Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study was conducted in November 2014 in the Sawah Village, KuantanTengah District, Kuantan Singingi Regency, Riau province . This research aims : 1 ) todetermine the pond area before and after the PETI . 2 ) to determine the production of fishbefore and after the PETI .Population in this study is that fish farmers amounted to 14 people and 4 peopleinformant. So that the sample collection method using census method . PETI presence causesextensive pool down 34% from 10.410 m2 (43 units) to 6.860 m2 (28 units). PETI presencecauses fish production decreased 41 % from 110.400 kg to 64.050 kg/year. This is becausethe pond fish farmers polluted by waste dumped by illegal mining activities. Keywords: PETI, extensive pond fish farmers, fish production.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research was conducted on September-October 2014 at the waters of the Rupat Utara Bengkalis district Riau Province, using survey method. Data taken consisted of waters environment parameters area of the physical and chemical include the water temperature, salinity, current speed, brightness, depth, and the degree of acidity (PH). Measurements were performed for ten days along with decision gill net. During the 10 days of observation obtained catches up to 94.5 kg, catches the highest number of 16 kg and the lowest catch is 7 kg, with the physical and chemical conditions. 270-300 C temperature, salinity 25-29 ‰, current speed from 0.10 to 0.33 m / sec, the brightness of 0.57 m - 1.22 m, depth of 18-30 m, and the degree of acidity (pH) 6- 8. Multiple linear regression analysis showed a very strong correlation between the catch with the environmental parameters with regression coefficient 0.948 and turns physical and chemical parameters waters have contributed to the variation 89.9% on the results of fishing. Keywords: waters Rupat Utara, gill net, environment parameters, multiple linear regression

Abstract

ABSTRACTSamuel_megland@yahoo.comWhile entering the fishing season or the density of vessels which are landed, that was resulted the quality of the catches can go down, made a queue of ships, and can increase the cost of mooring boats too. Therefore, that’s make a question arises whether the landing time to bouke ami fishing boats mooring time in the port of the archipelago Kejawanan fishery has efficient, what are the effect factors of it and how much these factors make the influence. This study was conducted on 03-17 November 2014 in the fishing port Kejawanan archipelago, using the survey method. The results showed that the efficiency level of fish landing time at bouke ami fishing vessels ranged from 22.57% to 64.36% with an average of 46.69%. Dependent variables (the amount of ABK, the age of ABK, size of fleet, cathches, the distance of unloading pier and the wasted times) there is no significant differences of the efeciency level either among the time or in parsial time.Keyword: Effeciency, Fishing Port, Dependent variables

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study was aimed to evaluate the sensory and chemical quality ofMystus smoked fish (Mystus nemurus) made from fresh and frozen fish. Mystusfish harvest size (200-300 grams) per head obtained from aquaculture cages inSungai Paku, Kampar. A total of 10 fish were frozen at -18 0C for 10 days beforesmoked and 10 other smoked in a fresh condition. Before the two fish groupssmoked, each cleaved form of butterfly like cut and filleted. Mystus fish thenwashed with clean water and smoked using multilevel temperature of 50-60 0C(drying), 80-95 0C (ripening) and 50-60 0C (improvement). The results showed asmoking yield of smoked fish fillets and butterfly like cut are made from freshfish are respectively 34.09% and 41.55% higher than made from smoked fish offrozen fish, which is 29.60% and 40.54%. Appearance and texture of smoked fishfillets and butterfly like cut are made from fresh fish better than smoked fish madefrom frozen fish, but the smell and the taste was not different between the twosmoked fish. Water content, fats and proteins of smoked fish are made from freshfish are respectively 15.00%, 18.60%, 44.08% and 15.79%, 18.93%, 43.65%;higher than that of water content, fats and proteins smoked fish are made fromfrozen fish, which is 14.66%, 18.13%, 43.59% and 15.59%, 18.46%, 43.31%.Keywords: smoked fish, quality, Mystus (Mystus nemurus), fresh fish, frozen fish.

Abstract

ABSTRAK   This study Held on 20 August to 4 September 2014. The aims : 1) the cost of production, sales and profits by analyzing the processing of salted fish. 2) To know how much the contributions made from salted fish processing companies to the total household income of fishermen. 3) To know the limitations and problems in the processing of salted fish processing companies. Take census respondents to the salted fish processors that perform processing each month, amounting to 2 persons, while it done in a simple random sumpling on salted fish processors do processing depending on the season less than 14 respondents. The average incurred by the salted fish processing performed per month in the first year total cost of Rp 20.463.667 with revenues of Rp 30.38 million and the average profit earned Rp 10.036.333, average total cost spent by processing salted fish depending on the season is Rp 5.380.193 with a turnover of Rp 6.536.923 and the average profit earned Rp 1,118,378. Contributions average score given by the processing of salted fish, which depend on the season amounted to 19% and which is not dependent on the processing of regular season by 81%, wherein the contribution of salted fish processing company still shows very low because of the low contribution of the low production. Problems in the processing of raw materials salted fish depending on the season, the equipment is simple, the drying process depends on the weather and lack of hygiene.     Keywords: salted fish, cost, revenue , profit , contribution
