Abstract

The number of illegal immigrants in Indonesia continues to increase from year to year. In 2019, UNHCR Indonesia has recorded as many as 13,900 illegal immigrants registered as asylum seekers. Tanjungpinang City is one of the areas targeted for the entry of illegal immigrants because the busy Riau Islands sea route is used for international trade flows. Therefore, this study will examine the role of the Tanjungpinang City government towards illegal immigrants in 2016-2019.This study used qualitative research methods. Sources come from books, journals, official documents and official websites from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Directorate General of Immigration, and the Immigration Detention Center as well as interviews with related agencies. This study uses a pluralist perspective with the level of analysis of the state and nation. The theory used is the role theory of K.J Holsti.This study explains how the role of the Tanjungpinang City government in dealing with illegal immigrants in their area in 2016-2019. In carrying out government affairs with the principle of regional autonomy, the Tanjungpinang City Government forms a Pora Team and coordinates with relevant agencies in the field of supervision and temporary shelter as well as the security of illegal immigrants.Keywords: Government Role, Indonesian Policy, illegal immigrant, Asylum Seeker.

Abstract

The Singapore Tourism Board (STB) is a legal entity under the Singapore Ministry of Trade and Industry. Development of Singapore's tourism sector, one of the service sectors and the country's main economic pillar, and conduct marketing and promotion of Singapore as a tourist destination. Singapore is stepping up its services to Muslim travelers with a major campaign to be launched. The purpose of the study is to explain and find out the development of halal tourism by the Singapore government to attract Indonesian Muslim tourists. The research method used is qualitative by connecting the causes and effects that occur using library research techniques. This study collects data through secondary data.The results of this study can be concluded that these places to eat get certification from MUIS (Majlis Ugama Islam Singapore). Tourists can easily visit Halal places to eat all over Singapore. In addition, there are also many mosques and prayer rooms throughout Singapore for visitors to worship while on vacation. This guide provides useful information for holidays in Singapore. The Singapore Tourism Board (STB) announced that it will be working with booking platform Have Halal Will Travel (HHWT) and research firm CrescentRating on a range of tourism products and marketing assurance targeting of Muslim Travelers across Asia.The STB with CrescentRating that details not only halal dining offerings in Singapore, but also the hidden cultural activities and local Malay entrepreneurs and business owners that tourists can discover, said Fazal Bahardeen, CEO of CrescentRating & Halaltrip.  Keywords: halal tourism, Singapore, Indonesian Muslim tourists

Abstract

Essay this aim for knowing how role Unit Police Civil Service Administration (SATPOL PP) on the sale of alcoholic beverages in the District Pangkalan Kerinci, Pelalawan Regency and the obstacles or obstacles experienced Satpol PP in Supervision of Alcoholic Drinks in Pangkalan Kerinci District districts Pelalawan. Drink alcoholic could bother peace and order general, this is Duty from Unit Police civil servant Soldier for maintain peace and order common in society.This study uses a qualitative approach and the type of descriptive data. The data used in this research are primary and secondary data, primary data through interviews with several sources and secondary data in the form of documents document or data which Writer take in office Satpol PP related drink alcoholic. Collection data via interview, observation and documentation.The results of the study show that the Satpol PP has carried out its role as a law enforcement officer tasked with maintaining peace and order general wrong the only one drink alcoholic to public in districts Base Kerinci districts Pelalawan, However from results raid which conducted there are still many stalls/kiosks selling alcoholic beverages to the public with evidence of the findings of alcoholic beverages, every Satpol PP conducts raid. This is due to community factors, law enforcement and the law alone. Abstract

