Abstract

Every human being lives by their own views and ideologies.Their demonstrate what they believe by their attitudes and lifestyle that they adopt. One of the more developed ideologies of society is Hedonism.For large communities, Hedonism is defined as extravagant, squandering, and just thinking about earthly happiness which leads to negative behavior. One form of negative behavior from hedonism is Compulsive Buying. Compulsive Buying is an act of persons in the purchasing of goods not on account of their need, but for gratification of their overindulgence, chronic and repeated desires with weak control as a form of negative feelings or to alleviate negative feelings, with adverse consequences. This study aims to identify the profound effects of factors which affecting compulsive buying behavior and hedonism of Sneakers Nike user on the Student of Faculty Economics & Business of Riau University. The primary data was collected with structured questionnaires and interviews as instruments in verifying research results. The research was using 116 students as responders with Non-Probability Sampling techniques. The method used was Explanatory Research with data analysis, classical assumptions, hypothetical test and Path Analysis as lines of data testing and aided by 23rd version of SPSS application in data processing. The result of this study indicate that the variable of Fashion Orientation and Self Esteem affect to Compulsive Buying and Hedonism, both directly and indirectly. And only the variable of Money Attitude has negative influence on Compulsive Buying and Hedonism, both directly and indirectly.Keywords : Fashion Orientation, Money Attitude, Self Esteem, Compulsive Buying Behavior, Hedonism.

Abstract

Skin crackers are one of the processed food industries that are quite popular in the community. Apart from cultural factors, the majority of the population likes skin crackers, another factor is the existence of cowhide waste in the Slaughterhouse which is the main ingredient for abundant skin crackers and facilitates the production of crackers. leather in Pekanbaru City. In analyzing the number of requests for skin crackers in Pekanbaru City, there are many factors that influence the demand. In this study, there are 3 factors that become independent variables in the analysis of the demand for skin crackers in Pekanbaru City, including income (X1), taste (X2), and the price of skin crackers (X3). Meanwhile, the dependent variable is demand (Y). The method used is multiple linear regression analysis, namely the partial regression test (t test), simultaneous coefficient test (F test) and the coefficient of determination (R2). The results of this study are based on statistical testing of the partial regression equation, namely the independent variable income (X1), taste (X2) and price (X3) have a significant effect on the dependent variable, namely the demand for skin crackers in Pekanbaru City. Based on the regression equation simultaneously, it shows that income, taste and price have a significant effect on the demand for skin crackers. Meanwhile, based on the coefficient of determination (R2) shows that the independent variable has an effect of 71.1% on the demand for skin crackers, the remaining 28.9% is influenced by other variables not included in this regression model.Keywords: Demand, Income, Taste, Price

Abstract

The rapid development of the culinary business in Indonesia has resulted in increased and tighter competition in the culinary business. It requires culinary businesses to develop and innovate the products offered according to the need and desires of consumers. One of the café that has innovated their product is Warunk Upnormal Pekanbaru. The purpose of this research is to examine the influence of Product Innovation, Store Atmosphere and Word Of Mouth on Purchasing Decisions and Customer Satisfaction at Warunk Upnormal Pekanbaru. The analysis technique used is path analysis and supported by sobel test. The number of samples taken is 100 respondents using purposive sampling method. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires. Based on the result of the research found that Product Innovation Variables, Store Atmosphere and Word Of Mouth has a significant effect on Purchasing Decisions, Purchasing Decision has a significant effect on Customer Satisfaction, and Product Innovation Variables, Store Atmosphere and Word Of Mouth has a significant effect on Customer Satisfaction through Purchasing Decision.Keywords : Product Innovation, Store Atmosphere, Word Of Mouth, Purchasing Decision, Customer Satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Supply Chain Management on competitive advantage and company performance at Eria Bunda Mother and Child Hospital Pekanbaru. The population in this study includes employees of the logistics, marketing and general departments of Rumah Sakit Ibu dan Anak Eria Bunda Pekanbaru, totaling 106 people with a sample of 84 people. Primary data were collected with a questionnaire as an instrument to prove the results of the study, to test the hypothesis in this study using PLS (Partial Least Square) analysis with the help of the SMARTPLS program. The sample chosen in this study were 84 employees associated with the logistics, marketing and general departments. The results showed that: 1) there was a positive and significant effect of Suppy Chain Management on the performance of the Rumah Sakit Ibu dan Anak Eria Bunda Pekanbaru. 2) there is a positive and significant effect of Suppy Chain Management on the competitive advantage of Rumah Sakit Ibu dan Anak Eria Bunda Pekanbaru,. 3) there is a positive and significant competitive advantage on the performance of the Rumah Sakit Ibu dan Anak Eria Bunda Pekanbaru,. 4) there is a mediating role for competitive advantage in the influence of Suppy Chain Management on company performance at Rumah Sakit Ibu dan Anak Eria Bunda Pekanbaru.Keywords: Supply Chain Management, Competitive Advantage, Company Performance.

