Abstract

As a serious step in implementing e-government in Indonesia, Tanjungpinang City is accelerating development by utilizing information technology to develop Tanjungpinang smart city which includes the dimensions of smart branding. Of course, in realizing smart branding, the Tanjungpinang City Government has carried out various government communications to realize smart branding through various programs designed to realize smart branding. The purpose of this study is to find out how government communication is carried out by the Tanjungpinang City Government to realize smart branding and what are the factors that hinder government communication. The research approach used is a qualitative approach. This type of research is descriptive. The research location is in Tanjungpinang City, precisely in the offices of several stakeholders who are authorized to realize smart branding. The types and sources of research data are divided into primary and secondary data with data collection techniques through interviews and secondary data in the form of supporting data relating to the realization of smart branding. The results of this study are that government communication carried out by the Tanjungpinang City Government in realizing smart branding in Tanjungpinang City in 2019 - 2020 can be seen through four elements consisting of attribute, message, differentiation, and ambassadorship. However, the government communication seems ineffective because it has not been able to meet the indicators of the effectiveness of government communication from a professional perspective, namely the availability of formal rules, financial resources, and competent and skilled human resources. Abstract

This research was conducted at the Bagan Punak Rokan Hilir Health Center, located in Bangko District, Bagan Readyiapi, Rkan Hilir, Riau. Employees are operational supporting factors that carry out all activities. An increase in the number of violations can have a negative impact, namely the occurrence of obstacles in achieving organizational goals. The high level of violations can be an indication that the lack of discipline and work experience of medical employees causes the low performance of medical employees at the Bagan Punak Health Center. In this research, the method used is descriptive quantitative method with SPSS program. Due to the number of population members below 100 people, all members of the population were used as research respondents, as many as 42 people. Hypothesis testing uses simple linear analysis and multiple linear analysis by showing the results that work discipline and work experience have a significant effect on employee performance. By calculating the coefficient of determination (R2) simple discipline on employee performance obtained R square value of 0.565 or 56.5% and work experience on employee performance obtained R square value of 0.507 or 50.7%. Calculation of the multiple determination of work discipline and work experience on employee performance obtained an R square value of 0.635 or 63.5%. This shows that the percentage contribution of work discipline and work experience variables on employee performance is 63.5% while the remaining 36.5% is influenced by other variables that the researcher did not include in this study. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of work discipline and job satisfaction on the performance of nurses at Eria Pekanbaru Mother and Child Hospital. In this study, the method used was a quantitative approach and used analytical tools, namely SPSS version 23. The respondents in this study were nurses at the Eria Pekanbaru Mother and Child Hospital as many as 76 people. Furthermore, the results obtained are that there is a positive and significant influence between Work Discipline (X1) and employee performance (Y), Job Satisfaction (X2) has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance (Y), as well as Work Discipline (X1) and Job Satisfaction (X2) has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance (Y) Eria other and Child Hospital Pekanbaru. Abstract

Circulation of expired food products is still a big problem for Pekanbaru City. This study was conducted to determine the supervision carried out by the Center for Drug and Food Control in Pekanbaru on the circulation of expired food products in Pekanbaru City. The research was conducted using qualitative methods with descriptive research type. This study uses Manullang's theory of supervision by setting standard measuring instruments, conducting assessments and taking corrective actions. In this study, the data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. These results indicate that the supervision of the circulation of expired food by the Food and Drug Supervisory Center in Pekanbaru is still not going well due to the lack of guidance to business actors and the public, legal sanctions that have not been firm, the number of employees and the number of operational vehicles, and the lack of community participation. in monitoring the circulation of expired food products in Pekanbaru City. Therefore, in the context of optimizing the supervision of the circulation of expired food by the Center for Drug and Food Control in Pekanbaru, it is necessary to improve guidance for business actors and the public, provide strict legal sanctions, increase the number of human resources and increase the number of operational vehicles. Abstract

Sports and Recreation Park facilities (TORR), are facilities for the public to do sports and recreation, but currently many sports and recreation park facilities are no longer suitable for use, many are damaged, have holes, the grass is high and some are missing. the grass and the saddest thing near the goal is used for selling. The electric light is off, the toilet is open, there is no roof and there is no water, the garbage is scattered, etc. For this reason, the problems that can be raised are: 1). What is the visitor's perception of the sports and recreation park facilities and 2). What factors cause this sports park facility is not managed properly. The theory used to answer the problem is (Haryadi & Setiawan, 2010) the core of the theory is that perception must be viewed contextually, must receive attention and have different individual experiences. The research method used is descriptive quantitative method, using the census method, and accidental sampling and cross tables, with the data collection technique: Questionnaire. The results of the discussion on the Perceptions of Sports and Recreation Park Visitors (TORR) stated that the complete and still functioning facilities were Basketball and Jogging, the rest were lacking or even incomplete and lacking or not functioning. Then it can be analyzed that the visitor's perception of the treatment is poor and not good, this is due to the non-existent budget factor. The Pekanbaru City Government should provide a routine budget for field maintenance operations and make policies on cleanliness and tidiness in the sports and recreation park (TORR) environment. The conclusion is that the visitor's perception of the sports park facilities is not good or even not good, because the budget factor is not there or not budgeted. Abstract

