Abstract

Tanjung Village is a village located in one of the districts in Riau, namely Meranti Islands Regency, precisely in the city of Sealtpanjang which is quite famous and has the potential to become a tourist destination for the Meranti people. Telaga Air Merah Village focuses on managing the reservoir so that water tourism is definitely the main choice. Many Meranti residents spend their time off work to unwind at Telaga Air Merah, especially teenagers who enjoy capturing Instagrammable pictures. This research aims to see how promotions are implemented through digital media used by the management and the Telaga Air Merah tourism awareness group. In addition, it aims to find out what obstacles are faced by the management in this research using a qualitative descriptive method. The concept of this research uses Management theory. In collecting data, researchers used interview techniques, observation, literature study and documentation using key informants and supporters as sources of data information. The results of the research show that the implementation of promotions through digital media at the Telaga Air Merah tourist attraction still needs a lot of improvement, especially in the field of introducing digital media promotions. This is proven by the implementation not running as it should in the management of the tourist attraction. Abstract

In the era of technological change occurring in the world of education, face-to-face learning carried out in schools suddenly underwent a very drastic change to become online learning. Sungai Apit 01 Public High School will start carrying out face-to-face activities again in February 2021, the start of face-to-face activities requires school students to carry out 3M and take part in the covid-19 vaccination, so there is a need for a role with persuasive communication carried out in order to maximize the program being held . So this study aims to see the credibility of persuaders, the form of messages, the media used by SMA Negeri 01 Sungai Apit and the effect of persuasive teacher communication in providing information and education. This study used a descriptive qualitative research method with a purposive technique in which the informants consisted of school principals, members of the Covid-19 team, homeroom teachers, teachers, students of SMA Negeri 01 Sungai Apit and parents/guardians of SMA Negeri 01 Sungai Apit. Collecting data using unstructured interview techniques, non-participant observation and documentation. The data analysis technique used Miles and Huberman's interactive data model by validating the data using extended participation and triangulation techniques. The results showed that the teachers of SMA Negeri 01 Sungai Apit had the credibility of the persuader, namely, first, the expertise in which the persuader was an education expert, and had gained knowledge about the co-19 vaccination. Second, it can be trusted, where the persuader in conveying the message refers to the health rules and has already carried out the vaccination. The form of the message produced is in the form of a verbal message which includes elements of clarity, straightforwardness and accuracy, as well as nonverbal which shows a style of language that is impressively simple so that it is easy for you to understand and accept. With the media used several media, namely social media in the form of Facebook, Instagram and websites. Outdoor media in the form of billboards and banners. As well as the effects received by students, namely cognition: students observe, see, pay attention to the school in providing information and education. affective: the feeling that students want to take part and be interested in the co-19 vaccination program. conation: students see posters and banners and are moved to vaccinate, there is no coercion from the teacher and the school, learn to receive vaccinations. Abstract

The obligation to fulfil human rights is a duty of a State. Human rights are the legal rights of every human being of a universal nature. The human rights issue is growing with the high rate of globalization and then there is a pervasiveness of gender minorities in this case: Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender (LGBT). Many LGBT groups in Indonesia have suffered from violence, discrimination and human rights violations, and this is happening because in Indonesia there are no LGBT regulations. In this issue UNDP provides assistance to the LGBT community in Indonesia, through the Being LGBT in Asia program UNDP strives to address inequalities, violence, stigma and discrimination based on a person's sexuality and gender identity. This research uses a qualitative method with a secondary data source, the library research. Abstract

The room is one of the main products in a hotel, therefore the cleanliness of the bedroom alone is not enough to support it. The bathroom also in a room must also be considered cleanliness, neatness, comfort, and completeness so as to create a quality hotel room. This research method uses qualitative methods, by making observations at Harris Resort Waterfront Batam, interviewing staff at the Housekeeping Department, and taking some documentation as an overview of the research. From these data collection techniques, it is produced how porsedur sets aside and prepare, as well as what obstacles are contained in the process of cleaning the bathroom at Harris Resort Waterfront Batam. From the human resources and knowledge contained in Harris Resort Waterfront Batam, this supports the resolution of existing problems and is able to implement procedures very well. Abstract

This research examines the development of South Korea's cultural industry after the 1990s economic crisis, particularly in relation to Indonesia. It explores how South Korea successfully integrated its culture with North Korea, leading to the global phenomenon known as the Korean Wave. The South Korean government played a crucial role in advancing the cultural industry as part of its soft power and public diplomacy strategy. This study adopts a qualitative approach with the theoretical framework of transnationalism perspective and public diplomacy theory. Secondary data were collected through literature reviews from various sources, including books, journals, online articles, and mass media. The findings show that the Korean Wave has captured the attention of nearly all Asian, American, and European countries, including Indonesia. The Korean Wave has had a positive economic impact on South Korea, contributing to the country's Gross Domestic Product (GDP). Moreover, it has opened up cultural cooperation opportunities between South Korea and Indonesia. The Indonesian Wave has started to emerge in South Korea with the introduction of Indonesian K-Pop and K-Drama. South Korea actively promotes its culture in Indonesia through bilateral cooperation and cultural events. The popularity of K-Drama and K-Pop in Indonesia has influenced the culture and lifestyle of its people. Consequently, the post-economic crisis development of South Korea's cultural industry has had a positive impact on the bilateral relationship between South Korea and Indonesia through the Korean Wave. The South Korean cultural industry has become an effective tool of public diplomacy to strengthen relations with other countries. Abstract

