Abstract

Consumer satisfaction is an important part of the product marketing concept. This is supported by the quality of service and good corporate image in front of consumers which are part of the supporting factors for customer satisfaction. This study aims to determine the effect of service quality and corporate image on consumer satisfaction at PT. Nusantara V Pekanbaru Plantation. The sample of this research are 50 respondent by census method. The method used in this research is comparative causal (Ex Post Facto) which is a method to determine the relation between cause and effect with the data source is coming from primary data obtained through the interview process and distributing questionnaires which were then tested statistically through the SPSS program and secondary data using data on sales of by-products of PT. Nusantara V Pekanbaru Plantation from 2017-2020.The analytical method used in this research is descriptive analysis and quantitative. In this study, the results obtained are that Service Quality (X1) has a positive and significant effect on Consumer Satisfaction (Y), Company Image (X2) has a positive and significant impact on Consumer Decisions (Y), and Service Quality (X1) and Company Image (X2) has a positive and significant effect on Consumer Satisfaction (Y) at PT. Nusantara V Pekanbaru Plantation.Keywords: Service Quality, Corporate Image, and Consumer Satisfaction.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the role of The Pearl Waste Bank and the benefits for the community in Tuah Karya Village, Pekanbaru City. As for the formulation of the problem in this study (1) What is the role of the Pearl Waste Bank in Tuah Karya Village of Pekanbaru City? (2) What are the benefits of Mutiara Waste Bank for the community in Tuah Karya Village of Pekanbaru City? Techniques in data collection in this study are observations, literature studies, questionnaires and documentation. This research was conducted at The Pearl Waste Bank located in Tuah Karya Village, Pekanbaru City with a sample of 78 people using simple random sampling techniques where bank customers who sampled this study. The data analysis technique in this study is quantitative descriptive using SPSS version 23. The results in this study explain what are the role of Bank Sampah Mutiara, namely the role of inviting the public in sorting waste with indicators of 5 statements classified as high, the role of waste banks to produce output (savings) with indicators 2 statements classified as high and the benefits of waste banks, namely benefits for environmental health with indicators 4 statements classified as very useful and benefits for social economic with indicators 3 statements are classified as very useful.  Keywords : Role, Benefits, Waste Bank

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out how transnational crime is on the border of the Meranti Islands-Malaysia and the countermeasures carried out by the local government and officials.               This type of research used by the author used by qualitative research methods, namely descriptive data procedures. Data collection techniques were carried out by using library research methods and interviews with several sources. This study uses books, journals, media, and interviews as a source of support for the research completion process. The perspective used is a constructivist perspective with a group analysis level.               This study explains that the transnational drug crime that occurred on the border of the Meranti Islands-Malaysia. Strategic geographical conditions located on the border and the Malacca Strait, tended security, and poverty rates that make the Meranti Islands one of the gateways for drug smuggling from Malaysia. Smuggling is carried out through direct sea routes and transit routes with the modus operandi of Opera Skip, smuggling and transactions in the early hours of the morning as well as deceiving officers by throwing drug goods into the sea. Weak legal and security measures give the impression of a low effect so that this transnational crime continues.Keywords: Transnational Crime, Drugs, Meranti Islands, Malaysia

Abstract

In the era of globalization that is increasingly advanced and developing, a company or organization must be able to develop human resources, including human resources in hospitals. The object of this research is the Tampan Pekanbaru Mental Hospital, abbreviated as RSJ Tampan. This study aims to determine how much influence job training, job skills, and job promotion have on the work performance of non-medical employees at the Tampan Mental Hospital Pekanbaru. The research method uses quantitative data collection through questionnaires and interviews. The focus of sampling in this study were 83 non-medical employees of the PNS (Civil Service) section at the Tampan Hospital with the Purposive Sampling technique method. The data analysis technique used is simple linear regression analysis and multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS 25. Based on the results of the research hypothesis test, it shows that there is a partially significant effect between job training on job performance, work ability on job performance, and job promotion on job performance. non-medical employees of the Handsome Hospital, then the simultaneous effect of job training, job skills, and job promotions on the work performance of non-medical employees at the Tampan Hospital Pekanbaru. Keywords: Job Training, Job Ability, Job Promotion, and Job Performance.

