Abstract

Indonesia is the second largest nickel producer countries in the world after Russia. Nickel is a strategic raw material for the battery industry for electric cars, stainless steel, and others. This reasons led Indonesian government to take a different policy from the previous one by exporting in raw one. This research explained the reasons why Indonesian government stop for exporting nickel ore.This qualitative research used secondary data sources from books, journals, news from magazines and newspapers, official documents from the Indonesian government, and websites. To explain the reasons for the export ban, the author utilized a nation-state analysis with a mercantilism perspective, and the theory of economic nationalism.The results showed that the reason for this prohibition policy to increase strategic values, politically and economically. Politically, this policy is a countermeasure to increase bargaining power over discrimination against palm oil commodities by the European Union. Economically, the better nickel prices in the global market after the ban on nickel exports. Abstract

The f&b promotion mix and its implementation at Grand Central Hotel Pekanbaru are more focused on discussing the f&b promotion mix at Grand Central Hotel Pekanbaru. Identify and describe the implementation of the food and beverage promotion mix at Grand Central Hotel Pekanbaru. This study uses a descriptive (qualitative)  method,  according  to  Sugiyono  (2008)  “is  an  analytical  method based on post-positivism philosophy, used to examine natural objects, the researcher as the key instrument. The results of his research emphasize meaning rather than generalizations. The reason the author chooses the qualitative method is considering that this method is quite capable of explaining things that include a collection  of  data  obtained  from  interviews  with  language  that  is  easy  to understand and understand. Grand Central Hotel Pekanbaru's promotional strategies are Advertising, personal selling, direct marketing, publicity and sales promotion. Of the five promotional strategy steps that have been carried out by Grand Central Hotel Pekanbaru, researchers see and feel that the promotion of Food and Beverage through advertisements on social media is the most attractive to guests or consumers. according to Philip Kotler, namely advertising, personal selling, direct marketing, publicity and sales promotion. The Food and Beverage Promotion  Strategy  carried  out  by  Grand  Central  Hotel  Pekanbaru  is  quite effective and gets a positive response from guests or consumers and is able to increase hotel profits. Keywords : Promotion mix, food and beverage, hotel

Abstract

Indonesia is the owner of the largest palm oil commodity in the world. This can be seen from the size of the plantation area and the export value of Indonesian palm oil which is increasing every year. Therefore, several countries entrust Indonesia as a producer of CPO as a derivative of palm oil.Cooperation in improving the economy is a national interest. This cooperation can be in the form of trade carried out by Indonesia to various countries. In this study, the authors collect data through literacy such as books, magazines, newspapers, journals, articles and web pages. This study uses a way of analyzing a reading to get an understanding that is in accordance with the research. The method used by the author in this study is a qualitative method. This method tends to analyze a problem by collecting data and information through books, newspapers, articles, journals, and other reading materials that can be used as sources of information.This research focuses on Indonesia's interest in exporting CPO to China in 2018-2020 which is an effort to stabilize and improve the Indonesian economy. This effort can be seen from the increase in CPO exports by improving the quality of palm oil and its processing in Indonesia, which will have a good effect on CPO exports to China. Besides being able to stabilize and improve the country's economy, this can also strengthen Indonesia's relations with China. Keywords: economy, palm oil, export

Abstract

This study examines the teacher’s strategy in delivering learning during the Covid-19 pandemic at SD N 005 Senapelan sub-distric, the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020 in Indonesia, this has an impact on various institutions, educational institutions in particular, whose face-to-face learning system must change to an online learning system as ordered by the government for mutual safety in order to reduce the chain of spread of the Covid-19 outbreak. Everything is done from home, including elementary schools, having to learn from home using various existing technology systems, this is a challenge for a teacher who has to find a way to convey material to students as usual. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documents. Data analysis is descriptive qualitative, the research subjects needed from this research are classroom teachers and parents of first, third, and sicth grade students. The results of the study show that classroom teachers at SD N 005 Kecamatan Senapelan sub-district convey learning when the online system uses mobile phones, and uses WhatsApp, zoom, goole meet, xrecorder applications, each teacher has a different strategy or method of delivering and using learning applications. Evaluate each sub-theme and see students’ understanding through the assignments given. Keywords : Seacher Strategy, Online Learning, Evaluation