Security issues in international studies have expanded from the initial focus on the military to non-traditional security issues. One of the non-traditional issues that have major impact on the country and global society is drug trafficking. Pakistan has become one of the locations for widespread drug trafficking because it is located in the Golden Crescent region which is one of the world's drug-producing locations. The drug problem affects the social, economic and health of the Pakistani population. As an effort to overcome these problems, Pakistan is under the supervision of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) which handles transnational crimes such as drug trafficking. This study used the perspective of Pluralism with the level of analysis of country groups. The theory used in this research is the International Organization Theory. The qualitative method in this study used secondary data sourced from websites, official reports and documents, journals, books and news. This study showed that the cooperation carried out by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) in Pakistan taken place because Pakistan cannot handle the problem of drug trafficking alone. The role played by the UNODC organization in dealing with the problem of drug trafficking in Pakistan is as an initiator: initiating Country Program II, initiating cooperation with Japan and Denmark, and as a facilitator: building security infrastructure, providing aid tools for law enforcement and facilitating Triangular Initiative cooperation.Keywords: United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, Drug Trafficking, Drugs, International Organisation

Abstract

Purchasing decisions are an important part of the product marketing concept, this is the background of this research. Implementing the right marketing mix and good service quality in front of consumers are part of the factors supporting consumer purchasing decisions. This strategy is applied by Agung Toyota Air Molek. This study aims to determine the effect of Marketing Mix Implementation and service quality on purchasing decisions at Agung Toyota Air Molek. The method used in this research is descriptive and quantitative, with the data source of this research coming from primary data obtained through the interview process and distributing questionnaires which were then tested statistically through the SPSS program and secondary data using sales data of Agung Toyota Air Molek products starting in 2016-2020. The analytical method used in this research is simple and multiple regression analysis, and through validity and reliability tests. In this study the results obtained are that the marketing mix (X1) has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions (Y), service quality (X2) has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions (Y), and the marketing mix (X1) and service quality ( X2) has a positive and significant effect on Purchase Decision (Y) at Agung Toyota Air Molek.            Keywords: Marketing Mix, Service Quality and Purchase Decision.

Abstract

This research was conducted at Selatpanjang Hospital which is located on Jalan Dorak Selatpanjang. The purpose of the study was to determine and analyze the effect of career development and organizational commitment on morale partially and simultaneously. The research method used is descriptive quantitative analysis obtained from the results of questionnaires distributed to 117 respondents to non-medical employees of RSUD Selatpanjang, which is then processed with the SPSS program by conducting validity tests, reliability tests, simple linear regression analysis, multiple linear analysis, analysis of determination (R2) and test the hypothesis by testing t (partial) and F (simultaneous). The tests conducted showed that career development had a positive and significant effect on morale, organizational commitment had a positive and significant effect on morale, then career development and organizational commitment had a positive and significant effect on morale in non-medical employees of RSUD Selatpanjang.    Keywords: Career Development, Organizational Commitment, Morale

Abstract

This research is focused on the influence of Human Relations and Work Environment on the Work Ethic of employees at PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) Regional I Cabang Dumai. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of human relations and work environment on the work ethic of employees at PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) Regional I cabang Dumai. Human relations and work environment as independent variables (X1, X2) while the work ethic of employees as the dependent variable (Y). The problem in this study is the occurrence of fluctuating employee turnover and employee absenteeism which increases every year.seen from the data on Labor Turn Over and company absenteeism. The sample of this study was taken as many as 62 respondents from the population which was calculated using the Slovin formula. The data obtained from the results of the questionnaire and then processed and then tested statistically through the SPSS program. The data analysis techniques used are validity and reliability tests, simple linear analysis and multiple linear analysis, coefficient of determination, t test and F test. Based on the results of the tests conducted, it shows that human relations and work environment have a positive and significant effect on the work ethic of employees at PT. Abstract

