Abstract

Public interest in Malay arts in the homeland of Malay namely in Riau Province, to be precise in Sungai Apit District, Siak Regency, is experiencing a decline. Malay art is the culture of the Malay community that has always existed and has made the characteristics of the Malay. This research specifically discusses Malay musical art because Malay music has almost disappeared from the homeland of Malay and I personally don't want Malay music to disappear like Malay Arabic writing, which I had studied when I was a child in school. This study aims to determine the community's interest in Malay arts and to analyze efforts for the preservation of Malay arts in Sungai Apit District. This study uses qualitative techniques using observation, interview, and documentation techniques on all activities in the study. The result of this research is to find out the people's interest in Malay arts which can be concluded that the lack of interest of the people in Sungai Apit District cannot be separated from the increasingly modern times. And there are also efforts made by people from various statuses of society. Key Words: Interests, Malay Arts, Culture

Abstract

Belarus has the most comprehensive regulatory framework regarding digital currency, where the regulations is directly issued by President Alexander Lukashenko which contains detailed liberalization of digital money. Given the decentralized nature, anonymity, and complexity of digital money, governments in many countries are having trouble to regulate such technology. Various economic problems of Belarus, such as lack of resources, currency crisis, and continuous economic recession forced the country to take new economic stabilization measures, one of which is regulation of digital money. This writings explains Belarus’s strategy to increase foreign investment through digital money as payment instrument.There are several policies that Belarus has taken in this regard. Firstly to legislate digital money technology, secondly increasing protection for participants in modern financial technology, thirdly giving prioritization and privileges to participants in modern technology; and lastly build a dedicated platform for digital money exchange. Keywords: Belarus, digital money, international investment, policy

Abstract

This research analyzes how the influence of imports of Liberika Meranti coffee commodities by Malaysia and Kedabu Rapat Village with a highdemand rate. This collaboration can provide changes to the economy of the coffee producing factory along with all local communities who are involved in the Liberika Meranti coffee proccesing in Kedabu Rapat Village, as with factory workers, as well as local farmers on a small scale.This research method applies a qualitative method with data collection techniques in the form of triangulation, in which the data collection will be combined into several techniques such as library research, observation, and interview techniques. The perspective of this research uses the perspective of Liberalism by using the theory of Absolut Advantage from Adam Smith.This research shows that the people of Kedabu Rapat who are involved in the Liberika Meranti coffee processing have additional income, so as they are able to change the economic situation through Malaysia's regular demand of around 4-6 tons/month. With the number of requests, the factory opens job vacancies up to 300 people. They find wages according to work placements ranging from IDR 100,000, - IDR 2,000,000 for workers, and IDR 7,000,000/month for local coffee farmers.Keywords: Export-Import Coffee, Economic Growth, Kedabu Rapat Farmers.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the management of working capital of Koperasi Perkebunan Sako Jati Kecamatan Pangean Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi in the 2014-2018 period measured using financial ratio standards. Types and sources of data used in this study are secondary data, namely data obtained from cooperatives, including cooperative financial report data and other data related to research materials. From the results of the data analysis research (1) Analysis of activity ratio with indicators of Total AssetTurnover, Working Capital Turnover, Cash Turnoverand Receivable Turnoverfluctuated and accounts receivable turnover was still very low. (2) Analysis of the Liquidity Ratio with Current Ratio and Cash Ratio indicators are in bad categories and tend to fluctuate. And (3) Analysis of Profitability Ratios with indicators of Profit Margin, Return on Assets and Return on Equity shows an increase in the ratio used during the last five years.Keywords: Working Capital, Activity, Liquidity, Profitability

Abstract

Riau Islands Province is the second gateway for foreign tourists after Bali. Batam City which supports Indonesia from various sectors such as the hotel sector. By providing accommodation, tourists can enjoy a very comfortable vacation. In a hotel, the department that plays a role in providing hotel guests, especially regarding service comfort, cleanliness of the entire hotel area is housekeeping. In this case, HARRIS Resort Waterfront Batam, Riau Islands, develops the comfort that guests get by conducting a survey on service quality. The purpose of this study is to determine the quality of Room Attendant services in improving the services that will be provided to guests. The method used in this study is a quantitative method to find out the results of the survey through observation, distributing questionnaires to respondents/guests who have stayed at the hotel, and based on the documentation of several guests who have provided answers through the questionnaire. Based on the survey and the results of data processing that has been carried out, the authors get the data from the recapitulation results, it can be seen that the total score of Room Attendant Service Quality at HARRIS Resort Waterfront Batam, Riau Islands is 7177 where the results range from a total score of 7140-8500 into the "Very Satisfied" category.  Key Word: Service Quality, Satisfaction, Room Attendant, Hotel

