, followed by an evaluation process to make improvements to improve the tourism aspect of Okura. keywords: Tourism communication, Tourism Object Development, Destination Branding

Abstract

This study aims to determine how big the influence of employee placement, work incentives on employee job satisfaction at the Mental Hospital Tampan Provinsi Raiu. The sample in this study was taken as many as 72 respondents and the technique used was census. The data in this study used a survey method through questionnaires filled out by employees. Data obtained using simple regression analysis and multiple regression analysis. The results of this study show that employee placement has a significant effect on employee job satisfaction. And simultaneously the placement of work incentives has a significant effect on employee job satisfaction. Subsequent research is recommended to use other methods in examining employee job satisfaction, for example through in-depth interviews with respondents. Keywords: Employee Placement, Work Incentives, and Employee Job Satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to determine teh response of family heads to early marriage in the village of Bantayan, Batu Hampar District, Rokan Hilir Regency. The formulation of the problem in this study was to see how the family heads responded to early marriage couples in Bantayan Village. This study uses descriptive research with a quantitative approach. This data collection technique uses observation and questionnaires, taking samples in this study using simple random sampling. Thye results and discussion of this study is the massive public response to early marriage, the village of Bantayan, Batu Hampar Sudistrict, Rokan Hilir Regency, which means the community’s response to early marriage the Bantayan District of Batu Hampar, Rokan Hilir Regency is good.  Keywords: response, head of family, early marriage