Abstract

This study aims to knowing the influences of work motivation and job training on the performance of employees of the Regional Finance Agency of Agam Regency, West Sumatra. The population in this study included all Civil Servants (CSE) at the Regional Finance Agency of Agam Regency, West Sumatra, the total are 45 people. While the sample in this study includes the all of population. Primary data were collected using a questionnaire as an instrument for research results, to test the hypothesis in this study using multiple linear regression analysis with the help of the SPSS program. The sampling technique chosen was the saturated sampling method (the entire population was sampled, namely 45 employees at the Regional Finance Agency of Agam Regency, West Sumatra). The results of this study show that: 1) There is a positive and significant influence between work motivation on the performance of the employees in the Regional Finance Agency in Agam Regency, West Sumatra, 2) There is a positive and significant influence between job training on the performance of employees in the Regional Finance Agency of Agam Regency, West Sumatra. , 3) There is a positive and significant influence between work motivation and job training together on the performance of the employees of the Regional Finance Agency of Agam Regency, West Sumatera.Keywords : Work Motivation, Job Training, Employee Performance

Abstract

This study aims to determine the optimal quantity of wheat flour as raw material purchased and the total amount of Inventory Costs of wheat flour at Perusahaan Mie Tenaga Muda by comparing two methods at once, namely by using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method and the Just In Time method (JIT). The type of research method used is a descriptive study with quantitative approach. The source of data in this study is a primary data, which obtained directly from interviews and documents from the company. The data analysis used in this study is using EOQ and JIT methods. The results of this study prove that by applying the JIT method there is a greater difference in savings compared to the EOQ method. In a comparison of these two methods, the results show that the JIT method has greater amount in saving of Inventory Costs for 5 years in 2015 - 2019, respectively Rp. 2,311,558.9; Rp. 2,491,383.59; Rp. 2,669,765.48; Rp. 3,040,025.75; Rp. 3,612,489.78. Based on the results of study, it is advisable for Perusahaan Mie Tenaga Muda to apply the JIT method in order to minimize the inventory costs.Keywords: Raw Material Inventory, Total Inventory Cost, Economic Order Quantity, Just In Time.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of the use of Village Funds for Increasing the Income of Sari Galuh Village, Tapung District, Kampar Regency. The research population is the entire community in Sari Galuh Village, which is the head of the family in Sari Galuh Village who are involved in the Village Fund utilization activities, as many as 145 families. The sampling technique in this study was purposive sampling using Taroyamane formula calculation so that as many as 34 respondents were obtained. The measurements taken in this study were using a questionnaire while the analyzing technique was using descriptive analysis and non-parametric test analysis with Sign Test (Sign test) ) and the Wilcolxon test using the SPSS program. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the utilization of the Village Fund had an impact on the Increased Income of the Community of Sari Galuh Village, Tapung District, Kampar Regency. This is because the income of the community before the existence of village funds is less compared to the existence of village funds. so that the utilization of village funds carried out in community empowerment and village development activities increased the income of village communities by 85.29% of the total study respondents felt the increase.Keywords: Village Funds, Utilization, Impacts, Income Increase

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of leadership, motivation and compensation on paramedic performance of mother and children eria bunda pekanbaru hospital. The sampling technique is a method that has been selected census to 104 paramedic who were sampled. The research variables used are leadership (X1) motivation (X2) and compensation (X3) as independent variables and paramedic performance (Y) as dependent variables. The data analysis method used is multiple regression analysis using SPSS 23 for windows. The result showed that: 1) There is a positive and significant effect of leadership on the paramedic performance. 2) There is a positive and significant effect of motivation on the paramedic performance. 3) There is a positive and significant effect of compensation on the paramedic performance. 4) There is a possitive and significant effect of leadership, motivation and compensation on the paramedic performance.Keyword: Leadership, Motivation, Compensation, Peformance

Abstract

Along with the development of the era, the needs of the community are increasing, one of which is the need for public transportation which is now a major need for the community. The competitiveness of the public transportation industry is growing with the existence of digital technology which is continuously being refined according to the needs of society. So that the creation of one of the online transportation, Go-ride by the Go-Jek company, which aims to make it easier for people to meet their needs for transportation, not only that, along with the development of the era, people also want convenience not only in the aspect of transportation but they also want convenience when transacting. , Go-Jek also offers convenience of transactions via electronic wallets, namely Go-pay, electronic wallets have been seen as a facility that provides convenience and benefits in transactions. However, many people view this technology as having risks, when it comes to payments. Even though it contains risks according to some people, many customers still trust and continue to use it, especially among students.Therefore, this study aims to determine how much the comparison of perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, perceived risk and customer satisfaction of electronic wallets (Go-pay) and cash among students of the University of Riau in transactions when using Go-ride online transportation.The results of this study indicate that perceptions of ease of use, perceived usefulness, and perceived of risk towards the Go-pay system payment transactions are greater than cash payment transactions. Even though the risk perception of Gopay payment transactions is greater than cash payment transactions, the level of student satisfaction when using Go-pay payment transactions is greater than cash payment transactions.Keywords: Perceived of Ease of Use, Perceived Usefulness, Perceived of Risk, Consumer Satisfaction, Electronic Payment.

Abstract

This research was conducted in Pelalawan Regency, Riau Province. The purpose of this study was to test empirically the effect of budgetary participation on the performance of local government agencies (P1) To empirically test the effect of functional supervision on the performance of local government agencies (P2) To test empirically the effect of organizational commitment on the performance of local government agencies (P3) To test empirically the effect of leadership style on the performance of local government agencies (P4). This research is expected to be useful as information material for readers and reference material for interested parties in an effort to improve the performance of a local government agency. The type of data used in this study is primary data. And by using the empirical study method. The variables in this study are Participation in Budgeting (P1) Functional Monitoring (P2) Organizational Commitment (P3) Leadership Style (P3). From the research that has been done, it is found that 1) The results of testing the first hypothesis indicate that budgetary participation affects the performance of the Pelalawan Regency local government. 2) The results of testing the second hypothesis show that functional supervision has no effect on the performance of the Pelalawan district government. 3) The results of testing the third hypothesis that organizational commitment has no effect on the performance of the Pelalawan district government. 4) The results of testing the fourth hypothesis, the leadership style has no effect on the performance of the Pelalawan district government.Keyword: Participation, Supervision, Commitment, Leadership Style; Local Government Performance.