Abstract

This study aims to explain the limitations of South Korea in its oil energy resources which can be fully utilized to meet the needs of its industrial level. South Korea is not an oil producing country, the maximum it has ever managed to produce from the Donghae-1 natural gas field through the efforts of the Korea National Oil Corporation (KNOC) is only 1,000 b/d of ultra-light crude oil. (condensate), as a substitute for a negligible portion of the total oil consumption of 2.4 million b/d per day. How it has managed to feed growing giants such as Hyundai, LG, Daewoo, GoldStar, KIA, and Samsung among other high energy consumption industries over the years, is worth knowing. A more interesting part of this effort is South Korea's ability to export refined petroleum products such as sulfur diesel, kerosene and others in intermediate distillates including, gasoline, and jet fuel to countries such as Vietnam. Alternative energy sources such as electricity, biofuels, natural gas and unrelenting investment in exploration and production across all continents of the world remain a secret.This study uses the concept of international cooperation and the theory of Foreign Direct Investment, as well as using data collection techniques through document analysis or analyzing secondary data, such as books, journals, reports, and websites, the theory used explains how international cooperation and how foreign direct investment is running.Keywords:: KOREA SELATAN, KNOC, KOGAS, JCPOA, NIOC, NIGC, IRAN, DOPCO, KEPCO.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of capital structure and profitability on stock prices in automotive and component companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016-2020 partially and simultaneously. Where the independent variable in this study is the capital structure and profitability while the dependent variable is the stock price. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling technique and obtained as many as 7 companies. The data in this study uses secondary data, namely financial statements. The data analysis used is financial ratio analysis, descriptive statistical test, multiple linear regression analysis test, coefficient of determination test, and hypothesis testing using SPSS 24. From the results of the analysis of hypothesis testing, both partially and simultaneously, it shows that the capital structure and profitability variables have an influence on stock prices in automotive and component companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016-2020.Keywords: Capital Structure, Profitability and Stock Price

Abstract

This research was conducted at PT. Ekaputra Prada Indonesia, located on Garuda Sakti Street, Simpang Baru, Tampan, Pekanbaru, Riau. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of service quality and crm on customer satisfaction  at PT. Ekaputra Prada Indonesia partially and simultaneously. In this research the method used is quantitative descriptive analysis with SPSS program. The population in this study are all consumers who purchase the product at PT. Ekaputra Prada Indonesia in the last year of 2020 totaling 59 consumers. Where the samples in this study are consumers of PT. Ekaputra Prada Indonesia as many as 59 respondents. To determine the sample using the Census Method. Data collection techniques through questionnaires and interviews, types and sources of data using primary data and secondary data, measurement collection techniques using a Likert scale.From the analysis of data which includes validity, reliability, simple linear regression analysis, multiple linear analysis, determination analysis and significance test with t test (partial test), and f test (simultaneous). The results of this study indicate that the results of the first t test hypothesis testing, service quality on customer satisfaction is t arithmetic (7.972)> t table (1,67203) means that service quality has a significant effect on customer satisfaction. Second, the crm on customer satisfaction is t arithmetic (8.069)> t table (1.67203) means that the crm significantly influences customer satisfaction. The f test results of service quality and crm have a significant effect on customer satisfaction, namely f arithmetic (45.157)> Ftable (3.16). This means that service quality and crm simultaneously have a significant effect on customer satisfaction at PT. Ekaputra Prada Indonesia. Keywords: Service Quality, CRM, Customer Satisfaction