Abstract

This research describes about Indonesia's strategy in increasing  exports of swallow’s nest to Taiwan , which is experiencing an increasing demand due to the return of the principle to functional food. Bird’s nest is made from bird saliva which is considered very beneficial for helath. Swallow’s nest is usually used in making soup and also as an ingredient in medicene.most of the swallow’s nests produced by Indonesia are exported to other countries, one of which is Taiwan.Indonesia and Taiwan have signed many cooperation agreements, both in the economic and socio-cultural fields. One of the coorporation agreements was the signing of the MoU on Morotai Development Project as a follow-up to thw signing of the Letter Of Intent (LOI).The writer collects data from books, academic journals, official documents, theses and sources from the internet related to research issues regarding strategy in increasing exports of swallow’s nest to Taiwan. The writer uses the perspective of liberalism and the level of analysis of the nation state. While the theory used in this theory is the theory of international cooperation. This reserach finds that optimal efforts from the government together with Indonesian stakeholders are needed to be able to increase Indonesian  exports of swallow’s nest to Taiwan while bird’s nest export opportunities in Taiwan are still very wide open Keywords: Requets, Agreement, Increase, Export, Swallow’s nest

Abstract

The informal sector is a business that has a small scale with the aim of getting a job or job vacancy in order to earn income and not under the auspices of the government. This study serves to describe the survival strategy of the ice cane seller in the village of Bukit Pedusunan, Kuantan Mudik District, Kuantan Singingi Regency, where the ice cane seller uses his family members to help sell so that they no longer hire employees, increase working hours, and look for crowds in trading so that their needs life can be fulfilled. In addition, they also save on expenses, save the rest of the trade, and add to the network. Good network with sugarcane suppliers, fellow sellers, with buyers, and with the surrounding community. This research uses descriptive qualitative research method. Data collection techniques using observation, documentation, and in-depth interviews. The results of the research obtained, the researchers said that even though they only sell sugarcane ice on the sidewalk, they can still survive and meet the needs of their families and the cost of education for their children.  Keywords: Informal Sector, Survival Strategy, Family Needs

Abstract

Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV) is a serious and prolonged case in Syria. This phenomenon also involves armed people and even people of high rank and position. The world's international organizations, both IGOs and NGOs, have tried to help solve the problem of violence based on gender. This paper will describe how the strategy of the European Center for Constitutional and Human Rights (ECCHR) was successful in punishing two Syrian officials who committed gross human rights violations. Qualitative research is applied to answer the strategy used by ECCHR through secondary data. Documents from books, official publications such as the ECCHR annual report, journals, twitter, and articles from news worthy of trust. The theory of the Transnational Advocacy Network from Margaret E. Keck and Kathryn Sikkink will be used to analyze the strategies applied. The results showed that the strategies of Information politics, Symbolic Politics, Leverage Politics and Accountability Politics had been used. ECCHR and its partners conduct criminal complaints in German courts using the principle of international jurisdiction. Abstract

This research describes Indonesia's efforts to increase cinnamon exports to Singapore. There was a decline in Indonesian cinnamon exports to Singapore in 2018-2020, which was 1,034,806 USD in 2018 decreasing to 799, 412 USD in 2019 and in 2020 to 788, 829 USD. The decline was influenced because there are still obstacles related to the quality standards of cinnamon produced by Indonesia. Indonesian cinnamon in meeting export demand has not been of high quality due to the fact that cinnamon still contains remnants of insects/dirt, fungi or herbicide residues. Cinnamon plantation area in Indonesia also tends to decrease. The decrease in land area is influenced by people who harvest cinnamon by harvesting tilled or clear cutting and the transfer of land functions which can result in the number of cinnamon trees decreasing. The author collects data from books, academic journals, theses, and sources from the internet related to research issues regarding Indonesia's efforts to increase cinnamon exports to Singapore. The author uses the perspective of pluralism and the level of analysis of the nation state, while the theory used in this study is the theory of comparative advantage.This research shows that Indonesia's efforts to increase cinnamon exports are carried out through improving the quality of Indonesian cinnamon by establishing quality standards and releasing superior varieties, increasing the quantity and quality of Indonesian spices, utilizing Indonesian trade representatives in Singapore and promoting Indonesian spices such as the use of digital platforms and the Trade Expo Indonesia trade show.  Keywords: Indonesian Cinnamon Export, Indonesia Export to Singapore, Indonesian Spice Trade, Cinnamon Spice, Cinnamon Industry.

Abstract

This study analyzed the level of academic integrity of class XI MA Muhammadiyah Pekanbaru. The formulation of the problem is how to describe the academic integrity of class XI MA Muhammadiyah Pekanbaru students? Thus this study aims to determine the description of the academic integrity of XI class MA Muhammadiyah Pekanbaru. The research design was descriptive. This type of research is qualitative. The research sample was determined as many as 20 students and 6 teachers MA Muhammadiyah Pekanbaru. The data were obtained by collecting interview and documentation techniques. The results of the analysis show that overall, academic integrity in class XI MA Muhammadiyah Pekanbaru is categorized as good. Where it can be seen from the results of the research that the integrity of the value of mutual trust in class XI MA Muhammadiyah Pekanbaru can be categorized as good, besides that the value of honesty, mutual respect and responsibility value in class XI MA Muhammadiyah Pekanbaru can be categorized as quite good, then regarding the value integrity justice where students have received justice well accompanied by appreciation for the assessment is important for the formation of trust between teachers and students so that it can make students highly valued. Keywords: Program Implementation, PMBRW
