Abstract

The phenomenon that lately occurs and entrenched in the environment of Indonesian society in general and in particular in the District of Kerumutan, Pelalawan Regency, which considers that talking harshly, berating, yelling, scolding, threatening to children is normal. But parents should be able to give good examples to children by using language or words that are good and right. This condition can occur where parents do not really understand and do not know that the verbal ability possessed by parents in communicating with children will be directly absorbed by children and form a sustainable behavior.Results Self-concept owned by teenagers in Kec. Kerumutan Kab. Pelalawan is influenced by significant others. Where, adolescent self-concept in Kec. Kerumutan Kab. Pelalawan is a negative self-concept that is the type of social comparison and Biased scannin. The negative self-concept of social comparision type is of the view that it is indeed like what is said by others so that the view of itself really looks irregular because the self-concept formed is influenced by others. While the negative self-concept is Biased scannin type. Shown from the attitude of adolescents that he tends to feel unliked by his parents and feel unnoticed. Reflected Appraisal states that a person's self-concept will be formed if he gets an award from someone else. Where, the giver of appreciation and the amount of appreciation received by a person will determine the degree of self-concept that is formed. Appreciation from people who are considered important to someone (significant others such as: parents, friends, relatives, etc.) also provide a very big influence on the development of self-concept.

Abstract

Teluk Pambang Village has an attraction with the. Mangrove. .forest ecosystemmin the form of views of the physical environment of waters, rivers and expanses of mangrove vegetation, flora and fauna which are currently being managed as tourist destinations. The .purpose of the researchs is to reveal.. the management .of communication in the development of the village's creative economy. Through ddescriptive qualitativey .methods, the dataa was collected through observation, and interviews with the. mangrove ecotourism management team. The results show that integrated management through various communication resources in the context of effective communication can have an impact on improving the community's economy independently, through the process of planning, implementing, and controlling various elements of communication accordingg to the goals that have been set. The forms of. ccommunicationn in achievingg goals is adjustedt to the character of the local community, through various socialization, mentoring and counseling activities that have used information and technology media. Although the community is aware that tourism has the potential to independently improve the community's economy, it has not yet been implemented properly, there is still room for improvement in each region based on an integrated development approach.

Abstract

Batik Bono is relatively new in the world of textile design in Indonesia. In 2013 a batik gallery was opened as a producer of bono batik with the brand "Batik Bono" in promoting or introducing products can be done through marketing communications. However, in reality bono batik does not just appear in the minds of consumers. Therefore, the company needs to know the marketing communication strategy that needs to be done so that the marketing is effective and the expected target can be achieved optimally. The purpose of this study is to find out how the Segmentation, Targeting, and Positioning of Rumah Batik Andalan in promoting Batik Bono and to find out how the Marketing Communication Strategy of Rumah Batik Andalan PT RAPP in Promoting Batik Bono relates to online advertising, sales promotion, personal selling and event marketing in promoting bono batik. This type of research is qualitative with the presentation of descriptive analysis. The research subjects are the Chairperson, Employees and Consumers with purposive techniques. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis using the Miler and Huberman models. Furthermore, for the Data Validity Check Technique using participation extension and triangulation. The results of this study indicate that the segmentation of Batik Bono is from the upper class such as government officials, companies, academics and organizations. Targeting, namely the government and academics, and Positioning, namely those who have unique patterns and motifs, and have isenan in every Bono batik cloth and use premium materials and the workmanship is handmade. The marketing communication strategy carried out is through online advertising (advertising online) using Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp. Sales promotions are carried out in the form of price discounts and give aways and quizzes. Personal selling is done in the form of presentations to consumers regarding the product being promoted. Abstract