Abstract

This research is a study of international political economy analysis  on development cooperation between Canada and Indonesia which has been going on for a long time. However, in 2015 a Canadian-Indonesian collaborative project emphasized the role of Indonesian SMEs in gender equality. This project is called the Trade Private Sector Assistance (TPSA) Project, which is Canada's provision of foreign aid to Indonesia. So, this research was conducted to see Canada's background in assisting Indonesia in the form of the TPSA Project and what was produced and achieved from the provision of foreign aid.This study uses the perspective of liberalism, foreign aid theory, the concept of national interest and the level of analysis of the nation state. The research method that is used is the qualitative research that is explanative by collecting data from the official website of the TPSA Project, the website of the Canadian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Global Affairs Canada) and the Ministry of Trade, Transnational Journal, Journal of Development Economics, Journal of World Affairs and Introduction to International Relations Studies, Foreign Aid: Diplomacy, Development, Domestic Politics and International Political Economy and Development books.The results of this study are that Canada has economic and political benefits in Indonesia, namely strengthening Canada's contribution towards the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Indonesian SMEs can meet Canadian import standards for products exported by Indonesian SMEs and expand the Canadian market in Indonesia, thereby increasing Canada's trade with Indonesia and Canada spread its values in the form of aspects of gender equality in Indonesian SMEs and a positive image of Canada in Indonesia and the world.  Keywords        : National Interest, Foreign Aid, Private Sector Development, Gender Equality, TPSA Project, Canada and Indonesia.

Abstract

Terrorism is an act that can threaten the security and sovereignty of all countries, including the United States. The September 11 incident which brought down the World Trade Center (WTC) building triggered the United States to launch a global war against terrorism with various policies in it. The war against terrorism is enough to give rise to new impacts and problems, especially in the issue of human rights and has an impact on the Muslim community. The theory used in this study is a realism approach using the theory of international regimes, where the state is considered the main actor and the most important actor in analyzing politics. And national security is the main issue compared to other issues related to security which dominate towards politics. The research method uses qualitative research with descriptive analysis, with data collection techniques namely secondary data. Through library research techniques (library research). The results of this study show that the United States has committed gross human rights violations at Guantanamo Prison with various forms of torture due to the implementation of the United States version of the clash of cultures and the justification for the pre-emptive strike and pre-emptive self-defense policies that it implements as a form of war against terrorism. Abstract

The Indonesian government has a Forest Moratorium policy that has been in effect since 2011. However, until the moratorium policy was made permanent in 2019, deforestation still occurred in Indonesia, including in areas protected by the moratorium. To understand how an international non-governmental organization Greenpeace has played a role in dealing with forest destruction due to deforestation in Indonesia.                                                                             Based on the theory of the role of international organizations at the level of group analysis with descriptive qualitative research methods, using primary data obtained through interviews, the official website of Greenpeace and related Ministries as well as secondary data from books, journals, and reports related to forest destruction in Indonesia.                                                        The results showed that in dealing with forest damage due to deforestation during the forest moratorium, Greenpeace actively carried out direct forest campaigns on the Mata Harimau Tour in Sumatra and Kalimantan collecting data on the moratorium on forests damaged by deforestation, campaigning online through websites and social media, and opening forest data. the moratorium is reduced due to deforestation, meet with relevant parties to influence the implementation of the moratorium policy so that zero deforestation is realized in Indonesia..Keywords : Forest Moratorium policy, Greenpeace, Deforestation