Large tonnage trucks are goods transportation that carry large amounts of industrial products such as mining, plantations, and so on. The number of trucks with large tonnage crossing the streets in Pekanbaru city is increasing every year. The large tonnage truck violates the provisions in the Pekanbaru Mayor's Decree Number 649 of 2019 concerning the Pekanbaru City Goods Transport Line. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the traffic policy of large tonnage trucks. The research method used in this study is a descriptive research method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The results of this study indicate that the traffic policy for large tonnage trucks based on the Mayor's Decree Number 649 of 2019 concerning the Pekanbaru City Goods Transport Line has not gone well according to its objectives, namely regarding routes and hours of traffic for large tonnage trucks when viewed from the 6 policy evaluation indicators from William Dunn, which is an indicator of the effectiveness of the traffic policy for large tonnage trucks, has not worked well, because there are still large tonnage trucks passing through city roads. Indicators of efficiency, Pekanbaru City Transportation Service, Pekanbaru Police Traffic Unit and Pekanbaru City Public Works and Spatial Planning Office have a budget in carrying out policies. The adequacy indicator has not run optimally, because the Pekanbaru City Transportation Service is rarely found monitoring large tonnage trucks at guard posts and the lack of availability of traffic signs prohibiting large tonnage trucks from passing certain roads. The equity indicator has been running well, because several large tonnage trucks that have violated have been given sanctions. The responsiveness indicator can be said to be going well, because there are people who make complaints or provide information about the existence of large tonnage trucks passing through city roads. The accuracy indicator is correct, because this policy was made to create order, security and comfort in traffic. Abstract

This study aims to explain how Tiongkok's strategy to containt the astropolitical domination of the United States. This is an action-reaction form of the United States boycott of Tiongkok in cooperation in the field of space technology development. In 2011, the United States banned all forms of space cooperation with Tiongkok, this policy was triggered by the testing and development of anti-satellite weapons (ASAT) conducted by Tiongkok in 2007. These weapons tests coincided with the rise of Tiongkok's capability to develop space technology both for peaceful purposes or for militarization purposes that could threaten the dominance of the United States in this field. This study uses a neorealism perspective and explained by the level of analysis of the nation state, in this case, between the United States and Tiongkok. This study uses strategic theory which is considered to be able to explain how Tiongkok's steps can containt the domination of the United States itself. The data that the author collects as a reference in compiling this research comes from books, journals, articles, websites, news sites, publications, and previous research. With the development of cutting-edge technology such as 'Tiangong' space station, exploration of the outer planets, deep space observation technology, and the development of space weapons, Tiongkok can be said to have been able to match the power of the United States as one of the pioneers of space technology, for the better, all the technology developed by Tiongkok is relatively done independently. Abstract

This study illustrates the role of ECPAT Indonesia in overcoming child sex tourism in Indonesia. Child Sex Tourism is a fundamental violation of children's human rights in the form of sexual violence committed by adults. There are several causes and impacts caused by Child Sex Tourism in Indonesia. In response to this, the role of international organizations, such as ECPAT, is needed. Some of ECPAT Indonesia's efforts in order to overcome this phenomenon are carried out together with fellow network members, the community, and the government through advocacy, prevention, protection, and cooperation activities. The method used in the researcher is descriptive analytical with a qualitative approach. Also, using the concepts of Prostitution, Sex Toursim, and Child Sex Tourism in explaining sexual activities in the tourism industry. This research also uses Clive Archer's International Organization concept, which is as an independent arena, instrument, and actor. The role of ECPAT Indonesia in overcoming child sex tourism in Indonesia is divided into three categories. First, as an arena, ECPAT Indonesia plays a role as a place for discussion in solving problems and as a bridge of communication between tourism stakeholders. Second, as an instrument, in this case ECPAT Indonesia plays a role as a tool used by the government in carrying out international cooperation. Third, as an independent actor, ECPAT Indonesia is able to become a pioneer in child protection policies from sexual exploitation, especially in tourist areas. Abstract

The local government of the Meranti Islands Regency is responsible for the development of sago plantations in the area, the problem of this research is the local government's commitment to the development of sago plantations in 2010-2020. The Meranti Archipelago Regency, which is one of the largest sago producers in Indonesia, still lacks plantation development. This study aims to find out how the implementation of the Meranti Islands Regency government's commitment to the development of people's sago plantations in 2010-2020, and to find out what are the inhibiting factors of the government. The research approach used is an approach approach and this type of research is descriptive. The location of this research was conducted in Meranti Archipelago Regency, data collection was done by interview and documentation. The results of this study are that first, the implementation of the commitment to developing sago plantations has not been maximized, it can be seen from the administrative coordination and policy coordination that has not been successful, so that there is still sago produced that has not been maximized. rejected due to lack of clarity and too large a budget. Environmental policies and external environmental policy programs for the development of smallholder sago plantations are legally weak, stemming from the bupati's regulations regarding the main duties and functions as well as a description of the duties of the forestry and plantation service of the Meranti Islands Regency. Abstract

During this pandemic, entertainment venues are one of the places that have the potential to gather crowds of people, with large crowds of people causing an increase in the spread of the Covid-19 virus. The existence of Karaoke entertainment in the city of Pekanbaru many violations that occurred during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study aims to determine the supervision of karaoke businesses by the Pekanbaru city government during the 2020 (Covid 19) pandemic. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach with a type of descriptive research. The location of this research was carried out in karaoke entertainment in Pekanbaru City, with data collection techniques carried out by interviews and documentation. The results of this study are that the supervision carried out by the Covid-19 Task Force is still weak on the supervision of karaoke entertainment during the new normal period of the Covid-19 pandemic in Pekanbaru City and the implementation of standard health protocols by entertainment managers. There are several factors that influence it, including the quality of human resources, the lack of awareness of karaoke business owners, and the lack of budget factors. In the implementation of supervision, it has been running but is still not optimal, there are still violations of health protocols at karaoke entertainment venues during the new normal period of the Covid-19 pandemic in Pekanbaru City.