The broadcasting industry is making various efforts in the face of the digital era. Like RRI Pro 2 Pekanbaru which converged media and turned into digital radio. RRI Pro 2 Pekanbaru requires broadcasting management, especially in planning in managing company resources to make changes. Where planning is the first step in broadcasting management which includes goal setting activities and preparing plans and strategies that will be used to achieve the goals of RRI Pro 2 Pekanbaru. This research uses qualitative research methods with research subjects, namely employees and listeners determined by purposive techniques. Data collection is carried out by observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques use Miles and Huberman models. And the technique of checking the validity of the data using triangulation. The results showed that the planning of RRI Pro 2 Pekanbaru in facing existence in the digital era by setting strategic plans and operational plans so that it can achieve company goals. The strategic plan of RRI Pro 2 Pekanbaru is to mediamorphose into digital radio and converge media by providing multiplatform-based services to make it easier for listeners to access RRI Pro 2 Pekanbaru broadcasts anywhere and anytime. Then the operational plan of RRI Pro 2 Pekanbaru is adjusted to the format that has been set by the RRI Pusat with the segmentation area carried out in short-term planning meetings to see the progress of broadcast programs and long-term planning to measure broadcast programs as well as the implementation of broadcasting activities off air, on air and live streaming. Abstract

Aek Martua Waterfall is a tourist attraction in Rokan Hulu Regency which can be used as a tourist attraction in Riau Province. The purpose of this study is to determine the strategy of selecting communicators, composing messages, selecting media and determining audiences. This study used qualitative research methods . The subjects in this study numbered six people with a purposive technique, namely by selecting informants who were considered to know and could be trusted to become data sources. Data collection techniques consist of observation, interviews and documentation. While the data analysis technique is by reducing data, collecting data, presenting data, drawing conclusions and evaluating using data validity checking techniques, namely the extension of participation and triangulation. The results of this study indicate that the communication strategy carried out by the Tourism and Culture Office of Rokan Hulu Regency in attracting tourists to Aek Martua Waterfall in Rokan Hulu Regency is to determine communicators who have credibility and extensive knowledge about Aek Martua tourist destinations, as for strategies in compiling message is to convey informative messages while in the media selection strategy, the Tourism Office uses social media Instagram, Facebook and Youtube, then in determining targets or audiences, the Tourism and Culture Office does not determine criteria because Aek Martua Waterfall tourism can be visited from all walks of life both young and old. Abstract

The Indonesian Drum Band Association (PDBI) organization is under the auspices of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Indonesia. In Riau Province, there are only 4 districts and cities that have active PDBI management, namely Bengkalis, Meranti Islands, Rokan Hilir, and Pekanbaru City. There are around 500 units of marching bands under the auspices of PDBI Riau Province such as Dang Merdu Marching Corps, Marching Band Bahana Cendana Kartika Duri and Rumbai Units, Drum Corps Sang Surya, Andam Dewi Marching Band, Marching Band Gita Wibawa Praja, and others. PDBI forms a drumband unit that is focused on becoming drumband athletes. The purpose of this research is to find out the methods used during the training process, the credibility of the coaches of drumband athletes, and to find out what obstacles are experienced in the training activities of drumband athletes. This research uses qualitative research methods. The subjects in this study were the head of the organizational field, coaches, and athletes selected by purposive technique. Data collection techniques consist of observation, interviews, and documentation. While the data analysis technique uses interactive analysis according to Miles and Huberman. The data validity technique used in this research is the extension of participation and triangulation. The results showed that the coach's instructional methods in training are divided into command methods, practice/practice methods, and training methods with friends. The credibility of the coach can be seen from the experience, achievements, certificates achieved, and the athlete's trust in the coach. Instructional communication barriers in athlete training are differences in schedules for each athlete, lack of resources to facilitate training, and time adjustments with different athlete activities. The results of this study can be a reference material for the drumband PDBI Riau Province to be able to improve the discipline of its athletes.

Abstract

The Pekanbaru South Tangkerang Gojek Driver Community (GTS) is one of the first Gojek Driver communities in Pekanbaru, not only being the first community, this community is also the main target of the Pekanbaru Police Chief. As well as getting a special program directly from PT. Gojek Indonesia is domiciled in Pekanbaru, namely the Healthy Gojek Pekanbaru Program. GTS is also active in social activities and also holds regular Community meetings every month. Some of these aspects made researchers interested in examining how communication patterns exist in the Pekanbaru Gojek Driver Community in South Tangerang (GTS) in maintaining group solidarity. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method. The research subjects here are the Heads and Members of the South Tangerang Gojek Driver Community (GTS) Pekanbaru using purposive sampling and accidental sampling techniques. This study uses data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. To achieve the validity of the data in this study the authors used the source triangulation technique. The results of this study indicate that the pattern of communication that exists in Gojek Tangkerang Selatan is multidirectional communication (all channels), where interaction in this community involves more than two people who exchange ideas dialogically. The Communication Pattern Network of the South Tangerang Gojek Driver Community (GTS) Pekanbaru in Maintaining Solidarity is in accordance with all communication networks.

