Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of financial performance proxied by profitability, solvability and activity ratio.Good corporate governance, exchange rates and inflation to financial distress in manufacturing companies basic industry chemical sector listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2013-2017. The population in this study amounted to 65 manufacture companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange with sampling techniques using purposive sampling obtained by 40 companies.The analytical method used is regression logistic analysis with process using SPSS Version 25. The results show that Profitability has a positive and significant effect on financial distress, Solvability does not have a positive significant effect on financial distress, Activity ratio does not have a positive significant effect on financial distress, Good Corporate Governance does not have a positive significant effect on financial distress, Exchange Rate does not have a positive significant effect on financial distress, Inflation does not have a negative significant effect on financial distressKeywords : Financial Performance, Good Corporate Governance, Exchange Rate, Inflation and Financial Distress.

Abstract

This study aims to determines the influence of Third Party Funds (TPF), Non Performing Loan (NPL), and Inflation to MSME Credit Distribution on Banks in Riau Province period 2014.QI-2019.QIV. The data used in this study are quarterly data from 2014 to 2019. The analytical method used is descriptive quantitative and analyzed with multiple linear regression model of Ordinary Least Square (OLS) approach using the tools of the computer statistical program Eviews version 10. The research results obtained are TPF, NPL and inflation together (simultaneously) affect the distribution of MSME Credit with a significance level of 5%. Partially, TPF have a positive and significant effect on MSME Credit Distribution, Inflation have a negative and significant effect on MSME Credit Distribution, while NPL has a negative and not significant effect on MSME Credit Distribution. Variations of factors that affect MSME Credit Distribution are explained by the TPF, NPL, and inflation together have an effect of 83,48% (adjusted R2 = 0.8348) while the remaining 16,52% is explained by other variables not included in this study.Keywords: TPF, NPL, Inflation, and MSME Credit Distribution

Abstract

This research aims to know at Islamic banking literacy in Strata-1 students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Riau, to know the inclusion of Islamic banking in Strata students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Riau, and to know the relationship between banking literacy and inclusion syariah for Strata-1 students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Riau. This research used Slovin techniques and simple random sampling, so 100 samples were selected. The analytical method used in this research is quantitativee descriptive method and Pearson correlation analysis with the help of SPSS statistical tools. 24. The results of this study indicate that Islamic banking literacy in Strata-1students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Riau is in the sufficient literate category, namely 74,61%, the inclusion of Islamic banking in Strata-1 students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Riau is at medium category by 54%, and based on the test based on what has been done it can be seen that there is a significant positive relationship between Islamic banking literacy and Islamic banking inclusion.Keywords: Islamic banking literacy, Islamic banking inclusion.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to find out the effect of compensation, work environment, and job satisfaction on employee performance at PT Arvena Sepakat Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu. The population were 50 employees with saturation sampling. The data used in this study was primery data and the data analysis was multiple linear regression analysis with employee performance as the dependent variable and three independent variables are compensation, work environment, and job satisfaction. The result of the study found that : 1) Compesation has significant effect on the employee performance 2) Work environment has significant effect on the employee performance 3) Job satisfaction has significant effect on the employee performance.Keyword : Compensation, Work Environment, Job Satisfaction, Employee Performance

Abstract

This research was conducted at the Riau Provincial Education Office. The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of Organizational Commitment, Competence and Work Discipline on Performance either partially or collectively on Riau Province Education Office Employees. The population in this study were all employees of the Riau Province Education Office, while the sample in this study were 143 representatives of the Riau Province Education Office employees who had been randomized. The data analysis technique used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study conclude (1) there is a significant and positive direct influence between Organizational Commitment on the performance of the Riau Provincial Education Office Employees, (2) there is a significant and positive direct influence between Competence and Performance of the Riau Provincial Education Office Staff, (3) There is a significant direct influence between Work Discipline on Performance in Riau Province Education Office Employees, and (4) there is a significant influence between Organizational Commitment, Competence and Work Discipline together on the Performance of Riau Provincial Education Service Employees, with the magnitude of the influence is 43.8%, while the remaining 56.2% is influenced by other variables.Keywords: Organizational Commitment, Competence, Work Discipline and Performance