The main problem in this thesis is the absence of Alfamart and Indomaret networked retailers in West Sumatra Province, especially in Tanah Datar Regency while the government does not issue special regulations that discuss the prohibition of the Alfamart and Indomaret netted markets. The purpose of this study was to find out how the dynamics of the agenda setting policy process for the prohibition of the Alfamart and Indomaret netted markets in Tanah Datar Regency in 2017-2018. This research was conducted using a qualitative method with a descriptive approach by interviewing the Koperindag Office in Tanah Datar Regency, the PMPTSP NAKER Office in Tanah Datar Regency, several local retailers and the surrounding community.From the research that the author conducted in the field, it can be concluded that the government of West Sumatra Province, including Tanah Datar Regency, took a policy of prohibiting the Alfamart and Indomaret networked markets by carrying out the dynamics of the agenda setting process regarding the prohibition of the Alfamart and Indomaret netted markets. The dynamics of the agenda setting process is carried out through a three-step process. Among them are the stages of the problem (problem stream) where there are issues about the existence of a net market and the public does not agree with it, which makes the issue hot and becomes a problem that must be resolved by the government. The government's initial policy regarding the establishment of Alfamart and Indomaret was stated in the policy stream. Thus, furthermore, there are actors involved in solving these problems, including government actors, traders, backing actors and community actors as stated in the political stream. So that the three stages meet and a policy window is opened which discusses the final policy chosen. Keywords: Agenda Setting, Prohibition, Net Market

Abstract

This research was conducted at PT. PLN (Persero) for the Air Molek area on Jl. ST. Ibrahim, Candirejo, Pasir Turtle, Indarigi Hulu Regency, Riau. The problem in this study is that employee loyalty at PT PLN (Persero) ULP Air Molek is still relatively low, which can be seen from some employees who are less than optimal at work and indiscipline in carrying out their duties and applicable rules. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of incentives and work motivation on employee loyalty at PT PLN (Persero) ULP Air Molek.In this study, the method used is descriptive and quantitative analysis using the SPSS program. This population is the employees of the Hotel Resty Menara Pekanbaru totaling 50 people. Samples were taken based on the census method or saturated sample, that is, the entire population was used as a sample. Therefore, the sample used in this study was 50 people. Methods of data collection using questionnaires and free interviews. Hypothesis testing using linear analysis methods, simple linear analysis and multiple linear analysis.The research conducted shows the results that for the t-test with the variable giving incentives and work motivation partially significant effect on employee loyalty. And for the results of the F test, it shows that the simultaneous provision of incentives and work motivation has a significant effect on employee loyalty at PT PLN (Persero) ULP Air Molek with an R Square value of 0.448. This shows that the provision of incentives and work motivation has an influence of 44.8% on employee loyalty in the very good category, while the remaining 55.2% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.Keywords: Giving Incentives, Work Motivation, Loyalty

Abstract

Children as creatures created by God Almighty have rights from birth, protection for children is not only carried out by government agencies but should be carried out by all stakeholders, both government, non-governmental institutions, and the community. Violence against children is a very complex issue that occurs in both developed and developing countries such as Indonesia. Pekanbaru City is one of the cities with a large number of cases of violence against children. In Riau Province, Pekanbaru City is also one of the active cities that implement child protection, development and empowerment programs.  The purpose of this study was to determine the efforts of the Office of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection (DPPPA) in the Prevention of Child Violence in Pekanbaru City and to see the inhibiting factors in the agency's efforts. The Office of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection (DPPPA) is one of the Regional Apparatus Work Units appointed to carry out the task of preventing violence against women and children, based on Pekanbaru Mayor Regulation Number 36 of 2016 concerning Protection of Women and Children from Violence. This type of research uses a qualitative approach. The results showed that in carrying out efforts to prevent violence against children by the Office of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection (DPPPA), there was an Integrated Service Unit for the Protection of Women and Children (UPT P2A) Pekanbaru City as a unit that served public complaints regarding violence against children. The inhibiting factor in efforts to prevent violence against children in Pekanbaru City is the budget for services for cases of violence against children in Pekanbaru City, including the lack of human resources that support the services.  Keywords: Violence Against Children, Efforts to Protect Violence Against Children and the Office of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection (DPPPA) Pekanbaru City.