Abstract

In the era of technological change occurring in the world of education, face-to-face learning carried out in schools suddenly underwent a very drastic change to become online learning. Sungai Apit 01 Public High School will start carrying out face-to-face activities again in February 2021, the start of face-to-face activities requires school students to carry out 3M and take part in the covid-19 vaccination, so there is a need for a role with persuasive communication carried out in order to maximize the program being held . So this study aims to see the credibility of persuaders, the form of messages, the media used by SMA Negeri 01 Sungai Apit and the effect of persuasive teacher communication in providing information and education. This study used a descriptive qualitative research method with a purposive technique in which the informants consisted of school principals, members of the Covid-19 team, homeroom teachers, teachers, students of SMA Negeri 01 Sungai Apit and parents/guardians of SMA Negeri 01 Sungai Apit. Collecting data using unstructured interview techniques, non-participant observation and documentation. The data analysis technique used Miles and Huberman's interactive data model by validating the data using extended participation and triangulation techniques. The results showed that the teachers of SMA Negeri 01 Sungai Apit had the credibility of the persuader, namely, first, the expertise in which the persuader was an education expert, and had gained knowledge about the co-19 vaccination. Second, it can be trusted, where the persuader in conveying the message refers to the health rules and has already carried out the vaccination. The form of the message produced is in the form of a verbal message which includes elements of clarity, straightforwardness and accuracy, as well as nonverbal which shows a style of language that is impressively simple so that it is easy for you to understand and accept. With the media used several media, namely social media in the form of Facebook, Instagram and websites. Outdoor media in the form of billboards and banners. As well as the effects received by students, namely cognition: students observe, see, pay attention to the school in providing information and education. affective: the feeling that students want to take part and be interested in the co-19 vaccination program. conation: students see posters and banners and are moved to vaccinate, there is no coercion from the teacher and the school, learn to receive vaccinations. Abstract

Revolusi komunikasi mengiringi industri pariwisata dapat selaras memanfaatkan strategi promosi melalui sarana digital demi kemudahan akses pemenuhan kebutuhan tersier manusia. Tim pengabdian membidik potensi wisata Kecamatan Kuok Kabupaten Kampar layak untuk dikembangkan kearah digital dengan mengutamakan kesiapan pokdarwis khususnya desa belimbing. Kabupaten Kampar merupakan salah satu kabupaten penyumbang utama potensi wisata di Riau. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode ceramah dan diskusi dengan mengundang masyarakat pemilik home industri kuliner dan terutama Pokdarwis. Kesiapan sumber daya manusia dan stimulasi dari terapan e-tourism saat ini ditawarkan agar potensi wisata memberikan efek positif yang menyatu dengan peluang kerja dan peningkatan ekonomi masyarakat tempatan. Kecanggihan aplikasi augmented reality, pembuatan akun media sosial, web desa, dan bekerjasama dengan aplikasi sejalan dengan industri pariwisata baik nasional maupun mancanegara. Tentu saja sinergi dan kontrol antara pokdarwis, masyarakat dan aparatur desa perlu dijaga guna terpeliharanya kemandirian industry pariwisata desa meskipun demikian tetap diperlukan pendampingan bagi desa guna dalam menjalankan publikasi dan pengelolaan industri tersebut.

Abstract

The presence of information technology has had an impact on changes in all aspects of Indonesian society's life, especially in the learning process. There are several learning strategies that teachers/lecturers can use in the technological era, including developing models, innovating and evaluating learning using digital media. With this technology era learning strategy, it is hoped that lecturers/teachers and students will find it easier to learn. This research aims to find out how to explore the combination of technology with learning strategies. This research method uses a systematic and iterative approach to gather a comprehensive understanding of topics related to technology, exploration of a combination of learning strategies. The conclusion of this research is that several effective learning strategies that involve technology are visualization, cooperative learning, and the use of technology in the classroom.