Abstract

This study aims to look at the effect of quality management implementation on employee performance in Payakumbuh healt centers. The population in this study includes all employee at healt centers, totaling 312 people. The sample taking technique was using purposive sampling so obtained sample of 175 respondents. The dependent variable (Y) in this study was employee performance the independent variable is customer focus (X1), education and training (X2), continuous emprowerment (X3) amd teamwork (X4). The analisys method was multippled regression linier berganda. For data processing was using SPSS 23. The results showed that There significant effect of customer focus on the employee performance, there significant effect of education and training on the employee performance, there significant effect of continuous emprowerment on the employee performance and there significant effect of teamwork on the employee performance.Keywords : quality management, customer focus, education and training, continuous emprowerment, employee performance

Abstract

This research aims at finding out the analysis process of decision making of online consumer on Bukalapak site in Pekanbaru.The population of this research is the site of Bukalapak in Pekanbaru. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigage the influance of transformational leadership style, government apparatus competence and clarity of budget targets on the performance accountability of government agencies with internal control as a moderating variable (empirical study on OPD in Pekanbaru city). The population in this study were all regional apparatus organizations of Pekanbaru City. The sample in this study amounted to 43 OPD with 129 respondents.The sampling method used in this study was saturated sampling technique, while the data processing method used in this study was the analysis of structural equation modeling (SEM) using the WarpPLS version 6.0 software.The results of study show that (1) transformational leadership style affects performance accountability with a significant value of 0.043 (<0.05). (2) the competence of government officials has a significant effect on agency performance with a significant value of 0.021 (<0.05). (3) Clarity of budget affects the accountability of agency performance with a significant value of 0.034 (<0.05). (4) control can strengthen the relationship of transformational leadership style to performance accountability with a significant value of 0.040 (<0.05). (5) Internal control strengthens the relationship between apparatus competence and performance accountability with a significant value of 0.001 (<0.05). (6) Internal control strengthens the relationship between the clarity of budget targets on performance accountability with a significant value of 0.001 (<0.05).Keyword : Leadership Style, Competence, Clarity Of Budget Objectives, Accountability, Internal Control

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of previous audit opinion, management change, public ownership on auditor switching and auditor reputation on auditor switching. The population of this study were 18 real estate & property companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2014-2018. The type of data used is documentary data, namely research data in the form of financial reports that have been published from 2014-2018. The method of analysis used in this research is logistic regression analysis. The results showed that the audit opinion had no effect on auditor switching, which was evident from the significance value of 0.506> 0.05. Management change has no effect on auditor switching which is evident from a significance value of 0.695> 0.05. Public share ownership has no effect on auditor switching as evidenced by a significance value of 0.734> 0.05). Audit reputation has no effect on auditor switching which is evident from a significance value of 0.731> 0.05.Keywords: Previous Audit Opinion, Management Change, Public Ownership and Auditor Reputation Against Auditor Switching

Abstract

This study aims to determine the market structure, conduct and performance of the bread and cake industry in Pekanbaru City. The population in this study were all bread and cake industries in Pekanbaru City with a total sample of 24 breads and cakes selected by the census method. The data used are secondary and primary data. Secondary data were sourced from the Pekanbaru City Industry and Trade Office and the Pekanbaru City Central Statistics Agency (BPS). Primary data were obtained from questionnaires. The data analysis method used is the Structure - Conduct - Performance approach theory. The variables used are market share, concentration ratio, Herfindahl Hirschman Index, capital labor ratio and price cost margin. The results of research on bread and cakes in Pekanbaru City had the highest market share of 13.715% while the lowest market share was 2.376%. The bread and cake industry in Pekanbaru City is a monopolistic market structure. The results of the analysis of the working capital ratio of the bread and cake industry in Pekanbaru City are capital intensive. The result of the performance of the bread and cake industry in Pekanbaru City is that profits are not influenced by market control. the results of the average PCM value of 8.416%.Keywords: Food industry, Market Share, IHH, CLR, PCM