This research aims to determine the handling of guest complaints at Fox Hotel Pekanbaru Room Service. This research uses a qualitative method with a qualitative descriptive approach to describe and explain the situation that occurred by collecting data and information in the field. The key informants in this research are the Food and Beverage Manager, Food and Beverage Supervisor and Room Service employees. In this research, the data collection techniques used were interviews, observation and documentation. Based on the research results, it can be concluded. aspects of Handling Guest Complaints in Room Service are in line with standard operational procedures listed in the hotel itself. This dissatisfaction comes from the poor service or facilities available at the Room Service. In accordance with the types or categories of existing complaints, complaints at Room Service Fox Hotel Pekanbaru are mostly found in the form of Mechanical Complaints, Atitudinal Complaints, Service - Related Complaints and Unusual complaints. Many guests complain about the lack of friendliness of waiters and waitresses in Room Service or the lack of hospitality of waiters and waitresses, such as not smiling and rarely greeting guests. Then regarding the lack of facilities and infrastructure in Operational Room Service, food is given too late during in-room delivery, it takes too long to deliver food to room service and the food served is not appropriate. Abstract

Dumai City is one of the twelve regencies/cities in Riau Province. Where the city of Dumai is located at position 01º 23'00" - 01º 24'23" North Latitude 101º23'37" - 101º28'13" East Longitude. With an area of 1,727.38 Ha and a water area of 71,393 Ha. The location of Dumai City which is on the coast makes Dumai City a disaster-prone area. Law No. 24 of 2007 concerning Disaster Management, a disaster is an event or series of events that threatens and disrupts people's lives and livelihoods caused either by natural factors or non-natural or human factors, resulting in human casualties, environmental damage, loss of property and psychological impacts. Natural disasters are disasters caused by nature, including earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanic eruptions, floods, droughts, hurricanes and landslides. This study uses the theory of elements of coordination. Coordination is an element of the orderly arrangement of group efforts to create commonalities of action in pursuit of common goals. Coordination includes Internal Coordination and External Coordination. The elements of coordination as stated by James D. Money consist of Agency Effort, Unity of Action, Common Purpose. The results of this study indicate that the Dumai City Regional Disaster Management Agency has carried out coordination with good to all agencies related to the natural flood disaster that occurred in 2021. However, there are several obstacles, namely differences in institutional status which are further obstacles, the lack of facilities and infrastructure is also an obstacle for the Dumai City Regional Disaster Management Agency. Abstract

Tanjung Medan Village has a BUMDes which operates in the field of selling goods and services. Tanjung Medan BUMDes was initially formed on December 18 2019. According to the mandate of PERDA Number 5 of 2019 concerning the establishment of BumDes, Kuansing Regency, article 16 explains that BumDes must at least develop and have a profit of at least 10 % and the last 2 years. However, in this village it is not running and does not fulfill these benefits. The aim of the research is to find out and analyze what factors influence the failure of BumDes Mandiri management in Tanjung Medan Village, Cerenti District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. This research uses the theory of Good Governance, which has been well known in Indonesia since the 1990s. This research method is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The data sources used are primary and secondary data. The data collection technique used was through interviews and documentation. The research results show that the failure of the Mandiri Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDES) in Tanjung Medan Village, Cerenti District, Kuantan Singingi Regency in 2019-2020 has not gone well, this is due to a lack of communication between the village government and BUMDes management. This is due to a lack of awareness of BUMDes management which has never received guidance from its directors or members from either the province, district or village government itself. This research concludes 2) The obstacles that occurred in Mandiri Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDES), Tanjung Medan Village, Cerenti District, Kuantan Singingi Regency in 2019-2020, namely not implementing the principles of good governance due to a lack of understanding of both the BUMDes Director and its members and no efforts by the village government to This resulted in failure in running a business entity in the village. Abstract

The study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC) in tackling the use of chemical weapons by the Syrian Arab Republic regime during the period 2017-2023. Although Syria joined the CWC in 2013 and destroyed most of its chemical weapons supplies under the supervision of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), incidents of chemical use continued to be. The research uses qualitative methods with document analysis, OPCW reports, UN documents, journal articles, and news reports as primary data sources. The CWC's effectiveness in preventing the use of chemical weapons in Syria remains limited, and more coordinated international efforts as well as increased investigation and law enforcement capacity are essential. This research uses a qualitative method, with data collection techniques through literature studies sourced from several books, journals, articles, websites. This research uses the perspective of Constructivism, the theory of International Regime Effectiveness and the Level of System Analysis. The results of this paper identify that the effectiveness of the CWC has achieved many successes since its implementationDespite the challenges, especially in the context of Syria's compliance in implementing the CWC in Syria. The CWC remains an important instrument in the global effort to eliminate Chemical Weapons and prevent their future use. Keywords: Chemical Weapons Convention, Syria, Effectiveness, OPCW.

Abstract

This research aims to find out about Indonesian diplomacy from the implementation of the Jakarta Fashion Week event to promote woven batik. This research was written using the group level of analysis, cultural concepts, diplomacy theory by Nicholas J. Cull which states that diplomacy can be done in various ways. Diplomacy itself is an art in leading and providing policies towards one's country. The data collection technique in this research uses a literature review which takes references from various existing sources. Apart from that, we also adopt from literature in the library that is directly seen and read. This research was also compiled from various sources, such as journal articles, and others, making this research one in writing. From the results of this research, it can be concluded that Indonesia's diplomacy through the Jakarta Fashion Week event in promoting woven batik can be said to be successful. Because if you look at the data, batik sales in Indonesia and the international market have reached their target. However, special attention needs to be paid so that the development and sales of woven batik in Indonesia continue to increase.