Abstract

The efforts of SES Germany in implementing the Indonesia-Germany Cooperation in the field of Vocational Education in Indonesia. The purpose of this study is to explain; first to know the Indonesian-German Cooperation in the field of Vocational Education, the second to know more about German SES and its movements in Indonesia, third to know the efforts of German SES in implementing the Indonesia-Germany Cooperation in the field of Vocational Education in Indonesia. Germany is a developed country that has been recognized. Vocational education there is very good and has been optimal, even the economy in Germany is still stable due to the hard work of its citizens who have character and have great potential in every skill they have. For that reason, Germany is said to have succeeded in educating graduates. Vocational education.This research is based on the perspective of liberalism, for the level of analysis using groups of individuals to understand the role of one group with other individuals in a particular field, and the theory of Non-Profit Organizations. Collecting data sourced from official websites such as the Indonesian-German Embassy website, the German SES Organization website, and ministries related to research as well as interviews with several parties, for secondary data collected from several news websites, journals, and books published related to the title of the researcher.The results of the research regarding the efforts of SES Germany in implementing the Indonesia-Germany Cooperation in the field of vocational education in Indonesia, namely, SES has helped vocational education in Indonesia through educational institutions from Vocational Schools, Vocational Schools to Polytechnics by providing socialization through workshops, understanding vocational education through training, and communication, effectively facilitate the implementation of the Indonesia-Germany cooperation agreement between Germany SES and Indonesian educational institutions and curriculum proposals. Abstract

The protracted conflict between Israel and Palestine, resulted in a lot of damage, destruction and crisis of human rights. Therefore, many non-state actors have emerged to provide assistance to victims of the conflict in Palestine, especially for children. one of the international organizations that is active in providing assistance is UNICEF. Which in this case UNICEF helps realize children's rights by carrying out the role of UNICEF in dealing with children victims of the conflict in Palestine.The theoretical framework used in this study is the Pluralism Perspective using the International Organization theory, where UNICEF as an International Organization helps in providing children's human rights that they should get. The research method used in this study is a qualitative research method with research data collection techniques, namely primary data including official data from the UNICEF website and secondary data, namely data obtained from books, journals, media, and websites.The results of this study indicate that UNICEF has the responsibility to protect children and their basic rights which have been written in the convention on children's rights and the role of UNICEF both the initiator role, namely UNICEF in collaboration with various international communities such as collaborating with the Ministry of Health and WHO in the health sector. for children, infants and nursing mothers, UNICEF also collaborates with UNRWA in building schools and shelters and UNICEF collaborates with government and non-governmental organizations such as the education department, UNRWA, and local non-governmental organizations in implementing the program (PBEA). UNICEF also has a role as a Facilitator, one of which is investing in water treatment technology throughout the supply chain and UNICEF has a role as a Mediator, namely Monitoring Israel and Palestine to comply with the Convention on the right of the child (CRC). Keywords: UNICEF, Children Victims of Conflict, Palestine, Pluralism, International Organization Theory.

Abstract

This research analyzes the influence of the Korean Wave on Tokopedia's marketing strategy in Indonesia in 2019-2020. The Korean Wave has become a global phenomenon that can't be separated from the role of non-state actors in the process of spreading it. BTS is one of the actors from the Korean Wave who is categorized as a global artist and brings a positive message to several young people. This Korean Wave phenomenon was then used by several companies, one of which was Tokopedia. In 2019, Tokopedia officially appointed BTS as the brand ambassador who will carry the brand image of Tokopedia. According to Tokopedia, BTS has a shared vision and can help convey Tokopedia's message to the world. This received good reception and support from several fans.This study uses a qualitative method, with data collection through literature studies sourced from several books, journals, articles, and websites. This study uses the perspective of Economic Liberalism and the theory of Economic Globalization. The results of this research indicate that the influence of the Korean Wave on the marketing strategy of Tokopedia has increased sales at Tokopedia. Based on the data obtained, Tokopedia experienced an increase in the frequency of order volume by 109.3%, an increase in transactions by 81.1%, and an increase in sales volume by 133% with the majority of sellers consisting of MSMEs. In addition, Tokopedia experienced an increase of 5 million visits and as many as 5,000 items were sold every minute at the ‘Waktu Indonesia Belanja’ event which was filled with BTS as brand ambassadors and several well-known idol groups from South Korea. The Indonesian government also supports Tokopedia to help MSMEs to be able to enter the international market.Keywords: Korean Wave, Marketing Strategy, Tokopedia