Abstract

The release of greenhouse gases from burning fossil fuels and other sources is causing temperatures in the Arctic to warm at twice the rate worldwide, resulting in lower sea ice, melting ice sheets and rising sea levels worldwide.The Arctic region has been the main focus of many climate change studies in recent years, both because of the many changes seen in the Arctic. Changes in temperature are the main cause of many changes that occur in the Arctic. WWF worked to ensure that development in the Arctic region did not destroy habitat and established the WWF Arctic Program focusing on the Arctic region. The purpose of writing is to provide general information about the Arctic as an area experiencing ice melt and provide an explanation of the role of the WWF Arctic Program in tackling ice melt in the Arctic.This paper uses the theory of the International Organization in which the actor involved is WWF, where the WWF Arctic Program collaborates with several countries to achieve the overall goal of stopping and repairing environmental damage that occurs in the North Pole. This study also uses descriptive qualitative research methods with secondary sources and data based on books, journals, and online literature such as reports, newspapers, and official articles from WWF.The results of the study indicate that the programs created by the WWF Arctic Program are long-term programs, so that currently no significant results have been seen from these programs. WWF develops standards and planning tools to ensure that the industry's footprint in the Arctic does not burden an already weakened ecosystem while recognizing that northern communities need the economy. WWF is also working to create a rules-based environment, where international rules on how Arctic resources should be managed are agreed upon and enforced. WWF also has a dedicated workflow to reduce the main threat to biodiversity in the Arctic, namely climate change. KeyWords: Arctic, WWF, WWF Arctic Programme, Renewable Energy

Abstract

The legal actions of the dumai city government are the rules or regulations made by the dumai city government in an effort to break the spread of the covid-19 of the 5 (five) legal actions of the mayor of dumai, the mayor of dumai, the city's handbill of dumai, the city government plan of dumai and the city's permission of dumai. The problem with this study is that the increase in the incidence of the covid-19 across the city of dumai, law enforcement that implires jeria has not been effective in enforcing and lack of communication with the city's dumai government, and the lowering of public legal awareness to adhere to health protocol. The purpose of this study is to find out how the legal action of the city's dumai government in breaking the spread of the covid-19.The research approach used is a qualitative approach, this type of research is descriptive. The research location is in Dumai City, precisely at the Health Service, Dumai City Covid-19 Task Force, Dumai City Secretary, Dumai City Satpol PP, Resort Police, and the community especially business actors. And the data collection technique is done by interview and documentation. The results of this study are that the implementation of the Dumai City Government Legal Action in deciding the spread of Covid-19 has gone quite well, this is marked by the decline in Covid-19 cases in Dumai City. However, it is undeniable that there are still obstacles in its implementation, namely the Dumai City Government Legal Action which does not contain sanctions for violators, namely Circulars and the level of legal awareness of the community is still low in complying with health protocols.Keyword: Government Legal Action, Covid-19, Dumai

Abstract

This research was conducted at PERUMDA Tirtauli Pematang Siantar, Jl. Porsea no. 2 Pematang Siantar, North Sumatra. The problem in this study is that employee loyalty at PERUMDA Tirtauli Pematang Siantar is still relatively low, which can be seen from some employees who are less focused at work, or seem not sincere in mobilizing their energy in working in the company, and can also be seen from some employees who are negligent in carrying out their duties. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of organizational culture on employee loyalty at PERUMDA Tirtauli Pematang Siantar.In this study, the method used is descriptive and quantitative analysis using the SPSS program. This population is the employees of PERUMDA Tirtauli Pematang Siantar, totaling 78 people. Methods of data collection using interviews and questionnaires. Hypothesis testing using simple linear analysis and multiple linear analysis.The research conducted shows that the results of the t test with organizational culture and work environment variables partially have a significant effect on employee loyalty. And the F test results show that simultaneously organizational culture and work environment have a significant effect on employee loyalty at PERUMDA Tirtauli Pematang Siantar with an R Square value of 0.703. This shows that organizational culture and work environment have an effect of 70.3% on employee loyalty in the Good Enough category, while the remaining 29.7% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.Keywords: organizational culture, work environment, loyalty
